We stopped in for a later dinner as a group of 8- 4 adults and 4 kids (ages ranged from 1-7). The food was good and decently priced. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would go back & would recommend!

Absolutely loved the Sunday chicken roast I got. It was amazing. My mate got the the beef roast. This is a must visit place to anyone who enjoys a good roast. You can see yourself from the pictures. I also got 2 meals out of it cause my 5 foot body could not finish the lovely meal while my mate cleared the plate. The service was also amazing! I will definitely be coming back because yum 😋 😍

Very nice place to have a drink though more expensive than those around. We went on quiz night by fluke and enjoyed it very much. Lovely staff, the haddock chips sharer was banging but my friend's mac and cheese was a rather lacking on the cheese, and the cheesy chips he had were tough and the cheese seemed like it was microwaved on.

🚇 Borough 🍺 £5.60 Amstel ❤️ A reinvigorated Borough boozer. . Situated at a busy intersection on Borough High Street, you’ll find The Trinity Pub. If you fancy a bit of sightseeing en route, the last remaining wall of Marshalsea Prison (1373–1842) is located just across the road. The nearest Tube is Borough which is next door to the pub. . The pub was previously known as The Hole in the Wall from 1899 to 2014, when it was given its current moniker. Prior to 1899, it was known as The St George’s Tavern. Fuller’s acquired the pub in August 2019. . The decor here is contemporary and has that Fullers touch of class about it. The main bar is set out in an ‘L’ shape with a dining area at the back and the predominantly imbibing area at the front. The servery is a good size and accessible from all areas, upstairs is a function room called the St George’s Room, I would guess in homage to St George the Martyr Anglican Church across the road. . The beer line up is strong, there is a good selection of craft, mainstream and cask options. I was taking in easy and opted for an Amstel, my pint was decent and cost less than six quid. There is a traditional pub grub menu available, I was feeling a bit Hank so ordered some Whitebait, my food hit the spot, price point was £8.95. Just for comparison, Fish & Chips costs £18.50. . I arrived just before 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and the pub was busy with both drinkers and diners. The atmosphere was welcoming and convivial, there was a nice buzz here. The service was on point, the two ladies behind the bar were all smiles and courteous. There is plenty on offer here to keep you entertained, throughout the month there are comedy nights, quizzes and cocktail evenings. Also, if you work for the NHS, discounts are available. . I last visited the @trinityborough five years ago, back then it was a tired Borough watering hole. This pub is a great example of “ build it and they will come”. I really enjoyed my visit here, lots of different people from all walks of life socialising in a welcoming environment, just as it should be. We went as a large group for a Sunday roast and it was excellent!! The roast lamb fell off the bone and the portion sizes are huge, additional sides are not needed. We did order a side of Mac and cheese which was disappointing but will definitely be coming back for a roast again. 10/10.

Decent Fuller's pub with a mock tudor frontage next door to Borough tube station. Two cask beers on handpump when I last visited. A few tables outside at the front. Surprisingly quiet at 21:00 on a Saturday.

I ran a coaching workshop for men’s mental wellbeing in the private room in the Trinity. From the first interaction the team were great answering all of my questions and letting me come down and check out the space. They allowed me access the day before to set everything as I wanted and check all the tech and were accommodating to make sure that all my food and drink was all pre-ordered and ready to go. On the day itself the team was a well oiled machine. They were incredibly helpful and communicative. They had someone on our private bar, kept me updated with the tab and were even able to push food back a little when we were running behind. The service was EXCEPTIONAL! We will be booking again very soon! Thank you so much for all your hard work!

This pub is a gem! The service was friendly and professional. Selection of beers and food is exactly what we looked for after days out in the city. Come by if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable pint! You won’t regret it!

This was a pretty good pub. Actually, come to think of it, it was a pub that I basically discovered when I stepped out of a railway station and discovered that it was next door. I guess, as such, we can call this place a railway pub. Anyway, the service was pretty good, and yeah, the beer selection wasn't all that bad either, to be honest.

It's right there, next to Borough Station. Difficult to resist stopping in for a pint and a bite. Interesting ale selection, as well. They have a few hand pumps. We tried the Trinity Landlord's Choice. The venison pie was delicious, fresh, and warm with a nice buttery flaky crust. The gravy was medium thickness and beef stew-y. The filling was full of veggies, maybe two-thirds of the filling, meaning about one-third meat. The venison pieces themselves could have been chopped bigger and were a little on the dry side. They have a bunch of board games for patrons to grab and entertain themselves with. It was nice to wile away some time while playing a broken Guess Who? and a Connect 4 missing a few pieces. Good times! Bottom line: + location, ambiance, games, some ales - nothing mindblowing in terms of food & service

The Trinity is a lively bar located seconds from borough tube station. They serve quite a range of beers, such as Staropramen, Amstel, as well as cocktails and wine list. They also serve food along similar lines as you'd find at Slug and Lettuce, such as burgers, nachos and the like-reasonable quality but I wouldn't say it was fantastic either. It has pretty funky décor, and party music plays out load in the evenings. During the summer months they open up the large windows at the front giving a more open feel. This isn't the kind of place you'd go to for a quiet drink, but is more popular with the after-work crowd. The bar also seems to have a policy of employing very attractive bar staff!

Nothing bad, but nothing exciting. They suffer from "next to tube station" syndrom. They dont have to be good to make money. And to be fair, most of the commuters don't care if they made an effort. A catch 22. That said, it could be a tad more polished, snappy in service, etc.

I live quite nearby and this is definitely one of the best pubs in the area. If you're around Borough High Street this is your best bet for a quietish place with decent food and a place to sit and have a chat. Definitely a big step above your average pub without being pretentious or overpriced. Staff are excellent, food is well prepared, and ambiance is nice. Despite what a few of my fellow yelpers say I've found the food to be very nice Roasts are top notch and weekday menu has some interesting items. The terrine was excellent

Loads of fun. Pub quiz on Monday nights with a charming host. Booths or tables. Enough menu options to please most. Great fish and chips, smoked salmon and calamari. Good sized side salad. Reasonable prices. Service is the same again the rest of London.

Not the cosiest of spots but handy to drop in for a late pint on a Saturday night. Several interesting ales on tap and non-offensively loud music so A-ok as the three stars would suggest! c*

Living a mere 2 minutes walk from here, I'm surprised it's taken me so long to visit! I met a friend last night for a dinner and catch up, the Trinity was a lovely choice. The vibe was cosy, low key, and inviting, with lots of available tables and candles providing a comforting glow! Menu is full of British pub staples...fish and chips, burger, steak, etc. My burger was excellent, although my medium rare was a touch more on the medium side! Chips were solid, but needed a hit of salt. Staff were reserved, but friendly and approachable - after all, it was only a Tuesday night! Haven't tried the drinks yet, but lots of brews I had never had on tap,. so will definitely pop back in for a pint soon!

I love the decor of this place, the friendly staff and its proximity to a recording studio I visit fairly regularly. The food is pretty good, the toilets are nice and they have the usual sorts of drinks - what more could a person wish for in a drinking establishment? The people who run the place are so lovely they let my band do a photo shoot in the corner during a reasonably busy afternoon without making a fuss or charging us any money, and the striking wallpaper looked amazing in the shots.

If I hadn't eaten here, they'd have got more stars. And weirdly, Alex said the same thing. We did eat together though, so it's understandable. The pub is nice. Really nice actually. Cool decor, friendly staff, nice open front (heh, that turn of phrase sounds a bit rude but you know what I mean). It's a better than alright pub. But that doesn't really explain why our roasts were so average. Boring and bland, and actually pretty sparse. If my lunch has cost me a tenner, I don't want to be hungry when I'm finished. It wasn't the worst lunch I've ever had, but I was hungry! I don't often go out for a Sunday lunch, I don't like feeling like it was a waste of money. I'll come back here for drinks, but I'd eat elsewhere.

On a bit of a gamble, I went here for Sunday lunch with a friend. Fortunately the gamble paid off, and I wasn't disappointed at all. Normally, in my experience, pubs located right next to tube stations have a definite tendency to be a bit ropey - catering the the desperate, lazy or unimaginative. But The Trinity seems to be the exception to this rule. The pub is a decent size, but was only half full when we turned up just before 2pm on a Sunday. Over the course of the next couple of hours, it did fill out a bit more, but it was still not particularly rammed. The place had a nice laid-back atmosphere about it, and the bar staff were very friendly (and, some might say, easy on the eye!). They had a decent selection of three real ales on tap; the one that I ordered was certainly well-kept always a good sign. My friend said her red wine tasted a bit funny, but I tried it and it tasted OK to me! The Sunday food menu consisted primarily of roasts, which my friend and I duly ordered (one pork, one beef). When the food arrived, I'm pleased to say that it was pretty good. The vegetables were especially well prepared a decent selection, all cooked fairly well, which is unusual for pub roasts. The table service was a bit on the slow side, but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a problem. I also noticed a big screen and projector at one end of the bar, so it might also be a useful sport-watching venue. Definitely worth a return visit.

While the atmosphere is not the best (why hello bustling Borough station), the food and beer/wine selection is usually higher than standard fare. However they only get two stars in my book because there's no consistency! One day it's amazing burgers and spot-on fresh salad, another day it I feel as if I'm eating warm leftovers. It's saving grace is friendly service and a two-for-one burger night on Tuesday.

A good bar without pretension. The food isn't fantastic, but I didn't expect it to be. (obviously it's dave from ca's first trip across the pond) The bar staff is friendly and attentive, and it's a good place to catch a lively match. It's just a good pub next to a tube station.

Delicious meal to end a Sunday. Variety of beers available to quench the thirst from a long day.

Stopped in for an after-dinner drink (or two) after a meal at Edwin's next door. The front doors were open to the street, and the pub was mainly lit by candles, which gave a nice vibe. The drinks menu seemed standard enough, nothing special, pretty standard for a pub I suppose. We didn't even look at the food menu, but if I was in the area and hungry for pub food, I might give it a go. Convenient location, staff was fine, drinks were fine. Nothing amazing, but nothing to really complain about either.

Generic in every way. Not real bad, but unless you need a pint RIGHT FUCKING NOW it's probably worth giving a miss.

Their crispy-skin salmon is top-notch. The best I've had in London so far. Try their Trinity ale while you're there.

The Trinity is a quite elegant place, very easy to get there because it's just next door to Borough tube station, and with a good selection of drinks; among these they have Czech tap beer. The interior is very well decorated, elegant and warm. There are big windows at the front wall that make the space feel bigger than it really is. They have some big tables as well, where you can organize a poker game with several people.

have only been to this pub a handful of times and every time we have gone we are just at the start of the dinner service so have had to wait for the chef to "print out the menus" far from being annoyed though it adds to the charm of this place. the interior is a mismatch of armchairs and sofas in one corner and tables. nice dark, feels cosy and homely. good selection of beers and wines too. and the food though priced for london is really good and you know that the selection of ingredients is special and in season. a real true london pub!
