Okay I’ve been there twice and I’m so apologetic that I forgot to ask the bartenders for their names. Anyway tonight there was an Asian girl with reddish hair she made my first espresso martini and poured my water for me, thanks girlie! Great first drink for a Thursday! Very yummy. Another girl with brunette hair made my second one, I’m sorry I’m deaf and asked you 3 times what you said. My hearing is so shot but 2nd drink still very yummy. And thank you to the tall guy that greeted me when I first came in. We talking about journals and fountains pens and I meant to ask your name but there were so many people that ended up there by 5p I was so overwhelmed and wanted to give a couple my seats. He was very nice and attentive to me during the night. Honestly all the staff were nice and pleasant and even with so many people drinks and food seemed to be coming out promptly. I highly recommend the bar, great time after work. I’ll come by next time I get off work early. A great place to journal and people watch (yes I’m weird and journal in public at bars). If you’re people averse maybe don’t go on a Thursday night like I did 😅. Thanks to all the staff! All of you are slaying.

Had high hopes but it was so mid. Bartender could not care less about customers or his job. Drinks expensive and not well crafted. Avoid this place and go one block over to Holbrook house to get great drinks and way better service.

We just hosted our wedding party here at the Treasury in San Francisco and our guests absolutely loved it! They had a wonderful selection of drinks for the bar and everyone kept talking about how good the food was. I also wanted to give a shoutout to Tristen and Luis for being so responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. I highly recommend for those who are looking to host events at this beautiful bar!

I had a great time at the Treasury Bar. Their cocktails were well-crafted, and the ambiance was inviting. However, it's worth noting that the prices can add up quickly – two cocktails plus a tip ended up costing me $50. So, it might be a bit on the pricier side, but if you're looking for quality drinks and a nice atmosphere, it's worth a visit. Bartenders were also good conversationalists and service was great.

Service is good, but my drink tasted watered down and bland. Ambiance is whatever. Since drinks are $17-$20 each, not worth it. To be fair the bar snacks looked good but we didn’t try them.

Great spot for cocktails. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed by my selection. It does rotate somewhat seasonally, which is always nice. It's got a great vibe with impeccable decorations, blending in nicely with its setting of the lobby of an old financial building. I only take a star off because it's not a really a destination for more than one drink. It is SUPER popular for a post-work drink, where you will have a hard time finding a spot to sit and it's quite loud (though honestly this is true for most bars in the immediate area). I've also gone after dinner, and this is truly the best time to go if you want a more chill vibe. Unfortunately because of the location, last call is about 10 PM or so - once again really only able to enjoy one drink. If you're looking for an early-night cap, this is your spot!

Excellent cocktails, nice staff, great aesthetic in a landmarked building. Music is a bit clubby but not kept too loud, so it’s still possible to chat.

Luis is an awesome tender.... Very cold space and amazing cocktails First was a Griffo Distillery Scott Street Gin with ouzo, lime, honey..... super delicious. And the second an icy/ slurry combination of two whiskey, bourbon and Griffo Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur....

Great place for after work cocktails and Treasury popcorn. Drinks and ambiance are nice, but the food is only ok. The tri tip sandwich and sliders were super dry...I took a bite and couldn't manage to take a clean bite without pulling out the whole piece of meat. Service however is stellar and very friendly.

I'm ready to make an investment at The Treasury! Located on the corner of Bush and Sansome Streets in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District, The Treasury represents a classic laid back vibe back when this area was dominated by business people and bankers who made deals over drinks and bites during lunch and after work drinks. With a setting that resembles that of bank or at least that of a lobby of a first floor of a huge skyscraper, of which The Treasury resides in, this lively bar is equal parts watering hole, sports bar and even large party gathering space to all who come thanks to the abundance of elevated lighting fixtures, a sleek and inviting bar top, and plenty of seating to be found both there and at the many high top tables they had when a group of friends and I came on a recent weeknight evening. With the sun still out, it was the perfect time to enjoy a nice libation and relax after work and a friend who once worked in the area suggested The Treasury to unwind. The menu at The Treasury is on every table and paper coaster as a QR code and is separated into categories including Cocktails, Highballs, Low and No Proof for their beverages and their separate Bites menu. Of course, we came for cocktails and I ordered their Smoke and Mirrors cocktail which had botanist gin, pineapple, smoked tea, lime and bitter. My drinking mates ordered their FIDI Punch, which had Singani 63, Creme de Banane, pineapple, lime and spices; and their Treasury Espresso Martini, which had Bacardi 8yr Rum, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Luxumus liqueur, Muscovado, Angostura and salt. To pair with our meal the staff was generous enough to give us their Popcorn which was made of heirloom kernels and topped with their signature seasoning. Our drinks arrived about ten minutes after ordering and my Smoke and Mirrors cocktail was a smooth lushly composed cocktail presented without any ice, of which I was expecting something dark and smokey and it turned out to be light and airy, as if I was sipping a cocktail at a beach resort. The popcorn snack was the perfect accompaniment to our drinks as the seasoning had a bit of matcha flavoring to it, which made for a unique combination of flavors, especially since there were so many popped kernels to enjoy overall. With games playing on the flat panel television screen in the background and multiple people coming in to enjoy themselves with a private party going on right behind us the atmosphere was lively. It helps that the entire bar area is open to that of the lobby of which it resides, of which you need to enter just to get into The Treasury and to even leave to use the restrooms. Our bill equaled about twenty dollars a person which was reasonable for a light cocktail and quick snack and just like that we were on our way and the subway stop was a mere block away. Who knew something called The Treasury could be so quick and approachable, as I was able to catch some of their larger dishes and shareable meals and they honestly looked real good and hearty like their Tri Tip Sliders and their Avocado Hummus, as everything was reasonably priced too. Looks like I have a new place to visit once work is over, as The Treasury will keep taking my reserves from now on.

Came here for a work event! The bar area is pleasant but a bit small. All the food was pretty amazing, my favorites were the hotdogs and beef empanadas. Drinks were good but pretty standard. Bartenders were pretty cool.

Great cocktails and appetizers, quiet ambience, good service! Went here for a cocktail and some appetizers on Thursday. I ordered the Paper Trail cocktail - absolutely delicious! The bitterness of the alcohol was cut perfectly by the mango - jalapeño mix. The best part was the lava salt on the rim of the glass. We also ordered the shrimp sliders which were delicious. Each slider was bigger than bite-sized portions, which made for a filling appetizer. The avocado hummus was pretty mediocre though. The ambience was elegant with dim lighting and mellow music which allowed for conversation comfortably. The crowd was largely corporate, which made for a sophisticated experience overall.

So I worked with Phil who later e introduced me to Luis to plan our office happy hour when it came to reservations and it was a perfect night. It was my first time at the Treasury and this place gets packed. For our reservations, they roped off our area and gave us standing tables which is exactly what a group like us loves. I didn't catch his name but the man who was serving us all night was great despite being so busy. He was constantly checking on us throughout the night between drinks and food. Everyone in my office really loved their drinks and the food we ordered was delicious. We ordered pigs in a blanket, deviled eggs, crab dip, and a cheese plate they had. Everything was just so flavorful. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for future happy hours or maybe even our holiday party this year. Thank you for taking care of us!! :)

Fav drink is the selfie - one of the better spots in fidi. Staff remembers their clients and you can order from your phone or from bartender. Not pretentious and good for work happy hour

The mini hot dogs are insane. Highlight of my night. Still thinking about them to this day. Drinks were nice. There was one in a cool terracotta cup. It came with a mango lollipop and tajin. The space itself is pretty small, would be nice to have more seating. Still a cool place to check out.

Love that they give popcorn out. Lively and loud happy hour spot. I came in here to do some work during the day and the waitress was so nice to me. I had lunch and then grabbed a drink and some bites as day turned to evening. Will definitely be back.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this. Excellent spot for cocktails pre dinner. It's a trendy spot, but also no BS cocktails and bar staff. If I'm the area it's my go to.

$17 mocktail during HH?!?!?! Good Gawd!!!!! It is a fun place with great staff and they are great with events, but watch out for the stupid prices around thee NA drinks.

Came through to support one of my girls who works behind the bar, love the location, and setting, and the feel here. Laid back, casual but you could dress it up. Seems like a great spot to hit after leaving work for good vibes and great drinks. Def will recommend.

Great location to grab a quick drink. Fidi crowd with a few locals mixed in. During these Covid times, they do ask for a vax card for quick reference. They can do simple and common cocktails, but advanced asks will require some finesse. Staff is friendly and the bar offers a lot of conversational pieces and liquors to be curious about. Sat by the bar for a quick round before dinner. No notes on the food, but the few plates that walked by looked good.

Great spot for happy hour. We were able to grab some seats at the bar despite it being pretty busy. I hadn't planned on eating but I kept seeing bowls of popcorn being made and had to have some--so good! All of the staff were super friendly. Will definitely come back.

Very chill vibe. We came around 4 and it was quiet and empty. Great atmosphere and great drinks. At 5pm however, it was crowded crowded

I was meeting a friend here before heading to an event. Their drinks were elegant, nicely decorated, and good portion mixed! Will be back again to have food next time!

Our office, Desmarais LLP, had an after work social in June and everyone loved it. The food was great. The drinks were great. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this venue for any and all types of get togethers.

Bougie, boozy and delicious - this cocktail place is the spot for after work happy hours or small get togethers. They don't have happy hour prices but their cocktails are expert level and very instagrammable lol Personally loved the mezcal based drinks like game hanger and the garden drink.

I was looking for a new place to put in my regular rotation of places in SF, so I found The Treasury on Yelp and decided to visit. Got there around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday and was very impressed by both the design and location. There was a spot at the bar equidistant between two guys who looked like regulars but also looked like they weren't really in the mood to strike up a conversation with a stranger (me). Actually, it did appear they were both trying to wind down after a hectic workday, so I decided not to bother them. I ordered a glass of Hefeweizen to start, but quickly realized it was American Hefeweizen which always strikes me as notably weaker than the authentic German ones. I followed that up with a Whisky Sour that was amazingly stronger than its size suggested (a good thing!). Then I got the Cuban Sandwich appetizer which was good, but definitely not as robust as I've had elsewhere (the one I had before was in Miami's Little Havana district, so probably not a fair comparison). Washed that down with a glass of Tattinger Champagne and a snack of coated peanuts with lime leaves and called it a visit. "So why'd you give it 4 stars?" you ask? Well, the reason I did (mind you, 4 stars in Yelp is still considered "Good") is because The Treasury doesn't give off the local friendly bar vibe. To be sure, this is *definitely* the place to visit if you have a generous corporate expense account and/or are looking to impress a business client. For me, I'm glad I got to try The Treasury at least once, but I'm not sure I'd come back again.

This place is somehow always crowded after work hours so I decided to try. They have a great selection of cocktails and snacks. The place is cozy and aesthetic and the service is very nice. I really like mezcal cockails so I ordered the Game changer and it was great - it had the right amount of smokiness and sweetness. They have nuts and popcorn in their bites section - the nuts are amazingggg, they are flavored with some Indian spices (even reminded me of maggi masala) and it was a great addition to the table.

Stopped in for a work happy hour and was pretty impressed with the delicious cocktails and great service. I sipped on a few Paper Trail cocktails that was made with Don Julio 70th anniversary anéjo tequila, Aperol, Angostura amaro, mango, lemon, jalapeño, black lava salt, aquafaba. Had 3 and each one was on point with no variation. The staff was pretty attentive yet not overbearing. They knew the perfect time to swoop in and take the empty and offer a replacement. I definitely will be coming back.

Excellent service, great bar food and amazing drinks! My party and I went on the day dreamforce was happening so it was pretty crowded. The waiter was quick to see us standing and made sure we had a table right away before someone else snagged. We got a perfect table to the side of the bar and our waitress was super quick and attentive. She came immediately as soon as she saw our drinks/plates empty. We ordered the deviled eggs, pigs in a blanket, slider & popcorn. Everything was so tasty and came out quick. My cocktails were amazing too. I got 2 milk clarified punches, one with tequila the other with whiskey I believe. They even had fancy gold metal straws which most bars dont have. They also were playing great music (old school/new hip hop, R&B and some pop). Hands down one of the best bar experiences here in SF for me.

Milk Punch Review Clarified Milk Punch: 2022: Toki whisky infused with golden raisins, argonaut brandy, Oloroso Sherry, Walnut, Milk Lemon Another great milk punch. whisky+brandy+sherry seems to be a popular combo to clarify. Great results. A little nocino walnut liqueur goes a long way too. Could easily have 4 of those. One of the few places that have a milk punch and is open during lunch too! Just plan to uber because parking is always tough.

A very cool little spot, with plenty of cocktails to chose from. The bartenders are great, and know how to make a drink. I say this bc in some places around the area, the cocktails are not well balanced and you end up tasting either more ice than anything else. The only thing, though, it is a bit loud. If you are a few drinks in... then it's fine. :)

My daughter and I were meeting my husband after work as we had an appointment and we were a bit early and the weather was a bit cold and windy (typical SF) so I thought we could duck in here, I could have a glass of wine and we could wait for him. I didn't know until entering the building that it was a true bar establishment and as my daughter is in 4th grade, of course we were not able to come in and have a seat. Totally my fault and honestly, I was a bit embarrassed about my faux pas of bringing a child to a bar, however, the gentleman who very kindly let us know that we could not come in, truly went above and beyond by offering to set up a table in the lobby of the building for us to have a seat at and order. And by the way, retrieving a table for us meant he had to go grab one from a storage room and bring it out and set it up along with chairs and water for the table. It was definitely a generous offer! What an amazing human being this gentleman was. I wish I had thought to get his name. Best service ever especially in a city that often frowns upon children! Though we did not sit inside, the ambiance looked very inviting, the space is very nice and I highly HIGHLY recommend going here (preferably with adults only although you know if you happy to have a child with you - you won't be completely turned away! )

In the Financial District. This area felt very safe and clean - especially for San Francisco. I had a long dress on in the winter, and there wasn't one homeless person around. Extremely clean sidewalks. A good place for happy hour and bar food. I had to shell out twenty bucks to park in the nearest garage, however, that's cheap compared to getting a ticket, or worse getting towed in the city.

great place to get some drinks after work we happened to order the vodka espresso drink and lucked out cuz one of the vodka representatives was at the bar that night. got another free drink on their tab! the side plates were tasty as well

the drinks are good. the music is on point and the staff/service is pretty good. fills up with the post work happy hour crowd which typically isnt my scene, but its the nature of the neighborhood. would recommend stopping by for a drink if in the neighborhood!

Classy, yet still a place that everyone can enjoy. Craft cocktails with unique ingredients. Nice bartenders, and good music, hip hop playing last Friday afternoon. I heard how packed The Treasury gets, luckily we arrived before the rush, right before 4:00 last Friday. A lot of the tables were already taken and those that weren't were reserved. So we sat at the bar. I wish I noticed the specials that were written on the mirror, but next time I'll look and try (if they still have it) the orange slushy. I went with the Smoke & Mirrors which was a gin based drink (but I subbed it out for vodka), pineapple juice, smoked tea, lime and bitters. My coworkers had a Manhattan and another bourbon based drink. I loved my Smoke & Mirrors! It was so refreshing and not very strong (though I've heard some of the drinks are). To munch on we had their popcorn, which had their own special seasoning on it. It took us awhile to figure out what it tasted like, but one of the guys put it perfectly, he said he thought it tasted like chicken cup of noodles. So it's interesting and not going to be for everyone. The bartenders are the perfect mix of friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The wine pours are generously heavy and the place is beautiful with a nice long banquette bar table and some individual tables. Get here early as it gets busy, but it's not annoyingly wall to wall packed like other spots in FiDi get. Drinks are priced at FiDi prices but are well crafted and unique. Think wooden planks to get Smokey flavors and lightly torched popcorn pieces to top a drink off. Reminiscent of Novela but better. I'll be back to quench my thirst.

Stopped in for a quick drink after dinner. The place is beautiful but the staff really made this place for us. The bartender didn't have the drink I wanted and offered to make me something he thought I would like and it was incredible. They chatted with us and were all so fun. Loved it.

Very classy looking bar. There's more bar seating than there are tables so don't be afraid to rub elbows with the patron next to you. Doesn't get overly crowded which is perfect for an after work drink. The bartenders were very attentive and made sure we had refills. Their whiskey sours are delicious! I also ordered the tycoon is definitely a must order. Good selection of whiskeys here! Would definitely come back to try their other drinks. It's a pretty bar with laid back vibes--perfect for all you first daters!

A must-visit fine-dining place with a good ambiance. They have these amazing cocktails. Their Khasta Kachori Chaat and Chicken Malai Kebab are must-tries!

The Treasury is a cute little cocktail bar in FIDI in a beautiful Beaux Arts space. They have a variety of creative craft cocktails and bar bites, charcuterie. I tried a few of their specialty cocktails, one favorite was The Graham, a bourbon based cocktail reminiscent of a S'more complete with a toasted marshmallow on top! One drawback is the place is quite small and the drinks are overly expensive for what you get. Still, this is a great place to grab a quick drink or host a small gathering.

A small place right on bush across from the target. Inside is really nice with a bar with lots of seating and a bunch of small tables all around. It wasn't hard finding a place to stand or sit. Lots of bartenders too so you won't be waiting long. All the drinks on the menu were amazing. Saw they had food too but didn't order any. Will try it next time I'm back. This place is definitely a good place for after work drinks or having a date.

The Treasury is a great option for an afterwork or pre-dinner bar in the Financial District. Recently, I got to try this place for a drink before heading to dinner and I was impressed. Their drinks were really good, the service was friendly and the bar itself is long and gorgeous giving the place a polished aesthetic. I would recommend the tequila, Aperol and jalapeno-y Paper Trail and the mezcal and vermouth forward Game Changer.

Came to San Francisco for a quick 48 hour trip with a friend. Stumbled into this little bar late on a Thursday night. About an hour before closing. The bar is beautiful to start. Very small, and the decor is beautiful. It's in the old federal reserve building, hints "the treasury". Our bartender Luis was truly a gem and made this experience one to remember! To start he made us some amazing cocktails that looked like they were right out of the tropics. He went out of his way to give us a list of recommendations on where to go in the city. When I come back to San Fran I will absolutely visit this sweet little bar.

Good drinks & good vibes. Pretty quiet but not too boring. The service was excellent! We got the popcorn and it was pretty good. The drinks were about $15 but not too sugary or artificial.

I'm writing a review in hopes of getting someone to contact me as their phone number listed is out of service. The drinks are super yummy and the staff of super friendly. The issue I'm having is that there was an added drink to our bill that was never ordered and trying to contact the business to get to the bottom of this is hard as...the number is not in service. So resorting to yelp to try to get some of help is unfortunate because the place is fun and the drinks are good but here we are.

Great place to grab a drink. Cocktails and bartenders are always on point. The music stays hip hop and rnb. Just a great vibe. The bar itself is modern and clean. Max makes a great Game Changer. They offer some pretty good bites too. Grab some of their popcorn

I was meeting up friends for happy hour last week and had one requirement. Find a place by work I haven't been to. One of my friends picked The Treasury. I met them up on Thursday, July 28th around 5:45pm. It was packed, but I was the second one there and my friend had snagged a seat at the bar. *SMOKE & MIRRORS: Anchor Old Tom Gin, pineapple & smoked tea, lemon, Dale DeGroff bitters ($14) *PINKERTON: George Dickel rye, Blenheim "Hot" ginger ale, bitters ($13) *STANDARD OIL: Rittenhouse rye whiskey, Dolin rouge vermouth, Drambuie, coffee bitters ($14) Since there were three of us and it was super busy, the friend who got there first just ordered three drinks. The Standard Oil ended up being mine. Basically a twist on a Manhattan, so this was the most like my type of drink. The rest of the drinks were pretty and colorful, but everything seemed light and I like my drinks dark and strong. I saw a bunch of people ordering the daily slushie, so maybe that's the drink to get? It looked more like a drink I would enjoy on the beach versus a SF HH drink. Most bars in the FiDi are busy after work and this one is no exception. Drinks are fun, but taste wise not my type of cocktail. And the atmosphere was not really my type of place either. A little too uppity? More so because of the clientele than the bar itself, I think. Normally we'd have a couple rounds at a new bar, but we only stuck around for one.

I enjoy grabbing drinks here at anytime during the day. I've had drinks here at lunch time as well as around 3pm. It's a pleasant place with friendly service and delicious cocktails. When I'm feeling under the weather, they'll make me a Hot Toty. Their lunch food is good as well. My friend liked their Ramen. It's not a big portion but enough. My Caesar Salad was a decent size and the chicken was moist.

We stopped by The Treasury on an early Saturday afternoon. It's located in the Financial District and has the upscale, modern decor you'd expect. Cocktails are strong, creative and service is on point. Despite the lull before the later crowds, our bartender happily shared a sample of their slushy (strong!) and explained all the cocktail ingredients. Paso De Drake - $13. Served in a tall glass, this cocktail was strong but refreshing. Purple Rain - $13. Colorful, fruity, and strong. Hit the spot. The names of the cocktails are more playful than the cocktails themselves which are all business. Cheese Plate - $15. The chef was out so they only had a limited menu. I was disappointed we couldn't try the more interesting items. Cheese was fine but not memorable. Overall, we had a nice time hanging out before hitting the town. The owner stopped by to say hello and ask how everything was and I imagine this is a work happy hour hot spot. As it was, shortly after we arrived, a company party took root and the atmosphere was lovely and fun. The Treasury accepts credit cards including American Express.
