Went for NYE, was my first time. Beautiful restaurant and staff was EXCELLENT. We had a reservation, they were right on time. Great wine selection, of course. Food was really good, and I say this even though my chicken was overcooked because they replaced it with some amazing risotto. And had it been cooked perfectly, it would have been delicious. My friends fish was perfectly cooked and really tasty. And if you like charcuterie, this was one of the best boards I’ve had. Definitely recommend for a nice evening out.

With SO many choices at the UTC mall, The Winery is a great choice to have amazing food, wine and service. The space and layout of the restaurant and outdoor dining area is very comfortable and relaxing. Greeted by the owner Linda as we walked in, we felt welcomed! Our server April was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu, specials and wine list. The food was delicious: the Lobster Tail risotto and house salad are must do’s! Skip the lines at the other UTC places and grab a table at The Winery!

Came here for brunch Saturday morning. Nice venue with outside seating. Service was friendly, but quite slow. We got our appetizer before our drinks showed up. People who were sat after us, got their orders in before us as well. Ordered flat water, got sparkling instead. Bloody Mary was good, the frittata was ok, but overcooked.

Had a business dinner with colleagues here. Calamari was good, although maybe not quite as hot as it could be. The 8oz filet mignon was done perfectly and I actually enjoyed the wine (which is rare for me). The fruit crumble for dessert was a larger portion than I anticipated, but I had no issues finishing it. The atmosphere was really conducive to sharing laughs together while enjoying the quality of service from the staff.

We came here on UCSD graduation weekend but were still able to walk-in and enjoy a nice early evening dinner. Service = 5, Food = 4, Ambience = 5 The heirloom tomato salad was disappointing. The "different" calamari was filling for an appetizer (meaty french-fry like sticks). The pork belly starter was also very large (so glad I had this as my main). The cocktails and wines by the glass selection was fun/tasty.

I’ve been here several times when visiting San Diego. Overall this is a great place for great food. The bar decor and atmosphere are all wonderful. I’ve had the hamburger and last night the 8 oz filet mignon. Tender with lots flavor and juicy. The mashed potatoes were perfect. The cocktails full and well made. Service was great as well. We decided to order desserts and had the butter cake and ice cream affogato style. We waited and waited and waited … No dessert Finally asked our server and he was able to track it down. I must admit the dessert was disappointed The ice cream had melted and the butter cake was dry. It took away from the amazing meal we had. Perhaps another time

Fine wine, delicious oysters, juicy and well marbled ribeye, exquisite lobster, scrumptious brussel sprouts, cheesy shoestring fries, and decadent butter cake. A classy location for a celebration dinner. Worthy of expensive taste for a climactic taste buds experience. Fine dining and service at its best!!

A group of us dined here last week and it was interesting experience. Overall, the service was nice and the food was all right (definitely on the pricier side). We ordered a few appetizers and the calamari was mediocre, the flatbread was pretty standard, and the salads were delicious. I got the duck for an entree and it was phenomenal! A very nice balance of flavors, and my duck came out cooked just as I ordered it, medium rare. However, the gentleman sitting across from me ordered the same and it came out almost well done. The woman sitting next to me also ordered the truffle macaroni and cheese and it was incredibly salty. I'm a fan of salt, however, this was over the top. I should have said something to our waiter while we were there, but got caught up in conversation and didn't. At the table she mentioned that the macaroni was very salty and two other people agreed that their dish was quite salty as well. Also, I understand this isn't the fault of the restaurant however the fire alarm was going off for about an hour. The wait staff explained that this was common due to all of the construction going on across the complex and while not their fault, it was still not very pleasant. Their bar is beautiful! Gorgeous blue geode stones across the bar top and the welcome stand was really eye catching and quite a statement piece. On balance, I don't think I would go here again.

Yelp
Post-mortem... The Winery Restaurant was one of two original upscale eateries at the NW corner of the Westfield UTC Mall. It was located above a fancy chain steakhouse that also closed for business a couple of years ago. The Winery was not a large restaurant, but its interior was elegant with a bar that supported both the inside patrons and those seated outside on the patio. The Wine Bar was an adjacent standalone structure in between The Winery Restaurant and True Food Kitchen across the way. The Crispy Kurobuta Pork Belly Lollipops was my appetizer. There were five skewers of pork belly cubes sitting on top of a bed of cannellini bean ragout with wasabi yuzu and toasted sesame seeds. It tasted like a gourmet version of pork 'n beans in a decadent way with an emphasis on P-O-R-K! My main dish was the Jumbo Maine Scallops & Wild White Shrimp. Two huge seared scallops were on each end of the plate and rested upon a watercress-parmesan risotto with roasted baby golden beets. In between the scallops were three jumbo sized shrimp with a piece of crispy pancetta that was discretely tucked inside. This entree was one of the most well-balanced seafood dishes I had tasted in a while as the beets provided a sweetness, and the risotto was a smooth foundation for the two proteins. The prices for my two items were expensive, however that was my expectation going into this place. Unfortunately, competition and rent were the likely reasons for the demise of The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar as it suddenly shuttered at the end of last year. I am curious to find out what business will take over the space as this part of the mall has experienced a bit of turnover in restaurants.

Yelp
Can't recommend this place enough! The ambiance is absolutely stunning. I chose to sit outside on the patio. Loved the outdoor heat lamps. The people-watching was a plus and definitely entertaining. It was a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. The complimentary bread and butter they brought out was another highlight. The pork chop was definitely the star of the show. Perfect sear on the outside and the portion is massive. The flavors were spot-on, and every bite was a delight! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for spectacular food in a not so busy setting. I'll definitely be back! It is located in the UTC mall, so be prepared to pay for parking if you stay more than 2 hours.

Yelp
This is a lovely place to spend Happy Hour! They have Happy Hour everyday from 3-6pm. There's deals for food, wine, cocktails and beer. The Wine Bar is separate from the restaurant itself. It's outdoor and it's amazing to be able to sit and relax outside, people-watching and enjoying our wine. We got the YG Alsatian "pizza" (the quotes are theirs. I don't know why) and the a wild mushroom flatbread. Both are great snacks.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday around 1pm to try their Brunch/Lunch menu. Made reservations on OpenTable. We got seated right away once we arrived. It was super hot outside, so the nice AC in the restaurant was great. We love the big windows and upscale decor; Fine dining level. Our server Andrea was great. She was very nice and attentive. It was great she paced the service at our speed (we had a talkative group). :) Charcuterie board was good. Came with 3 different cheeses and 3 different cured meats. Also came with slices of apple, strawberries, dates, nuts, raisins, pickles, mustard, bread. It's not big. Probably can feed 2-3 people. We ate the whole thing. It was delicious. Corned Beef Hash is probably the best around. Great chunks of corned beef. Egg was cooked perfectly. I would eat this daily if my cholesterol/body could take it. :) Corkscrew pasta was also delicious. Pasta looked handmade and the texture was great. There was a lot of chicken in it also. Nice big portion overall. I would definitely order this again. Some Yelpers complain of slow service. Service is at Fine dining pace. They want you to enjoy yourself and the food/wine/drinks. Pace was fine with us. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Looking for a wine bar to enjoy some great wine maybe get educational tips we choose the winery restaurant and bar. The location is in the UTC mall so keep that in mind for the paid parking lot and the traffic. We were sat immediately which was nice. The restaurant was beautiful much more upscale for inside the mall. Was disappointed we had no education or description of the wines nor did we have any suggestions to pair with our dinner. Our food was ok nothing extra special and missing the dept of flavor. We ordered the Maple Leaf Duck Breast *Creamy Farrotto/ Napa Cabbage/ King Trumpet / Blood Orange Sauce. We also got the Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs Prosciutto Asparagus / Carrot Couscous/ Zinfandel Reduction. The reduction was slightly sweet. To me I needed a little something to break up the sweetness from the wine. Maybe for a bite it would have been ok. If you looking for education or a giant wine selection i wouldn't recommend it. I wish we had just done the wine bar. Next time if i am in the area.

Yelp
The Winery is a beautiful upscale restaurant in the La Jolla UTC mall. In addition to the sit down restaurant, there's also a more casual wine bar that has more of a lounge feel. It's a great place to grab a drink in the middle of your shopping adventure. As the name would indicate, they have a great wine selection. If you aren't feeling wine, they also have a full bar with quality cocktails as well. The wine bar does serve snacks that can also turn into full meals if you'd like to eat. Super cozy vibes!

Yelp
The ambiance is perfect for those date nights... or for a group of friends who drank too much elsewhere and needed a spot to scarf down some food, whilst drinking more. Either way, The Winery's got your back. Make those reservations because it's the right thing to do and parking is free for the first 2 hours. - Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs | Really tender and savory short ribs. Also comes with prosciutto asparagus and carrot couscous. Overall, a great classy dish. - Plum Manhattan | Sweet with a kick of whiskey. It's like an old fashioned, but with plum vibes. I'll be back.

Yelp
The winery is a great spot in the utc mall to dine and get drinks. I had a bumble meet up and sat at the bar. The bartender was great so attentive and friendly. It's a great place to talk, it's not noisy. I could hear my date's awkward conversation. It wasn't a match but I enjoyed my glass of wine Great place to meet up. 5star!

Yelp
We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and were disappointed. The ambiance is nice - good, bright space with good seating inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She's the reason why I didn't rate this restaurant 2 stars. The food was the problem. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, the breakfast wrap, burgers, and the mahi mahi tacos. The calamari was interesting. Not the usual calamari appetizer we are used to with some crunch. It was on the chewier side. The wrap was very average tasting. Good portion size but on the bland side as was most of our food. The tacos were also slightly on the bland side and not very tasty. One of the burgers was not cooked to preference. It was more well done than medium rare. And it was also bland. For the price of the food, this place wasn't with it. There are much better places at UTC mall.

Yelp
We came for my sons 18th birthday. We started with the Spanish Octopus and Bread and butter. The bread was warm and fresh. The butter was creamy and melted perfectly onto the warm bread. We ordered 1) Wagyu burger with a side of fries. The fries were season with rosemary but not over powering. 2) Prime rib and New Yor steak bothe med-rare and grilled to a savory smoky taste. 3) House Bison special- bison was soft and not gamey at all. Would recommend any of these dishes but next time we want to try other appetizers ;) Ambiance was calm and relaxing for a nice quiet dinner. Our waitress was attentive and other staff came by to continually check on us. Thank you all for a great experience.

Yelp
Had a good experience with dinner with a group of us. We ate outside on the covered patio. Extensive wine list with a variety of options. We had a variety of appetizer to include calamari, lobster tail and shashimi. I enjoyed my rack of lamb. We ordered mushrooms and asparagus as a side. We ordered several desserts which I almost missed. Great service and a great night.

Yelp
We were greeted with a huge smile from the host who seated promptly with our reservation. Our servicer, Amorino, was outstanding as she has a terrific personality and was very engaging as she shared a little information about us. We loved our meal of shrimp and scallops and short ribs and we would definitely order again. The wine list is quite extensive with many areas and countries represented. The general manager and sommelier, Greg, shared the many reasons the enjoyment of the restaurant and the talent they provide for the customers is tops! At the end of the meal our server, Amorino, asked if we we cared for a dessert. I requested a peach pie and her comeback was precious. They were offering a peach cobbler with many fresh berries and a large scoop of excellent vanilla ice cream. The diet would have to wait. This dessert was served warm. One of the best finish of a meal I've had in a long time. I was very impressed that the staff was raising or lowering the shades so that the customers were never in direct sunlight and could enjoy the view when possible. The food and service was very appropriate with the prices and we would love to return soon

Yelp
We had a fantastic meal at this large stylish restaurant. After walking around the bustling open-air shopping centre for a bit, we popped in a bit early for our Saturday reservation and were seated in a cozy booth. Our great server, Jonathan took wonderful care of us . As a wine-centric spot, they offer quite a few options by the glass and an impressive selection of half-bottles, and even a few magnums in addition to the wide-ranging standard list. We were in a mode to graze so started out with a few of the massive shrimp before moving on to the fresh and delicious Buratta salad. We complimented the artful cheese and charcuterie board with a luscious half bottle of a high-end Napa Cab. Service was superb with water glasses repeatedly filled and dishes cleared promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to come back based on the service alone-but there was lots of items I'd like to try on the menu. Highly recommended

Yelp
Stopped by to get a beer while shopping for the holidays - solid draft options on happy hour at the little outside area too. Everyone working was friendly, couple of various games on TV. Can order food to the patio area too. Will definitely come back and check this place out.

Yelp
There are so many options at UTC for restaurants, and although the ambiance and service at this one were excellent, the food quality is just not up to par with the completion. Flatbread pizza was only okay, burger was overcooked and expensive. Would definitely try one of the other many spots in the UTC for better food quality, but if you're after ambiance this isn't a bad option!

Yelp
Great first experience! Attentive & great service by Andrea, the hostess & the whole team tonight on 6/5/24. We ordered the short rib, the mashed potato side, caesar salad, & lollipop appetizers, all so yummy! The service was above & beyond. Very impressed. They were even sweet to give a complimentary birthday dessert.

Yelp
Stopped into The Wine Bar by the Winery for a pre dinner drinks as we waited for our seating time at another restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly inside as it was a bit chilly outside. All the cocktails ordered were delicious and reasonably priced. The inside was not too loud and a nice area to just relax.

Yelp
Had to knock off a star because I originally came here for happy hour and was totally not impressed by the happy hour food (e.g., calamari & beef sliders). I would honestly steer clear of the happy hour food menu and just stick to the drinks. The cantaloupe martini is perfection (seriously--I had 2!). And since the happy hour food wasn't that great, my party and I transitioned to dinner, which made me so happy. The gnocchi dish melts in your mouth and tasted like it was made with so much thought, care, and overall complimenting ingredients. It tastes indulgent but healthy at the same time. The roasted brussel sprouts were also delicious. I love me some well roasted brussel sprouts, and these were cooked with some Asian inspired ingredients which brought a nice hint of spice. Also can't go to the winery without ordering a wine, so the moscato that I chose was addicting! 10/10!

Yelp
In a packed UTC, this place was heavenly. Great service from Jordan, fantastic wines (thus the name) and really Fred fun lunch options. Plus a nice booth and air conditioning made our perfect lunch. Dinner entrees look spectacular as well. We will be back for date night.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a business dinner with a group of 6 of us. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our server, April, guided us through our experience. We started with some appetizers, followed by individual entrees and we shared three desserts. Every dish was on point, except my short ribs. I fell to the usual temptation of finding outstanding short ribs since Roy's went south after the Roy's mainland restaurants were bought by a chain restaurant group. I was really eyeing the port chop special, but my stomach got the better of me and I ordered the short ribs. The short ribs were just okay in my book....I judge my decision on whether I would order it again. I would say no at this restaurant. Had the short ribs met my standards, this review would certainly received 5 stars. I docked i one star because of my short rib entree. Everything other dish was fabulous. I would return here in a heart beat!

Yelp
This is a review for "The Wine Bar" next door to The Winery Restaurant. Seems like they had a great selection of wines and beers, but the food portions were beyond small. The "pizza" that was on the menu was in the top of a medium size cracker with cheese and a bit of ham that they call bacon. The oysters were the smallest oyster that I have ever seen. I think their was more horseradish on the plate then the actual oysters combined. The food is a joke!! Just go for a glass of wine or beer and skip the miniature food portions. Service was decent and the space is located at a festive part of the mall. I'll repeat myself, DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE FOOD!! unless you are into micro portions!!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and lovely service! We had the charcuterie board and filets and the best mashed potatoes! I got a mango mouse dessert with berries on it!

Yelp
Just had lunch at the winery today. I always enjoy my meal when I am there. It's a nice restaurant. Well kept. Noise level is just perfect for a good conversation. The food is delicious. I had the scallops and shrimp and it was delicious. My friend had the tacos of the day which happened to be Carnitas today. He really liked them. Most of the time someone from management stopped by to see if your food is good. That happened today. Overall, it's a great place. I go there often for business meetings, but it's also a nice place to go on a date or with friends. It has a nice bar area as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Well last year I gave them 3 stars, but after tonight it was a sure drop down, and 0 would be the best fit for this place. It was not even 5:30pm when we dropped in for some wine and appetizers. At the hostess desk we expressed our intentions and they said "we only serve wine & appetizers at the bar or outside. She said it looks full." I asked her to check just to make sure there were no seats at the bar, or outside. When she returned, she announced "no seats at the 10 seat bar, and we are not going to open the patio." I looked toward the bar, and the bartender plus other staff were staring at my friend and me. Totally uncalled for behavior!!! Nope never going back!!!!!!

Yelp
This place deserves more buzz, good food good drink good service. We know it is during the time of inflation and people's willingness to spend is down, but we really do think this place is worth visiting and everything is done so up to par. We will be back. By the way Savannah makes the best drinks and she gives good service as well.

Yelp
We ate here on Saturday June 3rd and it was such an awesome experience. My wife had a couple of tequila cocktails and I had a Manhattan and it was really good! Ofcourse I loved all the food, but my favorite was the pork belly lollipops! I could just order 3 of those appetizers and I'd be happy haha. My duck was juicy and tender and the deserts were awesome. Jessie the assistant manager there was the best host and is an ambassador to hospitality. I forgot our servers name but he was attentive and there when we needed anything! Also had good recommendations! Can't wait to come here again!

Yelp
Went in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Overall, I wasn't that satisfied with the food. The service was good. Perhaps we just weren't in the mood for what this place has to offer. It likely would've been a better dining experience for a date night. We started with the Crispy Almond Crusted Calamari. I really appreciated the portion of the calamari itself. It was served with sliced cucumbers, for texture I assume, and a "spicy" tomato-saffron aioli. I put the quotation marks on spicy because I tasted none. We also ordered a sangria, which happened to be a white wine sangria that day. The drink was phenomenal. It had just enough sweetness and the hard cider gave it a satisfying bubble. The blackened salmon was cooked medium rare, which I really enjoyed. Again the flavor just didn't do it for me though. The sweet potato fries were hot and crispy. The blacken chicken was also cooked well, in that it was moist but cooked throughout. The blackening seasoning on this gave it a nice spice. The truffle fries were good. As for the dining room, it would make for cozy date night. It wasn't quite fine dining, but definitely not a place for a casual dining experience. And I think that's where we went wrong.

Yelp
Food was a mixed bag. I had the cajun rubbed steak and the Brussel sprouts. The steak is a la carte so there was nothing else on the plate. I suggest a little restaurant prepared steak sauce smeared on the plate for the customer to dip this wonderful steak into to make it over the top. As it was, it was cooked perfectly however the dry rub gave it a dry feel to the mouth without sauce. Call me cray cray. The Brussel sprouts were to die for... delicious! Salmon was equally delicious. Service was great but I could tell he was new to the game so I had to stop him a few times to ask for refills on drinks and sauce . (Hint: get the red wine reduction sauce not the truffle sauce for your steak if you are a sauce person). He wasn't terrible just busy I suppose. The ambiance was peaceful and the seats were comfortable and by the window, perfect.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a cocktail and French onion soup. The cocktail was amazing and I loved how it was a strong drink. The French onion soup tasted good but it was a very small portion for a big price. We also had the Calimari and pizza/flat bread. The calimari was soggy. The flatbread was also a small portion, enough for two to share but three people is pushing it. There was a special of $6.00 glass of rose. I will be back for the cocktails.

Yelp
Great place, great food. A ton of wine options for the wine lovers out there. I got the Maple Leaf Duck Breasts and charcuterie board. Very delicious duck breasts. Tasty and flavorful with the sauce. The charcuterie board was okay, but nothing special you can't get yourself. The UTC mall charge for parking after 2 hours free. Unfortunately, because the wait time was 30-40 minutes, and when we were finally done, we got out of the parking lot 2 minutes after our time so keep that in mind if you are going to wait. Perhaps make a reservation in advance then.

Yelp
SHOP, SIP, AND EAT (4.5 stars) - service, good - food, yum - prices, raised with inflation - portion, fair Not a fan of shopping in San Diego, it's very limited to their malls. But of all the malls down here, I do like UTC. The ambiance, the "variety" of stores, and their restaurant scene. La Jolla is very much my vibes. CRISPY KUROBUTA PORK BELLY LOLLIPOPS ($20) - Cannellini Bean Ragout & Wasabi Yuzu & Toasted Sesame Seeds. THIS was so delicious and a popular menu item to order. The lollipops were more meaty than gelatinous, crispy edges yet with a little char flavor yet tender, and a lightly coated glaze that doesn't overcoat. I can come here again and again and order this and be fine! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WARM HONEY BUTTER CAKE ($13) - Honey Syrup/Mixed Berries/Chantilly. The butter cake was good, moist but a tiny itty bitty dry, moist-dry?! I like my butter cake more on the super moist side. The berries and honey syrup were a nice touch of flavor with the cake and added color for presentation. RECOMMEND. TITO'S CANTELOPE MARTINI ($9) - I love a good sippy! This was a good sippy! I usually take in GreyGoose for my choice of vodka but this was served with Tito's and first time actually having Tito's (I know I know - where the heck have I been?!). Okay, I been missing out, Tito's is pretty good too. Wasn't sure how I'd feel with Tajin on the rim, I have to be in the mood for Tajin with my fruit pairing and would be a first for me to have it with a martini. It worked! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will make plans to stay longer and eat more. JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Yelp
The Duck Breast and Rack of Lamb La Provence as well as the wild mushrooms side and mashed potatoes were all phenomenal! And a very special thank you to our server Steven!!! He guided us perfectly to have the most fantastic evening with my wife. He is a token to this restaurant as well as the Chef! Well done to all! Just don't order your steak that way.

Yelp
Excellent as always! This was my 4th or 5th time at this restaurant and the food, ambiance, and service have been a consistent 5-stars! For tonight's dinner, we had the mini seafood tower that consisted of lobster tail, Alaskan king crab legs, 3 jumbo prawns, 3 raw oysters, and 3 spoons of Hawaiian ahi tuna poke. A small tower was $85, and was just right for 2. All of the seafood were incredibly fresh! We also had the New Zealand rack of lamb for $51 that was served with an assortment of seasonal roasted veggies (artichoke hearts, sundried tomato does, cauliflower, red onions, and zucchini). It was perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. Beautiful presentation! We ordered a side of Truffle Mac n Cheese for $15. It was creamy and delicious! For dessert, we had the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, my personal favorite, for $13. A few glasses of white and red wine, and voilà...a perfect meal and a perfect evening!

Yelp
Winery Restaurant The Winery is located within the UTC Mall. We have had a few successful larger group dinners in the private dining area, but last week we had the opportunity to try the restaurant again. We did not have reservations. The bar area was completely full at 6.00pm but their main restaurant area was quite open. Service was very attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine and appetizers. For the main course we all ordered a few of the fish options. Everyone at the table was very pleased with their selections. During the course of the evening the restaurant did fill and it became a bit loud. They do also offer outdoor seating. Overall, highly recommended.

Yelp
I dined at The Winery a couple of weekends ago with a good friend in celebration of my birthday. I had never been there before and was looking to try something new. The restaurant is spacious, beautiful and modern. There is a main dining area, a bar area and an outdoor patio area. Service was very friendly as were greeted quickly after we were seated , and later checked upon multiple times. My friend and I only see each other a few times a year and I appreciate how we were not rushed at all. My friend and I started by choosing wines. I really liked the wine list. They had several of my favorites from around Napa and Sonoma. Then we ordered the house bread and butter. They do charge for bread there, but it is well worth it. It was so delicious. Then my friend and I decided to cater to our seafood cravings. She ordered the cioppino, and I ordered the special of the day, lobster risotto. The risotto was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed it. At the end, they gave us a free birthday mousse... which was divine. The reasons for only four stars... well, this is a pretty pricy restaurant with plenty of space, and they would not seat me before my friend arrived. I would have preferred to be sitting in a booth with a glass of wine in my hand rather than sitting on the bench outside. Also, they charge $7.50 to split a plate, and when my friends and I go out, we often share a couple entrees, some appetizers, and buy a few drinks. This rule really cramped my ordering style. All in all, it is a beautiful place with great service and delicious food. I recommend going for a special occasion.

Yelp
Came here for a work outing with all my bosses. My biggest issue was the service. We had a reservation on a weekday during their slow period and I felt that it took longer than usual to be tended to when the restaurant was empty. The food was decent, but nothing for me to write more about. Overall, I would not return.

Yelp
We had dinner and drinks there last night, food and service was top notch all the way. Our first time there and we would definitely go back. Peter, our waiter, was knowledgeable about wine, courteous, friendly, made it a special evening. The rest of the staff was great too, we sat inside and enjoyed our table at the back.

Yelp
Not our first time here. This time the service was awful. We had to sit for 20 minutes before someone brought us water after requesting some type of service from the hostess. The food was good as usual but to get our bill after dinner, we had to ask other servers, the hostess and even the water person. Extremely disappointed for the price we paid at this upscale restaurant

Yelp
OK, so I came for a business lunch with some colleagues...and we went because of the Passport coupon from our employer's program. Let me just say, I'll be back for dinner sometime...since I couldn't partake of the cocktails, wines, etc. But, the lunch experience was great... - Great menu and food. I had the Chef Special tacos...three big ones and really tasty! - Outdoor seating was really pleasant - Service was great Only bad thing was that it was in the UTC Mall, which I hate because of the parking. Bottom Line: In any event, we'll be back sometime soon...

Yelp
Service was GREAT!!!!!! Cannot complain at all about that. Food, especially for the price tag, was okay. We had steak with our rosemary... a little heavy on the seasonings. The gnocchi e tons of yummy veggies was pretty good but no seasoning. Had to ask for some salt (to which the wait staff brought us some really good quality salt crystals). The pork belly lollipops were really good but a little luke-warm. Ambiance is quite snobby (referring to the clientele).

Yelp
I'm not sure how fair this is bc we came here on a Saturday night a little past 9pm. We were told initially that we couldn't sit bc the kitchen was closing but then said we could sit in the bar (which was dirty). We wanted to sit outside but was told we could not. After waiting around for about 10-15 mins we helped ourselves to a recently cleaned bar top. Hubby was feeling uncomfortable bc he did not know if we could order food. The bartender saved the day. He did offer us appetizers and drinks and was kind and courteous. There were four of us so we got 4 old fashions and a glass of Napa red wine a charcuteries board and flat bread pizza. Total before tip was $120 (with $150+). All in all a bit expensive but good friendly service notwithstanding host/hostess who need training.

Yelp
Visited the Wine Bar next to the restaurant and it's perfect for catching up during happy hour or lighter eats. Met up with a girlfriend during HH and ordered some cocktails and small bites, like the Pomegranate Margarita and Cantaloupe Martini for $9/each and the Almond dusted Calamari for $15. Cocktails were great and calamari's texture was good; was not chewy at all. The truffle pomme frites (fries) were not on the HH menu, but were flavorful. Service was nice from each server. The Wine Bar has outdoor, indoor, and bar seating and they leave the glass sliding door wide open, which is nice and less stuffy. Very clean.

Yelp
Best happy hour at UTC starting at 3 M-F with great wines. We went to their outdoor wine bar on Friday at 3:15 & had our pick of seats. Place filled up by 4:30ish. $10 house wine from Napa (forgot the name) was good & large enough pour. House salad ($12) is huge, yummy & was a meal for me. Service was friendly & not rushed.

Yelp
5-stars for food!! Drinks nice too. When I order medium rare I want medium rare and they delivered. Drinks nice as well. Not much more to say. If you like the menu I am certain you'll like your food. Everything was stellar.

Yelp
Really nice and vibrant ambiance with attentive service. Plates got clear up quickly to make room for incoming dishes, table got clean up frequently, drinks/water got refilled promptly. Nice menu with many choices. Food is great but probably can be better. Duck breast was great but chicken and steak are a bit dry. We expected that with the prices, meat would be cooked to perfection level. Desserts are delicious. Drinks are ok, nothing to rave about.

Yelp
Such a cool spot with delicious food and amazing wine. I do think it is slightly overpriced but I have been twice and would go back again. They have a real sommelier so that is great for people who enjoy wine. The staff was great too.

Yelp
The Wine Bar is a classic option in UTC! Both the classy restaurant and stand-alone wine bar are lovely. Went to the latter with a member of our company's leadership team and had a delightful time sitting at a high top. Friendly, welcoming service from the waitress. An expansive menu of wines, cocktails, and beer. A cozy yet spacious, well-decorated interior. Enjoyed having a glass of red here!

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday hoping for a quick lunch, left disappointed. My girlfriend and I wanted to grab something to eat in the UTC mall before we head back to work. It seemed to be practically empty with only a few people on the patio who were all finished with their meals. Ambiance of the place looks really chill and definitely seemed more upscale than other places, but only seemed to be and not actually. The food options seemed to be all pretty interesting, but expensive. We wouldn't know how it was supposed to taste since our waiter never came back around to take our orders or be able to answer our simple question that we had. After seating we waited about 15 minutes with only receiving water from a different waiter who also didn't come back around to put in our orders. Since we were on a time crunch we didn't have time to waste. It was fortunate enough that our waiter ended up speaking to the bartender wasting valuable minutes of our lunch so that we could end up going somewhere else, completely unsatisfied from this place. Most likely won't be back unless they make right on the time our waiter decided to waste over chitchat.
