Third Coast Hot Dogs

Went here for the second time after a very long bicycle ride on a Friday afternoon. Did not disappoint yet again! The first time we waited a while but it was well worth it and the owner was very communicative about how long it would take for our dogs. He’s a one man show and managed everything so well! It saddens me to see people on here reviewing this place so harshly because they didn’t get a hot dog!! My hubby got a Bae city and I got a La Rodeo with vegan cream cheese. Everything was amazing! I really like the buns he uses because they stay in tact and are delicious! My hubby got the Bae city for the second time and considers it the best hot dog he has ever had which is super flattering coming from him and a little sad for me as my hot dogs are hopefully the #2 spot in his heart?!!? The way they grill their hot dogs and use quality buns and a variety of delicious toppings, not to mention the go getter, gracious and hard working attitude from the owner will keep us coming back again and again to support this small business. And hopefully come back with enough cash next time!!! You’re doing an amazing job!!

Third coast has some of the best flavors they top their hot dogs with. Crazy delicious specials. Tasty NA drinks you can add booze of your choice. Been going every weekend due to not missing the specials. Owner is super chill

This has been my favorite hotdog and mocktail spot for over a year! I love seeing Sage get the recognition his hard work deserves, but I’m very disappointed in the people who saw the (awesome!) viral video and are complaining because they thought they were the only ones to see it. It’s a one man show. Sage is offering you EVERYTHING for a chill hang. Be chill and enjoy the best hot dogs you’ll ever have.

All around great place with great people, food, and drinks! Vegan hot dogs are amazing. Haven’t had a single style that wasn’t amazing. One dog is filling, but they’re so good I always have to order two. Sage does a killer job and is always working hard to get the dogs & drink out fast.

Great no frills spot to grab a hot dog, or vegan dog, and hang with friends. Generously loaded dogs and cold drinks are all that is needed. Meet new people and join in the great community that this spot has created!

One of our favorite “friends in town”, late night eats, craving a dog, or “feels like home” spots in Portland. The number of times I’ve heard “best hot dog of my life” here is unmatched. Understand that this place is essentially a one-man-show, but it’s quite possibly the best in town. Come with a modicum of respect, a dash of chill, & air of understanding and you’ll be treated like family. I highly recommend any dog (vegan or meat) that sounds up your alley. Dog specials are always next level. Look out for the $2 Rainier deal (on Thursday I think). Ghost Town IPA hits the spot and is regularly on draft as well.

Super tasty food/drinks and great service! As a lifelong vegetarian having such amazing vegan options is incredible. I had the vegan P.A.T. and it was delicious and my boyfriend loved the Hellpaso. The owner had just blown the keg of the beer I wanted but was very helpful in recommending a different drink that was just as great. This is a very small shop that apparently every person in Portland saw on social media recently and there’s one guy running everything so KNOW THAT before going in. It’s very impressive how this place has handled the MASSIVE surge in popularity, and people being annoyed about the owner selling out of items/long wait times/whatever is super lame. 10/10 will be back and also will be patient as they figure out the new challenges that come with the popularity.

Such a cool spot and great food! Always a fresh dog, I don’t mind waiting because I haven’t been disappointed yet. I’ve tried 6 dogs and a few drinks, and I’d def recommend this place.

Best hot dogs we've ever had! Great service! Very cool vibe! Definetly coming back! Recommend Hell Paso and Bae City!
