I stayed here when I was homeless and I have to say that they encouraged me to turn my life around and be more proactive in finding work. I'm proud to say that I am a success story and a VERY successful Security Officer given a second chance in life through their guidance.

Yes the real reason I’m wrighting is because I can’t find an email adress for the Watson new you’re. My question is Do your security staff still attack inocent photographers out on the sidewalk or have they learned the law n constitution yet?

Avoid this place! Infested by MICE! They were in my daughters room, we have them on tape! Simply disgusting! We left immediately! Staff was very rude also! Do not come here, really, you'll regret it for sure!

This is a Homeless Shelter subsidized by the City at close to $360/room/night. Unsafe conditions have resulted from its presence with scores of violent felons departing here and mugging people in Central Park. Obviously unless you are a desperate migrant you would never consider staying here. Pressure is increasing to shut this menace down. The owner is Issac Hera of Yellowstone Real Estate Investments.

This place gives off creepy vibes with the South American gangster-looking folks who act tough and intimidating to strangers. I always hesitate to walk this block and cross the street or avoid this part of W57th street. Those guys shouldn’t be anywhere in NYC if they want to behave like wild animals and openly smoking weed like it is a 3rd world ghetto. Definitely lowers the value of whatever is going on for W57th street

Check in was easy and pleasant. The hotel lobby is very modern and attractive. The rest of the hotel is very old and out dated and in much need of repair. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room but that was about it. The room itself was old and looked very dirty. There were stains all over the walls. All of the furniture was banged up and damaged. For the price we paid we could have stayed at a much nicer hotel. The one bonus of course is the roof top pool!

Love the roof top. The rooms were good but not excellent of course. Actually used the roof top another time when we did not stay in the hotel. Used to walk down to Whole foods and buy breakfast and eat it at the roof top.

Made our reservations the last minute and had no problems getting a room. Did the reservations online, and it was super easy. Very friendly staff, and very clean place. When registering in, we were greeted with a smile and kindness. Our housekeeper Vera was very pleasant and even left us a few extras. We ate in the Skylight Lounge two nights, and in the Gotham Cafe for breakfast one morning. The staff was very pleasant and the food was excellent. I really feel that for what we had to eat, the prices were very reasonable and the portions were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Had a pleasant stay before we had to catch our cruise.

Yelp
2 for $5 chicken tacos and $8 Margaritas brought me in... they were actually good too but the service was so-so. I just told myself it could have been a bad day or something, who knows. I wasn't there long so it didn't make or break my experience. Its typical hotel bar vibes so I cant really comment, honestly. It was just a stop spot so I really didn't rate it too tough. Its a weird layout so I dont know if i would even want to be there too long anyway - respectfully of course.

Yelp
Chill place. The bartenders are pretty cool as well. Received food fast and good prices for NYC. iPad games at the bar to pass the time.

Yelp
Walked in for a quick bite. Chicken quesadillas were pretty good, filled me up more than i expected. Long Island Mojito was soooo good! Bartender suggested it so why not?? It was fairly early and it was pretty much empty but the food was good. My friend had a very bad interaction with the hotel security. He was very rude and disrespectful to her, that is unacceptable for a customer to experience such bad service from the hotel staff. I doubt i will come back here again. Telling a customer "don't play with me" is unnecessary. My friend was not at all rude. I was very disappointed.

Yelp
Just walking through the city and I saw a classy lively atmosphere at this hotel lounge. I decided to go in and was greeted with superb hospitality by the bartender Benjamin and Matt. The manhattan I had was perfect. I will be back again.

Yelp
If you don't sit at the bar at this place you simply don't exist. Best thing about this place is I could take my beer up to my room. I waited for 20 mins on a refill of water and it wasn't the only thing I even ordered. The prices are fair but the service could use some a whole lot of improvement. I've experienced better hotel bars.

Yelp
Okay, let's face it--Manhattan is expensive. And Sunday happy hours are rare. Of course, an $8 cocktail sounds like a deal. Until you come here. I ordered one of the cocktails on their menu, and they were out of two ingredients. My wife ordered a smoked whiskey drink, and it could have been syrup on waffles--it was that sweet. Our neighbor ordered a vodka tonic, and she was told they were out of limes. How does a bar run out of limes? Or if they do, go to the fruit cart a block away. Or the grocery two blocks away. This place has the notable distinction of being my worst cocktail experience in over 10 years. Just say no.

Yelp
Awful.. They don't deserve the 15% service charge when waiting over an hour for some half ass food worse then the worst wedding food you ever ate. Load fries were saturated in Fake Cheese Wiz. Requested medium rare burger which as dry as a hockey puck. Requested a cocktail which was awful asked for it to be switched for something else. That something else cocktail never arrived. Incompetent servers.

Peg M.

Yelp
Had drinks and a cheese platter last night. And enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks to Jocelin. She she took care of everything we needed while keeping the whole place running smoothly. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
The bartender Charlie was phenomenal and run all over the place by his bar manager... who was dressed in booty shorts- WTF... while she doted on one table the entire time we were there. The drinks were great, the food, on the other hand left much to be desired. Dry chicken, dry BBQ burger which had no BBQ sauce. In the end the manager made it right and refunded for the food that wasn't good, but not before telling the bartender... who had a full bar, we were at a table, that he was bad at his job. I was appalled and both myself and another person in the party made sure he knew he was appreciated by tipping him directly.
