A Definitive Ranking Of Literally Every West Hollywood Gay Bar - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The Wild wins the coveted award for being Just Another Weho Gay Bar. Located in the former St. Felix space (RIP), this tropical-y cocktail bar (there are more birds of paradise plants here than La Cienega Nursery) is a fine pitstop on a Weho bar crawl, but there’s nothing you can’t find the next spot over. There’s a decent brunch on the weekends, Drag Race viewing parties, and go-go boys gyrating to house music. Beyond that though, we struggle to stay interested." - brant cox

Google
A lot of promise, but needs more professional staff. I visited the bar last week and when I got there I was one of 5 patrons there and there were 3 bartenders. I stood at the bar for several minutes before even being acknowledged. The bartenders were too busy talking and vaping behind the bar to actually serve drinks. Not a good sign.

This bar is not like any other bar on the WEHO strip... the bar is beautiful, the staff is awesome, the security have got to be one of the best - they get the job done but they are also friendly and welcoming! FOOD is amazing - just heard they launched on uber eats this week! MUST TRY! The music is great and we love how each night they are open they have different night themes to enjoy! We also love how the bar gives you those vacation vibes as if you were in Tulum.... follow them on IG so you can see what's going on and find your night to have a good time!

Wow, the Wild does not disappoint! Atmosphere is truly astonishing and Jeremy is one of the fantastic bartenders at the Willd who was so great and very personable and definitely knows how to make a great spicy margarita! I also highly recommend the hibiscus margarita it’s one of their iconic drinks here at the Wild! Definitely should stop in and get a drink if you’re local in the area or if you’re just visiting what a great bar and restaurant!

Was a bar I enjoyed going to, however on Halloween the guy in the police costume was very unprofessional and should not be making any business decisions. We went in when it was fairly empty and had a few rounds of drinks. Every other bar was maxed out and we had gotten a good table to sit and enjoy the Halloween festivities. As we were enjoying our night the guy in the cop costume came up and asked if we turned off a small blue light that was on the rail (we did not, it was out when we sat down) he then came back and told us we had to clear our table because he needed the small light to illuminate the dancer, it was not a bright light and makes no sense to kick customers from their table to have a light of little impact to shine when there was also people standing in front of the light in question. I used to enjoy this bar (especially since it rarely busy) but after being rudely told to leave my table tonight I'm not sure if I will return. If you continue letting this guy make "business" decisions it wouldn't shock me if he pisses off more customers and they eventually lose what little customers they have. Very unprofessional employee. Bar tenders and everyone else who works there was amazing but the guy dressed as a police officer is horrible.

Got pulled in here off the street while visiting LA. Glad I did! Menu offers vegan options, the owner was incredibly nice, the bartender was super personable, and the Flaming Flamingo drink he made was incredible! Plays popular tunes that are bound to get you singing and wanting to move around. It’s a cozy space with a neat forest aesthetic inside.

Yelp
Great space, love the decor/ upscale feel. The food is great , Cesar is a stud! My favorite night is uncut / loteria Linda Recessionista is hysterical and the prizes are solid for a free game ! Also the music is so amazing on a wed ! Surprised it's not always full as it's the best music on the boulevard ten fold !

Yelp
I guess it must be a trend for pop stars of a certain professional maturity and shall we say, a certain proclivity, to invest their royalties into opening new WeHo bars. Lance Bass did it with the abysmal Heart WeHo (review: https://yelp.to/722ZHRybDC), and now Adam Lambert and Roger Taylor of Queen have opened this spot between Bayou and Salt & Straw. Jamie W and I made it in here during its soft opening at WeHo PRIDE. Although we saw the beginning of a tropical theme, it was still a work in progress, but the attitude from the staff was enthusiastically positive and the cocktails were just fine, which was a lot more than what I can say about Heart WeHo. I had the $14 Conciere Tequila Gold over ice (photo: https://yelp.to/mZec-o-Mgw), while Jamie had a $16 Margarita (photo: https://yelp.to/mcIj4imt5v). A tad pricey but forgivable. We'll be back, I'm sure. DRINKS - 4 stars...pricey but potent AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...a work in progress SERVICE - 4.5 stars...genuine enthusiasm here TOTAL - 4 stars...definite promise here...good luck, Adam and Roger RELATED - Exploring WeHo? Yelp
We were in the area the Friday of Weho pride weekend and decided to stop in for a pre-concert drink. This was the only happy hour that went until 8pm so it was a no brainer. They also had 2 extremely friendly people who welcomed us in and our drinks came quickly. I was shocked that in comparison to the other bars, this one was pretty quiet. I spoke to the manager and he mentioned they took over the Saint Felix's spot back in November and hoping to get more traction soon. Though the restaurant/bar itself if pretty small, I love their quaint outdoor patio, the interior decor is classy and best of all the restrooms were really nice and clean. I had such a good feeling about this place that I ended up going back 2 days later with some friends to hang during the pride parade - they are in such a good location, right by Santa Monica and Robertson 2 doors down from Salt and Straw. It's a good feeling when you head back to a place and they remember you. This time we decided to try some of their appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious. We tried their wings - very good. Their fries were deep fried in a unique way, maybe with some sort of batter?!? I forgot what else we tried but the overall consensus was thumbs up on everything we had. I just googled the restaurant and saw that Adam Lambert is part owner of this restaurant, I had no clue! It's funny we decided to stop in for a drink right before we went to the outloud concert he was performing in. What a small world! Parking in the area is extremely tough but totally doable if you drive around and read all the street signs. Or to make it easier, I always suggest talking a lyft to Weho, it'll make life easier and you can drink as much as you'd like!

Yelp
As someone who lives in West Hollywood, I am embarrassed to admit I use to skip past The Wild for other bars. However, I recently attended their "Last Disco" night and I had the BEST time. I was so impressed how organized, efficient, and fun the space was! The crowd was diverse, and everyone was friendly. I had a great night of dancing and drinking and can't wait to be back, hopefully for another Last Disco or similar event!

Yelp
Great new brunch spot! Super cute indoor/outdoor dining spaces. Food was amazing, loved everything we ordered. A good mix of America/Mexican dishes. Good prices too during the brunch hours. Service was great, our server was so sweet, he made it a great experience. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Really bad service from one employee. We were sitting at a table for hours and ordering drinks and were moved next to a homeless person at one of their tables because we were blocking the lighting for a stripper. I get it but come on. I won't be coming back

Yelp
So far I think this bar is a great addition to the rainbow district of West Hollywood. The aesthetic is jungle/tropical and it is high energy with the DJ they have spinning.

Yelp
This place is a vibe. Me and my kids and my friend and her daughter were just walking by when one of the queens just said hi and we started talking and I asked if we were allowed to come in with kids and without hesitation she went to ask next thing you know we were inside vibing with everyone else who was there. They were all so welcoming and very friendly. I do recommend this place and I will definitely be going back with my kids to see our queen there she was a whole vibe. Five stars all the way oh and the food was amazing.
