The Best Bars In Westwood, Brentwood, And West LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"There’s a good chance you’ve driven by West End countless times and never noticed it - it’s right on Westwood Blvd., and doesn’t look like much from the outside, after all. But inside, you’ll find a great little cocktail bar that’s never too crowded, and is a perfect place for a drink when you want to escape the chaos of your life (or traffic on Wilshire). They’ve got a killer Happy Hour - barrel-aged Old Fashioneds for $6, sangria for $5 - but the cocktails are good regardless of the price. Our go-to is usually the Pieter The Elder, a rum and beer drink that tastes like boozy lemonade. Or, if you’re really getting after it, the West End Punch is a mysterious house concoction that they limit to two per person. You should Lyft here." - Brett Keating

Friendly atmosphere and the food was top knotch. Some of the flakiest and delicious crust was on the dish I had. Everything on their menu is a great choice. Def need to come back again.

I really liked their cocktails prices were affordable - around $13-$14. One should stop by and try them. The place is super cozy and the background music was chill as well. Strongly suggested!

Walked in and it was packed. My wife and I found room at the bar. We ordered two Manhattans and a sandwich. Drinks and sandwich were awesome. Conversed with a local and once it slowed down we met the owner Gary. I was wearing a 49er jacket which he did not approve of. Turns out he’s a Raiders fan. We traded insults, had fun and we will definitely return on our next trip. Highly recommend.

It is a great spot in Los Angeles. I have been here once, in 2016. The ambiance is welcoming, and not hostile. There is plenty of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Furthermore, they had a good selection of wines. So, definitely, next time, when I will be in the area, I might visit this spot again. Of course, the prices for everything are marked-up, but what do you expect, since it is LA.

I'm pretty sure this place used to be part of the Moroccan restaurant next door. But who knew "adventurous Los Angeles eaters" would prefer craft cocktail bars over delicious diverse Moroccan food?! (ahem, everyone). Anyhow, this is a great happy hour spot. Their menu is a mix of Moroccan dishes like this puff pastry with powdered sugar on top but meat inside (try it, it's great) and herb seasoned fries. Also their portions are huge unlike most happy hour spots, so if you order 8 dishes for 4 people you will not be able to finish the food and still waddle out of there. The sangria I tried for happy hour was pretty refreshing as well. Now that I'm writing about it, I can't wait to go back. Must plan another eating adventure/happy hour soon!

One of the very few establishments these days that you can expect to get a genuine craft cocktail with a genuine staff. I would quite honestly recommend The West End to anyone and everyone, there's a real vibrant taste of life in there.

My friends and I like to go to this place at least once a week, preferably after work on the weekday and the happy hour here is flight. They have great food and the drinks are nice and strong just the way I like it
