Ate here a few times. Great burgers, the sliders were tasty, and the seasoning options and sauce that comes with the fries is really good. Also a great selection of beer.

Google
Great location, delicious burger, but a bit over priced. Individual burgers are around $14-18; they come with these speciality pretzel buns that has fantastic tastes and texture. Their most popular burger is the pork sausage patty (The Norma). For the price, the portion is a bit lacking. If you want sauce on the side, it's $1 each yikes! They have a decent beer & wine selection ($6 canned beer). Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be rough, I recommend parking at the Culver Steps (paid parking) across the street. Overall ambience reminds me of the Los Angeles Grand Central Market, but just on a smaller scale. If you order a drink, fries, & a burger expect to pay $25-35 per person. I recommend giving it a try. However, not sure when I'll come back due to the price-to-portion ratio.

Joshua was friendly, and helpful explaining all the different beers and IPA 's. The burger was amazing, nice crunchy onion rings... definitely a good place for a tasty burger!

Excellent burger. Thick patty and tasty fries. For those that prefer real juicy patties over the smash burger craze, you won't be disappointed.

Google
The Ivar (lamb burger) was phenomenal. So flavorful and juicy and delightful. My friend’s burger (the blvd) looked amazing as well. Plus a bottle of wine and a rooftop lunch was an amazing way to catch up and enjoy what LA does best - sunny days.

Google
Ordered the Melrose with fries and chili today from Weho in the Citizen public market. Phil was very nice and answered all my questions. I was surprised that they serve burger style patties for everything and don't have actual sausage links. So if you are looking for a hotdog style sandwich, look elsewhere. However, the chicken adobo sausage patty I got was delicious. Sometimes chicken patties can be dry, and I eat my burgers with no veggies or condiments so if the patty isn't juicy it doesn't go down easy, This was juicy and well spiced and delicious. The fries were fresh and tasty, but a little limp. I prefer my fries much crispier. The chili was just perfect tasting if a bit greasy. Tasty and a slow build to the heat. But the best part was NO BEANS! It is an all meat chili and would have been perfect on those fries if they had only been crispy. I would definitely go back.

Google
Could this counter stand restaurant in the Citizen Market be any more friendly, hospitable? We tried wines and talked with the Brooklyn-bred owner for almost as long as we ate their superb food -- We ordered the Wedge Salad ($4 and large) with Daish Blue Cheese; the Charcuterie Plate ($26 and the last of the night at 9 PM (!) The Marquis ($14), ( a big, fat) lamb Marquez patty, roasted Bell Pepper, Arugula and Red Onion Salata and Harissa Aioli - and a special mushroom jam toast. The star of Citizen Market and we would try anything and everything on the menu.

Google
Expected a lot more out of a $20 burger. It was mid. If you visit this location, you’re better off getting the chicken sandwich next booth over, which is the same price. The poor woman running the counter was very nice but clearly needed assistance and was overwhelmed. The burger lacked flavor and tasted like something I could’ve cooked at home.

Yelp
The location is probably my favorite part of this burger joint because it's located within Citizen Public Market on a trendy and popular part of Culver Blvd so if you're hanging out with a group, everyone can find what they want on that strip (there's something here for all). I did not intend to buy a burger that late afternoon, but the fries looked crispy and the burger quality seemed premium so I tried their Boulevard burger and I was 10/10 satisfied with the flavor, size and quality. After we sat down and ate, we were able to watch from the cash register area our food be put together. The price is definitely on the more expensive side, but as long as you know that going in it hurts less while eating it.

Yelp
What a wonderful find! One of the most unique burgers we've ever had - never had we seen a burger made from sausage. The Ivar was so incredibly delicious. And their ranch! Ranch at restaurants can be hit or miss, and this one was definitely a big hit. Wide variety of beers for every taste. Our bartender was so knowledgeable about matching people's tastes with their inventory, and we found a delightful new, local beer. Overall, a great find. Perfect for a date night, going out with friends, or a solo visit.

Yelp
Out of all the places in citizen public market I decided to try this. You can order either on the website via a bar code or from the front. You're given a buzzer so you can go buy other food or find a table. I tried these out. The boulevard - A solid burger! $2 extra for grilled onions and $3 extra for bacon. It's a bougie burger and it's pretty good. Meat was seasoned well and tasted great. (4.5/5) Bratwurst - If you love hotdogs you'd love this. It's simple but it's good. Comes with ketchup/ranch/ and mustard on top. (4.5/5) French fries - These were just okay. Kind of soggy and was pretty mid. Nothing special but it wasn't bad. Half portion is plenty to share. (2.5/5) Overall this place is pricey burgers. The food overall was good but I'm not sure if it's worth the price. Everything in this market was on the pricey side so I guess nothing abnormal here. Service was pretty just alrite IMO.

Yelp
Ambiance: it's located on the ground floor of the food court, near the stairs to second floor Service: you place the order either online or with cashier, and then self serving water and you pick up food from the counter Food: simple menu for burgers and sides The Boulevard - *** Angus Beef Patty, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Fancy Sauce, ordinary taste The Ivar - **** Lamb Merguez Patty, Cucumber and Mint Labneh, Arugula and Red Onion Salata, juicy and solid lamb burger, recommend Onion Rings - **** Beer Batter Rings Served with Serano Mayo Dipping Sauce, the dipping sauce is spicy and delicious, recommend Price: decent quality and acceptable prices, expect about $25+ per person

Yelp
Delicious!!! Onion rings are PERFECTION. Think I just found my favorite burgers joint!

Yelp
the hospitality from the owner was phenomenal! he was so kind and it was so nice that he would remember our names to ask us how our food is repeatedly. the burger was tasty, and the fries were the perfect amount of crisp. i loved just how juicy and big the patty was, and so flavorful. the price point was a bit steep, but all around a good burger joint.

Yelp
I ate here while visiting Citizen Public Market on a Saturday evening. There was only one guy working the cash register and giving people their food orders so the line was a bit slow. Their burgers are around $15-20 and pretty large in size. I ordered a daily special fry which included sausage and some spicy sauce that tasted great and it cost about $12-15. The group next to me ordered the sliders and they are truly tiny. Free parking available on Cardiff or on main under the culver hotel.

Yelp
One of my favorite burgers in Los Angeles. The large fries are huge and enough to serve two. The service is fast, takes less than 10 minutes to get your food. Also tons of seating.

Yelp
Best veggie burger ever So much flavor. Very original. Loved it. Will def be coming back.

Yelp
Great burger. Absolutely perfect. Great service, clean; Merguez too! Lots of sodas & bears.

Alice H.

Yelp
I tried their "The Ivar" burger. The Lamb Merguez Patty and the combination of flavors, including cucumber and mint labneh, were delicious. It was my first time trying a lamb burger, and it exceeded my expectations. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff added to the experience.

Yelp
Best onion rings in town. This place is hidden at the back of the citizen public market. Its a wonderful spot filled with amazing burgers choices and plenty of beer. The cashier was super friendly and provided wonderful recommendations.

Yelp
I'm sure the food is fine but mine never got here - warning against ordering on their website. Door dash delivers it but you can't get help from them for issues. (edited to add: the delivery confirmation email does not have links to get help. I tried to connect with doordash support anyway and after a lot of timeouts, they said they can't help - see screenshot). And weho sausage does not have a phone number that connects to a person. They play you a message and hang up even during biz hrs. It's just so frustrating that I'm leaving just a star, it's all I feel i can do. I'm sure the food is fine in fact I would have liked some! But my order arrived missing an entire entree. And like i said no way to resolve it without actually going in there.

Yelp
Good burger. Very father's office-like but I'd give FO the edge on this one. Lamb burger was good, but I think they over handled the patty since it was more dense than I'd like. Fries and onion rings were good overall.

Yelp
Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Value: 4 stars This is really a 4.5 - the burgers are great, but the cheesy pretzel knot is the real winner on the menu here. The one thing we didn't like was the fries. They weren't particularly crispy or flavorful, but that's a personal preference. The staff are happy to recommend drink options (they have a huge selection of cans in their fridge behind the counter). Overall, a great option but a bit pricy.

Yelp
It was our first time inside the Culver City citizens public market And we stopped by for a drink only to find out that they also sold sausage patty burgers. Right off the bat I would say the service was great we didn't know what to order and the server helped us out which is always a plus. Ended up getting the Boulevard Burger with Added bacon of course (always got to add your bacon) with the Za'atar French fries And an Ace pineapple The patty was perfectly cooked and the buns were nicely toasted as well over I thought the burger was great will definitely recommend getting that one if you ever get a chance. Now for me my favorite were the fries that Za'atar seasoning on the fries is just great. We chose those because the server recommended it to us let me tell you they were worth it. So if you guys were to show up I would definitely recommend this combo. Another thing I would also recommend is going outside and eating in the little rooftop area pretty decent view pretty relaxing while you eat your food

Yelp
Been following this place in IG for awhile and finally had the chance to try them out yesterday afternoon. The guy behind the counter (I think his name was Phil) was super nice and went through the menu telling me a bit about each option. Everything sounded amazing but I went with The Boulevard which is their "standard" cheeseburger and an order of half fries. I waited out on the patio and they brought it to me with minimal wait. I have to say the whole meal was perfection. I've had my share of pandemic comfort cheeseburgers and this one was hands down the best I've had in a very long time. Everything tasted fresh, the patty had a nice grill flavor and was juicy/not overcooked. Also the burger is HUGE. The half fries is the perfect amount for one person. I can't wait until I can actually eat here as they had tons o beer and other beverage option that would have washed everything down perfectly. In the meantime I will continue to support this awesome spot with takeout.

Yelp
Stopped by here for a later afternoon lunch as I've been meaning to try this spot for a while. The Citizen Public Market itself is a pretty cool little spot. They still have a few vendor spaces open so you can tell it's not quite at full strength, but even more of a reason to go support the businesses here. As for WeHo Sausage itself - pretty tasty! I had the italian sausage sandwich and it had some nice flavors going with the red peppers, melted cheese and nicely toasted bun. Service was extremely friendly and walked me through the menu. I wasn't blown away, but it was very solid and worth a visit if you're in the area!

Yelp
Place has great lamb burgers. My friend in the area took us there for lunch and it was pretty delicious. Nice outdoorsy type of place I like. Menu choices are good in moderate prices. Depending on what you order. The burger portions are huge. A pleasure to eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here looking for sausage, i got disappointment instead. You ever have a Costco Burger but for 4x the price? Come here. The cheese pretzel thing was good but the cheese literally slid off the bread. Don't know what it is about this place but I'd rather walk down to shake shack.

Yelp
After living in the neighborhood for six years my fiancé and I finally came in the market last night to check out a comedy show on a rare mom and dad Sunday night out. To learn that there's a good handful of food places we haven't checked out yet. So just before the show started I grabbed us some food from this place thinking they'd be just another Los Angeles burger spot. But to my surprise, they weren't necessarily just a plain old burger joint. To my surprise the owner and his cousin are from a part of Brooklyn my grandmother is from in which myself grew up in for a few year. So off the bat I loved that New York connection. Then me being the non-beer drinker I am, loved that they served a brand of hard kambucha that I've recently been put on to and love. So these guys already had my attention. Then it was time to see if their burger was any good. And let me tell you, their Boulevard burger, which is their basic burger, was delicious! Their fries, perfect and just the way I love fries to be. There's not too much going on in the burger which is great. It's always a pain when a burger joint puts too much other stuff on their burger and you can't enjoy nor taste the quality of the meat. But this place did a great job with their ratio of toppings. Not only will I be back soon to try their other menu items but I know my son will love this place. I highly recommend them in you're in the neighborhood and are looking for a good burger and drink. They have a wide selection of drinks from beers to wine so you can't go wrong. The place shares a space inside a market type interior so there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You'll enjoy your meal and have a good hang especially if you go for a show as well.

Yelp
A sausage burger? Sure, why not!? I got The Boulevard with a beef patty (wasn't feeling very adventurous, ha), and goodness, it was excellent! It was similar to a really well done burger that's seasoned perfectly. And, the fries were spot on. I'll definitely be back to go wild on that menu. I'm eying up The Norma for next time! The variety of beers and ciders on offer were through the roof. Lots of smaller breweries and stuff I'd never seen before, so it's a great spot if you're looking to peruse a wide beer selection, ranging from light to very, very dark. Citizen Public Market is an incredible spot to grab a bite, and if you're looking for something hardy and filling, walk straight to the back and grab a burger!
google avatar

Yelp
Located in Citizen Public Market, this is a nice place to go for burgers and drinks. I came with my friends last year but it seems the menu has changed now. When we went, my friend had The Boulevard (beef patty) while I had The Strip (Italian pork sausage). The burgers were solid, but also quite big. The patties are large but I didn't find anything special with the flavor of the burgers. We did enjoy the garlic parmesan fries though! Service here was also nice when we went. Parking: either on the street or park in the structure (1 hour free I believe)
google avatar

Mikey W.

Yelp
Came here right as they were about to close up and they were gracious enough to stay open just a bit longer for us! First of all, this place has a comprehensive selection of beers, cider, kombuchas, and some wine so if you're looking to pair your meal with a cold one, this is your place. Everyone I talked with here was super friendly and helpful in making sure we got our orders just the way we wanted them. I ordered the Boulevard burger with fries and I was completely blown away. The meat was perfectly seasoned and had a nice char to it, the bun had a bit of brioche give while still adding a great lil crunch on to the bite. The fries were well done and seasoned perfectly (they have a few different options for this but I was totally happy with the salted one). Overall, though this place is in the back of the Citizen food court, which has plenty of great options, I think this might be one of my favorites for being straight up awesome.
google avatar

Zach S.

Yelp
Pretty good burger but wildly overpriced with really slow service. That said, I would go back. The onion rings are some of the best I've had and they have a pretty great beer selection. Do note that their beer menu is not reflective of what they actually have so check their fridge instead.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
There are a ton of options at Citizen Public Market, but this HAS to be one of your first stops while you're there because it is not just another burger joint that happens to have non-beef options, they do everything well. At the cashier's suggestion, I tried the Ivar (the lamb burger) along with some garlic parmesan fries. To say this was the best lamb burger I've ever had would be an understatement. Lamb patties can be great, but if they aren't cooked well, that signature gamey taste can be overpowering and distract from everything else in the burger. However, that is definitely not the case here because it's a well cooked patty that pairs perfectly with the cucumber and mint labneh, which provides a refreshing contrast in flavor along with the red onion salata. I'm usually not a fan of red onion, but the salata in the burger is the perfect companion to everything else in the burger. The fries were nicely fried and super garlicky which is always a plus with plenty of parmesan. This has been and will continue to be my first place to visit while I'm at the Market and I'll definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
Located in the back of Citizen Public Market in Culver City, WeHo Sausage Company delivers on a variety of levels. First, the food. Prepared fresh, there are so many incredibly delicious options to enjoy. The Doherty happens to be one of my favorites. Italian Chicken Sausage Patty, Tomato, Arugula, Pesto Mayo and Fresh Mozzarella on a delicious Brioche bun. Moist patty, amazing cheese and the perfect flavor combination with the Pesto Mayo. Onion Rings. Wow. Crispy, Hot, Beer Battered. Incredible Serano Mayo Dipping Sauce flr a little kick. Cheesy Pretzel Knot. I cannot recommend this enough! A hot, freshly made Bavarian Style Pretzel Knot stuffed with Muenster Cheese and toasted to perfection. Get one, you won't regret it. Second, the beer selection. So many to list, not enough time. Pages and pages of options, local and foreign selections. Do yourself a favor and look at the online menu options before arriving, otherwise you'll be starting at the large glass cases for a minute or twenty. Finally, the space. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at Citizen Public Market. Community and individual tables alike with the other shop vendors. Come, explore and soak up the goodies at WeHo Sausage.
google avatar

Yelp
I love a good veggie burger - but rarely order them because most are Meh at best. WeHo Sausage Co does it right! 'The Highland' is an excellent house-made veggie burger topped with crispy fried onions. And the fries with it were great too. This is a different take on sausages - here they serve the sausage in a patty shape and treat it like a hamburger. Interesting change. Citizen Public Market has a lot of options, but this is one of the top choices. We love that everyone in the group can order from different restaurants here and eat together on the patios here.
google avatar

May L.

Yelp
I put in an order and y'all charged me, only for me to come down and find out you were already closed, so no food even though you took my money. Not cool!!! I hope I at least get my refund ASAP. Please at least fix the online system so this doesn't happen again.
google avatar

Dino H.

Yelp
If you like meat and if you like burgers, you gotta check this place out. The meat is super fresh made to order, the buns are great, huge beer selection. We had the Ivar, which is a middle-eastern'ish lamb Merguez meat with kind of tzatziki sauce, and the Boulevard which is a take on a classic burger with Angus meat. Both were very good. Great service and cool vibe at the Citizen Public Market which is a very small version of something like the Chelsea Indoor Market in New York. The only downside is that I don't believe these are $17 burgers. It's just the burger no sides included and t's only six ounce patty...
google avatar

Romy H.

Yelp
My favorite burger and one of the guys there is always the best. I usually order the boulevard burger on a pretzel bun. I pay extra but i dont care because i like it that way. It has never been an issue but the last time i went there was a different guy taking orders and this dude was rude! I am always happy when i go here because i love the burger and the vibe but this guy was rude. When i asked for the pretzel bun he snapped we dont do that. Um yes you do because i do it on the regular. I told him I know there is an extra charge and his response is we dont do that. He wasnt nice. He maybe could have said we cant donthat anymore for whatever the reason is but i seriously was not happy with his attitude. I told him i wouldnt be back. His response was, I dont care! I wont go back because of his attitude. But i will say they have an amazing burger and the cheesy pretzel bun side order is lime heaven in my mouth!
google avatar

Jill L.

Yelp
Review for the fries: I shared some fries here with some friends and they were SOOOOOO GOOOOD. A little crisp yet soft on the inside, lightly seasoned and served with ketchup and aioli. An order is large enough to share. Comin back for these fries.
google avatar

Aimee P.

Yelp
So I love this place for lunch, their burgers are delicious. I used the website to order and had a special request added to my order. I asked for them to cut the burger in half can you believe they charged me $1.00 to cut the burger in half?!. I mean that's not even the issue if you want to know the truth of the matter the issue is I was charged and they didn't even cut the burger in half ‍. If such a simple task cannot be accommodated then what would happen if I actually asked for something complicated! I don't know WeHo sausage you really hurt my feelings today but maybe next time I am craving a burger you can redeem yourselves. TBD!!!

Anita B.

Yelp
Fabulous burger, great beer selection, even ciders! The service was excellent. Cool vibes
google avatar

Lina K.

Yelp
This place is in the Citizen Food Hall with a couple other restaurants on the first floor and beers on the second floor. I got the Boulevard and I'd have to say it didn't impress me too much. It tasted like an average burger but the garlic Parmesan fries were very delicious. I gave it a three star for the ambiance and the fries but probably won't be back again for the burger.
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
Great spot to eat inside Citizen Public Market if you're craving a burger. The menu was nice and simple and easy to navigate. They do have a happy hour special from 4-6pm on the weekdays. The burger was pretty tasty a little red in center though.
google avatar

Yelp
Rich flavors , fresh ingredients. The 2 guys that run this joint are so kind and friendly . They were very patient with my picky choices and took the time to break down the sauces and spices for me. They make their own salami with innovative seasonings

Yelp
After browsing all the restaurants inside the citizen's market place, I decided to go with WEHO sausage co because I wanted small bite/snack and they were offering a cheese stuffed pretzel. I'm not sure if this is a limited time offer bc it's not currently listed on their menu online. Anyway, the wait was about 20 minutes but that's ok, the cashier had informed me that so wasn't out of left field. Now, as for the pretzel...it was nicely stuffed with cheese and the perfect size for a snack (which I was going for). I tried to cut the pretzel with a plastic knife since it was hot and greasy but I soon discovered how rough it was to cut. The texture of the bun was too crisp for my liking, baked a little too long. My first bite wasn't magical or anything, a little disappointing as I'm a stickler for texture. The cheese was delicious but I used a lot of pressure in every bight. The outer area of the bun was the most crisp, borderline burnt. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the bun...I mainly ate the inner areas that were less crisp. Overall, I'm not opposed to trying other items on their menu :)

Yelp
There's a ton of potential here, from burgers to breakfast sandwiches to, yes, multiple kinds of sausage, including pork and lamb varieties. The beer selection isn't bad either for such a small place in what is essentially a fancy food court. Staff, including the owner, Pete, are super nice, and the food isn't bad. Salad is simple but effective, and had a good discussion with Pete about their sausage and the tweaking process.
google avatar

Shirley W.

Yelp
You have got to come and eat here!!! Service is great--friendly and helpful. Burgers made from best beef or lamb or sausage meats are freshly made and they are Huge. Tomatoes are so fresh and the bun is a delicious brioche toasted to perfection. Now--my favorite --fries!! Don't forget the fries! They have regular, Parmesan and a third flavor I can't remember but will go back to try!!! This place is in the Citizen marketplace in Culver City all the way in the back. They have outdoor patio seating Love this place. You must try WeHo Sausage Co
google avatar

Alessio D.

Yelp
What an experience! Peter and his crew put so much love and passion on what they do it's exceptional! We tried almost the whole menu!! Here is my take This man is a salame and sausage genius! You need to try the charcuterie board!! Do your self a favor he makes the salme!! It's aged 6 months or more. it's an experience!! my favorite was the anice salame also loved the pepper one WoW. We loved the pork sausage patty burgers was so tender and had an incredible depth of flavors, The chicken alote corn burger was incredible and we try the lamb one was soooooo juicy amazing!! We also try their home made smoked salmon sandwich!!! Wow!!! So fresh with this fantastic walnut and raisin bread!! Another note of merit to the fries! Skin on, super savory we had them paired with their harissa aioli!!! Please if you are in the area do enjoy them ! They have a fantastic selection of beer and wine too!

Yelp
Decided to check out the new Citizen Public Market food hall in downtown culver where the Weho Sausage Co. is one of the vendors. At first glance it doesn't look like a place that would serve burgers because it has over 100 craft beers on display. We ordered the strip since we were in the mood for burgers and the boulevard since we figured we couldn't go without trying their speciality sausage patty + of course fries. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the sausage patty but mixed with everything else in the burger was so good! The fries were definitely the highlight. Something about the way they were cooked and the seasoning made them so addicting. Will definitely be back to try out some of the sandwiches/ burgers they only have on the weekend or the sliders and beer buckets they have for happy hour!

Diane M.

Yelp
Even as someone who doesn't eat meat, I appreciated this spot. The veggie burger was delicious, and had a spicy kick to it. Prices are reasonable. One star off for the fries, which could have been a bit crispier.
google avatar

Lexi L.

Yelp
The burger was very basic to me the bun kinda overpowered the meat and the meat didnt have much flavor to me. The fries are good tho but I wouldnt try again
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
Delicious food and wide range of beer & wine. Got the beef burger (will try sausage patties next time) and would give it a 9.8 out of 10... but I added bacon, so it was a 10. Huge variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and the fries are lightly seasoned to bring out the potato flavors. It's all the way in the back of Citizen Public Market and there's ample seating inside, on the roof, or outside. Enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
solid spot for burgers and from the looks of it, seems like it is the best restaurant in the entire Citizen Public Market food hall. It's a nice casual place, and there's a cute outdoor seating area with turf and market lights set up. They also sell a wide array of ciders, beers and wine I believe. The staff were very friendly and the food came out in about 15 minutes. Thanks for a great time! Ask for a pretzel bun, you won't regret it :)

Yelp
Can recommend the house made veggie burger and the really good fries that came with it. They have a very large selection of beer (none on tap though). Enjoyed a sour with hints of cherry and guava made by Sierra Nevada. Next time we'll try some of the sausages (as they are ground into patties and served on a burger bun).

Yelp
The name is a little misleading since it is in Culver City but so glad we came here. Great choices on the menu and the sandwiches were delicious. We all really liked the outdoor patio and the large beer selection was a nice surprise. All kinds of great craft beers. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. We originally came here for the trivia but would definitely return again for just a meal. The building that houses the location is great as well.
