The Wee Sister - Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"At The Wee Sister, glasses of crémant are placed in front of excited couples who are kicking off their evening with a glass of something fizzy before heading next door to to Myrtle, its excellent fine dining restaurant sibling. And regulars roll in off the King’s Road, shouting a greeting towards the bar and choosing a stool beside the big picture window, while pints of Guinness are poured without them needing to ask. The tasty bar snacks at The Wee Sister are a cut above your average pub: hand-cut crisps (salted to your preference), chorizo-wrapped cheese and pickles, and Gubeen cheese mousse with brown bread crackers. It’s not just the snacks that have an Irish lilt, there’s a focus on Irish winemakers too. photo credit: Sinéad Cranna" - Sinéad Cranna

Had such a lovely evening here. Delicious nibbles 100% worth getting. A good pint of Guinness and a lovely glass of white wine! Very happy staff and cool interiors. Music top notch too!

If the web site states the wine bar is open from 12.00 why wasn’t it open at 1510. In fairness the staff did open for us but the place was untidy apparently after a private party on Saturday. However we went on Tuesday! The staff were washing the floors as we sat drinking our wine. The hand drier in the loo doesn’t operate. Not what we expected from you Anna - disappointed as we have eaten at Myrtle and wanted to support your new venture.

Brilliant wine bar with excellent food. We tried one white and one red, both delicious and far above my usual expectations. The food was great - highly recommend the oysters and the soup, and intend to return to try the lentils and beef. A total gem, and a lovely atmosphere.

Scam. During weekend, outside they put a board saying 2 for 1 Guiness. Then we have been charged full price because " its not available during weekends". It wasnt written on the board and in this case they should have hidden it... They added 12.5% of tip for serving Guiness only. Ridiculous. Guiness costs more than 8 gbp and wasnt so good. Bartender was making jokes of my friend because he cant speak english very well. So disrespectful.

Lovely wine bar serving Guinness. A little clinical but just newly opened, lovely barman serving. Fantastic background music.

We really enjoyed this place. We had some nibbles there (which were available quite late) and were extremely tasty. They have a nice selection of Irish drinks and the music was refreshingly good. We will definitely pop back soon.
