We stopped in for lunch today (Sunday 4-13) and the food was amazing! We have the smoked kielbasa, Sauerkraut, cabbage rolls and pierogi. I will definitely come back.

Google
Traditional Polish-American fare. I ordered the Combo Plate: Three pierogi with sour cream, kielbasa, sauer kraut and one cabbage roll. Also chicken soup with dumplings. The food was delicious and generous portions. My wife and I have eaten at Three Brothers in the past and will continue to do so. The quality of the food is consistent and a very good value for the dollar!

Google
Brought my Wife and Father-in-Law for lunch. The food is amazing! Best Polish food on this side of town. Very authentic, I had my favorite Breaded pork chops, my Wife and her Father had the City Chicken and Stuffed Peppers. I would come every Sunday if it was up to me! The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy are just like My Mom’s! Be sure to try this place!!

Google
Three brothers restaurant really delivers on some good homemade food at an affordable price with a good clean atmosphere 👍 yesterday mom had a hankering for some Polish food so we figured we would give three brothers a try and we both agreed we will definitely be going back!! You could definitely tell their recipes were on point and everyone who works there was in it to win it! They're homemade kielbasa and sauerkraut was one of the top three I've ever tasted 👍👍

Sarah G P

Google
Waitress was extremely talented in remembering our large order and offering multiple separate checks. Sauerkraut was original in its spices. Sausages were cooked nicely and good quality. Mac and cheese came in a large portion. Corn was a little under flavored but everything else was so delicious it didn’t matter! Looking forward to coming back again next time we are in town!

Google
I've been to this place many times, and the food is amazing! If you're looking for something REALLY affordable, you can get the smoked kielbasa with three pirogies, and water. It's delicious and it's just enough to make me feel full. Last time I was there, that meal cost around $8.45. The service is also top notch, even when they're really busy. I highly recommend this place.

Stick to your ribs delicious Polish fare. This one is a sleeper. while i love Polish food , I often found it slightly bland. I am happy to report i was wrong. Fresh and delicious food , with a laid back if slightly older clientele environment. Worth the drive Food- A Fresh and hot, some of the best Polish food i have tried. Highly recommend the Dill pickle soup. Huge portions. Ambience- C+ Definitely a place your parents and grand parents would eat and why wouldn’t they the food is delicious. Service- A Friendly staff that while the restaurant was busy you never felt abandoned. Price- A- Once again very reasonable priced and for how much you get, define a good deal Overall- B+ Great food, friendly staff and competitive fair prices. Go check this out when the white stuff starts falling.

I've been fortunate to travel the world as US Airman and this is my favorite restaurant ever! No bad meal on the menu, Polish Combo is AMAZING everytime! If you're there on the right day, add the German Tomato soup, incredible!

Yelp
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! It's located in a sort of out of the way location, away from the usual restaurant locations, but that didn't seem to be a problem because the parking lot and restaurant were pleasantly full when we entered. People come out of their way to come to this place! Our server was very friendly, and the food definitely had a feeling of being homemade. My kielbasa and pierogi were all delightful and stayed far away from the usual pitfalls of being greasy. My husband's pork chop was also tasty and well-seasoned. The apple pie was a great way to finish and hit just the spot. (Though I wish they offered a scoop of ice cream alongside it.) Overall, this resturant is a great part of the community, and I wish we'd found it sooner. Too many restaurants boast of "home-cooked vibes", but this place absolutely delivered. The only drawback was simple we ate our complete meals! (There are worse problems to have.) You really won't have any leftovers, so if you've come with a big appetite, you might want to add some starters to your order.

Yelp
I will rate the service. Service was good. There was a wait, but that means lots of people want to eat here. Waited was only, 15 mins. After getting seated, I was tended to within a few mins. Waitress was sweet and quick (in and out but to the point) Ordered the #1 combo. 2 potato pancakes, 2 nalisniki (apple and cherry) and 3 pierogis. It's pretty much fried and very oily. It was just ok If I were to go back, I'd probably order some sausage and meat to balance out the carb heavy meal I had.

Yelp
Had pork chops, mashed potatoes and sour kraut. Had read that sour kraut is an excellent probiotic and it tasted good, not over powering. The two pork chops were huge and I ended up taking one home. Server and hostess were very attentive.

Yelp
Pull up your navy socks, slide on your Velcro shoes, and mosey down to 3 Brothers for dinner. This is where the neighborhood goes for big servings of inexpensive food and conversation, and by all appearances, has for many years. Giant bowl of veggie soup and a Polish dinner special of kielbasa, pierogis, kraut, and stuffed cabbage. The cabbage was pretty good. The waitstaff is sweet as can be, and the value cannot be denied.

Yelp
We arrived at 11:15 am. Saw the menu included breakfast, lunch and dinners. So I first noticed biscuits and gravy stopped at 11. So I asked and she checked and said there was no more. I said ok how about the Belgian waffle then she they were out. Why on earth do you all add the breakfast to the lunch and dinner. I chose the BLT with fries. It was good. By husband had the clam chowder and it was really good but he wished for more clams. He ordered the fish and chips. He said it was nothing special. Not sure if we will return.

Yelp
I had not been to Three Brothers for at least 5 years and I gotta say...that was a mistake! My dad and I went for lunch. The service was quick, the waitress was attentive and the price was right! We shared a great sized chicken sandwich, got some soup, and some onion rings. Wow, wow, wow!!!!! Such great food. I mean, I'm always on the search for great grilled chicken and this exceeded expectations! On top of this, it was super clean and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this local gem. I will absolutely be returning here sooner rather than later!

Yelp
I wanted something different, so I tried the combo that included pierogis, kielbasa, and city chicken. The soup here is a bargain, costing just $.99 a cup when ordered with a meal. I got a cup of the dill pickle soup, having never tried this traditional Polish soup. The dill pickle soup was a pleasant surprise. The sour bite associated with dill pickles was tempered by the creaminess of the soup. The taste of dill wasn't overpowering, and the soup was warm, hearty, and comforting. I would order this again. I was less satisfied by the combo meal. The kielbasa was exceptional. I had ordered the smoked version grilled. The smoky flavor complemented the flavor of the sausage nicely. The potato pierogis were just ok. I had ordered them pan fried, but they tasted as if the frying hadn't happened recently and they were reheated via a microwave. I really didn't like the city chicken. The breading was gummy, and the meat had the taste and texture of a mystery. I would not order this again.

Andrea M.

Yelp
If you like traditional polish food then this place is for you! Potato pancakes on Fridays are fantastic.

Cheryl T.

Yelp
What ever happened to good old fashion customer service? They were out of the dessert I ordered and pre-paid for. The substitute I selected had a $1 extra charge. So, I had to pay extra for something I didn't really want. I guess I'm just old, but I would not have charged the customer. The negative reviews seem to all be related to this nickel/dime approach over taking care of the customer. Seems shortsighted to me. I won't be back and will tell two friends who will tell two friends, etc. I know this may seem silly, but it's the principle. For me, if you provide good customer service, you've got me forever.

Yelp
This place made me feel like I was eating my grandmas food. Lunch was so good. I had the city chix special. 3 Perogies, sausage and kraut, and city chix with gravy. Service was outstanding. The place was busy at 1:30, but this place is a well oiled machine.

Yelp
3/37/25 - I went for their turkey dinner, and really enjoyed it. Good portion of meat, and the stuffing was tasty. See the picture posted below:

Yelp
This will go down as one of the worst dining experiences of 2023. The food here is awful. I refuse to believe that what we were served is authentic Polish food. Everything was fried and bland. No seasoning and not even crispy. We didn't eat most of it and threw the leftovers away. I've had potato pancakes and pierogies before that were much better than what is offered at Three Brothers. This restaurant seems popular with the older crowd but I can't imagine it will entice a younger population more accustomed to authentic international cuisine and spices. The service was mediocre too. If you are looking for an old school diner in this neighborhood, I recommend Zack's of Plymouth several blocks away.

Yelp
Been going here for years. Most of the time quick service, always friendly service. Great family restaurant and plenty of options (yes and polish, delicious food) to pick from. Their daily specials and soups are the main reasons we go! I will say, the prices continually creep up. Not just once every couple of months, but maybe once every month or month and a half? Which makes me wonder if my meal is worth it and at what price is paying $12 for a salad worth it or is $5 for one slice of ham worth it? The food is good but yes if I want a salad for $12, you better make it worth it

Yelp
Good Polish food that is convenient to me. It is no longer necessary to drive to Hamtramck. I love the kielbasa omelette. Their combo platter is a great dinner. Will I return? Absolutely yes!
google avatar

Kate B.

Yelp
Best Polish food in Michigan! And being Polish counts! Just like mama made and taught me to make! Stop by. It's a must!

Dave P.

Yelp
Food was very good, excellent service and very reasonably priced. Menu was very diverse. Everyone will find something they like.

Yelp
This place is great for the food and price! I go here when looking for some home cooking. The soups are good as well as the dishes I've tried. Service is good every time but the place is a bit old and dingy
google avatar

D T.

Yelp
Great city chicken priced right too. But stay away from the fish and chips. It's flat fish. Not a nice filet of Cod batter dipped . Good fries too. The potato soup is not like any potato soup I've had. As in not good. From now on city chicken only. So good!!

David C.

Yelp
A great restaurant with friendly service and wonderful comfort food. If you eat there... you will leave full and in a good mood. And their soup is the best in the area.

Yelp
Great stuffed cabbage, great city chicken... All is good!!! We will be back soon. I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Our first time here and we got a little variety to check things out. I've been wanting to try the food here for quite some times, but just never got around to it until now. The potato pancakes: I almost cried when I had my first bite. I haven't had a potato pancake since my mom passed away and the memories came flooding back. These tasted exactly like how she used to make them and she came from Eastern Europe. These were perfect! The pierogis: We got a little of everything. Some fried, some boiled, some potato and some cheese. Growing up I always had them boiled with bacon and onions on top with sour cream, so those were obviously my favorite. The fried ones were good, but if I have a choice I will always go boiled. The kielbasa: Cooked perfectly! Tasted just wonderful! You can't go wrong with this! The nalisniki: We tried one cheese and one strawberry. The strawberry was good, but a tad too sweet for my liking. I preferred the cheese. Next time I would try the apple, but I think the cheese is the go to flavor. Overall, the food was amazing and reminiscent of my childhood. My only issue was when I was unpacking all the food the nalisniki were packed with the potato pancakes so some bites did have a mild potato pancake flavor. If they were packed apart this would have easily been 5 stars. I can't wait to try more from this place!

Jean A.

Yelp
Love good cultural foods and this restaurant got it right. Delicious city chicken, pirogi's, sausage and kraut. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food and service was pleasant and fast. The place was packed with diners and we got seated immediately and our drink was taken quickly. I will definitely be eating there again.

Yelp
On the road and went back to Three Brothers for the Friday specials and wasn't disappointed. The potato pancakes are incredible! Better than any others. We got takeout and they knocked it out of the park. Got about pie ( disassembled so as not to get soggy) two specials with fish, potato pancakes and pierogis, Mac and cheese, and fish and chips. Great portions and all the fixings ( sour cream and tarter sauce and Cole slaw). The person who answered the call honestly took the time to walk through any of our questions and insured she had the order right. Service to go along with the excellent food. Highly recommend Three Brothers if you're in the area. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Always delicious food and kind service. I wish I lived closer so I could get carryout even. I really enjoy their pierogi (all flavors), soups, and sausages when I come. We've always had kind servers and the business is always full of happy customers.

Aya K.

Yelp
My husband family has polish heritage so we went there check out polish food. We liked their local diner feel of the restaurant instantly. Greeted right away and service was very efficient. Looks like they have many regulars so food must be good/authentic...? We ordered grilled kielbasa as well as boiled one, pirogi, rolled cabbage, city chicken which, to our surprise, wasn't chicken. Foods were ok, and a bit too salty. The best dish was grilled kielbasa. We enjoyed the experience but won't be back for food though....

Chris

Yelp
Good place for Polish food. Great service and reasonable prices. Love their German tomato soup.

Amy B.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch just this week and it was a great experience! You really can't beat the prices for the amount of food you get nowadays. The diner experience was cozy, friendly, and quick. Will be back, thank you Three Brothers!
google avatar

Karen V.

Yelp
For the most part, very good food. I tried the meatloaf (dry, thin slices) & didn't like it, but everything else was very good. Soups were great. The German tomato is very popular so we tried it & even took a quart home. They have good breads & great cabbage rolls & polish sausages.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Three brothers is known for their delicious soups and I can see why. The vegetable is my favorite (available Thursday and Saturday) Whenever we are sick we go grab a quart to go. It comes with fresh bread and is always hot!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
I love their great homemade soups, and you can't beat their PRICES $ to almost every restaurant out there. Like I'm talking about their soups for example. Large bowls, they have small bowls too. And Quart's for takeout.

Lisa L.

Yelp
My husband and I come here often, not because the food is great, it's just OK at best, but because it's the only Polish restaurant nearby and every once in a while we get a craving for it. My husband was there with friends and he ordered a carry out to bring home to me. He ordered the combination plate which included a stuffed cabbage, krout, 3 pierogis and kielbasa. When I got home from work, all that was in the box were the pierogis and kielbasa. I called the restaurant to let them know. You would think they would apologise and offer to replace the meal. Instead, they wanted me to tell them who the waitress was. What was her name? What did she look like? What time was your husband here? How much did he tip? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! They said they needed the info to track down the ticket and make sure that's what he ordered. I told her that IS what he ordered. She said they needed to make sure that's what he payed for. I couldn't believe my ears! She asked for my phone number and said she'll get back with me. Two hours later I get a call back saying that we were only charged for the pierogi and kielbasa and that's what he ordered. When I asked her to tell me what my husband ordered for himself, so I knew she had the right ticket, she said they already got rid of the ticket. So I said that he did indeed order the combination plate and the waitress made a mistake. Even after I told her, we dine there often, she refused to make things right and just apologized for the inconvenience. I told her I can't believe they would be so chintzy, and would be losing good customers over 1 stuffed cabbage and 1 serving of krout. Then she hung up on me. WOW!
google avatar

Carlos C.

Yelp
Not my type of food. Came to this place because my friend wanted to eat Polish pierogis. I ended up ordering City Chicken which is actually a mock of chicken. They use pork. It came with pierogis that were ok and even fun but lacked flavor. I found myself adding a lot of the horseradish and cream that came in the dish. The dish came with a sausage as well. Overall inexpensive and they serve large portions. The service was very nice. The food itself was ok to me but to be fair I'm from Miami and it's not the food I'm used to.
google avatar

Zaneta G.

Yelp
Love this place! Always visit when in town. Love their selection of homemade soups. Large portion sizes.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
I never write reviews and This is not about the food it just pissed me off that they changed me a split charge of 1.59 because my 90 year old mother ate a couple green beans from my dinner and all the waitress brought was a small plate we ordered 35 dollars worth of food so it's not like we were cheap dinner's and the waitress argued with me about it saying that's the rules and she would have to charge me full price for the soup witch is cheaper with a meal if she took of the split charge off and I ordered a full meal again it's not the money the food is good and the wait staff is usually good but it just rubbed me the wrong way so for a 1.59 they lost a customer
google avatar

Rich K.

Yelp
What a great restaurant. Great service from Lisa. Great food. Humongous portions of home cooked meals. We'll be back on Fridays for beet soup and potato pancakes.

Yelp
Busiest Polish restaurant in Metro Detroit for a very good reason. Four decades of fantastic food keeps this place packed everyday . At 2pm only 2 booths open the place is huge, hearing conversations in Polish language. A line at the register to check out by many dozen long time customers. Had the fabulous Smothered Mega Pork Chops OMG could only eat half. A order of City Chicken spot on Wonderful . We shared the big bowl of Beef Barley Soup only $1.50 with any meal purchase. She had the Mega Smoked Polish Sausage a real winner. Only Polish restaurant offers full breakfast everyday and all day long. Cheapest prices of any Polish restaurant, they can do it because of the thousand plus meals plated up weekly. Low prices makes this a must visit, fully family owned all these decades, you really need to visit. #threebrothersrestaurant #polishkielbasa #polishfood #polishbreakfast #citychicken #bakedporkchop #lowprices #downriverfriendseat

Yelp
Ate here once and food was average. We got take out and we were not wowed. When I picked up the food, the ambiance in the restaurant was not great and needs updating. Definitely an older crowd vibe.

Jody R.

Yelp
Great home style food, nice relaxing atmosphere and great service. They also have a great carry out service.

Linda C.

Yelp
Another great meal at Three Brothers. Never disappoints. Fantastic wait staff - very attentive and fast. Pasta dish was enough for two or one very hungry person.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
We got the chicken dumpling soup, chicken noodle Soup, and the city chicken combo. The soup was absolutely delicious! The city chicken, pierogi, kraut and Kielbasa were outstanding! So glad to find such a great place to eat!

Catherine H.

Yelp
We go to three Brothers often and have never been disappointed. The food is awesome and the servers very friendly.

Yelp
Have been coming here since I was a child with my grandparents. Now I bring friends and tell everyone about the home cooking at Three Brothers. Like many other reviews, their homemade soups are to die for - and I'm not a soup person generally. My favorites are the chicken and dumplings and German tomato. Their breakfast is always a hit no matter what you order. The pancakes are fluffy. The omelets are hardy and fresh. Lunch/dinner menu- there are so many amazing choices. My top are the potato pancakes which are a special only on Friday's. The breaded pork chops are always a must with homemade sour kraut, kielbasa mad pirogies. My husband loves the stuffed cabbage rolls anf goulash on Saturday's. Their sandwiches are good too - best club sandwich and best Ruben. The waitstaff is always friendly and service is very quick.

Carol S.

Yelp
3 Brothers is a tradition American restaurant that also serves great Polish food. They also have daily specials & soups. Great breakfast. Closed on Mondays. Try their chicken & dumplings which is served on Sundays. Order early since they sell out. Also try their city chicken. It is so good. You owe it to yourself to try it!

Yelp
Excellent Polish Food. We went here after the Golf Expo. I'll definitely return, even got some uncooked Smoke sausage to go home with to freeze.

John T.

Yelp
We were staying at a local motel and wanted something different for dinner. Polish food sounded great so I jumped in the car and headed over expecting a small shop tucked in a strip-mall. Instead I found a large restaurant with a parking lot filled to capacity - a good sign. While I waited for my take-out order to be made I noticed almost everyone who left was carrying a styrofoam box of leftovers. Turns out the reason for this is that the portions are large and the food is too good to not take home after you've eaten your fill. The pierogi were good (everyone's Polish grandmother has her own recipe). The potato pancakes were the best ever and I reheated the nalisniki for breakfast the next morning. I only wish I lived closer.

Dante C.

Yelp
Loved it! I use to think you'd have to go to Hamtramck to get great polish food well you don't; you can now stay here on the west side and get great polish food at 3 bros.
google avatar

Jeril F.

Yelp
Wonderful comfort meals. No frills atmosphere. Staff are terrific and very attentive to your needs. Been long time customers...always get the chicken noodle soup when under the weather!

Yelp
We look for restaurants to try on our way to the Yankee Air Museum Historic Presentation Night once a month. We like the area along I-275 between 8 Mile Road and Ecorse, which is where we found 3-Brothers Family Restaurant specializing in Polish and American food. Of course we are usually on a tight schedule depending on traffic so we try to plan enough time. When we arrived at 3-Brothers parking lot and it appeared to be quite full. We approached the door expecting the worst but, even though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated immediately and our server brought a basket of sliced white and dark bread with butter. We were still watching the clock so we told her we were in bit of a hurry to make the presentation and placed our drink and food orders at the same time. I went with the Polish Combo and added a cup of Chicken Dumpling Soup. My wife wanted to be sure to stay awake during the presentation so she just ordered a bowl of the Chicken Dumpling Soup. The Soup came out first and was delicious with plenty of Dumplings and a homemade taste. Then the Polish Combo with City Chicken, Smoked Kielbasa, three different Pierogis, and Sauerkraut. I haven't had City Chicken for years so this taste brought back good memories. Everything was excellent and my wife helped with my Combo so that I could also stay awake during the presentation. Service was great and our drinks were kept full. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and I wish we weren't in such a rush. On our way out we used their clean restrooms. And from the time we walked in to walking out was only 30-40 minutes so we made it to the Yankee Air Museum with time to spare. Definitely one to repeat.

Yelp
Picked up a $20+ to go order for lunch. After I left I noticed a $0.15 line item for "1 EXTRA TOGO". I called and was told that is a charge for the box that my lunch came in. I'm all for paying for anything I order at a restaurant but this is ridiculous. This is a box that had their vendor's shipping label on it that they would need to throw out. Basically I'm paying for their garbage plus I paid a tip for it. If I return the box, can I get a refund? If I dine in, do I have to pay for the use of a plate and utensils? 15 cents is obviously nothing but this attitude really rubs me the wrong way. Last time for me and my coworkers.
