Northwest Atlanta Brewery Scofflaw Brewing Opens Dr. Scofflaw’s Laboratory and Beer Garden at the Works on Chattahoochee Avenue | Eater Atlanta

"An 80-acre mixed-use development that stages retail, dining and events, the complex is hosting a family-friendly outdoor Halloween celebration (noon–6 p.m.) with live music, giveaways, a costume contest, and food and beer from on-site vendors; it is also slated to house a planned second location of a popular barbecue restaurant and a forthcoming 22,000-square-foot food hall and test kitchen created by James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Zimmern and restaurateur Robert Montwaid." - Beth McKibben

We ordered the Tampa Cuban and the Clockwork Melt (a proper smash burger,) and both were delicious. Delicious bread, generous portions and the potato crisps were fresh and hot! It’s great to have a new local place in Dunnellon with great food, very kind and friendly service with very reasonable prices to boot. Highly recommend!

A Delicious Experience from Start to Finish We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive—setting the tone for a great meal. We started with a charcuterie board, and it was the perfect appetizer—beautifully presented and full of flavor, with a great mix of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. Each bite was a treat. For our main course, we each chose something different, and every dish was a hit. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was perfectly pressed and packed with bold, savory flavor. I had The Works Italian, and it was incredible—generous portions, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice and seasoning. My daughter chose The Works Turkey Melt, and she absolutely loved it—tender turkey, delicious toppings, and hearty bread that tied it all together. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we’ll order next time. Highly recommend—this spot is a gem! So glad this place came to the small town of Dunnellon, it will be a new go to place for us.

My mom, aunt and I visited for dinner. The atmosphere was cool 😎 steam punk themed. You order at the front counter then they will bring the food out to the table you choose. Cherri was a fantastic waiter! She was very attentive and friendly! She answered all the questions I had. I really enjoyed the lock 🔐 washer French fries 🍟 highly recommend those! My aunt tried the red skin potato 🥔 salad and she said it was 👏 amazing! They make it homemade and it was one of the best ones she has had at a restaurant. They offer soups 🍲 of the day as well. We tried the chocolate 🍫 overload cake and tiramisu cake 🎂 both were very good 👍 the chocolate one is very rich and the tiramisu is a lighter in flavor dessert. Overall a great experience and I will be returning soon to try more menu items 😋🥗🥪

The Works Bistro may be on track to be Dunnellon’s best restaurant in town! The phyllo rolls of 4 beef Wellington deluxe minis came out piping hot. In fact too hot, however the meat inside was tender. It needed more gravy. It was served with the bistro’s habanero bacon jam. This is more like a bacon chutney with a deliciously sweet heat. The kind that slowly, unknowingly opens your sinuses, but because the taste is so sweet its sneaks up on you. This jam was not paired well with these Wellington minis but I saved mine for my spiral fries because it was just that good! Our main dishes were the Frisco Melt and a Tampa Cuban. The frisco melt is a caramelized smash burger with Swiss cheese that delicious habanero bacon jam on a sourdough bread. This was so good! The bread was soft yet firm enough to hold everything together. Again that habenero bacon jam stole the show! If the works isn’t selling that jam by the jar they are missing out on $! We also enjoyed the Tampa Cuban a pressed pulled beef, roasted pork, Ham salami, pickles, Swiss cheese and spicy DG mustard on authentic Cuban bread. The bistro put a generous amount of meat on this Cuban and perfectly pressed it with the right number of pickles to get a delicious mouthful crunch! To say the food was good is an understatement. If they continue to meet this quality at each visit they will easily be the best restaurant in town!

Cute location. Plenty of seating strange obsession with pictures of cats. Food was tasty, maybe weird to say but the serving size was a bit much. Would definitely eat here again.

1st time trying this cool new spot, I ordered the smash burger and Wellington bites, delicious! The fries are a must try too. Great service, great food, I will make this a regular stop.

Google
The steampunk theme was great and I loved the little touches they had around d the restaurant. I had the Miami Cuban and my husband the Brass Bolted Butcher and we both had the lockwasher fries. They were both delicious and plentiful, we each took home 1/2 a sandwich and some fries. The staff was wonderful and checked in often and was willing to answer any questions we had. Definitely going again.

Google
First time eating here, and recommend. The food was delicious. Best tomato & basil soup I have had. The mini beef wellingtons perfect and flavorsome. The mini sliders tasty, with the beef patties perfectly cooked. An excellent salad and nice fries. From what we could see, the food that other customers ordered looked equally as delicious. Excellent service and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
An old motel with new life. Great ambiance once you get inside and really good food. Definitely worth the visit. Excellent service in friendly people.

Yelp
Small on the outside, Big on taste. This once upon a time old motel has been turned into a cafe with a streampunk flare. Service is friendly and warm, the menu is extensive and when you get told the soup is broccoli and cheese soup, you get the soup! It was tasty as was my Quiche Lorraine - its my favorite thing to get when Im at a chi chi place, and theirs was delecteble. Usually they come with a side of fruit, today i was given an upgrade to 2 raspberry and cheese blintzes and they were good. This is a slept on place. Try it, you're gonna LOVE it

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and I keep coming back. The foods are delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. Tried the soup, quiche. sandwich so far, next I'll make it a wrap. I'm sure it will be as good as the others because this place is excellent all around.

My mom and I recently went here for lunch and the sandwiches were delicious. I got the Ruben and my mom got the turkey melt. The service was great too.

Yelp
The location only has 10 tables inside but also has some seating outside under shade. We were seated quickly for an early Saturday lunch and waited on immediately. The staff is extremely nice and checked on us often. I ordered the Miami Cuban sandwich which was delicious. The fries were amazing! My son had the Works Turkey Melt which he also enjoyed. The portions are large so we took half home to eat later. Highly recommend this gem!

Yelp
Pulled up onto this little gem after visiting our vet. Hungry and in the mood to resolve that quickly. Charming building, took over what was once a little motel. We choose to sit outside as they have a beautiful shad covering. Our waitress was incredible I should get better at asking for names. I had an espresso, actually a double because who has a single? Don't come here for the espresso though, it's not bad but you need to be here for the mouthwatering sandwiches. Wifey went with the Italian sub, tried and true. She loves to judge a place off this and it didn't disappoint. Her only complaint was that baguette was a little tough. I went with the classic Ruben, as I was torn on what to have I went with my staple. Sandwich was a 7.8/10. Meat was plentiful and delicious, sauerkraut was divine as well as the thousand island. Only thing that could have elevated this was a better bread. Not that the bread was bad just I'll say it a bit basic. Now the fries, unique, seasoned to perfection dreamy 9/10. Wife gives them 10/10 she knows better than I. Will we be back, you best believe it. Top it off they provide a military discount. The works bistro works! 9.5/10 overall experience.

Yelp
My husband and I went for a light dinner and our sandwiches were delicious and service was excellent. We will return as we live nearby.

Yelp
I stopped by her for the first time last Sunday and I was not disappointed. Lilly, my server, was amazing and very informative. I had the Steak Sandwich and the Ribeye was lean as can be, caramelized onions were delish and the spicy jam (I ordered on the side) made it every zestier. I LOVE the artisanal bread they use here at The Works Bistro. The potato salad WAS the best I've had in this area and they added hard boiled egg to it and rosemary which elevated it to a great degree: BEST in area. Next up I'll be trying the Reuben sandwich (which I believe may be one of their best sellers) and this time I'll bring my hubby around. Homemade desserts too..and they look wonderful, especially the Tiramisu that, had I NOT been on Weight Watchers, I would've instantly snagged...but that will be my "reward" when I hit my goal. LOL I'll be back and ask for Lilly. She's got a great personality and the service was super fast, as was check-out: no waiting that I've experiences at other places. A+ Give it a try: YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Yelp
Went around 1pm and was sat immediately and had the best service by far out of any restaurant I've been too in a while. The food came out quick with a great presentation and tasted even better, I got the chicken wrap and it was by far better than any place I've ever eaten out at to get one. Please come give this bistro a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

Yelp
Service was great, sandwiches were even better! Highly recommended! Sandwiches are large cut in half. My husband and our friend ordered two different sandwiches, then exchanged half with each other.
