"Hiding in a residential neighborhood, the local tasting room for the Walls Winery offers pours of their traditional and eclectic vintages, alongside an expansive outdoor space that gives the place a laid-back Mediterranean feel. Although the Walls’ vineyard is out in Milton-Freewater’s Rocks District, one of the valley’s most celebrated AVAs, the juice is transported here to be processed on site, and sharp-eyed visitors might get a peek at the works just off the patio." - Meg van Huygen

My husband and I LOVED The Walls and their subsequent brand, Pasxa! It was such a pleasure to have time with Mary explaining the history of The Walls (hello Walla Walla prison), the different tastes depending on soil, plus the pizza was bomb! Incredibly welcoming and delicious. Would highly recommend and come back in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful tasting room! Paloma helped us for the duration of our visit. She sat us quickly and brought out the flight, including a bonus pour of the Lipstinger which was one of our favorites. Her service was excellent — she was knowledgeable and unpretentious, explaining everything thoroughly. She also anticipated our needs and provided food and water throughout our experience. The wines were an excellent variety of Walla Walla wines and we got a great sampling of what Walla Walla has to offer in the wine world. I particularly enjoyed the prominence of the Rocks District wines as they have a distinct savory flavor that the Walls has perfected! I absolutely recommend for anyone interested in wine, great ambiance and food, and excellent service.

Took 9 parents in town to watch their daughters play basketball at Whitman. We then appeared for our reservation at The Walls. The team had lost their game so some of our reservation numbers were gone. The tasting room ladies were very understanding and gracious. Most of the people were from the west side and none had been in Walla Walla before. They loved the tasting, conversation was wonderful. All staff answered questions that were understandable to all. The entire group loved the experience and the wine. Having Peter show up was an added plus to the already successful experience. Only downer was I hit a row of glasses which toppled, for which I was mortified. It did not throw the staff. THANK YOU ALL. Everyone will be back when the girls play Whitman next year!! Beth

The Paxsa Harvest Dinner was a special combination of amazing wine, food, people and ambiance. It couldn’t have been more lovely. Thanks to the team at The Walls and Passatempo for a magical evening.

If you are looking for quality wines in a beautiful tasting room accompanied by exceptional service then The Walls is definitely a must visit for you Our group of 8 was warmly welcomed by Brittnie. When I walked in, I immediately got Palm Springs vibes (a good thing!) as their interior leans towards Mid Century Modern style. They also have a beautiful outdoor area too, but I'd recommend sitting inside during the hot summer months. Brittnie directed us to a private tasting room for our larger group which was comfortable and accommodating. Brittnie was informative and gave our group plenty of time to try their wines. Not once did we feel like our group was rushed. In addition, Brittnie was super friendly and sweet. She definitely made our overall experience extremely memorable. We were even lucky to have Kyla, their hospitality manager and cheese monger give us a private tour of their production facility. Kyla was very thorough with the overall wine making process at The Walls. In addition, she was also very accommodating, friendly and provided us with an exceptional experience. All of the wines at The Walls were great. We also tried their smaller production Pasxa Wines which were exceptional in quality. If you are looking for a variety of wines from Rose, Chardonnay, Cabs, Syrah, Bordeaux style blends and more, then The Walls is a must visit. I walked out with a case of Rose, Bellamy & Curiositas Cabernet Sauvignons, Ramparts GSM, Wonderful Nightmare Tempranillo, Mahana Syrah, Martin Gold's Chardonnay and 3 bottles of their Pasxa Wines (Grenache, Mourvedre & White Blend). I love supporting smaller wineries that produce quality wines and The Walls is it. The quality of wines, impeccable hospitality and overall experience made The Walls our favorite winery of our Walla Walla trip. Highly recommend checking The Walls out! Pro Tip: Make a reservation on their website to guarantee a fantastic experience Tasting Fees $35 for The Walls Current Release Tasting (Fee waived with $75 purchase) $35 for the Pasxa Tasting (Fee waived with $75 purchase) $70 for both The Walls & Pasxa Tasting (Fee waived with $150 purchase)

My mother-in-law and I recently attended a Harvest Lunch for a girl's date, and we had such a wonderful time! It was a unique experience to hang out on the crush pad, and the food was delicious. The staff truly made the day special – Danielle, Andrea, and Taylor were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
