This was my first stay at the Westin Downtown Austin, and it definitely won’t be my last! The beds were as heavenly as you’d expect from Westin, I slept so well.||Claire, the front desk manager, was an absolute standout. Her warmth and energy made me feel so welcome that I actually extended my stay. She even sent a little surprise to celebrate my birthday, which truly made my day. That personal touch meant a lot and set this stay apart.||I also loved the rooftop pool and bar, Azul was fantastic and kept the energy just right. In the lobby bar, I had a great conversation with two bartenders (wish I remembered their names!) who made the space feel fun and inviting. Britney at Azul was also super accommodating and made the rooftop experience effortless.||For a first visit, this hotel exceeded every expectation. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Austin!

Had a fantastic stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff truly made the experience phenomenal—Elvira at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and front desk managers Mike and Mary Grace were professional, friendly, and accommodating. Special thanks to Brenan, the restaurant manager, for his outstanding service and attention to detail. Make sure to order room service—the food was delicious, especially the breakfast potatoes: crispy, golden, and they melt in your mouth! Great value for the price. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you all so much for everything you do. Keep up the great work! You truly deserve a raise and a promotion for being the best staff with the best customer service.

We were celebrating my husband birthday amd we had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. The front desk service was pleasantly amazing. They sent us a complimentary bottle, the rooftop pool was a blast, the bed was super comfy and the location of the hotel is super convenient, we'll definitely come back soon.

Celebrating and this Westin didn’t disappoint. Claire at front desk was welcoming and informative. Britney helped us at both the lobby and rooftop bars and saved us from the Austin heat with cold water and great drinks and also provided information regarding area restaurants and entertainment. Room was very clean.

I'm glad I chose to stay here while in Austin. The location is pretty convenient. The hotel overall is really nice. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The staff at the front desk was incredibly nice. There is a rooftop bar that has a super nice vibe. The drinks there are good and pretty strong. A really cool spot to just chill at night. This will be my go to hotel when I am back in the Austin area.

Great place to stay, great location to 6th Street, Texas State Capitol Building, The Hay Neighborhood, great restaurants and more! The hotel is modern and fresh! Amazing friendly staff always welcoming! The rooms are a great size with Westin’s signature “Heavenly” Bedding and Bath towels. The restaurant, Stella San Jac is excellent as well with a great bar and coffee!|Be sure to enjoy the rooftop bar and pool! Great views, especially at night time!

The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The food we ate at the hotel was really good as well. We enjoyed the bar "Stella" downstairs. Brittany was such a doll🥰. The hotel was very nice! Only con is parking and the entry way into the hotel can be a bit hectic if the road is busy in front of the hotel and valet is $60/night. Only good thing about that is they are pretty fast with getting your vehicle and they allow ins and outs.

Beautiful hotel with great views! I stayed in a corner room and loved seeing the city skyline. The staff was outstanding— especially at Stella and valet. Location is perfect; walking distance to the “Bat Bridge” and also to many restaurants and bars. I’d highly recommend Pete’s Piano Bar! That said, I was really surprised by the decision by hotel staff to close Stella, the hotel’s only restaurant, for the summer. Given the hotel’s prime location in a busy tourist area, shutting down for renovations during peak season seems like such a missed opportunity. A Fall or Winter closure would’ve made far more sense. Aside from that—and the incredibly overpriced parking fees—everything about the stay was wonderful. Thankfully, we were able to enjoy a meal at Stella the night before it closed. *Also, huge plus that guests can still order in-room dining from the restaurant that is now closed*
