The Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week - Eater LA

"As an obsessive cheese lover who has no intention of giving up one of the world’s best food gifts, this week’s best dish came as a bit of a shock. Yet, when traveling through Paso Robles and into the Paso Market Walk food hall for lunch, my husband gravitated towards the Vreamery Vegan Cheese Shop and Melt Bar. This plant-based sandwich and cheese shop is owned by Jennifer Golden — who initially took vegan cheese-making lessons from Venice’s Plant Food and Wine chef Matthew Kenney — launched a cottage business that’s become quite popular. In the coming months, she’ll move into a larger space thanks to demand. Golden convinced us to buy some “cheese” for the road and this smooth spread builds on herbs, flavors, and technique. Plus, there’s an added and unexpected benefit — after finishing most of the tub there’s no gut ache, just a longing for more and Golden’s crispy house-made turmeric crackers." - Eater Staff

Google
Refreshing, all-vegan menu that offers great flavor, beyond the incredible cheeses. Oh, the potato salad is the best I have ever had, bar none! Sandwich and wrap we had were bountiful, one on sourdough that tasted like the real deal. It is so important to eat healthy, and the Vreamery makes it so easy, we will be customers for life!

Google
Very helpful and friendly worker helped me to pick out cheeses to try. I really liked the truffle Brie and the balsamic bliss. I want to try more! Check this place out. It’s inside a cute multiple use space. I had my vegan cheese with a glass of wine at one of the bars. I’m headed back today to buy some cheese to take with me. Wish I lived closer so I could buy this cheese more frequently!

Google
Awesome fully vegan restaurant. We ate lunch here twice over the July 4th weekend. We ordered the Happy Ham and Smiling Salami sandwiches both times. They were excellent and so flavorful. We are definitely grabbing their cheese boxes next time and visiting a local winery.

Google
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Amazing place. Everything is excellent, the cheese, the food, the freshness, service, staff you name it. You can feel freshness of the ingredients used and the love with which it’s made. It was like home food away from home. Clean fresh and good food. Jennifer and her staff as also very nice, kind and professional. We ordered a salad between me and my partner and they went the extra mile by splitting the salad into two separate plates so that we could share. I mean come on that’s so sweet who does that. Obviously I don’t have a picture cause we finished it before I could even think of a picture.

Google
Discovering the Vreamery was a delightful surprise for my taste buds. Their vegan salami sandwich is a standout, closely mimicking the authentic flavor with a satisfying hot kick that sets it apart. While the caprese sandwich was enjoyable, the salami stole the show. The handmade potato salad was a refreshing side, perfectly balanced in flavor. Beyond the delectable offerings, the artisans running the Vreamery were not only polite but genuinely interested in feedback, reflecting their commitment to improvement. For those seeking vegan alternatives that rival the real thing, or perhaps even surpass it, the Vreamery is a must-visit. The combination of outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a culinary gem worth exploring.

Google
Delicious!! 100% plant based with gluten free options which was great for sandwiches. My sister and I got the caprese sandwich with chickpea salad for a side. It was SO GOOD!!! We also did the cheese flight and it was so good we bought 4 full cheese blocks after. So excited to order some of their products online! My sister is not vegan and she loved it. It’s really good even if you’re not plant based.

Google
I got the artichoke wrap. It's huge and very tasty. While there I had a sample of the truffle brie OMG huge truffle flavor I had to bring some home. Cute shop inside a charming eatery complex.

This is a must any time we visit or drive by Paso Robles. Everything we order is amazing but their Altruistic Artichoke sandwich is why we stop. Served hot and full of flavor. Don’t think twice. You’re welcome.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here on our business road trip from LA to Monterey!! My coworkers got the turkey sandwich, and I opted for the caprese. While we were eating, it was silent with the occasional, "oh wow". All four of us were really satisfied and impressed. The restaurant is located in a quaint food hall that was not busy when we arrived but I'm sure fills up quickly. If you're in a hurry, I would recommend ordering ahead because it's a small place with 2 staff members handling all points of business. We were late to our meeting because of this stop, but honestly none of us were upset about it and we pulled up with a charcuterie board that the rest of the team devoured. Can't wait to stop here again in the future.

Yelp
Decent food, but way, way too expensive. Salad had so little protein in it we were hungry a few minutes later. The flight of cheeses for $8 literally had a third-of-a-sugar cube-sized pieces of cheese. Sandwich was really tasty but again ... $18? Plant-based should be broadly accessible if it's really going to have any impact on the environment/welfare/etc but I came away feeling like I wasn't privileged enough...
google avatar

Oanh L.

Yelp
I can't stop thinking about the Artichoke sandwich! It is so dang good. I am not a vegan if that is worth noting. I can't wait to have that sandwich again one day. The worker helping me was also kind and sweet! She helped pack my sandwich so that it was easier to eat in the car. I am not sure what she did but it was a nice gesture lol.

Yelp
Helpful staff and great concept to try a few cheeses that you've been curious about. Loved this little vegan haven. We loved the blue cheese and the pistachio honey "goat" cheese. Everything was phenomenal. Also grabbed some homemade desserts. My favorite part was the allulose they used! Talk about win win!! Grabbed few more goodies and cake mixes for the road and for home. Dog friendly patio. Go here!
google avatar

Marti P.

Yelp
We started with a flight of vegan cheeses to taste. All of them were wonderful, the blue cheese and the manchego were absolutely amazing, full of flavor! I also got a sandwich with vegan salami that was made on fresh bread with the perfect balance of crunchy fresh vegetables and spicy mustard. We also took home some vegan bakon and "meats" What a great experience for a vegan or anyone who just loves yummy healthy food!

Yelp
"Salami" and Pepper Hack "Cheese" sandwich was excellent...whole vibe at the Lofts excellent.

Yelp
Stopped here twice, once on our way down to and then back from Santa Barbara. We tried a wrap, a salad and two different sandwiches. All of them were delicious and filling. We would have bought some cheeses to take home but had already spent the weekend oinking out. Please support vegan businesses!
google avatar

Yelp
A vegan cheese shop that you can buy per oz, or order things like sandwiches with their amazing cheeses in them. What a time to be alive. Have been here twice now and my mouth was in heaven each time. My first visit I had the Altruistic Artichoke Sandwich and made it a combo with their delicious chips and an ice tea. The second time I came, we ordered a bunch of cheeses to accompany a wine tasting in Paso Robles. More on that date in another review ;). The flavors are amazing, the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return! Best part, no sad mama cows or baby cows!!

Yelp
Hi there, I tried to send this to you on your website but it's not working. I wanted to talk about my Rebel brie cheese purchase on December 12. Please Post a contact in the comments so I can send you the receipt and photos. I ordered a full wheel because I know the cost is around $20. I did not get a full wheel. Nor did I get the same amount in ounces. Is there a way that you could send me the remaining cheese in the mail? I'm disabled and I'm not comfortable driving back-and-forth to the cheese shop frequently. Thank you for considering this request.

Yelp
If you're wary of the vegan label, I urge you to give the Vreamery a try! We've come a looooong way in the vegan world. I'm not vegan but like to eat healthier the majority of the time. The Vreamery sure makes it easier to eat deliciously and vegan! I stopped by with a friend and we split a cheese-only sampler in addition to our wraps. The cheeses were great with the stand out being the blue. If you want to slip some vegan cheese in as a gateway for your friends to try more vegan options, the blue is hardly discernible as vegan. It's a delicious blue! I got the avocado wrap. I'll be honest: as of this review, I've been back many times for this wrap. Everything in it is perfect but the real craving, the, now, addiction, is the feta. The flavor is incredible! A nice surprise is the texture: it's softer than a feta usually is, more like a goat cheese. It's absolutely delicious. Now, I don't like potato salad. Because of the Vreamery, that statement now comes with a caveat: I don't like potato salad unless it's from the Vreamery. Like the blue and the feta cheese, you'd be hard pressed to identify this as vegan unless you were told. It's delicious, creamy, herby, and flavorful. Definitely worth a try! Service has always been stellar! Located in a building shared by many other buildings, you'd expect the noise level to be loud but it's not. Should you want to go vegan but your friends want other options, everyone should be satisfied by what's under this one roof. I live 20 minutes away and make the trek and am never disappointed.

Yelp
I ordered some Prime Roots products to be shipped via an online order, since The Vreamery was the only company I could find that would ship these items. And I'm so glad to have found The Vreamery! They provided the best fulfillment of an order of perishable products I've ever received! The online ordering process was easy, the package shipped on time and arrived on time, and the products were packed perfectly within a sealed insulated bag with frozen gel packs inside, securely packaged in a sturdy box. Customer service was also quick to respond to a query, and they were very friendly as well. I highly recommend The Vreamery for mail order of the great products they offer, and hope to make it to their physical location in the future.

Yelp
We always come to the Vreamery when we are in town. Amazing food - the artichoke sandwich is amazing. Large portion on great bread, and the right amount of toppings. Their meal deal was a nice surprise too. And if you want to do a picnic, this is the place for some great vegan cheeses from all over the US. With crackers you are set to go. Staff is friendly. Parking isn't too hard with a small lot behind the building and on street out front. We always get a table outside. Lots of gluten free celiac options too. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sandwiches take a bit of time as everything is made fresh so relax and enjoy the day.

Yelp
Located within an upscale food court, this vegan cheese place blew my socks off! I got their artichoke panini, which was delicious. The service was great and learned that most of the vegan cheese is made using cashew products or in some cases almond milk. Their meat is made out of mushroom products. They have a combo option where you can add a side and drink for $5. You can sit at the communal tables outdoors or limited seating on the 2nd floor. Only removing 1 star because the portions were sort of small for the price and I wasn't quite full.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible food and fantastic service. I've been vegan for a long time and this was some of the best food I've ever had. The salami sandwich and ham sandwich were each very unique, full of flavor, and filling. The potato salad and chickpea "sea salad" sides were exceptionally good as well. The cheese plate was a whole other experience with flavors that were complex and amazing. The blue cheese, smoked cheddar, and sharp cheddar were worth the visit on their own.

Yelp
YUM!! My hubby and I stopped on our way to LA from Monterey and were SO thrilled to find The Vreamery. We had the caprese and turkey paninis, the turkey one was our fav. We had the potato salad on the side and couldn't believe it was vegan - so good and absolutely recommend! The atmosphere is really cool; it's located in a building with a number of restaurants, has indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking (street and lot). I also have to talk about the service. The owner (I think) received a delivery while we were sitting at the counter. She knew the delivery person by name and offered them food. It was so heartwarming to see! And as we left, we bought a bunch of stuff to bring to LA including some vegan cheese. We were concerned about it sitting in the car for the drive, and the team member at the counter (wish I caught her name) was kind enough to offer an ice pack! Above and beyond! We can't wait to go back and would recommend 10/10!
google avatar

Bonnie S.

Yelp
Overall, great place with LOTS of options for vegan cheese which is amazing. The wraps have so much lettuce and barely any vegan meat, cheese, or dressing - so for the price, would not recommend the wraps specifically.

Yelp
My thoughtful boyfriend booked us a tasting at Onx Winery in Tin City based on the fact that you could add a vegan charcuterie. I was totally blown away by how delicious it was, truly felt like a regular old person just enjoying some wine, meat, cheese & other sides!! We had a smoky cheddar, brie, bleu cheese, salami, mixed nuts/sweets and a to LIVE for greek style cold salad of artichoke hearts, marinated feta & olives. I WAS IN HEAVEN!! Literally each thing was better than the next. Our tasting host mentioned there was a brick and mortar location so we went there on the way out of Paso and stocked up on all the cheeses, meats and had lunch outside! My bf had the Salami sandwich which was incredible, the most perfect sized sandwich in my humble opinion, perfectly balanced and he said it was the best sandwich he's had (and he is not full vegan). I had the greek salad because I loved the greek salad on the tasting so much and it was just phenomenal. Super excited because they also ship nationwide!!! Wonderful owner, super knowledgeable and passionate, just warms my heart to see it.

Yelp
I was craving a solid lunch and I wanted to check out The Vreamery. It's a local vegan creamery with vegan cheeses from other well known businesses. They make their vegan deli meat and it was delish. I'm glad we ordered The Meal Deal at $17, which includes half a sandwich, salad, and a drink. Half a sandwich was filling and while the salad is simple, the salad dressings were great. I loved the creamy basil. The lemon dressing was also good. The bread was crunchy and not at all wimpy. I dunked my sandwich in the leftover salad dressing. A recommended move. The vegan cheeses really made the sandwich a winner. I recommend doing the tasting to check out a few of the many cheeses they have available from around the country. It's 5 for $5 for small nibbles. They sell the cheeses by the ounce as well as their deli meats. I definitely recommend the sandwiches!

Yelp
I was surprised to see a vegan cheese vendor at Paso Market Walk food court! I couldn't believe the varieties and it was a bit overwhelming to try to pick them from the counter refrigerators. I decided on four cheese gluten free grazing box. I'v had vegan cheeses from Whole Foods, but I don't think I'v ever seen this many types. I picked smoked sharp cheddar, ghost pepper, truffle Brie and black pepper blue cheese. I loved everything and the gluten free crackers were so yummy too. Even hubby enjoyed the vegan cheeses so much with his wines later on. The service was very friendly as well. I will definitely come in to get vegan cheeses whenever we are in town! I need to look for a vegan cheese shop near me!

Sarah-Jade P.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place. The selection of vegan cheeses was seemingly endless and so close in taste to the dairy cheeses. The woman, who I think is the owner, was very sweet and knowledgeable on the products! I've had a ton of vegan cheeses but the best ones were from here! The people who visited with me were not vegan and still really loved the products (enough to buy $100+ to take home afterwards!) The location is great as there are a few little drink spots in the same building.
google avatar

Jeanette R.

Yelp
I feel like a real girl again. It's been years since I've been able to eat blue cheeses, bries, and other moldy sharp goodies! You will never need to risk tummy issues again, once you try these. Texture was amazing, flavor outstanding. A little pricey, but, I get it...there's a lot of labor that goes into making these gems. I just wish I lived closer, if I did, I'd be in this place weekly picking up my fermented cashew miracles!
google avatar

Rachael L.

Yelp
Loved trying all the plant based cheese. Cool location, beautiful presentation, and tastiest cheez and sandwiches. Accommodating for gluten free, too! A must stop if you're in the area - very unique and special place to eat.
google avatar

Dettre G.

Yelp
Truly inspired in all the best ways! The owner Jennifer Gold is a wealth of information about every vegan cheese in the USA. She really knows her stuff and it's the best of the best on hand. Try the tasting plate and then select a 'cracker box' which is great doe picnic baskets. If you want to eat right away they have an epic sandwich menu and even have a gluten free bread option. I tried the caprese sandwich on the glide t free bread with the potato salad side which was mouthwateringly delicious. My fella had the vegan salami sandwich and chips which he said was excellent. They even have vegan and gluten feee deserts available such as chocolate truffles and macaroons! Best meal in along time!
google avatar

Elle T.

Yelp
I came for my first time today and ordered the smiling salami. IT WAS AMAZING! I had to order another one to eat later I liked it that much. They have so many good gluten free options and I cannot express how good the sandwich and the vegan Brie that I got. Jennifer is so kind and had so many helpful tips and suggestions. If you're looking for a good place to eat, look no further!
google avatar

Tesla T.

Yelp
Best vegan food in the county hands down. It's the only vegan place I have been to that not only tastes good but the meat and dairy substitutions do not hurt your stomach. The Vreamery does it right and I always recommend this place to everyone even if you're not vegan. They also sale all their plant based ingredients so you can make your own vegan meals at home. 12/10 I recommend the artichoke panini and the caprese panini!
google avatar

J L.

Yelp
Inside a super cute food hall, Vreamery offers a selection of vegan cheeses, sweets, deli slices and freshly made sandwiches (and a killer breakfast burrito. The baguettes are incredibly fresh, spongy and soft. We bought a salami sandwich and the caprese sandwich. The salami was the star of the show, it's served hot with pickles and mustard and it's a delight. The caprese tasted so fresh and the aged balsamic was phenomenal. Not to be outdone were the sides- potato salad and chocolate cake. And honestly it was some of the best potato salad I've ever had, same with the chocolate cake- it was moist and gooey with a decadent frosting. If you're vegan this is a MUST TRY if you're visiting Paso Robles or are lucky enough to be driving past it on the way to your destination. A++!!
google avatar

Mariza R.

Yelp
A miracle for my lactose intolerant or vegan friends. We ordered the Grazing Box, Turkey Sandwich and the Greek Sandwich. We took them for a picnic over two hours away. These were all SO good my BF wanted to drive back and order more. Now we're trying to find a logistically sound reason to go back to Paso Robles during other travels, even if it means adding travel time. Its that good! What made it so good? The gooey lush cheese on the Greek Sandwich. Everything working together perfectly on the Turkey Sandwich. The Grazing box was the ultimate "I wish I could have all of the options a normal person has but make it vegan" experience. I felt included and seen and everything was delicious! A dream come true.
google avatar

Veggie B.

Yelp
wonderful friendly staff, incredible food. We had the salami and the caprese sandwich- both were delicious. We got the potato salad and chocolate cake as sides and they were both so tasty. This is a must try for vegans. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
I went in because a friend of mine told me they had vegan cheeses, and I'm allergic to milk and coconut. I used to love cheese, and giving it up has been the hardest thing about being allergic. To be able to go in and try amazing cheeses made out of hemp and soy was just so satisfying to my soul! I went into their store in Paso. When I walked in, I saw so many types of cheese behind their display. I wanted to try them all! They have a sampler tray, and for $8 you can go in and sample 5 different types of cheese. They give you a breadboard with your samples, arranged artistically with crackers. I just can't say how much it means to me to be able to have my cheese fix every evening again. A month ago I was out of cheese yet again, and decided to go to their online store to see if ordering there would be an option. Sure enough, I did my order and got my cheese cold shipped to me in only 2 days. Before I went in, everyone including my nutritionist, who is super knowledgeable about food availability, told me that there just weren't any cheeses that were dairy free that didn't have either nuts or coconut in them. None of us had ever heard of hemp cheese. It is the most creamy bit of deliciousness you will ever eat... and they have several flavors too! I like the smoky one the best, but I also like the pepper cheese and the provolone. Check out The Vreamery. You will be glad you did!

Yelp
So you know how like when you're a vegan in a new place and then you find a vegan cheese shop... Yeah NO that NEVER happens lol... The Vreamery located inside the Paso Market Walk is a non-dairy gold mind. Aside for an assortment of creamy vegan goodness they offer plant-based meat and crackers as well both individually and in sampler packs. You can purchase any cheese they have per oz to pound at a reasonable enough price. The fig salami is super unique and the wraps and sandwiches are a must. My senses went wild when we made our way past some many other great places inside and found the castle at the end of our journey at the Vreamery next to a great wine shop. Mask are required will inside unless eating or sipping, but there is a huge patio space area with lots of seating for all the businesses inside right in front. Sometimes additional vendors are outside so you can pair your Vreamery delights with a variety of everything. Really glad I did a vegan search of places in Downtown Paso before my trip. Would absolutely stop in again as all three Vreamers on duty were very helpful and the service went off without missing a beat. Also a vast majority of items (especially the cheeses) are gluten free by default including the fig based eats and some crackers. They sell a variety of DIY cheese kits as well with unique firm/sliceables/shreddables (dill havarti, rosemary based) as well as classic styles such as smoked gouda, cheddar and parmesan. They list the base for all cheeses which is helpful for allergy or preferences.

Nehal M.

Yelp
The VREAMERY is fabulous overall, offering several varieties of sandwiches and wraps, making it a must-visit spot! They were able to customize my sandwich with the cheeses, proteins, and greens just how I wanted it - and it turned out simply delicious! I had the Chickpea protein paired with Provolone, Pepper Jack, fresh Cucumbers, and their Aioli, which brought all the flavors together perfectly. On top of that, we picked up a Four Cheese Varietal Grazing Box to take with us for wine tasting. Highly recommend The VREAMERY for their incredible food and attention to detail. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Tracy G.

Yelp
If you love chocolate cake you owe it to yourself to try theirs! . So delicious and chocolaty. No yukky mix, tastes legit!

Yelp
Doing my bit to support this vegan business. The vegan cheese plate with vegan "ham" and "salami" was delicious! Why consume milk secreted by another mammal? It's unnatural and usually full of growth hormones. Cancer prevention is far more important than the cure. My handbag in this picture is vegan (cotton) too. Yes, why not - lighter to carry and cuter than carrying a carcass around IMO. Great service (from Meghan) and ambiance! I liked the Harney and Sons bottled tea. In the heart of Central California's wine country, doing tea and vegan cheese. Works for me!
google avatar

Sandee M.

Yelp
I've gone to vegan cheese heaven! This place carries carefully curated artisan vegan cheeses from around the US. The Vreamery is a hidden gem inside a beautiful indoor market . It's a must when in Paso Robles. Or just go...like now!
google avatar

Janice J.

Yelp
So surprised to see a vegan cheese shop in Paso Robles. They even had some of my favorite vegan cheeses from Rebel Cheese. I did a mini cheese tasting and bought some 5 oz packages of cheese to take home. They taste great as is on a cracker. My favorites are the smoked Gouda, truffle Brie, and tomato herb cheese (tastes like pizza) from Rebel Cheese.

Yelp
Got hungry driving down to Santa Barbara & spotted Vreamery on Yelp. Easy to park in tiny lot, pretty quiet late afternoon on a weekend. We ordered Peaceful Pig & Artichoke sandwiches & they were absolutely delicious, toasted bread, freshly made flavorful. Lovely space shared with cute coffee, brew, wine, ramen, gelato places everything seems very shiny & new. Gorgeous plants everywhere u can buy from Gather. Clean restrooms, friendly service- great place to stop if you come through Paso Robles.

Jessica G.

Yelp
A superb selection of vegan cheese plus a variety of other foods. Vegan macarons! Bee free hot honey! Several kinds of salami! We got their house made bleu cheese--sooooo good. Plus some cheeses from other companies. I've never had vegan Muenster! Highly recommend dining in and trying the 5 cheese flight. And don't forget the sandwiches. Excellent options that showcase the cheeses with a variety of vegetables and warm panini.
google avatar

Nani B.

Yelp
My friend is allergic to dairy so I went and tried their cheeses and really enjoyed them. I decided to order them for my friend in Texas to have them shipped but the order was marked as delivered and was not. The next day UPS found the package to drop it off at her house after finding it outside another apartment. I understand it was not The Vreamery's fault that is was not delivered properly; however, their customer service was very poor. I've tried to call multiple times and have sent emails to no avail. It's unfortunate because I talked so highly of them and was ecstatic to have my friend try cheese for the first time.

Yelp
Vegan cheese? Yes please! We planned our trip to Paso Robles just to visit The Vreamery. Their sandwiches and selection of cheeses are exquisite. We absolutely loved the ash rind and Camembert bleu. My favorite sandwich was the compassionate Caprese. We ended up having two meals here - lunch and dinner.
google avatar

Esther S.

Yelp
I'm not a vegan, but this was so good! The sandwich had a "cheese" which was very impressive and I was happy with all the outdoor seating this market "walk" had. Cute location. We came here on our way to Morro Bay and it was a perfect stop for lunch especially in light of covid. Husband got the turkey which was lighter in flavor (almost bland), and I had the "piggy" which had an interesting smoky flavor, almost like smoked salmon. A plus that this is in the same location as a bunch of other establishments so we could get coffee in the same trip.
google avatar

Yelp
Caprese panini (1/2 deal), potato salad, and a GF avocado "bagel" Delicious! Very filling. Great customer service with a smile. And fresh tasting food.

Haydee C.

Yelp
Everything is great! I can't wait to go back, everything we tried was delicious, even for my non vegan family members.

Laurie E.

Yelp
This place makes/sells the best vegan cheese I've ever had. It's expensive, but well worth it.

Yelp
Great vegan food and great service!!!! It was fun cheese tasting before buying the cheese. This was a great experience and will definitely return.

B T.

Yelp
Truly excellent food and friendly service. It's a bit pricey but worth it. We stop in every time we are passing through.

Caroline G.

Yelp
Not only a large variety of vegan cheeses but also deli meats, sweets, and sandwiches. This was perfect to complement some wine tasting.

Yelp
How many great things can I say about The Vreamery! The sandwiches and salads were fabulous. The cheese selection is huge (three extensive refrigerated cases full), and the owner was so very gracious and inviting. I would take a day trip to Paso Robles just to return here for another delectable lunch.... And to restock my frig with their cheeses and plant bases "meats".

Yelp
I love that a small town like Paso Robles has a vegan creamery with lots of cheeses and sandwiches. We came here for lunch in our first day and the sandwiches were yum! We really liked the freshness of the bread and the vegan meats they made on site. Very filling and tasty. The building also has some cute stores, a bar, really good coffee spot, and a delicious bakery. Worth a stop!

Yelp
Atmosphere: Not much to say here. The Vreamery is a market stand inside a larger newer mini mall. Food: They have ready made food items like sandwiches and wraps, but we only bought market cheeses to go. The staff was extremely helpful giving me suggestions on what kind of cheese to order. I was extremely satisfied with the choices they suggested. This was my first taste of vegan artisan cheeses and I was completely over the moon. Combined with the vegan spicy chorizo they offer, it was the perfect snack to bring to wine tasting in Paso Robles. Worth every penny. The Bloody Mary Brie was my favorite!
