This is the bar inside the Driskill Hotel. The day we were there (a Sunday afternoon) they had an excellent country band playing in the corner of the bar. Beautiful historic hotel and very classy bar.

We went to the Victorian on christmas eve after having an amazing meal and experience at Van Horns steakhouse and we’re excited to see the new bar and try their cocktails. I will say they make an incredible espresso martini. It would have been even better if the bartenders acknowledged us or were even a little bit nice when serving us. They were extremely rude and rude to everyone around us as well. it was an older man and a younger woman with dark hair. It’s christmas eve, i totally get not wanting to work. Maybe they had a bad day, everyone goes thru their own stuff so i don’t judge. Just very disappointing coming from a good time to such bad attitude, slamming things & being rude to other staff and customers. I’ll chalk it up to it sucks working on christmas eve and maybe life is hard right now. Thank you for the bomb espresso martini, hope it gets better 🥲 edit: spoke to manager about the service, with no intention to have our bill comped but they said they’d be taking care of our bill (4 cocktails) which was so sweet and we left a tip with the kind server who helped us after. Then we were charged for all the drinks plus a 20% tip after the fact. so thanks i guess.

Not good vibe. The bartenders were anal. Not a good time. Thank goodness that we were with the birthday boy, otherwise we would’ve been miserable. Do not recommend. Drinks were okay…

FRAUD: Changed the top amount without my permission the next day. I did not leave a tip and they updated the credit card charge to include a large tip although I clearly did not sign that and I left 0.
