I love the vegan joint! It’s one of my go-to spots because the food is great and usually comes out pretty quickly. I like sitting outside because I love the hanging plants and wind chimes. I bring my non-vegan friends here and they always have great things to say about this place :)

We’ve been coming here for years and absolutely love it. Great vegan comfort food, wide variety on menu, and a nice atmosphere, also with tables outside in cute Palms. Love the Yellow Curry, the fried spring rolls, and the various chicken dishes. Impossible Ka Pring is pretty bomb.

Wow this was so good. We got the food and dug in right away because it was delicious. We forgot to take a before picture but this is a during picture of the fried chicken and eggplant dishes which were both amazing! My new favorite spot hands down! And the customer service is spectacular!!!

What a wonderful and amazing experience we had at the Vegan Joint! This was our first time at the Vegan Joint and words can’t describe the delight I had with this establishment. The food was delicious and amazing. The service was professional and exceptional. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. This is the first time being here and y’all im in love.😍💖🥰 Not only this place is gorgeous! BUT the food is sooooo bomb! I got the Spicy Chicken Burger w/ fries. OMG! What an experience!! I didn’t want to stop eating it and I was sad it was gone 😭! I had to stop myself from ordering another one. It was that good. I love how juicy and thick and flavorful it was! Plus it had the perfect amount of spice! I ordered the Butterfly Pea Tea!!! Woooow!!! Im obsessed!!! && the Carrot Cake… 🤤🤤🤤🤤 This is officially my favorite restaurant stop! You’ll be seeing me again indeed!!! P.S I’m not even vegan but The Vegan Joint got my heart!

Our meal was on our table very quickly. Super fresh and delicious , healthy food! I love their house fried rice and go there often just to satiate a craving for that particular dish. Service is friendly and efficient . I highly recommend for a fast healthy bite or even a cute date spot !

I’ve been coming to this place for over 12 years. I’ve been in Los Angeles for 17 and may have discovered it a few years later. The front staff has been around for a while and I truly enjoy seeing them. Summer is amazing… the hot drum sticks my fav, chicken tacos are a staple for me. I Wonton soup was my first time trying, it was very good. Can’t wait to go back and visit. I’ve seen them Change the outside and grow so much. One of my top fav places to eat. There are no drum sticks like these around town. Very unique and tasty.

The red curry was a 12/10!! So good! Also tried the chicken sandwich which was so tasty as well! The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing. Our waitress was extremely kind! Will Forsure comeback when I’m back here in town!

just love the cute little vibes here. Perfect for when you want a light meal that's healthy and packed with flavor. located in a very walkable area of palms, there's also a lot of parking all around the streets. I got the tofu tacos here and they were so bomb. Tofu was perfectly cooked and the sauces complemented it nicely. My friend got the chicken spring rolls and she really liked them. Decor and vibes here are so cute. Service was very friendly and attentive, they never let my glass of water go empty. We went on a New Year's hike so I was very thirsty ha ha ha. I've also tried the pumpkin curry here and that was really good and wholesome.

I eat here all the time. They're spicy noodle soup is my favorite, but today I took a jump into pho with my friend, and it was absolutely fantastic. The people are some of the nicest people in a restaurant you can find, at this family-owned restaurant. As a vegan, I tend to want just what I need to get by, but this place is above the rest. Please come! And maybe I'll meet you here because I come all the time!

Best Vegan Joint in the area! Everything we've ordered has always been super flavorful and always served hot. Very quaint seating outside that we always choose to sit at. Service is always pleasant and prices are reasonable. We always come here when we visit our daughter at UCLA.

I've been coming to this location for about 2years ! Lets kick this off by saying the whole entire staff is friendly and like family to me. The consistency and quality of this food is on a 10/10 rating with me. Thank you Winter for always remembering my order and always keeping a smile on your face. Amazing food and almost and endless assortment of dishes you can order from their menu. Dined in once for breakfast and take out another time for dinner. Both completely different! Let me start with the breakfast menu, we ordered the breakfast burrito, two different omelettes: one Italian sausage and create your own omelette and the pancake with chicken with tofu scramble on the side and they all blew me away, tastebuds and all! The breakfast items I use to love before I was vegan now I can enjoy again. The texture and taste of the fried chicken was phenomenal! I cry because I can't sample this again into the next time I'm in LA! For takeout night the second round we ordered chicken satay and dumplings for appetizers and Green Curry, Pad See ew, which were also super delicious and I love how everything here is Non-GMO and vegan and the versatility in making various American breakfast foods and Asian foods, different in the menu but the quality results in supreme flavors, texture and great quality food. Our server/owner was named Winter who was awesome to talk to and very accommodating and helpful in suggestions for our order and the place looked great how the interior was decorated. Great friendly service. There's nothing to hate about this place but everything you will love...and I love this place so much I want to fly back every time I get a chance just to eat here!

The meal was amazing fresh and tasty. Vegan food from this place is wonderful and the service is great. Big selection of healthy choice foods. If you eat meat they have that too. The black bean veggie burger was awesome as was the miso soup and garlic fries! I want to try everything vegan on the menu!

Yummy! I'm not a vegan but I'll always try something new! This place has some delicious meals, breakfast burritos, pancakes... and the spicy chicken drum sticks!!! ask for extra ranch! You won't regret it lol Very clean and quiet, the staff is super friendly and recognizes my friends and have you tried their dessert cakes they are a MUST!!

We checked out local hot spot The Vegan Joint to see what all the hype was about and we were pretty impressed with the menu. There was Thai, Mexican and American dishes all under one roof! You don't have to be vegan to enjoy delicious vegan food but if you are vegan this is definitely going to be a spot you'll want to come to. Honestly some of the dishes like the nachos I couldn't even taste the difference. We ordered: Papaya Salad Chicken Nachos - my favorite Crispy Vegetable Egg Rolls Pad See Ew Garlic Chicken Burger with garlic fries Hot Drumsticks Service was great. Lots of seating and free parking in the underground lot. You can access the restaurant from the parking garage.

Let me start by saying. There are plenty of empty plates around and the reason is everyone is satisfied and food. Service is touch notch and you can feel the genuine love and compassion to serve. I HIGHLY recommend you stop by and satisfy your taste buds. Great place, great service. A must try!!!

This place is a Vegan Godsend! Seriously, I've been coming to this location for 12+ years and they get better and better over time... They have a nice face lift on the place with the outdoor seating and the menu update is spectacular! The food came out looking BETTER than the menu pictures! And the flavor is 10/10! Even if you are not vegan, the food is satisfying just as great cuisine! I have eaten at vegan restaurants all around the world and it's always nice to come home to Los Angeles and have this phenomenal place waiting for me! The staff are so sweet too! Came to this local vegan place to try. The service was wonderful and great environment. We ordered the tropical pancake and omelette. They were extremely delicious, homemade, and healthy knowing that is it 100% vegan! Def recommend and we will return to try other dish as well!

What a great place for a post hike vegan breakfast! This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed my coffee with soy milk and my delicious pancakes came to our table piping hot! My friend ordered the VJ burrito with sweet potatoes and she was nice enough to share and it was flavorful! Although I came for breakfast, The Vegan Joint serves lunch items too, so we'll definitely be back. If you visit on a Sunday, you'll have a chance to enjoy the Motor Street Farmer's Market. We had a table side view of the most adorable Pet Halloween costume contest.

First time customer, and I was satisfied! Breakfast Potatoes with peppers , rich and flavorful , great portion. Grilled Vegetable Dumplings / , sauces were amazing and I enjoyed the texture of dumplings (crisped on outside, inside not mushy but soft with distinctive flavors of the veggies). The Coconut Cake was my birthday treat I would definitely order these again , and I am excited to try other menu items! Been getting the fresh spring rolls here for years! Also had the spicy soy chicken wrap, pad Thai and Thai tea are delicious! If you haven't been here you gotta try. Super nice employees and a cute little patio out front Whole menu is vegan

I've been coming to this place for like 10yrs, I've moved so I can't come as often anymore but omg, I went today and it's still just as delicious as ever! Staff is always so friendly and nice, same lady I always remember, she's so sweet! And I love their outdoor seating, lots of flowers and shade. I ordered my favorite dishes, the spring roll, pumpkin curry and a garlic chicken wrap, I usually get a burger but felt like having something a bit lighter. I also brought my friend with me and she loved it too! So glad we were in the neighborhood!

My server recommended the chow main so I went with that. I saw a photo from another yelper saying it's missing something, but I thought maybe his dish actually was missing something, and ordered it anyway. It was really light in color, almost like there's no soy sauce or hoisin sauce in it. That might very well be what was missing. It wasn't horrible, but it was pretty bland. I ended up taking it home and adding the soy and hoisin sauce and then it actually tasted the chow mein. I'd skip this item. The spring rolls were good, but the peanut sauce wasn't my favorite. The taste was okay (also a little bland for peanut sauce), and it had a weird texture, kind of gummy, instead of thick. It was almost like a gravy texture (too much thickener, not enough peanut). Weird. The service was good, and the waitress was sweet. She offered to remove the chow mein from the bill but I told her it was okay since I was planning to take it home. The food came out pretty quickly (I'm not so sure that's a good thing, given the quality of my food). The inside of the restaurant is a bit worn out but the neon signs are cute, and give it a more modern look and feel. The parking situation isn't ideal - street parking only and it's a busy area.

I was born and raised on Mentone, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from The Vegan Joint. Before Vegan Joint existed, this corner spot was a pizza spot!! One of the best East Coast pizza slices around, I miss them dearly, but since then, it has been replaced like many other original restaurants and shops on this block by The Vegan Joint, which I love as well, maybe not as much as Brooklyn Bridge Pizza slices when I was a little girl, but pretty damn near. The food is so fresh and delicious, the customer service is top notch. Homemade juices and cookies as well as ice cream. I love the curry and everything else. I've tried just about everything on the menu and everything is just so good. Very cute decor, relaxing atmosphere as well as outside seating.

Exploring vegan options in the area as my college best friend and his partner have been true vegans for years. We settled on The Vegan Joint after some time on Yelp as it was relatively local and I was pleasantly surprised. We originally wanted to try Berbere in SM but it was closed alas. I'm relatively strict on my gluten-free intake as I get some unmentionable symptoms when I do eat wheat products, etc, and I also have to minimize soy intake for the same reasons, which means often vegan food is incompatible with my eating needs. However, I'm starting to realize there's a few mushroom options on the menu and I tried the birria taco at The Vegan Joint. It was a solid 3/5, very light on the mushrooms and heavy on the hot sauce. My vegan friends rated it as some of the better tasting foods they ate during this trip to LA, but definitely not standout-worthy. Since they are strictly vegan, I took their opinions into consideration alongside my taco rating, and rated this place a 3.5/5, which puts it at better than average in my book. They ordered the kra pow, which they said tasted great and the hi-protein bowl which was a hit with my friend. The thickcut garlic fries were consumed insanely fast but only because we were hungry. The flavoring was really good but it could have been crispier. Service was great; the young lady and the lady closing the register at the end were both super friendly and checked in on our meal. 5/5 for awesome service. All in all, glad we tried it and probably would keep it in mind when looking for vegan spots again in the future. They have a cute little market with vegan ice cream and cakes that my friend went bonkers over so that was awesome.

Have I told you how beautiful this spot is? It is so cute and pretty. I am loving all green plants around the restaurant. If you go on Sunday there is a small street market selling farmer produce such as fruit, honey and plus jewelry. So on to foods omg so good and delicious. Have you tried their pancakes with banana and blueberry? It was out of this world. I added the chicken patty and it tasted so good. Of course it was tofu Chicken but it was made out of tofu. That was so cool. I loved their tofu chicken texture. The summer rolls were refreshing. I am all the borough colors. Stop by today to try their amazing food. Parking are free on the streets.

Came here today for some lunch. I had the green curry which so good and so flavorful. Staff was attentive and friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I sat outside which was so pleasant with the wind chimes and plants. For dessert, I had carrot cake with the butterfly pea tea. Both were delicious as well! This was my first time at The Vegan Joint but I'll definitely be back to try other dishes :)

The food here is excellent! Very flavorful. I've driven by many times but stopped by for the first time this morning for breakfast. Very happy with the food and the ambiance and service. Good came out quick and was nice and hot. Will definitely be coming back! Variety here is crazy too. So many options!

Been ordering from this place for years. I live down the street, but love ordering from here when I don't feel like cooking. This time around I came with a friend for bunch. Loved the tropical pancakes. Amazing! The service was great, minus the constant reminder from our server to leave a yelp review. Every time she came around she mentioned it, even when she brought our check. I normally leave reviews regardless, but it became so annoying and felt like I was being harassed to leave a review. Other than that everything is always great and tasty

Large menu selection, fresh food, good service, and a cute spot that gets better & better. Definitely try the yellow curry, the fried spring rolls, the Impossible Krik Pao, and the Chicken Dinner. Cute spot for dine-in; also great + fast for takeout. Love it here!

While visiting my sister, we wanted fries and she recommended here. I added the mushroom soup with garlic fries. The fries were great. Definitely worth it. The soup was just okay. Mushrooms weren't really the star of the dish. I'd relabel it as a lemony coconut soup with mushrooms. The two women who took my order were very friendly. It felt like it took forever to get the dishes to-go, but I was also extremely hungry, so it could have been my bias. They're doing vegan right here.

I believe I have been to all the vegan joint locations. I love the hot wings and I'm a huge fan of the chicken satay. I feel that vegan joint has the chicken with the best texture as well as taste. It tastes like curry to me. I would definitely recommend and I think it's a solid spot.

This place has been our favorite vegan restaurant in LA for many years now. We have never had a bad experience and they offer excellent service every time we visit. Highly recommend if you're into healthy, delicious, plant based dishes. My go to is the garlic chicken burger seen in the picture attached and my mom loves the pancakes and egg omelette.

This has been one of my favorite spots for a while now. Everything about this place is perfect from the service to the food, the ambience and the cleanliness. You can tell that there's a very high standard here. I don't live in the area anymore but whenever I'm around I make sure to drop by and get me a Pad Thai and a slice of the their vegan banana bread. Don't pass up on this place , you don't know what you're missing!!

Fresh and tasty vegan food in Palms! The papaya salad was yummy with a spicy kick; the chow main was surprisingly light and loaded with veggies; and the breakfast burrito was filling and bursting with flavors!

We've been coming to The Vegan Joint for many years, it's a perennial favorite. Love the chocolate chip pancakes, wonton soup, red curry and veggie wraps! Peanut sauce is delicious! Can't go wrong and the waitresses are sweet at this place.

The chicken burger is a staple in my household, we order it at least once a month and thoroughly enjoy it every time (sans pickles)! It pairs well with the garlic fries. At $14.95 on Uber eats, it's competitively priced and a great value. The alfalfa sprouts are a great touch. I will never get tired of the chicken burger and I hope it never gets taken off the menu!! When we do pick-up, the staff is very friendly and our order is always ready! I highly recommend you try the chicken burger!

This was our second time at The Vegan Joint and still loved it. My wife was craving the papaya salad that we got from the recent fair so we came. Of course we had to get the delicious vegan fried chicken. We also got the delicious spicy mint noodles. Everything was delicious and the workers were all friendly and great. And if you haven't been inside, you need to go. It's so cute inside.

Yum! I just had a delicious BBQ pulled jackfruit sandwich and fries with my favorite dipping sauce, vegenaise. The waitress was really kind and helpful. I chose to sit inside because it was so cozy, ac was on and I loved the mural.
