An Indian Restaurant From An Overseas Celebrity Chef Heads to Plano | Eater Dallas

"An Indian restaurant chain originating in India that is opening its first Texas location this summer as only the fourth U.S. outpost. Founded and menu-created by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, the concept promises a “gastronomic tour” across India with an extensive menu: highlights include shaam savera (spinach koftas filled with creamed cottage cheese, served floating on a tomato butter gravy) and puran singh da tariwala murgh (a chicken gravy), along with a long list of curries, soups, salads, rice dishes, Indian flatbreads, and entrees featuring chicken, fish, lamb or vegetarian options. The debut date is forthcoming." - Alaena Hostetter

Absolutely loved the flavors here! Definitely try nawabi paneer sangam, amritsari machhi and shahi tukda! Way too good. My friends loved meen moileec thats the fish with coconut curry! Definitely give it a try! Very few restaurants in DFW that serve food with normal spices but heavy on flavors!

We visited Yellow Chili to celebrate a special day. We didn’t have reservations, so we arrived a bit early around 6:50 PM. The restaurant wasn’t too busy at that time, and the staff was able to seat us right away. The food was excellent—especially the Lamb Chops starter, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ordered a mix of mocktails, cocktails, as well as both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The mocktails were refreshing and really well made. However, the cocktails (we tried bourbon and Buffalo Trace options) were just okay, and I wouldn’t personally recommend them. Overall, we had a great dining experience and enjoyed our evening. One area the restaurant could improve on is general upkeep—the floors and parts of the interior could use regular maintenance, as they didn’t seem to be in the best shape. Still, the food and service made it a nice place to celebrate.

My babe and I truly enjoyed the food, service AND ambiance! We came for lunch and had the butter chicken and curry goat with naan. Everything was very flavorful and sooo good! Our server Alex was very attentive and helpful with the menu. We will absolutely return and bring some friends. 10/10 recommend!

We recently visited The Yellow Chili in Plano for the first time, and overall, we had a really good experience — especially when it came to the food. Everything we ordered was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. I can see why so many people recommend this place, and I’d absolutely go back again for the dishes alone. The restaurant itself is a bit smaller inside than I expected from the outside, but once we were seated, I was impressed by how elegant and welcoming it looked. The décor is stylish yet comfortable, and the lighting and atmosphere make it feel warm and inviting. It’s definitely one of those places that feels perfect for both a casual dinner and a special night out. Now, onto the food — we ordered two main dishes: the Butter Chicken and another one that had a coconut-based sauce (I wish I could remember the name!). Both were delicious, rich, and full of complex flavors. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced without being overpowering, and the coconut dish had this subtle sweetness that balanced everything beautifully. The portion sizes were generous too, which was a nice surprise. Where the experience fell short, unfortunately, was the service. We mentioned to our waitress that it was our first time visiting and that we weren’t too familiar with Indian cuisine, hoping she might offer a few recommendations or explain some of the options. Instead, she just looked at us as if we were joking and didn’t offer any suggestions at all. It was a little awkward, and it made us feel like we were bothering her just by asking. Because of that, we ended up just ordering a couple of main dishes instead of exploring appetizers or other menu items — which was disappointing, since we genuinely wanted to learn more about the cuisine. I think a little friendliness or guidance would have gone a long way in making the experience more welcoming. Despite that, I can’t say enough good things about the food itself. Every bite was delicious, and it’s clear that the kitchen knows what they’re doing. If the service had matched the quality of the food and the atmosphere, this would have been an easy five-star review. Overall, I’d still recommend The Yellow Chili to anyone who loves flavorful, authentic Indian food. Just be prepared that the service might not be as warm or attentive as you’d hope — but the food is definitely worth the visit.

Had the worst experience and worst food at this restaurant. Ordered some appetisers, biryani and thaali. Appetisers were ok not that great. Then came the biryanis. No salt. No taste. Nothing but just rice and chicken. Told the server about it. He checked and said he’ll not be charging for 1 out of 2 tasteless biryani. Asked for onions on the side but the server said we need to order an onion salad for charge. We ordered only to get cucumbers with fungus and onions that aren’t even freshly cut. When I showed it to the server, he said “I need to go check in the kitchen”.. he went and came back scraping the fungus part of the cucumber and says it’s just the head of cucumber. Ridiculous. It’s clearly fungus and this what they serve their customers. Didn’t even apologise for the situation. One of the worst restaurant ever! Never ever going back and ruining my special days.

Google
If you’re looking for truly authentic, flavorful, and boldly spicy Indian cuisine, The Yellow Chili is easily one of the best restaurants you can visit. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth of the atmosphere — the aromas of freshly ground spices, slow-cooked curries, and tandoor dishes immediately set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. One of the biggest highlights of my visit was the service, especially from Amy, our server. She was absolutely fantastic — attentive without being intrusive, genuinely welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She guided us through the dishes with confidence, offering spot-on recommendations based on what we liked. Her friendliness and professionalism made the entire experience even better. The food at The Yellow Chili is where this restaurant truly shines. Every dish tastes authentically Indian — rich, layered, and prepared with real skill. If you love spicy food, this place delivers the heat the right way: not just spice for the sake of spice, but deep, complex flavors that build with every bite. The curries were perfectly balanced, the tandoori items came out juicy with that signature smoky flavor, and the biryani was aromatic, vibrant, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs here take pride in what they do. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the quality is consistently top-tier. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, there’s something on the menu that will absolutely impress you. Overall, The Yellow Chili is truly a great Indian restaurant, offering authentic dishes packed with flavor, real spice, and outstanding service. With Amy taking care of us and the kitchen delivering exceptional food, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Google
Don’t be fooled by the pictures—the camera did a good job. Not sure where to begin. I’ve never been to a restaurant where you don’t even know who your server is until it’s time to pay the bill. The service was absolutely terrible. As for the ambiance, there’s really nothing worth mentioning except for one nice wall painting of a woman. The food was overloaded with masala and lacked anything memorable—biryani was so bad- though the dessert was surprisingly good.

Yelp
Forgot to take photos of this place. The food is super yummy! The server we had was also very interactive with us. The mural on the wall was my favorite part of the ambiance.

Yelp
Family went here for lunch to find service was poor. Veg food entrees was very salty. On top of this everything was over-priced most entree prices above $18 and quantities were relatively very small.
google avatar

Todd C.

Yelp
The reviews are correct. Once you order you will never see the server again until he brings the bill. I think Jose was our server and he only had us and one other table. He knew that none of us had our teas or waters refilled the entire time, but didn't matter. Nope. Shut it down.

Yelp
I was in Dallas visiting friends in mid-July and they took me to eat at The Yellow Chilli in Plano. I'd actually been there once before with them. It was surprisingly empty when we went but the food was again delicious! There were only two people working that day and only one bartender and there seemed to be a disconnect between the person taking our orders and preparing the drinks. I had asked for a dry gin martini with a lemon twist but first got a dirty one (with olive juice) so I sent it back and then they brought me one with a lime, which was actually nice so I drank it. They were pleasant and fixed it quickly. The second one they made with a lemon twist. We ordered a variety of dishes that we shared and unfortunately I can't remember the names of them anymore, but we will probably go back there again the next time I visit them!

Yelp
Minus the poopy seeds, the food was great and full of flavor. The heat was real the real deal and definitely will return. Hopefully by then they edit their menu so my daughter doesn't stop laughing and pointing it out when we go.

Jimy M.

Yelp
Super salty food. And breads were crunchy instead of soft and fluffy. We ordered 1 appetizer , 2 meat and 2 veggie plates , 1 veg thali, 2 desserts. Cost 220$ Pyaaz Masala Paneer , Adaraki Dhaniya Paneer and came super salty. We asked server to fix it and it came out salty even after being fixed. We just had to accept the taste and move on. We waited for 30+ minutes for appetizers to be served and 50+ minutes for main course. Surprisingly Restaurant was not busy but delay did not make sense. Desert was just ok not super awesome. Prices are premium but quality, quantity, service was super bad. There are so many better Indian restaurants in Dallas. This is overrated and not worth the hype! Ambiance is beautiful but serving plates are just ok.

Yelp
The food was really yummy, though the service was a little slow. But we went at opening time, so maybe that's why. The ambiance was amazing!! Loved the decor

Yelp
Food here is below avg for an upscale Ind restaurant. Save your $$ and go somewhere else. They just rely on the chefs name but the food is nothing like it.

L G.

Yelp
Overrated. Food was just so so. It was over priced and the quality was meh. Chatpatta Sheekh Kebab was dry and overcooked. The rest of the dishes was actually disappointing. Ambiance is nice and service was good. I guess you would go there for those 2 reasons.

Yelp
Bakwas food but 5 star decor and top notch service. Is there even a desi chef inside the kitchen at all?

Yelp
I finally found myself up in North Dallas recently, and was able to get takeout from this restaurant on my trek back down South. I thought this was good, but not better than my usual stop in downtown Dallas. My partner who can't tolerate any spice was unable to eat the food. I ordered it "mild" which is always subjective at Indian restaurants, but this was definitely not mild enough for him that we would visit again.
google avatar

Riya P.

Yelp
Oh finally there is a decent restaurant in Dallas that serves good Indian food! I think I haven't had this good Indian food at a restaurant for a while now! The service is good as well! And I like the drinks menu, particularly

Yelp
Everything from the cute decor, cleanliness, and food is amazing. We've been here several times, can't go wrong with the gol guppa , lamb chops, biryani and butter chicken. We always top it off with the huge gulab Jamun
google avatar

Maya T.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Yellow Chilli. We tried the butter chicken, Pudina Murgh Tikka, and murgh bhuna masala and butter naan. The naan was very tasty and you could eat it by itself. The chicken dishes were also flavorful. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Cute little spot, service was okay.
google avatar

Genevieve M.

Yelp
Dessert was the favorite part of the meal- partly because I have a sweet tooth and because the Gulab-gulkand and the kesari kulfi was a meal on its own. The rose essence and the unusually large gulab was a treat coupled with the saffron kulfi. The biriyani was full of flavor and cooked in a pot that was sealed with dough to keep in the flavor and aroma. The paneer and the chicken dish were ok. The pudina (mint) murg tikka appetizer was flavorful and a great start to the meal. The restaurant was busy and service was friendly and attentive. The food presentation was impressive ( especially the desserts and the biryani). Definitely a place I would want to explore their other menu items.

Yelp
Food is amazing, service is very good and ambience is also very good. We came few times , quality of food is amazing.

Yelp
Not sure what the hype is about.... Visiting from out of state on a business trip, stopped by for dinner on a week day. We ordered a few drinks and entrees. We tried adraki paneer, mix veggies and dal tadka dhaaba with mixed naan basket. Everything was Ok. Nothing memorable. The 3 stars are for a decent drink....i tried the skullbreaker. Service was ok. Ambience is forgettable. For someone who likes Sanjeev Kapoor for his recipes & his shows, this didnt match up the hype.

Genevie C.

Yelp
I have really rich experience on the yellow chilli With Ally and Jen at the bar! The food is delicious and they have a wide variety of liquors and cocktails Don't listen to all the bad reviews, I invite you to visit the place.

Gary P.

Yelp
Bakhwas Place. Sorry Sanjeev Kapoor - your reputation is going down the drain. Ordered Mushroom Shorba - was cold, bitter returned. They initially said they had tomato soup and when we requested for it they said they didn't have it. Tandoori Hara Chicken - Garlicky Bitter Chettinad chicken - no salt and spicy Spinach Paneer - bitter and spicy Never coming back and would not recommend. The two star is for ambience and service.

Yelp
I Heard about the yellow chili restaurant from a friend. And I was so excited when I saw the reviews and pictures online, so I made a reservation on the OpenTable app 2 Weeks prior. I did not find the taste remarkable; it certainly did not live up to the standards of chef Sanjeev Kapoor's recipes, the hallmark of tasty Indian cooking. The Food quality and quantity are not worth the price. The dessert was delicious, but the appetizers and main course were moderate. For appetizers, we ordered Vodka Pani Puri(very bland). The Hyderabad dum biryani was sweet(no biryani is supposed to be). The service was unsatisfactory, and they were in a hurry, not even taking time to answer any questions. But the worst aspect for me was that when I ordered the food and asked the server to make the biryani a little spicy, he directly informed us that it was a north Indian cuisine restaurant and not to expect them to add any more spiciness. Not only was the server harsh, but the service took more than half an hour to present. I would not recommend this place. Instead of the high prices and the dissatisfactory service, the ambiance of a celebrity chef's restaurant was the silver lining of this experience.

Monali D.

Yelp
Great ambience, good service and good food!! We had a good time here. Loved Harippa Paneer Tikka, Shaam Savera and the bread basket, the rotis here are perfect! The curries come with a portion of rice. Generous entree portions, appetizers can be shared by 2-3. And the desserts, Shahi Tukda and gajar ka halwa are not only gorgeous to look at but delicious too! Perfect sweet level! Loved it!
google avatar

Yelp
Lunched here and had an ok experience. Service was good, food was ok, but prices are a bit steep! Not sure I'd come back since I might get more "bang for my buck" elsewhere.

Ira B.

Yelp
Food was fabulous Service a bit uneven but flavor made up for it Butter chicken was great and the paneer was amazing

Yelp
Came here for a Friday lunch, and the food was fantastic! The service was great and helpful when we had questions. The food came out in a quick and reasonable amount of time, and it was fairly quiet inside with a variety of seating and great lighting all throughout. A good spot for authentic Indian cuisine!

Yelp
It was a Thursday evening, we didn't do reservations, so instead of waiting for our seat, we decided to sit on the bar. Let me tell you, the bar experience was great. The bar tender is super friendly and jolly. He made sure we weren't left out from the rest. I began my evening with Peru Pyala- it was slightly sweet but the red chilli masala on the rim was a perfect balance. Loved the idea of sweet and spice on this drink. For the appetizer, we had the tandoor chicken - half. It was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy on the inside. The green chutney on the side was the perfect side. For the main course, we had the Paneer do Pyaaza and Puran Singh da tari wala murgh. My personal favorite was the paneer dish. The blend of Masala and onions is super super rich. Plus the cottage cheese was so soft. Chicken dish wasn't as expected but good taste. The only negative thing which I found was the wait time between the appetizer and main course. We waited for almost 40-45 mins. There was a big table which had lot of orders but definitely didn't expect the wait for us to be this long. Nevertheless, i had a wonderful dinning experience. Delicious food and great fusion content. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Ajay G.

Yelp
I had a great time here, but after I left I realized something. I realized that I didn't have a good time here because of the food or service. I had a good time here because I was with some of my best friends and I love eating with them. The actual food here is pretty bad. The service is also kinda awful. The naan here was $14 a basket which is ridiculous. The naan was also cold.
google avatar

Raymond J.

Yelp
Loved everything I tried, didn't know the prices as the tab was paid by my team. All the food was really good from my standards and that isn't saying much since I'm not from south India. Great service, great drinks, apps and entrees. In the happening part of town
google avatar

Yelp
Disclaimer: The Review is purely based on the Items I Ordered. Just Avoid this Place !!! Inspite of not having expectations(Probably had expectation that they would serve decent Indian Food), this place disappointed to the core. Masala Papad and Peshawari Naan were Ok. Bhuna Gosht which was mentioned as slow cooked was still hard and with less salt and more spice. The Dum Ghost Biryani was atrocious. It lacked flavor and dint not even attempt to eat after the first serving and left it . Guess it is better not to talk more about this. Pros: -------- Decent Ambiance Free Parking Friendly Host Clean Restrooms Cons: --------- FOOD Spend your Money Elsewhere. Not returning for Sure and would definitely advice all my friends to avoid.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dining experience yesterday here! Our family of 4 enjoyed sharing some amazing dishes starting with the bread basket and Chatpatta Seekh Kebab then we enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Murgh Noormahal Biryani! We finished with the mango ice cream dessert! It was so tasty and the service, ambiance, and finally, a personal visit by Poonam, the owner, made it an extremely special outing! We will be back! Thank you!
google avatar

Neil S.

Yelp
Seeing mixed reviews online and also hearing the same from other people we decided to give this place a shot yesterday. I have to say I was very impressed by the amazing food and the service. We ordered meat platter which comprised of chicken kabab, hariyali tikka and fish. The taste was pretty good compared to the Indian food I have had in Austin. We also ordered lamb shank rogan josh and have to say it was one of the most flavorful things I have eaten in a while. The lamb shank was falling off the bone and the curry was perfect! I would definitely go here again when in Dallas. The service was also very polite and quick.

Rama P.

Yelp
Not worth the price we paid. Apart from the desserts, everything else was just average. While the presentation was decent, the taste lacked any standout flavors--there was no 'wow' factor, and the food was quite bland. The customer service was terrible, adding to the disappointment. The ambiance felt more like a typical fast-food joint, with no private seating or unique touches. It seems the fame of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is what's pulling the crowd, but the experience doesn't live up to the hype. I wouldn't recommend visiting this place.

Charles S.

Yelp
First time visit for a work team dinner. We ordered almost every item on the menu and the food was excellent. The naan bread was fresh, light, and thin. The best naan I've ever had. All the chicken dishes were tender and juicy. Fish was fresh, paneer was excellent. This place is a must try if you like Indian cuisine. I will definitely come again with family and friends.
google avatar

Meenakshi M.

Yelp
Really really oily food. And no taste, quite bland. I can't believe this is the same Sanjeev Kapoor chain that we have in India. Very pricey too. Please avoid.

Yelp
February 2022 I'd been wanting to try out this restaurant for a long time and that day finally came one fine weekend. We made reservations so that there would be no hiccups (there's a $10/person cancellation fees for no shows and they hold your table for 10 minutes from the time of the reservation). This decor is modern with bright lights all around, a decently sized bar area and Indian music playing in the background (the music, however, was a little random). The restaurant feels classy and is comparable to other high end restaurants. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, so we were seated in the bar area to check out the menu and order a few drinks if we wished, and that's EXACTLY what we did. My friends ordered Indian mule and I went for the classic old fashioned. The bartender was knowledgeable and very helpful. I wanted my base to have a spicy note so he suggested me a few options and I appreciated that. For appetizers, we started with Masala Papad which was pretty good. The green chutney that is served on the table was fantastic. We then ordered the Harippa Paneer Tikka (it was cooked to perfection and the paneer just melted in our mouths) and Chatpatta Seekh Kebab (A mix of minced chicken and lamb). They were all fantastic and flavorful and we all loved it. For main course, we went with Shaam Savera (A blend of cottage cheese with spinach and tomato gravy as its base) and garlic naan. To be honest, this was a little disappointing since the tomato gravy was on the sweeter side. We slowly but surely crept our way to the desert section. We ordered - Gulab-e-Gulkand, Rasmalai and Sahi Tukda. We all felt the deserts were the show stoppers and let me just put it out there, the gulab jamun is one chunky boi. It's HUGEEE. The presentation was just perfect and the taste was rich. The prices are a little on the expensive side but the quality, presentation and the taste of the food justify the expensive price tag. The service was impeccable, the food, delicious, and I'd easily recommend this place for anyone to enjoy a good evening with friends and family alike.

Yelp
We were very excited about visiting this place before we arrived. But they proved us wrong from the start, We had an appointment at 8:30pm and we arrived 15 mins early. The server mentioned they are preparing the table and we should have the table in 10 mins. It was 8:30pm and we still dint get our table, there were no vacant tables. I am not sure how they commit to reservations if there are already people eating at the tables. Finally we got our table at 8:45pm. We ordered food and drinks and honestly everything tasted really good. We were really impressed with the quality and the taste. So it was my father- in -law's bday and got a cake along with us, but we were so full that we decided to just cut the cake and take it home. At Yellow Chilli's, there is a policy that if we get cake from another places, we would have to pay 3$ per person when the cake is served. So here we expected they would just charge for one or 2 people, as we did not use any of their plates or cutlery for the cake, but they charged for all 6 of us. So my husband went and spoke to the manager about this and also the experience in general. Here comes the worst part, so the manager/server named Jose was so rude that when my husband spoke about his concerns and he they kept us waiting...he gave such rude answer saying," if you dont like the place then you dont have to come, this is how it is in this place"...this put me off completely, he could ve handled it politely as we were not adamant about the price. They over charged us with 44$ for the cake and when we asked about it they corrected the price. And so we decided to write about the server/manager and asked him his name. He had the audacity to even spell his name when he mentioned his name. Lastly i would just like to state that, even though food quality and presentation plays a major role, customer service takes a heap on it. We have not been treated properly when we were there to have a nice time, and so would not be recommending this place to anyone.

Jerry K.

Yelp
My first time having Tandoori Salmon and I'm hooked. What a great combination. Available as a meal or appetizer. More upscale than most Indian restaurants I've tried. Great place.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Typically I don't care about the interior of a restaurant as long as everything is clean, but I'll make an exception for this review - that's how stunning the interior is for a place that's supposedly "casual." The interior is cozy yet stylish, and I just felt like the place was trendy yet still a hole-in-the-wall at the same time. Now onto the food, since this is what the review is supposed to be about - it's decadent Indian food. I had the malai kofta, and it was luxurious. Typically I associate Indian food with comfort and inexpensive eats, but this was a different experience. I would recommend this to people who can appreciate their spices - compliments to the chef on making Indian food so upscale
google avatar

Rashmi S.

Yelp
We have been coming to this place for more than a year now. Never disappointed with the quality of the food. This time we tried appetizer made up for Plantain and it was good, what we didn't like was the kofta, it was potato based and very bland. Overall good place to try if you haven't already.
google avatar

Shilpi H.

Yelp
The food and service was really good. We got daal tadka that was really tasty. The paneer do pay a was average. The naans were fresh. But I was not impressed by the ambiance of the restaurant nor the presentation of the food.

Sparsh J.

Yelp
The Yellow Chilli is not worth the money or time. The food was flavorless and overpriced for the quantity / quality of food. We had to pick up food from a different restaurant on the way home to feed our guests; needless to say, we were not satisfied. The lamb chops had SOME flavor but still not worth it. We ordered some curries... my American friend cooking Indian food (at home) puts more spice in their food than Yellow Chilli. One of the curries seemed to have a replica gravy... The redemption (we'll call it that) is the naan was tasty with the freshly ground garlic. If you're interested in bland food, high prices, and small quantities, this is the place to you!

Kevin M.

Yelp
The service in this restaurant was great! The ambience and environment in the restaurant is unique and amazing. The food is really good I recommend it.
google avatar

Joe L.

Yelp
We came here with 5 guys and somehow spent $430 gratuity was included. We did offer 4 cocktails. I didn't have a chance to review the final receipt but I am not sure if we really spent that much. Anyways the food was actually quite delicious and filling. Our server was great we didn't get his name. We had a mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes. I am in between 3 and 4 stars more so for the price. We were also squished into a booth for 4 people and they were unable to accommodate us for a larger table. Behind us was the same 4 top booth but 6 people squeezed in I guess we shouldn't complain...

Yelp
I had a lovely dinner with my foodie journalist friend and hubby. My friend and I have travelled globally and have enjoyed food around the world from some of the world's best exclaimed chef so when we meet we make it a point to try a new place that focuses on good food before ambience. The food here was fantastic and the flavors were really good! But the ambience did not disappoint either. I highly recommend this place!

Noshin J.

Yelp
Excellent menu options with a twist on drinks. A warm ambiance and welcoming staff. The lamb chops were fantastic as an appetizer and fulfilling! We also ordered the vodka pani puri shots, which were a nice surprise of authentic taste and a kick! For the main dish we ordered the Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh, which was filled with flavor and the right amount of spices- simply delicious!!!

Yelp
I'm so HAPPY a new Indian restaurant opened in Plano. So close to Legacy- love to see the representation! The interior decor is awesome and also has a FULL bar with some VERY creative drink options. Such as masala chai with jameson whiskey and vodka pani puris LOL. Ngl this place isn't the cheapest- BUT it's extremely tasty! For 3 people with gosht biryani, chicken masala, chicken tikka masala, 3 garlic naans, 2 kulfi rabbdis and 3 drinks total was $140 incl tax n tip. But split it among 3 people and it's worth it :)

Yelp
So we went in about 40mins before close on a Wednesday night and let me tell you I was IMPRESSED. At no point did I feel rushed. Service was genuine and friendly. Very much appreciated! The servers all wear mask and gloves. The tables are socially distant. There was enough of a crowd for a Wednesday! We just got drinks and an appetizer. I tried the lychee Serrano Margarita. It was delish, strong, and ginormous. It had an actual kick to it too! Loved it. We tried the tikka paneer app which was also amazing!!! All around an awesome place with awesome food and awesome service! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Can't go lower than this. So giving it atleast one star. Food was not great honestly. If it was just food would still give it a maximum of 3 stars. But the service was utterly shit. The server along with the manager Jose who didn't try and understand the situation but was aggressive from get go would earn negative 5 stars but the app wouldn't allow. No one told us there is a max of 90 mins for a table. The server literally told us to leave since they had reservation at 8. Which we were never made aware of. For a restaurant that charges premium rates they got to hire a better staff and a better cook. I hope Sanjeev Kapoor can atleast take time to put his principles to practice and train his staff!!
