Not everything might be great here but that calamari is on point and has a nice bit of spice and a kick to it. And some of the other foods like it's tasty. It's actually consistent so I can't complain but make sure you get that calamari

Great atmosphere and amazing service. The food is delicious and portions are plenty. I would recommend booking ahead of time since there is usually a bit of a wait. The plates are good for singles or sharing.

This place is a coo place to to eat with family and friends. Nice for big groups. They have a huge following so it will be busy in there.I suggest when making reservations, you put your order in ahead of time so the food will come out in a timely matter. The food is good but I felt like ive had it before. The drink were made nice. Menu is short and straight yo the point.

The food was amazing and delicious. I loved the garlic noodles. The restaurant was really crowded so it took longer for the food to come out. Would recommend to book a table beforehand

Overall, the food doesn’t miss and is a great place to eat. The House Garlic Noodles were delicious. The noodles had a rich garlic flavor that didn’t feel overwhelming. However, the rib eye abit tough and hard to chew. The Saltado tasted amazing. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The fries were great but would be even better if it was slightly crispier. The Rib-bone soup was rich but also felt light. It felt very heartwarming to have and perfect for the winter time to heal your soul. The meat was soft and fell apart.

I've been several times and it never disappoints the food, the service, all exceptional. But I've noticed the last two times the portions and have gotten smaller and the prices continue to rise. I don't fault them I understand it's the cost of business. But I've always enjoyed being here just based on the quality and the ingredients that are used. Exceptional service 👏

Excellent service by Joseph. Really tasty and good quality food. Everything is full of flavor but not in an overpowering way. Garlic Butter Prawns. Garlic Noodles with Filet Mignon. Lomo Saltado with Filet Mignon. Fried Rice with Shaken Salmon. All excellent.

I’ve been coming here since 2017. Out of all the Kei Concept restaurants, this is my favorite. Parking: They’re located in a big plaza with plenty of free parking. Ambiance/Environment: My cousins and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. This place is always poppin, so there was a bit of a wait. You can place your name on the waitlist when you get there, but I recommend joining the waitlist through Yelp. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Large space and very clean. Service: Shout out to our server Long Tran! He took great care of us. But I will say, ALL the servers here are quick, efficient, and courteous. Everything we ordered: We dined for 4 in total. Between the each of us, we all shared our dishes. 1) Spicy Chicken Wontons - These wontons were flavorful and huge but wasn’t spicy. For its price, I’d prefer a couple more pieces. 2) Truffle Fries - I always order these when I visit. These are my favorite appetizers. The truffle flavor does not disappoint. 3) Bacon Brussel Sprouts - The Brussels were seared perfectly. It was topped off with a generous amount of pork sung but a few bacon pieces. We didn’t know where the egg was until we found it at the bottom after eating all the Brussels lol. 4) Chifa Fried Rice with Chicken Thigh - I ordered this. The chicken thighs were big and cooked well. The green sauce is my favorite, so I poured that everywhere. The fried rice was also delicious. 5) Saltado Shaken Fries with Filet Mignon - My cousin ordered this. I took a bite of the filet mignon with some fries. It’s exactly how I remembered it. The perfect sweet and savory dish. My cousin really enjoyed this dish. 6) House Garlic Noodles with Ribeye Steak - My partner ordered this. I noticed the garlic noodles were different. Still tasted good. The ribeye steak was cooked med rare, and it was delicious. He also drenched everything in the green sauce which gave it extra flavor. 7) House Garlic Noodles with Shaken Salmon - My other cousin ordered this. Long T. recommended to order the salmon extra crispy. I didn’t get to try this because my cousin devoured everything, so I’m assuming he really enjoyed this lol. Drinks: Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Hojicha Iced Tea, Lychee Lemonade, and Mango Dragonfruit. Each of us loved our drinks! The Viet coffee was definitely strong, not as sweet. I was afraid the hojicha was watered down, but it was surprisingly the opposite. The mango & lychee drinks were refreshing. Pricing: I noticed prices increased $$$ dramatically. Can’t blame them, especially in this inflated economy. We loved everything, so we’ll definitely come back (once in a while).

Yelp
Food was super delicious. The staff were very helpful and nice, food was delivered to the wrong table, but it was resolved immediately and professionally. Highly recommend reserving a table ahead of time :)

Yelp
The Vox Kitchen is by far my boyfriend and I's favorite spot for garlic noodles, and it never disappoints! We always order the garlic noodles--he goes for the garlic noodles with steak, and I get mine with the salmon fillet. The steak is cooked perfectly medium, and the salmon is crispy on the outside while being so tender on the inside. It's served with this amazing fish sauce that really ties everything together. Normally, I'm not a fan of salmon skin, but I actually eat it all here because it's just that crispy and delicious. We're also big fans of the Brussels sprouts with dried pork, although we always order them without the egg (personal preference--the egg is usually a bit too undercooked for us). Lately, we've been trying their Lychee Lemonade and Peachy Yuzu drinks, and both are super refreshing. The Lychee Lemonade, in particular, is our favorite--it's very similar to the one at Sup Noodle Bar if you've had that before! As for the service, it's always fast and friendly. We never feel rushed, and the staff is really attentive. The Vox Kitchen has a spacious and modern vibe with great lighting and decor, which makes it an ideal spot for a casual meal or date night. We have been here together 5+ times and they are always consistent with their food and service! If you're craving garlic noodles, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Yelp
If my chim and babacare approves, then this place is worth coming to! The pear salad and garlic noodles w ribeye was amazing! Both were very tasty and would def order again when in town! Very good service and clean place. It was interesting to see a vietnamese restaurant, full of vietnamese peeps and no one spoke Vietnamese to each other.

Rochelle S.

Yelp
Can I just say, this is by far the best garlic noodz I ever had? The congee? Perfection. Everything else? Yes. Saw this place on IG when we went to LA and checked it out. Line was long, signed up, but it was worth the wait. Customer service was 10/10. Taste is spectacular and place is cool, modern and loved the portion of the food. Mouthwash in the bathroom is a plus. Would most def come back. My fiance met the owner, he is cool too!

Yelp
I haven't been back to this restaurant in years and decided to come through on a Saturday morning. We were able to add ourselves to the waitlist on yelp so I definitely recommend doing that because the restaurant can get really busy. I believe this is one of Kei Concepts first restaurant and it does not disappoint everything on the menu from drinks to food. Dishes are very well crafted. I'd say it's a Vietnamese and Peruvian fusion. FOOD - Garlic Chicken Wings 4/5: Very garlicky and perfectly fried. - Bacon Brussel Sprouts 3/5: this dish was my least favorite. The brussels sprouts needed to have a little more char as well as the bacon. Everything was just a little too salty. - House Garlic Noodles w/ Filet Mignon 4/5: everything you would want from garlic noodles. My only complaint is that my steak was a little bit overcooked. - Saltado w/ Beef Tongue 5/5: this is their most popular dish for a reason. It's also my favorite. So good! That green sauce is chefs kiss. Tongue was also Cooked perfectly tender.

Yelp
This restaurant is in the corner of a busy lot with lots of yummy eats nearby. I tried calling to make a reservation but none were available; however, I joined the yelp waitlist and was seated within 10 minutes (On a Friday night at 1800)! The place gets super crowded, but service is very quick and efficient here. There is both inside and outside seating available (w/ heat lamps). Plenty of free parking available as well! The food was BOMB. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. Food review: Saltado with filet mignon: (10/5) I didn't get onions in mine because I'm not a fan, but this was one of the best damn dishes I have had in a while!! I got the meat cooked medium and it was so tender and flavorful. The fries were nice and crisp and the sauce was banging. I could've eaten this entire plate but had to stop myself. Garlic chicken wings: (5/5) These were way better than I expected. The chicken was juicy and the wings had a nice crisp to them. The garlic was very fresh which added so much flavor to these wings. Saigon export beer: (5/5) Never tried this before and it was super tasty and easy to drink. Mango pango: (3/5) This initially had a nice sweet flavor but I think the creaminess of the drink threw me off. Wasn't my favorite. Guava margarita: (4/5) The jalapeño infused sake was delicious! It didn't have a strong spicy bite to it. Easy to drink cocktail as well.

Yelp
I admit it: It's probably been 9 months since my last visit. Items ordered today include seafood ceviche ($18.00); calamari ($17.00); garlic butter prawns ($21.00); garlic noodles w/ filet ($24.00); rib bone soup ($24.00); berries sangria ($13.00); Saigon beer ($6.00); and hot tea ($3.00). With tax ($11.03), the ticket was $137.03 before gratuity. The good news is that the quality of the cooking--the taste profile, is the same. Based on the wait time for a table, this restaurant is as popular as ever. However, there have been some changes since my last visit. They have really streamlined the menu. All of the food selections occupy one page; all of the beverage options occupy one page. I understand the reason why this decision was made; but it's a shame a couple of items I like didn't make the cut. While waiting for my order, I sent a text to a friend informing them of the menu change--along with pictures of the new menu. Thier knee jerk reaction was to point out the price adjustments. When the food arrived, I noticed some changes to the portion served.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, love that they expanded the restaurant bigger. Everything here is always consistent from how welcoming and friendly the staff here are to the consistency of their food. Restaurant is clean, hip and modern. They have a nice selection of foods and drinks to their alcohol menu which is always delicious. Parking is huge so you won't have a hard time looking. I don't think they do reservations but you can sign in through their Yelp check in. Love this place and always a great choice when in the mode for yummy Vietnamese fusion.

Yelp
Service was amazing!!! 10000/10. It's very noisy inside and was hard to have a conversation, but the food/ drinks are yummy! Food arrives at the table fast and when you're done with a dish, someone comes to clear it right away. Would recommend.

Yelp
Woww this place is so good! Great menu featuring Vietnamese-Peruvian fusion. Bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon, but service was impressively quick as soon as we got seated. Waited maybe 30 min after we put our name down and food followed soon after. Trendy interior and the outside seating area looked really cute too! Honestly wanted to try every dish on the menu, but we ultimately decided on the garlic noodles with prawns, crab congee, and lomo saltado with filet mignon. Everything was delicious and every flavor felt intentional. The portion sizes were also very generous and we felt everything was reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food. Vox was my first experience at a Kei Concepts restaurant and the hype is well deserved. Excited to try more from them!

Valerie H.

Yelp
Vox is one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County! My go-to dishes are the garlic noodles with prawns and the Saltado with filet mignon. We tried the garlic chicken wings for the first time at this visit and they definitely did not disappoint. Each dish comes with this green cilantro sauce that is amazing. It's perfectly tangy with a bit of a kick. Our server was super attentive and frequently checked in on us. The food came out incredibly quick, but tasted freshly made. Vox is always packed, so if you plan on visiting on a weekend try to make a reservation.

Cody P.

Yelp
VOX Kitchen receives full marks from me on my recent visit. We were seated immediately on the patio area where the vibe was modern, casual, and lively. Our food came out lightning fast after we ordered. We opted for mocktails (so healthy), which were honestly just as enjoyable as their alcoholic counterparts. The Peachy Yuzu and Lychee Lemonade were both sweet and refreshing. The calamari was hot and crispy with a soft interior. My favorites of the day were the garlic noodles with ribeye and the lomo saltado with filet mignon. The garlic noodles are a classic, but I might try them with prawns next time because the ribeye was a little repetitive with the filet mignon. I loved the flavors in the lomo saltado. The fries had a touch of sweetness which I assumed was from nuoc mam and were so good. The rice was also surprisingly addicting because I kept picking at it even though I was full. Overall, I think the VOX is the perfect place for a quick lunch or casual dinner.

Mimi P.

Yelp
Super yummy food and a good experience every time I visit. Service was fast with food. It can be very packed during rush hours and weekends, so I suggest reserving for big parties. The ambiance was loud inside for a bit but seating inside vs outside can help lessen the noise. For food, I got the saltado shaken fries with garlic noodles instead of rice and chifa fried rice with chicken. The shaken fries were delicious with the dipping sauce but alone would have been too salty for me. As for the chifa fried rice, it was so savory and aromatic that I kept going for more! I would definitely come back again to try other dishes.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Great first experience I had here at Vox. Located in the plaza with plenty of other Kei concepts restaurants, this place is very packed. We got Saltado with ribeye, garlic noodles with ribeye, lychee lemonade, and seafood ceviche. Everything was delicious and flavors were spot on. Saltado - fries were crispy and the meat cooked as requested. Garlic noodles - delicious and I can just eat noodles by itself! Seafood ceviche - just right amount of tang and sweetness with surprise crunch from the corn chips. What stood out the most was service. Even though this restaurant is very crowded, our server made sure we were taken care of, he offered us cup for our togo lemonade and even refilled it!

Yelp
Vox Kitchen is the second restaurant brand created by parent company Kei Concepts in 2017 focusing on Modern Chifa cuisine. It is one of the most reviewed restaurants on Yelp in the entire Orange County and customers should expect a wait during busy weekend dinner hours. The restaurant was ranked #11 on Yelp's Top 100 US Restaurants in 2022 and #28 on Yelp's Top 100 US Restaurants in 2021. [Parking]: The restaurant shares a large private parking lot with its sister restaurants and other retail shops. However, finding a parking spot can be a bit difficult since Kei Concepts' other restaurants are also really popular. Luckily I was able to find a spot within 5 minutes of driving into the plaza. [Wait List]: Customers can check in remotely via the Yelp waitlist, but they must be within 3 miles of the restaurant to join. Alternatively, visitors can join the Yelp waitlist in person at the kiosk near the front entrance. I checked in remotely at 6:55 PM and I got a text stating our table was ready in 25 minutes. [Service & amenity]: Service was efficient and our food arrived within 10 minutes of placing the order. Outdoor dining options are available, but most guests prefer indoor seating during the chilly winter months. [Menu]: Some tables have QR codes that allow customers to view the menu on their phones, but our table didn't have one so our server provided us with physical menus. Vox Kitchen's menu is quite similar to Sup Noodle Bar's menu and Yelp's top highlight dishes like Lomo Saltado, Chicken Wings, and Garlic Noodles can be found at both restaurants. *** Garlic Chicken Wings (crispy chicken wings, pressed garlic, black pepper - $15): Hard not to love these wings as they were packed with killer garlic aroma as well as flavorful spicy mayo that was not overpowering. It was the best dish out of three our party ordered. House Garlic Noodle (organic wheat noodles, butter, garlic, parmesan, scallion - prawns $21): Served with 5 prawns & noodle was well-seasoned and above average. The prawns had a nice charred aroma. Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries (house special - steak fries, red onion, tomatoes, rice, aji sauce - filet mignon, cooked medium - $24): A solid dish with well-cooked fries and filet mignon. The dipping green sauce had a good flavor but lacked the extra punch. *** Overall Vox Kitchen offers solid and pretty delicious food, but I slightly prefer Sup Noodle Bar for its better bang for the buck thanks to unlimited noodle refills and customers can also order many of the same popular dishes. Meanwhile, NEP Cafe (another Kei Concepts sister restaurant) offers more creative twists with its menu options. Personally Vox Kitchen is still a strong 4-star especially for those looking to enjoy Modern Chifa cuisine in a trendy setting. P.S. - One of my former coworkers recommended their crab congee so I might give it a try if I visit here again.

Yelp
Vox Kitchen is a staple for me. I always make an effort to dine here whenever I am back in OC to visit family and friends. Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing and I'm so glad to see this place thrive. But there's been a few issues. Unfortunately, moving forward I will not be coming back. The rushing customer to leave after immediately finishing their meal does not sit well with me. Over the holidays, I made a reservation in advanced. We showed up 15 minutes prior to our reservation time and did not mind having to wait until it was exactly our reservation time. Once we got seated, there was no menu nor any QR code on the table for scanning. I knew exactly what I wanted to get, but the two friends I was with were trying the food for the first time. We got a dirty look from the waiter and then was rushed into ordering there and then after he found the QR code for my friends to scan. Immediately after finishing our meal, we were rushed into leaving. The waiter claimed they needed to sit the next reservation. From when we sat down, to ordering and finishing our meal, to being asked to leave... This all happened in about 1 hour. One. hour!!! It wasn't like we occupied the table for over 2-3 hours long. At first we felt bad, but when we left the premise, there wasn't even anyone on the waiting list or a line outside the door. Aside from the service, it looks like some of the food formula has changed? There are less portion per entree now and the menu does not feature any new or creative food items at all. Going to Vox or any of the Kei Concept restaurants is supposed to be a dining experience! I wanted to introduce my friends to and also catch up with them over the holidays, so I'm very disappointed that Vox did not meet that expectation. Needless to say, I'll be staying astray from Vox now and give other new restaurants in the area a try moving forward.

Yelp
Vox Kitchen in Fountain Valley delivers an outstanding Viet-fusion dining experience that deserves all five stars. The garlic noodles with prawns were absolutely incredible--perfectly cooked noodles with just the right balance of garlic and buttery richness, paired with juicy, flavorful prawns that were cooked to perfection. Every bite was a burst of delicious, bold flavors. The ambiance is inviting, modern, and lively, and the staff provides exceptional service, ensuring a memorable meal from start to finish. If you're a fan of fusion cuisine or simply love expertly crafted dishes, Vox Kitchen is a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

Linda N.

Yelp
This Vietnamese fusion restaurant deserves their 7K reviews at almost 5 stars for a reason... The ratings speak for themselves so there's not much for me to contribute, except avoid going on the weekends bc the line can get really long. Thankfully, I'm local so I like to door dash from here or go during the off hours on a weekday to avoid wait times. I've tried almost everything on the menu, but my go to is the beef rib-in soup and the filet mignon lomo saltado. The green sauce they have is literally crack and highly addicting! ITS SO GOOD! The ambiance is very modern, and relaxing if you dine-in! They also have party trays which are always a hit when I bring them to gatherings!

James V.

Yelp
First time going here and it was the best filet mignon I've had. It was so tender and juicy. The only downside I have is that this place needs bigger portions, other than that, the price isn't the worst! The garlic noodles had good flavor and the green sauce was amazing. The green sauce had nice spice and compliments the meat well. Calamari was light and crispy. I sat outside and right next to the flame pillar and it was definitely a vibe. I love it. Amazing service too

Sabrina S.

Yelp
4.5 Vietnamese + Peruvian= explosion of awesome flavors!! Sis and fam had been raving about this place...and while in town, I got the chance to experience it. Reservation was made ahead of time, and we reserved an early dinner time to beat the dinner crowd. We were seated towards the side of the restaurant, covered area. We had the best server, Long Tran. A huge shout out to him- friendly, easy going, attentive. I'm a huge fan of the aji sauce and I had asked for a bit more with my meal, he came back with more for everyone around the table and to go!!!! That's a good server right there, and service with a big happy smile. I ordered the Saltado de mariscos- Seasoned crispy fries, chunks of tomatoes, red onions, and bits of fish, calamari, shrimps. But the seafood was kinda skimp- I ate a LOTTA fries. Pls add more seafood. Plate came with rice and aji sauce. Others at the table ordered garlic beef noodles and spicy noodles with beef. All deelish! The ube cloud drink was heaven! Made with non dairy oat milk and was topped with toasted coconut flakes. More of a dessert drink..sweet and slightly heavy. Awesome service and good food! Check them out.

Arlene K.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday night @7:30ish and we were surprisingly able to get a table fast. If it's packed, the inside can get super loud and the tables are pretty close to each other. Food at Vox is always super flavorful. Proteins like pork jowl, chicken and filet mignon were tender. Garlic fans will love the garlic noodles and the calamari was light, crispy, and not too chewy. The service was good and they checked up on us a lot. When we let them know we didn't receive a dish, they brought it out as soon as they could.

Emily U.

Yelp
Love this place! The Vox offers an incredible fusion of Peruvian and (I think) Vietnamese flavors, and it works so well. The garlic noodles with lomo saltado are absolutely delicious--such a flavorful combo! Portions are big, and the prices are super affordable, making it a great value. Another standout dish is the wontons in spicy sauce. They're packed with flavor and a must-try. The drinks here are also amazing, making the experience even better. The restaurant is pretty small, but they make good use of the space. It does get busy, so I recommend going during off-hours or getting there early if you have a large group. Overall, there's something for everyone here, and I can't wait to come back!

Katie T.

Yelp
I have very fond memories of frequenting this spot with my family as a teenager and now I still enjoy this place. Vox is one of my go to spots to take any friends from out of town for a great brunch or dinner since they have delicious food and drinks. Their outdoor patio also allows dogs. And reservations can easily be made through Yelp so take advantage of that to avoid long waits at dinner rush. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it never disappoints. My favorites are the vox pear salad (with a mountain of citrusy dressed arugula on top of a whole ball of creamy burrata), the spicy wontons, and of course the lomo saltado. PRO TIP: you can sub the lomo saltado RICE for GARLIC NOODLES at no extra charge! The best of both worlds.

Eva C.

Yelp
Made a reservation ahead of time, so no wait! This plaza also has 2-3 other Kei Concepts restaurants. The food here is a cool mix of Peruvian, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Taiwanese influences. I ordered the spicy wontons since I wasn't too hungry, and they were good. Some friends thought the fried rice was a bit too salty, though. I tried a bite of the pork jowl, which was tasty, but the fries mixed in were an interesting choice. Great service and fresh food overall!

Dennis N.

Yelp
The food here is definitely a step up from your average cuisine, but I definitely there are better choices to go and eat too. My friends and I did a family style for this place, so that we can try multiple dishes which was great. The pork jowl was the star of the show for me, since the cheek provides a nice fatty taste but also surprisingly firm texture to it, complimenting the dish nicely. The filet mignon was definitely good, but for the price I think you could definitely find a better place that does it better. The salmon to us was surprisingly on the drier side that made it harder for us to enjoy. It was probably our least liked from the dishes, the sauce definitely helped the salmon a lot. The wontons were great, it's just what you expect from a wontons! Can't ever go wrong with them. The service was wonderful, the servers were very attentive to us, and even gave us some great recommendation for the drinks and the foods. The place is also pretty dimly lit and we went late at night giving it a nice warm and cozy feeling to eat at.

Judy G.

Yelp
We came to Vox for dinner and joined the waitlist when we arrived. I hadn't been here in years, so this was my first visit in a while. The wait was less than 10 minutes, and the place was packed and super busy. It looks like they've expanded the space since I was last here. Our server Carly was hilarious and really attentive. She got our garlic noodles with chicken thigh out quickly and it was made super garlicky but delicious!!! We were in and out in about 10 minutes since we just shared one dish.

James S.

Yelp
This was my second time here, and the food was just as good as the first time. Portion sizes have gotten smaller though.

Kmarie H.

Yelp
Let's wrap this year up Flavor Budz! An outing with friends and Vox is what we choose. Like most dine in spaces, Vox is chic and lively with pastel colors, intricate art pieces and they had an urban playlist coming through to set the vibe. Outside dinning is also an option and they provide heated lamps so you'll enjoy sitting outside comfortably. This isn't my first time eating here, so I came ready to crash out! I truly enjoyed my experience, my favorite dish is the garlic noodles, lykyk. I ordered the sirloin steak and added the prawns. The flavors of the garlic noodles and protein combo, chefs kiss! We also ordered the Salmon fried rice, & truffle fries. With all things considered, listen I'm from southbay and I traveled to come have dinner here. That speaks volumes in my opinion. Do you, but I would add this to my places to try list, you're welcome.

Benedict A.

Yelp
This place ceases to amaze me!! From how easy it is to make reservations online, to changing your reservation. To being seated early because we got here early! To how fast food comes out here. Its a well oiled machine here. And not to the detriment of the food either! The second you walk in here the smell of the food makes you start salivating!! I got my usual. Sotado shaken fries with the filet mignon and the noodles. Its still amazing!! Filet was super tender. Fries cooked to perfection. The flavors were out of this world. The green sauce was ridiculous. And the portion size is just crazy!! The brussel sprouts were amazing too!! Charred to perfection. Had lots of crunchy bacon. Had pork floss or yuk sung on top. As well as a sunny side up egg on the bottom. It was so good I forgot to take a picture (epic fail). Colors were popping. Visually appealing. And the taste was just amazing! Also got their pasteur drink which is a whiskey and soju with yuzu citrus. It was really good. Light. Refreshing. Alcohol hits you later on. Smooth. Just delicately balanced. Refined with the large cubed ice. It was truly balanced and refined. And it looked beautiful as well!! Definitely recommend this place!! I will definitely be coming back here again!!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Recently dined here with some friends, and we really enjoyed VOX. First, the garlic wings came with an orange sauce that was the star of the meal! We couldn't stop raving about it--definitely a must-try. I'd recommend skipping the wings and just asking for extra sauce. Now, the lychee lemonade was refreshing and delicious, with free refills and a to-go option. This drink alone deserves a whole star! On the downside, the corn was underwhelming; I wouldn't order it again. The garlic noodles, however, were fantastic--I'd happily order them again. The prawns were just okay--lacked flavor. If you're considering sides, go for noodles instead of rice; they pair much better. Despite some misses, the highlights--especially that orange sauce and lychee lemonade--made for a memorable meal. I'll be back!

Mai V.

Yelp
Vox Kitchen has the best pear salad around! It's a must-order item for me whenever I stop by here for a meal or take-out. Something about their vinaigrette makes it taste extra special, compared to pear salads of other establishments. The lychee lemonade is also another favorite of mine, a sweet refreshing drink for any occasion. I've also had the rib bone soup, crab congee, beef lomo saltado, and garlic noodles, and all were really good. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any item. Portions and prices are reasonable as well. This is a great space it's pretty popular (especially on the weekends) so you can expect longer wait times.

Andrew H.

Yelp
Came for a bit of a spontaneous weekday lunch after wanting to try this place for a while and Vox Kitchen definitely did not disappoint! Love seeing Southeast Asian fusion get elevated to new styles. On an afternoon weekday there was not much of a wait. For four moderately hungry adults we shared 4 dishes that were most popular/recommended by our waiter: Garlic Noodles, Saltado, the Pear Salad, and Chicken wings. All the food came out pretty fast and the flavors meshed well together. The Garlic Noodles, interestingly, were not overly wet or greasy but they still held up a lot of flavor. My favorite was probably the Saltado which was well-complimented by slices of Filet Mignon. The fries were crispy and practically caramelized this savory flavor--it was almost reminiscent of getting a House Lobster at a chinese restaurant that's been stir-fried in a very savory sauce. The interior was pretty cute and the service was great! I'd be back to try other dishes as the menu is pretty large.

Yelp
We celebrated my dad's birthday here and let me tell you, dinner is as good as they say. We literally ordered the entire menu with some definite favorites. They (finally!) brought back the beef tongue as a protein option for the saltado shaken fries ($23). Beef tongue is so tender and here, it gives the dish a nice texture contrast alongside the crispy fries. Absolute fire. Highly recommend ordering the beef tongue if you happen to find it on the menu. My parents love fish so we opted for the shaken salmon ($23) with our order of house garlic noodles. The garlic noodles are organic wheat noodles sautéed in butter, garlic and Parmesan scallions. Honestly, I loved the salmon - the salmon is caramelized giving it a slightly sweet after note. They leave the skin on and it's crisped to perfection. You can't go wrong with any of the protein options, but the salmon has been my favorite so far. If you order one thing from the menu, you should absolutely order the garlic butter prawns ($19). The enormous prawns are sautéed in Cajun-spiced garlic butter sauce, green onion, gochugaru, arugula + pickled onions. The prawns had a nice bouncy texture and combined with their special Cajun-spiced garlic butter sauce - this was so delightfully decadent. The pro move would be to spoon the sauce over rice. The Vox is the best place to take Asian parents who are apprehensive eaters. It's a nice introductory meal to some new flavors while maintaining some of the old.

Yelp
Food (5/5) - We ordered the prawn garlic noodles, shaken salmon fried rice, mushroom and ribeye stir fry, and shaken filet mignon saltado. Everything was well-seasoned, hot, and fresh! All the flavors blended well together and was very tasty. For drinks, we ordered the Ube cloud, peach yuzu lemonade, and Vietnamese coffee. All had intense flavor and the right amount of sweetness. Service (5/5) - We were immediately seated with no wait. The waiter was quick to take our order and made sure we were taken care of for the entirety of our stay. Ambiance (5/5) - Very nice homey vibe filled with greenery and modern furniture. Music wasn't too loud and provided a comfy eating space.

Yelp

Yelp
Cleared every plate. All four of us. The place was greatly lit, the workers were kind, and the wait time was only around 20ish minute considering that it was a weekend and in the evening. Plan ahead and reserve a table however, for I believe you can only reserve a table when you're within a 3 mile radius of the place! I got the fried rice with filet mignon. The rice tasted amazing, the softest beef I've ever had, and the green sauce MATCHED PERFECTLY since it had a tiny spicy kick to it. My friends got other dishes pictured, and they equally shared the same thoughts over the meal. The meal was around $35 with tips and taxes. However, I'd say it was worth it. Definitely would come back!

Yelp
Had this for takeout once before and came back this time to dine in, everything here is delicious! I love that you can make a reservation on yelp and they have plenty of seating available. After you order, the food comes out pretty quickly. We ordered the fried rice with seafood, the beef Saltado, the crab congee, the bone rib soup, and the garlic noodles with prawns. Seriously, everything here is delicious!! The green sauce is so good too! Come hungry and you will leave very satisfied! Can't wait until the next time I can eat here again!

Yelp
For some reason this has happened 3 times, but every time I tried to go to Ini (I know I should've made a reservation), there is always a long wait and I always decide to go to Vox instead. This has always been a staple in my family and I've always the contemporary Asian fusion here. Calamari (5/5): This is the first time I've seen it on the menu and I really liked the aioli sauce. The flavor was perfectly salted and the portion was very generous. Truffle fries (5/5): This is the staple appetizer every time I go to Vox.It has so much umami flavor and the truffle brings an elegant flavor to the fries. Garlic Noodles w/Saltado Salmon (4/5): You would have the choice of salmon either whole or sataldo style, always get the Sataldo style! I usually get the ribeye, but my party prefers salmon. The sataldo definitely added great flavor, but the salmon was still a bit dry. Kei concepts restaurants still remain unmatched in OC

Yelp
Honestly, you can never really go wrong with Vox Kitchen. They have a pretty good menu and all of the food is always super delicious. We were sat in the outdoor patio and it was SOOO cute. I liked it a lot. This time, I ordered the Beef Tongue Saltado, Beef Rib Congee, and Spicy Shrimp Wontons and all were so good. The beef tongue on the saltado was cooked very well and the congee was a bit sweet but also savory. I also ordered the hojicha tea, and all I have to say is...just get it! The biggest standout for this visit though was the customer service. Drew was our server and he did an outstanding job. He was attentive and made our experience there a really great one. Give that man a raise fr!!!!

Yelp
Come to Vox for some seriously delicious food! I tried the Garlic Noodles and Saltado both w/ Filet Mignon, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu - everything looked phenomenal. Cocktails were amazing too! Tried the coco lychee and mango pango. We sat on the side area and it was really cute, lots of greenery and pretty lights. Service was good.

Yelp
I will start off with the one negative, we got sat and did wait a while to be seen by the server. She apologized for the long wait and she was very attentive after which really made up for it. Food was amazing, and the drinks were awesome too. The place I believe has expanded in the last couple years but still gets busy. Locations is clean, chic, and modern. Great place to come on any occasion just be conscious of any lunch or dinner rushes, and try to check in on yelp to get on virtual wait list.

Yelp
I know it's going to be good if Kei Concepts is involved, and Vox Kitchen will be added to my favorite list. This is located in the Fountain Valley Town Center, at the corner of Brookhurst Street and Edinger Avenue, across the golf course. There are number of yummy eateries in here, including other Kei Concepts restaurants - INI Ristorante, KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya, and ROL Hand Roll Bar. The parking lot is fairly big, but pretty filled up as there are a lot of popular places. I came here with my friend on a Wednesday for lunch. She made reservations ahead of time at noon, and we were seated right away. The restaurant wasn't full yet. She brought her dog in a carrier so we sat in the covered patio area, and our server brought out doggy snacks for the dog. I got a mango dragonfruit tea ($7), and we ordered the Vox pear salad ($20), spicy shrimp wontons ($14), house garlic noodles with chicken thigh ($18), and "SALTADO" shaken fries with filet mignon ($22). Everything was so good! The salad was so refreshing with the Asian pear slices. The wontons obviously had a kick, but jut enough to still taste the shrimp and wonton. The garlic noodles were good, but a bit greasy and kind of the usual fare, but the chicken was nice and tender. The saltado had good flavors, and the rice pilaf was cooked perfectly - fluffy, not hard or mushy. The fries stayed crispy even after a while, but I personally like the fries that soak up the sauce. I would definitely like to come back and try other menu items like bacon brussel sprouts, elote corn, and spicy noodles.

Yelp
Awesome food, great service, and good value! Glad we found this spot - tried the garlic noodles, garlic shrimp, and a smattering of other things including the kids meals. All were awesome! Servers were attentive and place is family friendly and clean. Lychee lemonade and sodas have free refills. A great spot I will definitely come back to!

Yelp
Great quality and taste! Fast service! Fanatic portions for price and value! Everything was really good, though my favorite item on table was the Peachy Yuzu Lemonade!

Yelp
Vox is definitely one of the best spots in Orange County, but it's important to check the menu for the specific location you're planning to visit. We came here expecting to enjoy pho, only to find out that this branch didn't have it on their menu. However, we decided to try a couple of appetizers instead, and they turned out to be absolutely delicious! While it wasn't what we originally came for, the quality of the food didn't disappoint. It's always a great idea to double-check what's offered at each location, but either way, you're bound to enjoy something tasty! Service was great!

Yelp
I haven't been to Vox Kitchen in years and WOW I missed this place! Food 5/5 I decided to try something new and got the mushroom and ribeye stir fry. That sauce though!! The ribeye was so tender and the mushrooms were so good. My boyfriend got the lomo saltado and the star of the dish were the fries!! Service 5/5 Service was great! No complaints. The food came out super fast which was nice because I was hungry. Ambiance 5/5 Cute little Halloween decor but the vibes were great! Loved the open concept lay out. You get to take a peak into the kitchen. TIP: They have a Yelp waitlist but you have to be 3 miles from the restaurant in order to join.

Yelp
Chant with me: "WE LOVE VOX! WE LOVE VOX!" The garlic noodles here is so good. I've gotten it with steak. I've gotten it with salmon. Both slap. Both times I had leftovers because the portions are pretty big! Definitely can be eaten family style...but it's so good...just get your own order and take the rest to go haha! I love the noodles here so I much, I write my name in big letters on the takeout box so that no one touches it. The noodles also come with a green sauce that is so so good. My mouth is watering thinking about the food here. As for appetizers/shareables, get the filet mignon lomo saltado! The fries are soft and the meat is always tender! The spicy wontons also have my heart. It's not crazy spicy so no need to worry. Moving on to service - the employees are very friendly and are always happy to offer recommendations. This restaurant tends to be crowded most of the time on Fridays and weekends, but because they have both indoor and outdoor seating, the wait isn't too bad! From my experience, on a busy night, the longest I've waited is 35 minutes.

Yelp
This was the most magical meal we've had in a long time! It's super crowded because it's so good. We joined the waitlist on our way there. For 6 of us we ordered 2 Saltado fries, 2 Vox pear salad, Brussels sprouts, chicken garlic noodles, fried rice w/salmon, garlic chicken wings, chicken mushroom wontons and calamari plus drinks. The flavors were complex & delicious! The place was clean and even had a mouthwash canister with little cups in the bathroom. I'd never seen that before. I hope we can go again. We all loved it!

Yelp
I would describe Vox as a fancier Asian fusion restaurant. This place is own by the same establishment as Sup and Ini. It's quite popular and there was a wait but it wasn't too bad, about 30 mins for us. Service was quick and portions were decently sized. Our server was really friendly and happy to make suggestions. One of the suggestions was to order the Saltado with Pork Jowl as the filet mignon can get tough due to it being a high heat stir-fry dish. He also refilled our cucumber bowls a few times. The Pork Jowl Saltado was a solid choice. It was super savory and mouth watering. The meat was flavorful, springy and had excellent texture. The fries used were seasoned fries and the was still crispy when the dish was served. The garlic noodles were good but adding some chili crisps boosted the flavor. FYI, subbing the rice for garlic noodles was an extra $4. The rib soup was clear and full of umami. The soup contains glass noodles, poached egg, chunks of potatoes, enoki, red radish slices, onions, and 2 large ribs. On top of that, ordering this soup comes with unlimited marinated cucumbers as a side. The chili crisps and sweet soy were condiments for the soup but honestly I felt like it's not really needed. The soup was actually quite salty, though good. Always ask for more cucumbers!!! The crab congee was unique. The congee itself (before mixing it) tastes a bit like corn soup. The crab pieces had butter so the congee was mixed, it became a rich, buttery porridge. It was delicious but I personally do not care for the butter taste in my rice porridge. I felt it made the dish heavy. I think I'm just used to asian congee that is savory, light, and nourishing rather a rich dish. But this porridge did inspire me to try making a corn rice porridge one day (boil the rice with fresh sweet corn husks to get the sweet corn taste). Overall, had a fantastic time! Would definitely be down to come back to try some other dishes. Also just want to mention that I felt the dishes here tend to be on the saltier side (which is why we didn't need to use the condiments provided for the soup).
