"Freshly reopened after a remodel last spring, family-owned Tho Tuong has been locally beloved for almost 30 years for its Vietnamese-style barbecue, centering around pork and duck. The hours are limited to daytime and the lunch menu is brief, with duck and pork done two ways — roasted and crackly or glazed and barbecued. The classic fave is the lunch box, where you can pick two or three meats with steamed rice, pickled mustard greens, jalapenos, a mess of fresh herbs and green onions, and a cup of nuoc leo (a dark, flavorful broth) for dipping and/or pouring over everything. The combo can also be ordered in soup form, as a steamy bowl of noodles in broth loaded with your choice of meats. Sometimes, though, the move is just to order a pound of barbecued pork and walk away snacking on the shiny scarlet slices — a personal box of porky candy, just for you." - Meg van Huygen, Sue Kidd

"This Lincoln District spot is run by a father-and-daughter duo who make some of the best barbecue crispy pork and duck around. The most expensive things max out at $16, and you can decide whether you want your meal as a soup with egg noodles, or as a lunch plate over rice. We’re perennial suckers for the luxe roast pork with the stripe of crispy skin attached. Also, if you’re not feeling the full meal deal, you can just get a box of delicious roasted meat with nothing else to distract you from it. There are no wrong choices here." - meg van huygen

If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Vietnamese BBQ, look no further. I tried the combo meat noodle soup and it SLAPPED. Pork belly was so crispy and crunchy, that was definitely my favorite part. They do NOT skimp on meat. Service was also friendly and fast. Line for takeout was out the door but we got a table right away.

Google
Some of the best duck I’ve ever tasted. The flavors are incredible, the food is all fresh, the menu is not complicated, and the Chef‘s and staff are so nice. Even though from the outside, it doesn’t look like much of a restaurant, don’t be misled. It’s a fantastic place and I will be back!

Google
This place should be 5 stars. Whoever rated it any lower is crazy. All meat (chicken, roast pig, char siu) is tender with that awesome crispy bite in some places. The duck is seasoned well and cooked to perfection. This place is amazing and the owner is so sweet.

Came here on a saturday around 1pm and it was packed but was able to get a table right away. Went with the duck and roasted pork duck noodle soup as well as the char siu and roasted pork rice dish. The meats were so good and lived up to hype!! From the two dishes we enjoyed the rice dish more as you can get a better taste of the bbq’d meats and the pickled veggies go great with it. The soup in the noodle soup was light and aromatic. Our favorite cuts of meat ranked were 1) char siu 2) roasted pork 3) the roasted duck. Ultimately the char siu had such rich flavor and a good balance of fatty and meaty. The roast pork had a great five spice flavor with a crackling skin. Duck was good but nothing out of this world. we really liked that the meal started with a free soup as well. We will definitely be back for more!!

Google
Amazing noodle soup with roast duck, crispy juicy pork belly and red BBQ pork. Fast service. The red BBQ pork was my favorite and by far the best I ever had. The place is family run. The father/chef and daughter/waitress were very kind and happy to talk to us about the food, their restaurant and the culture behind it all. Great place to stop for lunch but make sure you get there before they sell out!

Google
Delicious I tried a dry noodles dish and loved it will definitely return. They also sell whole ducks cooked and hung in the window on display pretty cool.

Google
Had some delicious noodles and roasted meats here! The crackly crispy roasted pork was our favorite, the bbq pork was delicious as well, the roasted duck was good as well. We liked the dry noodles (no soup) but the soup seems to be the specialty. The noodles came with bok choy and other veggies and these AWESOME pickled jalapeños and veggies. Each entree came with a clear broth soup that was light and the perfect aperitif. This place used to be cash only but they take cards. There’s a bathroom in the space and lunch was hopping. The ladies urged us to eat our take out right away cuz it’s best that way but it lasted hours till we ate it for dinner and was still delicious.

Google
One of those places you go to eat and then can’t stop thinking about for the next week. The roast pork is crunchy but won’t break your teeth on top while also being melt in your mouth soft on the inside. The bottom even gets a little browned and caramelized which is unique and adds another layer of complex umami to your bite. The bbq is perfectly tender with no gristle; I really the thickness of the pork pieces which is thinner than some other bbq pork plates, giving a really wonderful crust:flesh ratio. The rice plate and the dry noodles are equally as satisfying to be the backbone for the fatty and flavorful chunks of pork. The meats were both top tier but honestly the thing that really stood out was the side of pickled veg that came with each dish. Planning my next trip down to Tacoma right now so I can come back for more!

Yelp
I bin here so many times the service is so good. The duck and pork are so good that that there the best food in Tacoma.

Yelp
Tho Tuong BBQ is a true hole-in-the-wall gem! Food: We ordered the combination noodles with roasted duck, crispy pork, and BBQ pork. It also came with bok choy, leeks, green onions, and crispy onions. The crispy pork was my favorite-- perfectly crunchy and flavorful. Service: We were greeted right away and seated quickly. The staff speaks minimal English, but ordering was easy by pointing at the menu. Food came out fast! Ambiance: The restaurant is busy, with a line on the left for takeout. There are about eight tables and bar-top seating. Overall, the space is clean and has a modern feel. I'll definitely be back for more! :)

Yelp
The line is long for a reason as there are lots of to go orders. I chose to dine in and once I got seated everything came out quick. I wanted to eat the pickled stuff and it looked like the soup noodle combos didn't come with it so I got a rice plate. I got the bbq pork and roast pork and they were both really good. They forgot my mustard greens and I wasn't sure if it came with them but it does. I got extra pickled jalapeños so it worked out in the end. The pork dishes were both super juicy and I liked the chili oil on the side too always have to add it. I would definitely come here again and make sure they include everything on my plate!

Yelp
There were 6 of us having lunch (1pm) on Wednesday 2/5/25. We ordered 7 servings for 6 people for dine in. We ordered 2 lean bbq ducks & 1 regular duck to go. When I got home, I opened up 1 of the lean bbq duck & its missing a drumstick. I called the owner up and explained my situation. She told me they have running this business for 30 years and she doesn't believe such a claim. Why would I lie to her since I just wanted to let her know and have no intention of a refund. And the only thing that upsets me the most was that I told her we spent over $300 (tips included) just for 6 of us, and you know what she told me? $300 is nothing. I'll definitely going to tell all my friends & family members to avoid this place. Just a lesson for you owner: when you are successful, please don't be arrogant and ignore your customers.

Emily M.

Yelp
Wow the food here is memorable! I definitely will be back. The only downfall is the language barrier and line. it would much faster if they had a better system. I got there and had to wait awhile to order to go, separate own mine, but once I got there had to have the person who could speak English and translate. This is what took long. The workers didn't seem to know what to do unless told directly. If they just that numbers on their menu then patrons could just say menu #1 and don't event have to say anything but that. Since the food and price is sooooooooo good, will be back nonetheless!!!

Janar P.

Yelp
Came in 30 minutes prior closing, however service was excellent and food came out on point.

Katie H.

Yelp
Very busy, time your visit right. They usually start selling out around noon, so plan accordingly

Julie P.

Yelp
The service was super quick and friendly uncles and aunties. I really enjoy all the meats here and pickled mustard greens and jalapeños. The broth on the side helps cleanse the palate for more bites and the Vietnamese coffee is STRONG but delicious. After eating, the uncle persuaded me to get the chè (fruit cocktail dessert) and I wanted with durian and it was really good with fresh longan seeded! Never had to wait in line for this place but. Always my go to with my family when I visit!

Yelp
A hidden gem in Tacoma and super underrated!! Found out about this place from TikTok, and I am so glad I introduced my aunt here as well. The staff here was very friendly and kind helping my Aunt and I bulk order different meats alongside our lunch boxes. You can get a lot for the price that you pay. The lunch boxes were absolutely delicious and this is one of the best BBQ Pork I've had recently -- it was very soft and flavorful. I also really liked the cilantro and veggies paired with the rice dishes as well. We took our lunch boxes to-go but dined in to eat, so we received free complimentary soups since we sat in the restaurant. Overall, the food here was very good and it is now one of my Aunt and I's favorites in the Tacoma area. Their meat is packed with flavor and is very soft and fresh. It's located pretty close to her house too, so we will for sure be coming back soon the next time that I visit her. :)

Allie C.

Yelp
This was hands down the best piece of meat I've ever eaten. The soup was incredible, friendly and clean environment. Quick service with a smile. You have to try this!!

Jenny G.

Yelp
I am Chinese and eat BBQ all my life, but this is my first time trying Vietnamese BBQ. I have the admit that this bbq wins. It is not overly seasoned and not salty at all. The dipping sauce is unique in a good way, unlike fish sauce. Love the broken rice. Not many Vietnamese places in New York serve broken rice anymore. I appreciate the authenticity. My favorite is the roasted pork and the duck. The BBQ pork is a slight dark cause it is lean, but there is flavor. Also, there are plenty of pickeles veggies, jalapeno, and onions to help balance the flavor. The elder man that chops the meat looks so kind and cute as he smiles and waves goodbye to us. This is good service. We need this in New York. I will definitely miss these BBQ meat.

Sheila T.

Yelp
The establishment is very clean, and the food tastes amazing! I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Chunneath K.

Yelp
Tho Tuong BBQ is top tier when it comes to flavor in the roast duck or pork. Typically I'll buy some to take home but decided to sit down and try their noodle soups. I ordered the duck noodle soup and the combo noodle soup, which comes with BBQ pork, roast pork, and duck. Just a heads up: depending on the time of visit, you may have to wait for a table since the place is pretty small. That said, everything here is worth the price in my opinion. The service is fine considering how busy the workers are. Definitely a must visit

Jordan D.

Yelp
Great first time at Tho Tuong BBQ! I came at 2:30pm and line was a little bit out of the door but moved fairly quickly (the wait was only 10min). I got a combination of the roasted pork & bbq pork broken rice plate and it was very delicious. The rice plate comes with a variety of Vietnamese pickled vegetables. I didn't get to try it until 30 minutes later and the roasted pork was STILL crispy. They also provided a dark sauce that complemented the meat very well. Parking is difficult but the wait was well worth it. Come here if you want some authentic Vietnamese BBQ. Can't wait to be back!

Timothy L.

Yelp
Super solid Vietnamese bbq in Tacoma! I got their 3 meat combo with roast pork, bbq pork, and roast duck with dry noodles. The flavors of all the meats were so fresh and the sauces that they give you really enhance the flavor. The restaurant is pretty busy but it's efficient that they have separate lines for dine in and take out. Also the staff is really helpful and will walk you through their menu!

Amber S.

Yelp
Ordered take out. It was quite busy on a Wed morning. The restaurant was updated and appeared clean. They didn't speak very good English because they didn't great me when I walked in and skipped me for other customers they could speak to. I ordered roasted pork lunch box and roasted pork noodles. They gave me roasted duck noodles. I live over an hour away and was in the area so decided to try them out. Unfortunately it was too late for me to turn around and take ask them to fix my order. Had to discard the duck as we cannot eat it. The lunch box was really good and I'm quite bummed about the noodles as I was looking forward to it for lunch tomorrow. I will be calling tomorrow to see if I can get a refund on this.

Pamela M.

Yelp
I don't promote stars here because most of the Vietnamese community knows, but because I see some reviews that are false, I'm posting my comments to share. The taste here is very delicious and authentic like in Vietnam, and especially the duck when you eat it, you will feel that the meat is fresh. They are very crowded and busy but they serve in order so I have no complaints about that part. The meat sells out very quickly. I live a bit far so I always have to call to make sure they still have roast duck for sale before going. I understand that each of us has our own taste preferences so if you don't like it, find another place that suits your taste. As for the price, it can't be called expensive because if you go to the market to buy a duck, the price is from $20 to $25 per duck and you have to spend time preparing it with spices (also buying = ...$$$) while they sell it for only $37.40. The newly renovated shop is very clean and beautiful.

Diana S.

Yelp
Another New Years with Roasted Duck! I decided to pick up New Years Eve. There was a line not too bad in the remodeled restaurant that now accepts credit cards. One day I will make it for lunch! Tradition holds for Roasted Duck holidays & special occasions. Lunch one day. Service is kind & professional, keeping the service smooth.

Tien A.

Yelp
Really amazing food. We were sad last time we got here too late in the day and they were sold out of meat but this time I got the roast duck noodle soup and my partner got the roast pork noodle soup. Both were phenomenal, we're excited to come back and try other items on their menu.

Eileen H.

Yelp
I've come back to Tho Tuong several times to dine in, take out, or bring friends to try this spot and I can't believe I have not written a review yet. This place is a gem and their quality of food never disappoints. I have tried various cuts of meat (roast pork, barbeque pork, duck) and they have all been excellent. The roast pork is my favorite out of all the places I've tried because it has more meat and isn't as fatty as other places. The flavors for all of the meats have been excellent. I went for their barbeque pork today and it had a slight crisp on the outside, while still being juicy and tender. I personally prefer the noodle soup, while my boyfriend likes their rice plates. The noodle soup broth is full of garlicky flavor and the egg noodles have an excellent bite. Even when I get take-out, it's just as good as dining in. The portions are huge and you will not stay hungry! They are usually packed and it can be very hectic, but the service is fast and efficient. They have made some updates to the restaurant so it's nicer than before. Will definitely keep coming back!

Michelle P.

Yelp
Don't be intimidated with the long line outside this fabulous restaurant. It's worth the wait. A worker comes out and will ask if you're dinning in or take out. We got seated right away inside by passing 8 people in line. Apparently take out and inside is all on the same line. The staff is quick and very helpful. We ordered the 2 meat bbq combo which we chose roast pork and roast duck. Both items were delicious. Best duck I've had and I don't care for duck because of the seasoning. Most places have very heavy on seasoning, but here you can taste the flavor of the duck. The dish came with clear broth on the side, rice, pickled veggies (onions and greens), pickle jalapeños and cucumber. Served with a side of vinegar/soy sauce to dip. We also ordered noodles with bbq (charsiu) pork. The amount of bbq and veggies + noodle was a lot. We were able to take it home to have a second meal by purchasing extra noodles on the side. Definitely check them out. Parking is street parking and they do run out of meat options so go early.

Melody D.

Yelp
Saturday visit around 1pm. Restaurant was busy! All tables were occupied and there was a line for both to-go and dine in. We opted to dine in, and the line really wasn't that long of a wait! I'd say 10-15min wait and we were sat. Our server was very prompt and straight to the point, took our order in like 20 seconds! It was loud in the restaurant, but it's tiny, and cramped full of people and the lil old man chop chopping the meats in the window. Anyways, I ordered the Combo rice plate, it had roast duck, roast pork and bbq pork as far as meats, and includes rice, pickled jalapeños, pickled veggies, cucumbers and a side of soup broth. My mansy pants ordered the Combo noodle soup. Which, after receiving both orders, I wish I ordered instead! Soup on a cold autumn day just would've been a better choice. Not that I was disappointed in my meal, I just wanted my bf's soup after seeing it! We both really liked our meals, meats were crispy and moist. Not dry at all! Also as far as beverages, I ordered the Iced Vietnamese Coffee (wow! So good) and a Coca Cola in a can. Can't go wrong with either. If ever we are in Tacoma and craving, we will definitely come by.

Babette C.

Yelp
Instagram fooled me again!!! We saw a reel on how amazing and authentic this Vietnamese restaurant is, so we hurried over and tried the combo meal with two meats. We picked bbq pork and duck and it was disappointing. You get a nice portion, but the flavor was just okay. Both the pork and the duck were too dry, in spite of having a sweet dipping sauce, but I really regret not buying a drink because we ate it in the car since the restaurant was busy and it was a little tough to swallow. Ordering to go they fire out the food quick enough, but it also was a little confusion. One woman tried to take our order, but I think when we spoke English she realized she couldn't handle our requests so she waited for someone else to take our order. The food was sufficient and not bad, but it definitely wasn't worth the trip from Olympia to Tacoma to try it.

Brian P.

Yelp
The rice place and combo noodles are simply irresistible when in the Lincoln District. Don't let the occasional lines stop you from getting your hands on some deliciousness. My personal favorite is the rice plate because the pickled mustard greens are !

Ann L.

Yelp
When in the Tacoma area definitely try this place. We were on our way home from camping so made a quick stop to get some duck noodle soup and rice plate. I love how they give you pickled mustard & veggie with the rice dish. All their bbq meat was very good but we of course came for the dick. They recently remodeled so have more seating area. Service was friendly. Highly recommend when you're in the area.

Linda N.

Yelp
On a cold winter day, nothing is better than a warm bowl of soup and noodles. When my fiance and I came to Tho Tuong BBQ, we could smell the amazing food in the air as we opened the door. There were a lot of people on the Saturday afternoon, but we were able to snag a few seats at the bar. I ordered the mi vit quay/roasted duck noodles with soup ($17). The bowl came out with broth fresh from the stove, and I couldn't wait to try! The broth was light but full of flavor. I pretty much drank the whole thing and didn't feel too heavy. I liked how they added a lot of green onions, as it added a refreshing crunch to the bowl. The noodles were cooked well and the roasted duck was delicious. They roast their duck at the shop, so you know it is homemade. The duck was both crispy and juicy, making it addicting to eat. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and would come by again!

Kristen N.

Yelp
When I was growing up in Tacoma, my dad would always get us two boxes of thit heo quay and thit vit quay whenever he was in the 38th street area. It's been 8+ years since I've had it and I was feeling nostalgic and craved their bbq so I stopped by last Sunday. I'm happy to say that the meat is the same as I remembered. Tip: Go early in the day as they were all sold out of duck. The thit heo quay (roast pork) is flavorful and succulent while the skin stays crispy. The rice plate is a really good portion and I love the sauce and veggies that come with it. You just need to go and try it yourself!

Nancy L.

Yelp
Been going here for 10+ years. Usually I stop by for takeout. Roast duck--phenomenal marinade, it's flavorful, and consistent. Be sure to ask for the duck juice and pickled jalapeños on the side to dip in. The pickled jalapeños give a nice acidic kick paired with the duck. Whole duck is $34 as of review. Their menu only has a couple variations, I recommend the duck noodle soup (mi vit quay) or roast pig rice (com thit quay). Aside from 11am-2pm, service is quite quick if you sit down. The space is a bit crammed, but most people come in for takeout anyways. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Anh L.

Yelp
Coming from California and a former Seattlelite, I've been missing good roast pork, duck, charsiu. It's either SF or I'm subjected to People's market in Sacramento (no offense). Been eyeing Tho Tuong from their Instagram page. Flew in and drove a quick 20-25 min drive to check out the meats! The duck was flavorful, charsiu was moist with the right balanced flavor, and the roast pork. OMG. Soft meat, crunchie skin. Crunch!! You can check out the combo noodle soup here--just get all three types of meats in one bowl. The serving was generous. I also didn't have to hunt for herbs and vegetables. It's a stacked bowl. Came at 11:30pm and stayed for over an hour and not once was there quiet time. Felt like I was in SF where I had to fight my Asian grandmas for a spot in line. How is this in Tacoma? Ate so much I'm going to have to suck in my stomach. Prob one of the best hole in the wall place I've eaten at.

Alex B.

Yelp
I just recently moved back to Washington and in the Tacoma area and I am not surprised at how busy and popular this place has got. It definitely has picked up some traction throughout the years. The food is still amazing! Great quality and good portion sizes. Still family owned and the service is great! Just please be patience with the amount of business it is getting on some days as there can be a line out the door. When I first went here it was definitely different and has received an upgrade in the inside. There is a few seating spots which is great, but mainly folks take it to go. Coffee and desserts are great too! Definitely one of the best spots for duck, roast pork and bbq pork.

Jm P.

Yelp
Sat myself down on a Thursday around 11, no wait and not busy, I ordered the combo meat with noodle soup and it arrived very quickly. The broth and meats were really delicious, I would love to come back and try the rice version next time.

Lynnette Q.

Yelp
It's loud, it's small, but the food....DELICIOUS! And pack your patience. Majority of the staff here have english as a second language - so be kind. Oh, and it's street parking. I highly recommend the bbq but not without that pickled mustard green. It is a MUST! One take away for me was the broken rice. I'm just not a fan, that's all.

K L.

Yelp
Delicious!!!! First time visiting Tho Tuong BBQ and they did not disappoint. Tried 1 both the pork and duck. The skin was crispy and the meat was juicy. Loved the pickled jalapeños. I will definitely return! A must try!

Thuy N.

Yelp
The best Asian BBQ in the southend. Some of the must-orders is the flat duck (vit ep mo), roast pork and BBQ pork. The flat duck is very flavorful and does not distinct any smell that sometimes you find at other locations. It's so flavorful that you don't need any sauce that it comes with. The roast pork was extra crunchy and crispy. The bbq pork was exceptionally good as well. It also comes with a side of pickled jalapeños peppers. You can also buy some extra, along with the pickled mustard greens. The service was great! Everyone was so nice. A great addition to the south-end, where you don't have to drive to Seattle. Totally recommend. What are you waiting for? Come on by!

Olyvia N.

Yelp
There was a point in time I went here every week cause I was obsessed with this place and my family would find out and would ask me to bring some back for them The restaurant itself is small with about 3-4 tables, service is fairly quick and they do not have a parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking in the area. I typically order for to go and im usually in and out I always get the roasted pork belly and the roasted duck and take it home and eat it with rice. I'm obsessed with their pickled jalapeño and the sauce they provide with your orders Overall, this is my go to place for roasted pork belly and duck and will continue to go back and support them

Sara N.

Yelp
This was on my must try list for Seattle and it did not disappoint! It's a small shop, almost hidden but that's how you know the food was going to be great. The staffs were very friendly and nice. Food came out super quick and the portion was a lot and worth the price for it. We got the combination noodle soup and everything was well to taste . For extra flavoring I created a dipping sauce.

Kc N.

Yelp
The food is really good but a little over price. I got the combo mix that includes duck and bbq pork. I love the sauce that comes with it. Parking here sucks especially on a busy day. Service is pretty bad. No one really acknowledges you even when it's not busy. Felt like you're bothering them.

Marge L.

Yelp
My bro and I decided to check this place out since we were in the area. It was busy! I got the 2-3 meat combo w/noodles. For the meat I chose roast pork and bbq pork. They didn't have soy sauce chicken today so I stuck to the 2 meats. The noodles didn't have flavor so I added in some of the soup that came with the meal. It was alright, not the best meats I've tasted. My bro ordered duck and I will say their duck is very good! Meaty, juicy, and flavorful! The duck comes with soy sauce and pickled jalapenos. The jalapeños that come with their food are really good too. Not too spicy and pairs good with the food. We also got their Vietnamese coffee and it's perfect!

Jm C.

Yelp
First time was awesome. Second time was a bit short on the portions I wish I took pictures of the first time plate but they're next day difference comparison). Definitely not worth If you're only getting 3 pieces of bony duck cuts. Super busy for the location and space available but they get the food out fast.

Betty B.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST egg noodle spot in the PNW! Roast pork noodles, roast duck or even bbq pork - can't go wrong with either. Egg noodles are amazing and the broth is extremely flavorful. Cafe suda is made the way it should be (drip using filter) and super yummy! Love the ambiance and sound of chopping. Service is top notch! Street parking, limited seating, but we have never had a problem with either. Definitely worth the drive if you are not on the south end. Come early, once they run out of pork/duck, they are out for the day. All made fresh daily. Weekly go to spot for us!

Yelp
Delicious food with very helpful employees! A great pick-up and dine in. I loved their BBQ Pork and rice dish with various BBQ Duck. It was a small but very busy spot, but really loved being there watching the business flourish! Super yummy and worth the drive!

Yelp
Walked in here because my sister recommended this place and I am so glad she did because I'm already thinking about coming back this week for dinner. **It's a family owned restaurant, with dad (maybe uncle) chopping meat, mom (or auntie) plating food, and son taking orders. The location is small, but there was so many people ordering to go. I got the rice combo for $17 to go! Comes with rice and three meat (duck, bbq pork, roast pork). Wow, everything was JUICY! Not a single piece was dry! So flavorful and the ratio to meat was perfect. It was so much, I couldn't finish.

Yelp
The place is small and was packed, with many people coming for takeout as well. I was recommended the roasted duck and BBQ pork combo with rice and a side of veggies. Pretty good I'll say, the meat was crispy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside.some sauces at your table to pick from. The veggies seemed to be pickled in a way so It paired well with the meat. Service was also good. Will be coming back.

Yelp
Legit a hole in the wall in the Lincoln district of Tacoma. First time I came here it was cash only, but now they take credit cards! Usually this place has a line of people snaking thru the restaurant ordering to-go. There's only enough seating for maybe 15 people in the entire restaurant. It's cramped and dated. But who cares? The food is exceptional. Portions are good. I got the combo lunch with rice. Peking Duck is moist, not too gamey, and perfectly seasoned. Char Siu pork is authentic. If you want the crispy pork, you'll need to come early because they regularly sell out. This place reminds me of home, and gives my belly a big hug with its meals. So glad it's close by!

Yelp
Amazing amazing bbq pork/duck noodle soup and rice plates. The broth is flavorful and loaded up with garlic and delicious veggies. Super comforting and reminds me of egg noodle soups my grandma cooks. I dined in with friends and the service was fast and friendly. Saw that lots of people also grabbed bbq meats to go. Located right in Lincoln district in Tacoma - must try!

Yelp
Omg my nail salon in UP told me about this ok e for duck. I mentioned I want a cooked duck for Easter so here we are trying it out! I had the duck with noodle soup. Omg it was soooo tasty. The broth had lots of garlic, Bok choy and had a sesame flavor. Soooo delish. Hubby had toasted crispy pork with rice. Wow also a keeper dish. The server spoke very well English (( obviously Asian American). I'm coming back tomorrow for a whole duck & crispy pork! The picked vegis were a bonus taste too. From the outside I never would have guessed how nice it is inside! I've lived here forever and never knew...
