The Vine on Franklin

Beautiful ambience. Nice staff and good service. Love the setup, art, and low traffic. The perfect day to come here is on a quiet Sunday. Perfect place for dates, small group get togethers, and great conversations. The best in Clarksville. Their cappuccinos are exquisite. The only place in this area that I noticed people coming alone for a glass of wine. The Vine is the only wine bar and wine flight place in this city with a lot of future promise. The wine selections and appetizers are not the most spectacular yet satisfactory. A lot of unavailability on menu items on the two days I came there. Noticed negative reviews before I came here, yet I go by my personal experiences not others. They were low on flights of wine during the holidays. I was expecting to have a flight of white wine - my favorite. Wine bars from my former home area are plentiful and were never low on menu items especially flights of white wine. Prices are fair yet I would pay a little more if the wine was exemplary. If I needed to get out by myself for some fresh air or just wanted to read a book in privacy with a glass of wine, this is the place I would select. It is difficult to find such a place like this in Clarksville. 4.5 stars. Cheers 🥂

Great atmosphere. Our waiter I believe (Derrick) was very knowledgeable on the wine pairing for our board along with explaining what all was on our board. We will definitely be back , we had the board and bottle(grand).

Great place went yesterday with my friends to have some vine and some food. Nice place and the owners are great. When you want to treat your self for nice food and vine that's the place to go

Amazing!!! My husband and I are just elated that there is a place like this here in Clarksville now. Derek did a fabulous job as our server! We will most certainly be regulars here.

Lovely place! I love coming here while waiting for a table at another restaurant to pass time. The staff is friendly and the wine NEVER disappoints (or the food!). A friendly tip: the new, white lights ruin the ambiance of the place and I think a nice warm light would make it a lot more peaceful. The lights are a bit harsh… and I know that’s not what y’all want!! You used to have a wonderful warm, relaxing light and it was a lot more cozy (and made me want to drink more wine!!). Thanks for what you do. So happy you’re in Clarksville!

Overall The Vine On Franklin is a small little wine bar good to sit down at its quite and super comfortable and cozy furniture. There are to many lights. After sitting in there for about 20min i was getting a headache from it. It would feel more cozy if it was a little dimmer. Our waitress didn't know the menu at all and had no idea what the wines were or if they were sweet, dry, or fruity. When we order our food we didn't get to choose what we wanted on the board it was just brought out to us. The waitress also just sat at the back of the restaurant on her phone and seems like she didn't want to be there at all. Overall wasn't the best/worst experience i will definitely give this establishment another try. As of right now 2/5 stars. I have high hopes for here. I was there on 22 July 22. When i was there approximately 2 weeks ago there were no dimmers.

Hey! I finally made it to The Vine with my girls from the CA Bay Area! Although they were 2nd place on our hit list they did not disappoint. The Nebbiolo was excellent and they served it in a proper red wine glass, not a stemless plastic glass like the place we visited before our trip to the Vine. Lucas, our server was awesome and the owner was quite approachable and offered a free complimentary tasting of a different vintage that was excellent! We didn't try the food but the ambience was very inviting. I love good wine and as the only wine bar in Clarksville don't miss a chance to experience what the Vine has to offer!!

This review is based on a single visit and my rating may go up if I ever get back to this location. I stopped into this location with another and we each had a glass of wine. The server was very helpful in suggesting a wine for each of us as we had different tastes in wine. We had a pleasant conversation with the staff as they were telling us about the place and how it was renovated. There is additional seating downstairs with a view of the wine cellar, not much seating but some. Very nice decor and comfortable atmosphere, I would go back if I was in the area.

Great place for a nice quiet evening out. Our server was Lucas and he was very personable and funny. We got a bourbon flight and a red wine flight then settled for a small board with a bottle of wine. The downstairs has one seating area next to the wine cellar if you are looking for a more private experience. It was nice to switch from sitting in a crowded restaurant or bar to a more intimate relaxed setting. I would come back again, forgo the flights and get a bottle or two and a board.

We stopped through on a Saturday night. The space wasn't too crowded. We found a great spot on the couch and there was an assortment of games. We did a bourbon and sparkling wine flight. Only three of the drinks we didn't care for. The bites selection was a little sparse but we did try the charcuterie board with three cheeses and grapes. The service was a little slow. Looks like it was one floor server for the main dining area and the downstairs space. We didn't require too much attention but it was a great vibe and good music choice. Definitely a place to revisit. If you are looking for a solid glass of wine or bourbon check them out.

Enjoyed the atmosphere a nice Saturday date with my husband. Would come again, we enjoyed a charcuterie board as well, very yummy.

Love this bar. The atmosphere is excellent. The staff have all been great. Selection of wine is top. Order the charcuterie board different every time bit delicious. Well recommend for others and will go back often.

Great place with many wine options for anyone. server was knowledgeable on all wines and helped us choose the perfect glass to pair with our charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was amazing + they have many selections of foods and desserts. The atmosphere was the perfect place to just sit & relax. The downside to this place is as soon as the people before us left the owner & servers started gossiping. They continued to gossip about other guests during our entire visit, which made it a bit unpleasing. Makes me wonder what the staff had to say about myself and the guest I was with.... I understand that it can difficult at times working in the service industry & honestly as humans we all gossip at times, but some things are best kept behind closed doors or after hours. Not behind the bar while guests can hear. I really love this place due to the large wine & food options, the atmosphere, and how relaxing it can be, but it was very dissatisfying experiencing this.... I would recommend to anyone, but maybe sit away from the bar area and maybe relax on one of the comfy couches.

Felt welcoming, our waitress gave great recommendations. Oysters were fresh, charcuterie board was delicious and the wine was a perfect match. There was no music playing which was refreshing. Chairs were comfy and the work of art on the wall was a great conversation starter.

The Vine is a great place for a date or just to grab a glass of wine and an appetizer before you go to dinner at one of the many nearby local restaurants downtown. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable but not intimidating. There is a great selection of wine so you'll definitely find something you like.

Great place to unwind after a long day/week. It's a very comfortable & relaxed setting, the different seating options are awesome! We sat at the couches & enjoyed a delicious bottle of wine the owner had suggested as well as a charcuterie board to pair with it. The staff was friendly and attentive! Can't wait to return and try another wine from their list!

Absolutely loved this place. The wine selection was easily the best in town. The servers, manager, and owners were very knowledgeable about the wine selection with no pretentiousness. The charcuterie board had the best chorizo I've ever had. We sat upstairs on the comfortable couches with our group of friends with plenty of room. The next time we went we sat downstairs in the wine cellar. The ambiance was that of a much older wine cellar. It immediately made us feel wrapped in intimacy and comfort. This is THE place to go for wine and small eats! We will keep going back again and again!

Wow! Amazing atmosphere. Loved the wine selection and the simple menu of charcuterie and dessert. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.
