The Westin Beijing Chaoyang

One of the best hotels I've been at despite it not being super new. . Room was fantastic with terrific views. Do be careful about the drinks in the fridge. Unlike many hotels these days which only leave drinks that are free, westin drinks are chargeable. . Breakfast spread is excellent esp the local delicacies. . Numerous lifts so not much waiting . Very close to metro line and 3 bus stops away from shopping belt . Close to highway so transport speed is good . Staff are very nice

Really beautiful hotel. Our room was very spaceous and comfortable. Extra plus point the bath salts for the tub and the rubber mat in the shower so you dont slip. All the usual bathroom amenities. Also top location, beautiful lobby and ultra friendly and nice staff. Not all speak good English but they help out instantly with a translator. Only the bonvoy rewards were not honored. No welcome amenity nor upgrade, but apart from this I highly reccomend this hotel.

I had an excellent stay at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang during my recent business trip. The hotel's location is ideal, with convenient access to key business districts and transportation. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, perfect for both work and relaxation. The service was exceptional—staff were professional, attentive, and quick to assist with any requests. The on-site dining options were fantastic, offering a variety of dishes catering to both local and international tastes. The fitness center and pool were a great way to unwind after a long day of meetings. Overall, the Westin Chaoyang exceeded my expectations and made my business trip comfortable and stress-free. I highly recommend it for business travelers.

the hotel is amazing, amazing amenities and location is super convenient. the room is always clean and you can also request what specific time you want the room clean. I like my view and the bed is just the right mattress so you can sleep well, not too soft, not too hard. overall amazing staff, and the concierge and receptionists are also willing to help you and assist you. Amazing hotel and definitely lived up to the name

Ohh! It’s amazing… my stay at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang (PIN 5309) was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless and attentive. The room offered a beautiful city view, modern design, and a truly comfortable bed. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, catering to both local and international tastes. The location in Chaoyang is ideal for business and leisure, close to Sanlitun and key attractions. Overall, a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable experience, I look forward to returning soon

Communication in English was difficult, this was unexpected from Westin. Cleaners at level 5 female changing room were grumpy and difficult to deal with. Bellboy did not look neat, one of them in suit shut the door in my face. Housekeeping was incredible, but more is expected from a 5-star branded Westin.

Great place for young families in a well placed location in Chaoyang. Very pleased about the kids play zone next to the breakfast and swimming pool accessibility. The family room we chose had a fantastic corner view down towards Sanlitun.

My wife and I stayed at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang from April 10 to April 14, 2025. We checked into the hotel at 7:30 PM on our first day in Beijing. Upon our arrival, we approached the staff at the reception desk of the restaurant on the second floor, which serves breakfast, as well as the staff standing outside at the front door. We asked for recommendations for nearby restaurants for a late dinner. We were quite disappointed when they responded that they had no information to offer, and they did so in a rather cold manner. Having worked as hotel employees at the Westin in Singapore in 1986, we still remember how much the hotel emphasized the importance of service during our orientation. They instilled in us the belief that "people make a difference" when it comes to hospitality. It was surprising to see how the level of service at the Westin has diminished, as it no longer seems to prioritize the needs of its guests. On a positive note, the housekeeping team was outstanding. They cleaned our room quickly and provided plenty of water and toiletries. After taking a walk following their cleaning, I returned to find everything spotless again!
