"This uptown spot is quirky and artistic—perfect for those who gather inspiration from their surroundings. Coffee is sourced from local roaster Corvus and the tea selection is extensive. Breakfast and lunch items will help you fuel up and finish your work." - Jessie Levine, Paul Albani-Burgio

Great coffee! Love the vibe and love the location! The breakfast burrito was great but if it was made in house and not frozen it would have been ever better! The atmosphere was great and I loved the little shop they had too! Overall definitely recommend!

Google
Cozy place. Very home-like type aesthetic. Not cramped, but not wide open space as if you were in a school cafeteria. There is an upstairs portion that leads to a balcony, but since they close at 3pm I can't imagine you ever get to enjoy a nighttime view. The coffee I had was absolutely amazing. I can't say what it was because I don't remember what she gave me only because I asked if they just make me something complete random. I will say it was absolutely amazing, though. The staff here are amazing. I felt very welcome, and not rushed by any means. They made me feel it was okay to stay as long as I'd like. I will be going back. I gave the food only 4-Stars because the breakfast burrito I got for the cost of $6.75 was a bit small. In my opinion, just a little bit too over-priced.

Google
Cute and charming little spot Just think that their breakfast sandwich has nothing special and its overpriced The coffee was great and foamy

Google
Liked the cute shop and cool things you can purchase inside. Sandwich was good. The matcha cold drink was delicious. Found the staff a little blunt when I went to return my plate and didn’t see the sign. They spoke at me like I was an idiot for not seeing the sign, but I have just never been before and it was tucked away around the side. I of course put it away properly but just found the way they asked obnoxious.

Google
The Breakfast Burrito was surprisingly tasty for being mostly egg. The salsa with it was delicious. We had the rhubarb melt and it was insanely good as well. I loved the cozy quaint atmosphere and appreciated both the inside and outside seating options. If I was local I’d definitely be a frequent visitor

Emily Tucker

Google
Good coffee, friendly staff, great atmosphere! Got the TLT (vegan BLT) and it was tasty, served on ciabatta bread. Small inside but the outside patio is super cute.

Theresa Schultz

Google
This coffee shop serves an extraordinary espresso while also exuding kindness and intimacy. Every single person who works here has been exceedingly courteous and informative. Their seasonal drinks always SLAY, so make sure you ask if there are currently any specials on the menu!

Google
Atmosphere would have been a 5 for me if it weren't for all the signs asking you not to stay 😆. I mean, I get it. It's just like, I could almost feel the hand on my back gently pushing. It reached a point of hilarity for me, with the cross stitch. LOVED the canbric tea. 🥰

Yelp
Eccentric, tiny, and relaxed. No wi-fi, which I think is great -- it feels like an off-grid lifestyle destination. Also, splashes of rural Colorado here & there that remind me of summer vacations on my grandparent's mid-century ranch. The well-pierced staff is authentically friendly, with a proud cohesion in their workflow. Good vibes and respect.

Julie R.

Yelp
Today was a girl outing and this was our first stop and, damn girl, you did not disappoint! The exterior is charming with a decent amount of outdoor seating. The baristas all had a cool, edgy, throwback look and were the sweetest. The drink menu has something for everyone with homemade syrups that were rich, not overly sugary. My friend had an orange clove latte and I had the campfire latte, both served in kitschy mugs. They were well balanced with flavors that didn't drown out the church espresso. We didn't have at here but we'll be back!! There's a strawberry and rhubarb jam and Brie sandwich that had my name on it.

Cait Z.

Yelp
I love stopping by the Weathervane for a lavender oat milk latte & their berry chèvre sandwich! They not only have great indoor and outdoor seating, but a very cute gift section as well!

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Hey - no one bribes me - these 5 star reviews are from the heart. The Weathervane rocks, I wish there were one where I live (near SF). Food & drinks are creative and tasty, servers are nice, vibe is mellow. And to those reviewers who have a problem with "no WiFi" (as prominently posted) - try a Starbucks ;-)

Dana W.

Yelp
Great local coffee shop. There is no WiFi so be prepared if you intended on working. Otherwise, would go back but the no WiFi is definitely a bummer.

Brooke G.

Yelp
If you're looking for a top-notch coffee shop in Denver, I highly recommend checking out this gem. Whether you're on your way to City Park or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of joe, this place is the perfect spot. The vintage decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with your drink. Speaking of drinks, if you're an espresso fan, you have to try the Happy Camper latte. And don't forget about the food - the breakfast sandwich with herby mayo is a must-try.

Annette T.

Yelp
Super cute cafe! Looks like it's built from an old house, so it's very cozy. It's got an upstairs seating area that makes you feel like you've been invited over for tea by a friend with an old soul. My partner got a coffee and we shared a breakfast burrito (not bad) and a cronut (SO GOOD). I saw the sandwiches other people ordered and they looked delicious, so I guess I'll have to come back for those.

Emma A.

Yelp
The Weathervane Cafe is a small, unpretentious cafe situated on a residential street. There are a couple of tables outside with umbrellas, perhaps some seating inside. I had a cold brew and TLT. I'm still thinking about the vegan sandwich. The tempeh was marinated well and was flavorful without being overly salty Great service and cute setting

Christina M.

Yelp
Supply yummy and great pickup service - only suggestion would be to offer utensils. The flavor and ambiance were nice though.

sandy b.

Yelp
Friendly local spot with indoor or outdoor seating with umbrellas. Each time in town I stop for their specialty drink or lavender lemonade. There are various lil food and gift items for purchase too.

Maura S.

Yelp
Weathervane is a great cozy little coffee spot nestled back into the City Park West neighborhood. Built into an old house, you'll feel right at home when you stop by for coffee or a bite! Every time I go here, I hear people around me rave about their sandwiches. I have yet to try one, but the descriptions alone make my mouth water. I have my eye on the Ham and Berry Chèvre . The coffee drinks at Weathervane are mostly classics with a couple twists. They have a seasonal drink right now called the Happy Camper that has Smokey maple syrup in it and I definitely recommend. They are always busy when I'm in on weekend mornings but the staff manage to get the drink orders out quite quickly even with the millions of customized milk options they offer - AND they are always so kind! I always enjoy a nice sit on Weathervane's patio on a Saturday morning and I'm looking forward to next time I get to stop by.

Heather B.

Yelp
Really cute and quaint coffee shop. The baristas were super friendly and the menu was extensive. Not the biggest shop to work from, but definitely a place to stop by for a good latte.

Caroline N.

Yelp
Overall, I think this restaurant is a bit overrated. I had the breakfast sandwich which is just an egg with some spinach and cheese on a hamburger bun that's placed in a Panini press. The only positive is the chai latte which is pretty good. For future reference this place is not wheelchair or stroller friendly If eating outside, be mindful of the location as it attracts a lot of homeless people who come up to you asking for money

Chris K.

Yelp
Great coffee shop with an old timesey feel. The coffee was fresh and clean with the service at a high

Kristie C.

Yelp
Cozy interior, great drinks, I loved the rooftop area where you can just lounge from above. City Park is also close by so this is great place to grab coffee and go for a walk in the park.

Jerry O.

Yelp
Love coffee? Then you'll love Weathervane Cafe. We stopped in for oat milk lattes and they were delicious. Great coffee flavor. This cafe offers much more than coffee - none of which we have tried. So, maybe another day.

Erin L.

Yelp
Their golden milk latte and breakfast sandwich with tempeh bacon are amazing! We had a group of 5 and we all got a drink and food item and there wasn't a super long wait. There's a couple tables inside and a few outside also.

Daryl G.

Yelp
First time here, we found parking on the street. I'm a decaf drinker and they happily had that as an option along with all the alternative milks. Really love the vibe. They have an area for pickup for order ahead, but i wasn't sure how you did that. Delicious coffee and chill vibe. Food looked super tasty as well. Service was great as well.

Dorothy H.

Yelp
I absolutely love this little gem! They have great coffee, great teas..and really good food. What I love, is that you can get vegan, veggie's or not! And you won't be disappointed

Vivian C.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and it's definitely a tiny cozy place to enjoy coffee! Doesn't seem to have wifi but this is definitely a good place to enjoy chatting with friends while sipping on some good coffee. I enjoyed their breakfast burrito! Extremely fresh. My friend got a breakfast sandwich which she said was even better than the coffee. Great place!

Pamela M.

Yelp
website says that they are open until 3 o'clock arrived at 2:46 and they said that they could not make any sandwiches because they don't make sandwiches after 245 so very disappointed we would've called in an order or looked on the website for these strict times very very disappointed in the customer service! Most businesses would welcome another order for food, especially if they say they are open till three wondering if upper management or owners know that this is what their employees are doing

Christopher W.

Yelp
First time in right this moment. Really very good experience! Super cozy and warm welcoming vibe. The highlight was the amazing Denver turkey sandwich. Everything about it was awesome, crispy warmed bread with soft chewy center, crispy lightly salt, peppered and dill cucumbers; and the pickled onions really brought a fantastic tangy flavor! I could easily have two of these things, but the serving size was perfectly and responsibly adequate. Cappuccino was also very good and service in very cute cup with saucer. Recommend and would return!

Mary P.

Yelp
A cute local looking cafe where you can relax mostly outdoors and enjoy a delicious brew. The immediate outdoor space feels kind of like you're on your patio enjoying the morning sunshine. The sun can been intense in the heat of it all. I had a standard Americano and it was not too bitter and perked me right up.

Hailee C.

Yelp
Good ol' Weathervane. First, you should know, they don't like campers. As in people who sit for hours and hours on their laptop or reading a book. Sad. So it is a place to stay for an hour or so and head out. That's my little disclosure. I fell in love with their chai latte which is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. I drank it all fall while listening to Hozier and maybe that wasn't good for my ego. I also love their brie melt sandwich. I think it changes seasonally but for a long time they had some kind of mango habanero chutney. That chutney, with the melty gooey brie, and the crispy bread (which has become my favorite panini bread) is unbelievably scrumptious. Like I'm thinking about going there soon and getting one. Also the Cubano here was unmatched. It's weird because you wouldn't think a place like this would raise my standards for a Cubano. It's a toss up between the Cubano and the brie melt. Con The side of cucumbers or chips included with a sandwich is never enough. I swear sometimes they count out six chips and that's all you get. I'm so sorry but I was raised by American restaurant standards and to me, personally, I need BIG servings. I realize I may be the problem (It's me. Hi. iykyk) but please I beg you, Weathervane, if you're reading this please give the people more cucumbers and chips!!!! They balance the panini.

Isabella C.

Yelp
The type of spot I want to bring everyone. Staff are very kind and both the interior and exterior spaces are very pleasant. It's also in a quiet area for those who want to sit outside and not hear a bunch of traffic. Great tea options too for people like me who aren't super into coffee.

Sabine C.

Yelp
This place is one of our favorites for coffee and breakfast! Their breakfast sandwich is really good! The spicy aioli is incredible! Their coffee is yummy and their lunch sandwiches are also super yummy! The inside of the store is also so cute with lots of fun trinkets and gifts!

Angela C.

Yelp
Super cute and cozy cafe. Excellent drink and food selection. More for meeting up with a friend or cute day date spot . They don't offer WiFi, so I wouldn't head here if you're trying to do work work .

Emily C.

Yelp
One of the coziest and most homey coffee shops around! The Weathervane Cafe is conveniently located between Uptown and City Park West. I stopped in and ordered a 16 oz Cambric with Earl Grey ($3.65). I was worried it would be too sweet so I asked for only half sweet -- next time I would probably go with no sweet at all -- but it was still yummy! Weathervane has a relatively extensive food menu as well. I placed my order in person, but if you are in a rush, I would recommend placing an order ahead of time online, as I did have a 10-15 minute wait for my drink to be ready. The baristas were amazing and the atmosphere is very comfortable!

Austin K.

Yelp
I got the dandy latte, which is a decaf daisy/barley drink ($4.25). I don't drink coffee, so I was a bit thrown off at the stronger roasted taste of the drink, but I quickly grew to really like it! I'd come back just for this even though it's a bit out of the way. Additionally, they have other cool drinks like milk steamers (cambric) for any tea that you pick, which opens up such a wide world of options for a non-coffee drinker like me.

Mindy D.

Yelp
My husband said their iced coffee is the best he has ever had and I loved their matcha chia coconut pudding

Steve M.

Yelp
old fashioned comfortable spot with super nice employees, healthy and tasty food offerings, excellent coffee and espresso drinks. they get their beans from two denver roasters - queen city and huckleberry. huge choice of house made flavorings like lavender, orange clove, caramel, vanilla, and maple brown sugar. They have a commendable menu of salads, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast delights. good tunes. selection of ween was on downstairs and cpr jazz station on the radio upstairs. they have a rare outdoor balcony upstairs and several other rooms. big outdoor spaces in front on the ground floor. the cafe has no wifi because of limited capacity. definitely worth a stop on a tour of denver's top tier third wave shops.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee/tea, SO cozy inside. Love this little hidden gem

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Why does this place have to be so good. I like starting my day out walking my puppers and picking up a coffee here. I love that I can order ahead so my drink is ready when I get there. Service is always friendly and the coffee is top-notch. The pastries are delish too. They also sell small gifts and local food items. I just wish they were open past 3pm some days for selfish reasons. Get the smoked maple syrup in your cold brew. You won't regret it.

Mary Jane C.

Yelp
Just the thought of their cinnamon rolls makes my stomach flutter. Once I think their cinnamon roll bun is perfect in every way, I come back again and they make it a cinnamon roll that has an croissant outer layer. There's a reason why they sell out before noon. Dandy lattes - I can't get enough of this AND it's non-caffeinated. It feels light and buttery in my mouth. Doesn't taste like tea even though it's a dandelion and barley latte. Pumpkin cream cheese muffin - moist as it should be. Light pumpkin flavor. Covid-19: Hand sanitizer's available. Masks required by everyone. Social distancing encouraged with stickers on the floor marking standing spot. I noticed a lot of people wait outside while their orders are getting prepared.

Lara B.

Yelp
Love this spot so much. I love hanging downstairs not upstairs. The sandwiches are alarmingly delicious, great fancy coffee drinks and waaaay too many cute things to purchase

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
I am new to Denver, and this cafe is incredible! One of the best I've tried so far! The staff is very friendly and conversational and made me feel right at home. The decorations and vibe is so cute, I cannot wait to come back again!!!!

A F.

Yelp
I ordered the iced vanilla latte and a sandwich with cucumbers, and it was all so delicious. The coffee had a perfect taste, not too bitter or sweet, but just right. And the sandwich was very big and filling and very yummy. There isn't really room to sit and when you walk upstairs you'll mostly find kids studying so it's very quiet and awkward. But other than the seating it was great.

Brenna C.

Yelp
I have been eying this place for awhile and stopped in for a to-go order. the gist: this is a cute place for breakfast, lunch, and pastries. The food is really high quality, tasted very fresh, and had wonderful flavor. I will definitely and 10/10 recommend for breakfast and/or coffee and a treat! I put in an online order and picked it up about 10 minutes later! I ordered the breakfast sandwich. It comes with choice of bread, eggs, cheese, and greens. There are several options for add ons but I chose ham, tomato, and sriracha aioli. The bread was so toasty, the cheese was melty, and the tomato added a fresh kick. I also ordered a pumpkin tart with some frosting. The pastry was nice and flaky and there was a substantial amount of pumpkin filling. It was the perfect compliment to my morning coffee. Overall, this place is wonderful, and I can't wait to be be back!

Chelsea D.

Yelp
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! I'm a fan of unique flavored lattes, and this place always delivers. The Happy Camper and the The Velvet Rose Latte are some of my favorites! I also love their commitment to the health and safety of their staff and customers. I appreciate that they abide by CDC guidelines and the fact that they haven't had a staff breakout is a testament to the fact that the extra steps they are taking is working! Speaking of The Velvet Rose Latte....can't wait for you guys to bring it back! ;)

Joanie W.

Yelp
Delicious oat milk latte. Got the carrot cake oat meal- it was a little sweet for the day-to-day, but lovely as a breakfast treat :) Their merch was also very well curated. Cute small space. Was a bit disappointed they were out of GF bread when I visited, but hopefully they will have it next time!

Eilen S.

Yelp
Waited to come to this place twice to write a proper review. My first time here I came around 11 and they were out of most breakfast items, I also had a plain iced coffee which was a bit lukewarm. However my second time there we came a little earlier and were able to get breakfast sandwiches (they were still out of burritos). The food was delicious: tasted fresh and home made. The cinnamon roll was THE BESTTTTT (get it warmed up) I also got a vanilla latte (iced) and it was perfectly deliciously made! But the absolute best part about this place are the vibes! Such a cute spot in a cute little neighborhood. It honestly makes me want to move to this area to have this be my local coffee shop. The staff and the customers were all so nice to each other - just good vibes all around.

Claire P.

Yelp
I ordered a sandwich and it was rather soggy. The customer service was subpar. Not much parking available either.

Vy T.

Yelp
Just the cutest little local cafe in Denver! We stopped by quickly for a quick togo coffees and something light to munch on before we drove out to Rocky Mountain and it was just what we needed. Great service, coffee made just how I ordered it. And the breakfast sandwich was easy but delicious! Just overall a positive experience, super cute and homey vibes.

Claire S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. Friendly staff and quaint, adorable location. Coffee is good too, not amazing ...but good! The lunch items are phenomenal though and that's the reason you should go.

Alicia T.

Yelp
Like a visit to your stylish, quirky grandmother's house, if your grandma also happens to make the city's most delectable vanilla latte and cinnamon rolls. This place is bursting with character and the staff are the nicest folks around! They also have the cutest merch! Perfect atmosphere for a cozy catch-up with a friend.

GrapeNelly ..

Yelp
Unique, small place. A house made coffee shop. Customer service is amazing, I felt less like a customer and more like an old friend although I never met any of the staff until I came in looking for breakfast and some wifi. There was no wifi but there is a great menu for a small coffee shop. Upstairs seating. Vintage furniture. Great location. Experienced baristas. I'd come again if I lived here in Colorado

Jen B.

Yelp
Super cute little shop with delicious coffee and food. Syrups are flavorful. Staff is friendly. Gluten free options. Little gift / trinket section with reusable mugs. There is an upstairs area to hang out and you can have dogs outside.

Mercedez B.

Yelp
this cafe is the cutest and coziest place everrrr. my girlfriend and I had lots of homework to do and this was a chill environment to get down to business while eating a delicious sandwich and sipping on some creamy, flavorful coffee. the workers in this place were very welcoming and extremely kind and cute. I would definitely recommend the Italian turkey sandwich- the pesto was one of the best I've had, and the flavors were well balanced. We also got a vanilla latte which was *chefs kiss* we will definitely be returning to this coffee shop soon :))

Danielle E.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Amazing food and drinks/coffee. Highly recommend to anyone in Denver.

Lori D.

Yelp
Fun environment friendly service. Worth seeing all items to purchase. Any hot or cold drink. Would go back again when in Denver!
