The Victorian

I visited Austin, TX in late January with my husband and his friend and I still can't get my amazing experience at the Victorian out of my head. The atmosphere was stunning; posh, warm and inviting with an old school elegance that is difficult to match. The service was impeccable. Every bartender was attentive and responsive and you could tell they took their craft very seriously and enjoyed working with each other. The pool table upstairs was a fun activity while we sipped on our incredible Paloma's and enjoyed the ambience. The next time we visit Austin, a visit to the Victorian will definitely be on our list!

Finally went to check out this spot, was such a lovely time. The place is dark and vibey, the cocktail menu is impressive and the service is prompt, friendly and energetic! Great place to check out if you’re visiting Austin! Make sure you head upstairs to play pool 🎱 I didn’t try any of the food but saw some of it and will definitely check it out next time!

I went with my friends for drinks and snacks and we absolute love the place and the staff! The girls behind the bar were super nice the whole night! I cannot wait to go back!

The staff are always very kind to me when I come in. I’m not usually a fan of cocktails but the espresso martini was delightful. The burger has my heart and soul every time, fat and juicy. I would have uploaded a photo of the burger but it never lasts long on my plate

This is the bar inside the Driskill Hotel. The day we were there (a Sunday afternoon) they had an excellent country band playing in the corner of the bar. Beautiful historic hotel and very classy bar.

I had such a perfect experience at the Victorian. My friends came to Austin from out of town and were celebrating their engagement, I had to bring them here for a one of a kind time. Our bartender, Shannon, is absolutely incredible and such a delight. She recommended some delicious bites (the deviled eggs), and made us quite literally the best Paloma and Negroni I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was so cozy, but elegant. We had a great time playing some pool upstairs after a few cocktails. I can’t thank Shannon enough for such a great experience to celebrate my friends. We will definitely be back to see her and share some more memories. Thank you!

Came in for my friend’s birthday nightcap. We were a little apprehensive since we loved the old bar (closed for now), but The Victoria definitely lives up to The Driskill’s reputation. It was a little busy for table service, so we waited a bit and ended up ordering at the bar, but the energy was still good.The upstairs pool tables are a big plus, and the whiskey selection is fairly good with a couple of Texas whiskeys and some solid local taps available, too. The warm cocktail ambiance is a nice touch, the kind of place you can hang out for a while. Thomas and the two young ladies behind the bar were super friendly and recommended the house Manhattan for the birthday boy. Overall other than wait times it’s great service, drinks and space. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Austin.

Great atmosphere. The cocktails were amazing. The bartenders gave us great advice for where to go to in the city.
