The Wee Sister - Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"At The Wee Sister, glasses of crémant are placed in front of excited couples who are kicking off their evening with a glass of something fizzy before heading next door to to Myrtle, its excellent fine dining restaurant sibling. And regulars roll in off the King’s Road, shouting a greeting towards the bar and choosing a stool beside the big picture window, while pints of Guinness are poured without them needing to ask. The tasty bar snacks at The Wee Sister are a cut above your average pub: hand-cut crisps (salted to your preference), chorizo-wrapped cheese and pickles, and Gubeen cheese mousse with brown bread crackers. It’s not just the snacks that have an Irish lilt, there’s a focus on Irish winemakers too. photo credit: Sinéad Cranna" - Sinéad Cranna

Lovely evening at the Wee Sister - highly recommend the Anna Haugh Chardonnay and rosé! Ian the barman was fabulous and we loved our Clonakilty sausages and Irish soda bread with burnt ends. Authentic, warm Irish hospitality at its best in London!

Thank you for a great evening at The Wee Sister, we really enjoyed the Guinness and the deliciously smooth crémant. The selection of bar snacks and small plates the bar manager prepared for us were very tasty, (especially the home baked soda bread) all from Irish sourced produce. A lovely atmosphere-we will be back.

Had such a lovely evening here. Delicious nibbles 100% worth getting. A good pint of Guinness and a lovely glass of white wine! Very happy staff and cool interiors. Music top notch too!

I had a wonderful time at The Wee Sister, an Irish bar with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The bartender was super helpful and recommended a drink I absolutely loved. We enjoyed it so much that we came back after our meal to continue the evening. I’d definitely recommend this spot for its great drinks and warm, welcoming vibe.

Great to taste some Irish appetisers! Definitely a must before going to Myrtle's, just a bit hot inside is all but great nibbles.

Nice enough place I guess but I was quite surprised at being charged £18 for a "large" glass of white wine. A friend who joined me later was only charged £16 for a pint of Guinness and a regular glass of white wine. 🤔

If the web site states the wine bar is open from 12.00 why wasn’t it open at 1510. In fairness the staff did open for us but the place was untidy apparently after a private party on Saturday. However we went on Tuesday! The staff were washing the floors as we sat drinking our wine. The hand drier in the loo doesn’t operate. Not what we expected from you Anna - disappointed as we have eaten at Myrtle and wanted to support your new venture.

Brilliant wine bar with excellent food. We tried one white and one red, both delicious and far above my usual expectations. The food was great - highly recommend the oysters and the soup, and intend to return to try the lentils and beef. A total gem, and a lovely atmosphere.
