"Vacant since a 2013 remodel, the two-level, 3,300-square-foot, former Art Haus building will finally be filled downtown. Revealed back in October, Three Sheets Craft Beer Bar has made quick progress in upgrading the space. The original location in Dublin, California, 35 miles east of downtown San Francisco, is operated by two self-described “craft beer nerds,” Wendy Rather and Stefanie Jackel. The team prefer “leaving the food to the experts in the area” and encouraging patrons to “bring in your own food (BYOF)” or dine from a roster of scheduled food trucks. Conveniently keeping the large “bar” sign that dominates the outside of the building, a remnant from failed speakeasy project The Hawthorne, Three Sheets recently finished priming the front and have begun painting the space with a gray ceiling and blue walls, plus installing a “galvanized steer bar top.” Expected to favor local brews, the bar will continue its tradition of more than 20 “taps of premier craft beer rotating frequently for you to explore.”" - Bradley Martin

Google
The selection of beer and rotating taps are always inspired. I like their "sample paddles". It gives me a chance to try some funky flavors like peanut butter ice cream and orange Creamsicle. They have some fun and games; shuffleboard, darts, cornhole. The wall is adorned with brewery logos. The workers are very friendly. Yes, they serve some food here, like pizza. Which tastes...well, good for a pizza at a bar.

Came here around noon on a Saturday. They had college football playing on several TVs and a projector. They have cornhole available for those that want to play. They have a really good local craft beer selection with a few cans to choose from. I’ll be coming back.

David Spanne

Google
Good tap room selection. Sort of a big warehouse space with a large bar. Maybe it gets very full on a Friday or Saturday evening. I went on a quiet Sunday afternoon the week between NFC AFC championships and the Superbowl. I believe they are on the Untapped app.

Google
Located on Dublin Parkway, across the street from the Dublin post office. Great bar/gathering place after work. Featuring over 32 different beers on tap. Small pizza maker, to pair with your delicious beer. For a broader food selection, be sure to visit them on Fridays, where they host Food Trucks! Lots of tables for both indoor and outdoor seating. The bar space is deceiving from the outside, be sure to check out their shuffle board, darts, and their corn hole area(located in the back of the bar).

Google
Went there because I thought they made their own beer, but good beer and wine selection nonetheless, shuffleboard, dart board, a couple of cornhole setups, a couple of big screens. Only problem was no A/C, on a 90 degree plus day, with the back roll down door open! Too hot!! Stayed for a beer, ubered over to Fieldwork, cheers!!!🍻

Christine Tanner

Google
Good selection of beer, lots of seating. Food trucks park out back on certain days. Definitely hot inside on summer days with only a couple fans for cooling.

Micah Silverman

Google
Love this place. They have rotating taps and choices for every palate. Trivia night is the best I've found so far out of 6 places I tried in the area. That being said, the seating situation really could be better but overall it's a fun time.

Tony Curoso

Google
Great tap room, especially since it's way out here in the valley. Friendly service and good recommendations from the staff. -1 cause they won't show Giants games.

Yelp
I found this place through yelp search, and I'm glad I found this place. The vibes were great. They had some board games, darts and seating. There is a good selection of beers, wine. There's only pizza for food so i would suggest just eating beforehand. The bartender was sweet and gave us good recommendations. My favorite was the bees better than my honey beer. I will be back again!

Yelp
4++ a wonderful neighborhood craft beer bar. It's a pretty large space and has a pretty good variety of craft beers on the menu at any given time. There's also beers to purchase to go. The service here is very friendly and helpful and the place is also dog friendly. They even have some dog treats to the right of the bar for your furry friend. I came by because I just wanted to grab a beer with one of my favorite drinking buddies - my brother's dog, Yuki lol. The place wasn't too busy so I was able to sit at the bar right away and order a couple of beers. This is one of those places where it feels like you get a lot of regulars that come in often. So if I was able to come in more often, I'd be probably talking to more people in the place, but I was visiting family at the time so I pretty much just really kept to myself and the dog. Definitely a great craft beer bar and I'm so glad that it's close to where my family lives so it's one of the places I like to visit when I'm in the area.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by Three Sheets a couple Friday evenings ago for a drink before dinner. The space is pretty big and lots of high tops to sit on. It wasn't too full when we showed up at around 7:30 PM. I'm not a huge beer person, so I immediately looked for their cider options. We both got the marionberry cider which was pretty fruity and not too sweet. The slight tartness gave the flavor more unique. It also had a nice rosy color. I think a 10 oz drink was under 10, so not too bad.

Yelp
"Are you going to that stupid beer place again?" So asked my lovely wife of 40 years. She's never been a fan of beer, and has thus far resisted my instruction. Recovering my sense of propriety, I explained: "Yes, but it's not a stupid beer place, it's a GOOD beer place" I patiently explained. "Oh really, what's its name?" she demanded. "Three Sheets," I replied--still calm, still keeping my even composure, but with a little bit of swagger. And so, pivoting from this wobbly preface, I began a delightful evening at Three Sheets, winding down at the long counter. I've probably been here 1,000 times, at least. But this is the first time my bride called it a "stupid place." But please don't hold it against her. It was spoken out of ignorance, not maliciousness. I will have to give her further tutoring on the subject of beer parlors.

Yelp
Highlights: decent prices, trivia on Thursday's, older crowd, cold inside Joined some friends for a fun Thursday night trivia! The building is a converted manufacturing site, so bring a jacket - the insulation is minimal. Like most places in the tri valley, there was a handful of 20-somethings but most people were 40s and above. Trivia is free to play and they won't pressure you to buy something if you don't want to. Pizza was ordered for the table and it was actually pretty good! The tasting paddle price seemed reasonable ("starting" at $12) so I'd probably get that next time I'm here.

Maisie W.

Yelp
4.5/5 Came here early afternoon and not that many people yet until later. Got a flight and most of the samples were good. Chose this place b/c they had games but didn't end up playing. Only thing I would suggest is that they need to clean and change their water filter jug.

Sylvia C. F.

Yelp
Always have a good time here. In the voice of Joey ..Staff, good! Beer, good. Entertainment, good! Great chill vibe! Plus, it will Always hold a special place in my heart, this was where my wife and I had our first date almost 9 years ago.

Yelp
Cool little modern beer tap room. Actually not so little as it seems to be in an industrial building so there are tons of room in there that can fit all kinds of games like corn hole, shuffleboard and other bar-centric games. The seating scheme seemed a bit wonky to me, kinda like how a bachelors pad/garage would be laid out, like no real thought or reason, just strewn about. They do have a legit beer list tho, with probably over 15 taps, maybe closer to 20. They also have ciders and wine as well for those that aren't into craft beers. We found this place after playing a round of golf, so we were quite the protocol customers. We were all pleasantly surprised with their list and we were all able to get/try a new beer that we hadn't tried yet, which is kinda refreshing to run into these days. We dislike places where they only serve up well known big name/corporate beers. There are so many small breweries these days that it is almost impossible to keep track of them all. So it is nice to be able to sample some brews, without going to each brewery itself. Lots of the beers here are actually somewhat local, I'd say most were within 75 miles, and maybe a handfull from Socal. We also came during a late afternoon so they had a happy hour going on. I think a buck or two off each pint, which is always nice. We also tried a small pizza here and it was better than most 'bar' pizzas I've had. It is the kind where it is premade and all they have to do is blast it in an oven for a few minutes. But this did not taste like your average frozen pizza from a grocery store, which was good for me, cuz I hate most frozen pizzas. This actually had a nice fresh crust and the sauce and cheese combo was pretty damn legit. I just think that it could have used a bit more time in the oven to give it more of a melty and crisp vibe. But definitely not bad at all for something about $10ish. I'd do this again in a heartbeat. So still haven't seen this place in full swing, as that time of the day, things were super chill. The parking may be iffy as we just parked on the street, so not sure if this place even has a designated parking area. And to that sentiment maybe it is a better thing afterall to come here when things aren't so bustling. Easy in, easy out, I'll take that all day long.

Yelp
Food- bring you own or pick up from down the street Service- nice & helpful bartender Ambiance- chill, dog friendly, spacious Relaxing no frills local joint for a beer. Good selection on draft. Multiple TVs to catch some sports.

Greg S.

Yelp
Came here to meet a friend. Good selection of beers! Food wise - only pizza was available and it was really good! Overall - very nice place

Diane S.

Yelp
Beautiful decoration and soft music make me feel happy, I am not a drinker, but sometimes I want to drink a little bit, because sometimes when drink alcohol I can forget something and let me feel better, the service are friendly, I will come back

Yelp
GREAT craft beer hall in Dublin with the kind of gathering space that is perfect for happy hour, catching up w/ friends, or watching the game. Stopped by here during a slow hour but the bartender was still super friendly, nice, and got our family beers in no time. There's cornhole and shuffleboard as well as a ton of boardgames if the many TVs playing sports isn't enough. Beer selection is EXCELLENT, plenty of crowd favorites as well as local brews to try. Prices are reasonable. Parking is very limited on the street. We had a few of their IPAs and they were great! Tons of seating areas to spread out and catch up w/ friends. We stopped by here while waiting for our dinner reservations nearby and it was a great option instead of waiting in the restaurant bar. Highly recommended!

Yelp
(A little late post) What a great event put on by the wonderful Alicia. I've been to this place once before, and their customer service has yet to disappoint. The bartenders are so friendly, even as crowded as the Elite event was! They've got a great set up inside, as well as a small front patio. Grab a beer + drink while you play a little corn hole, or fancy yourself near the bar for some fun conversation.

Alicia F.

Yelp
Three Sheets is such a gem. I've been here a few times now and I will definitely keep coming back. The vibes are so chill, the music choices are great, and it's not too loud or quiet. They have a great rotation of beers and ciders, most recently I've been on a blood orange kick. There are fun games to keep you entertained like darts & corn hole, my boyfriend and I get very competitive on shuffleboard! The service is great. It is a large location, there are plenty of tables inside, it looks like they open up the back garage door in warmer weather? They also have a few tables and heaters on the front patio as well. I never see anyone eating any food but I hear they have pizza. A parking lot is located on the side, next to Pacific Dental and Diamond Sharp Equipment. Exactly what Dublin needs more of! Check em out!

Dan C.

Yelp
Three Sheets Craft Beer is a great place to grab a cold one. It's for the 21+ crowd so no kids. With over 30 taps of craft beer and cider, there's something for everyone. They have corn hole and shuffleboard, and trivia nights on Thursdays to add to the entertainment. They just started live music which sounds great in that open space. Friendly staff and a chill crowd make it a great place to relax and unwind. They're even dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along! They don't have a permanent food menu per se, but the occasional food trucks mean you can still grab a bite to eat plus you can bring in your own food.

Yelp
Horrible guy!! That guy didn't even say "hello" When I sat at the bar and I said Hi he throw the coaters at me and when to the other side of the bar. When my husband(30y/o) gave him his ID he said that he can not take that ID because it doesn't look like his Id?.Like man There are so many different Ids in the states! He rolled his eyes, like he hates his job! We went to caps&taps instead down the street and the service there was amazing!!! HORRIBLE GUY!

Rashmi N.

Yelp
Great beers on tap and a fun place to watch sports and just hang out and meet new people!! Will definitely be going back!

Randy B.

Yelp
It's not my kind of place. Beer with only personal size pizza for food? No. But for beer, I suppose it's good...it's just one dimensional. A nice looking place. Long copper bar is the highlight featuring hanging Edison light bulbs. A few select tables outside, about a dozen inside, one dart board, 4 cornholes. There are food trucks each Friday night, so that could be interesting. The draft beers can be found at a dozen places in the area. I don't find it unique enough, and rather boring. Not for me. * Pizza available: just cheese, pepperoni, or olive

Kris P.

Yelp
Cool bar, although it was a Sunday night and was expecting it to be a little bit more busy than the few groups that were scattered around. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a deep space as it extends towards the back lot. We liked the vibe of the waitress, and beer selection was fine, although the rotating menus moved a bit too fast for us to read the thing on the TVs. Not really much food selection here, and I probably wouldn't order anything anyway. You are more than welcome to bring outside food in, which we ended up bringing a box o tacos from El Taco Bello. Dogs are welcome here too. The place should bring in a few more electronic dartboards here. I feel like this would be a great place to throw some darts and maybe even have some tournaments. There's certainly space for it. Alls they have is a sad looking solo cork dartboard with a chalk scoreboard. If you're on this side, stop by for a brewsky.

Russell M.

Yelp
Very little food offered if any. Great craft beer selection but servers were disinterested in discussion and only referenced to a small hard to read revolving digital screen (it does have all the beer stats). Dog friendly open air warehouse environment with some games and random seating.

Loann H.

Yelp
They had Pliny the younger here! My first time at this little beer bar and it's v cute. There were outdoor seating, a food truck in the back and some cornhole. It's located along other stores in the area so good for a stroll around to check out dublin? Definitely a wait and a two drink limit for Pliny. Line went fast and bartenders were nice. They suggested a few beers after Pliny was sold out that I liked. I forgot to take a picture of it though:/ Doggos welcomed at this establishment. Yay;)

Yelp
I can confirm that they do Thursday night trivia. They start at 7pm but there is a slight delay so you can make it if you're close by. I think this bar is actually quite nice - plenty of room, decent rotation beer selection, and lots to do. They have a shuffleboard table, two cornhole set ups, and a dart board. The only thing they could do better is have some music to keep the bar vibes going because when I was there after trivia, I didn't hear any music. I'd come back to this bar over and over again. No qualms here! One thing to know, they only have a 9" pizza to offer as food so either eat before and bring something to eat there. You'll be able to keep the vibes going then.

Sudhakar K.

Yelp
For beer lovers, especially the IPA fans, it's a decent spot . The unique part is you get to pick your brew based on the hop levels - that's a big thumbs up from me . Space-wise, they've got it covered - it's spacious with plenty of room for everyone, plus some little play activities . The overall vibe is pretty laid back, good for a casual hangout . Food-wise, it's kind of hit-or-miss - no regular menu, but they do have a food truck pop up sometimes. It's alright for a quick bite, but I wish they had more stable food options . The bartenders are Friendly and service is good . If you're nearby and looking for a chill spot, it could be the one. Just don't expect it to blow your mind .

Yelp
Fun place. Casual vibe, great selection of craft beers. Why is this place fun? Astroturf corn hole "field". Tabletop shuffleboard games. Bar AND lawn chair seating. And dog friendly--if your dog is friendly! Inside an unassuming warehouse surrounded by auto repair places. No food inside, but they have a food truck parked outside most evenings, in case you get hungry. Easy parking in the lot out back, plus street parking out front. Updated screens behind bar display the available beers--grouped by type (wheat, IPA, etc).

Eric C.

Yelp
I am sad to leave this review as love Three Sheets. Only one bar tender to serve +40 people just doesn't cut it. Really long wait just to order a beer. Please fix this or we will need to find another place to visit every week!

Gil S.

Yelp
A very large space, almost industrial, with a very high ceiling and lots of room. There are probably 2-3 tables outside at the front and there is a shuffleboard table inside and some cornhole boards. The beer selection was good and the barman was very friendly. There is an open door policy for food i.e. you can bring in your own food from any of the places nearby.

Micah S.

Yelp
Such a great spot to enjoy a beer. Their draft selection is always on point and their tv set up is top notch. When I'm home visiting the Bay Area this is a must stop. They had the Ghost Town and Altamont collab 'Bines of Death' I think that was the name. It was by far the best beer I had on my holiday visit home. Was so stoked they had it, Altamont was sold out of it at their brewery and could t find it anywhere else.

Grace V.

Yelp
Fun Beers! We got our food from a local burrito shop near by. I believe Three Sheets serves pizza too. Their tap list was on Untapped so it was fun to look at the descriptions and ratings, then order our beers.

Vivian N.

Yelp
This is the second time I've been here and I would love to keep coming back! This is a great place to come with friends and grab a beer. The vibe here is so chill and balanced. The voice level is not too loud, the music choices are good, the place isn't too crowded, the staff/customers are friendly, and the beers are decently priced! All things that are a major win in my book. A good tell tale that this is a solid place is that they have kind regulars. There are people who consistently come in every week and enjoy a beer. They have great relationships with the people who work there and are so nice to everyone who comes in. To me that is how you can tell this is a fun place to be. I would definitely come back here with friends even if it means driving all the way from Milpitas. I really enjoy this place and wish it was closer! Can't wait to share this gem with my friends!

Zach G.

Yelp
Five stars all the way on this craft beer bar. This place opened up a few years back and has become one of the best staples in the area for good beer and good times. They have shuffleboard, corn hole, the staff are exceedingly knowledgeable about beer; and, most importantly, they always have great beers on tap. There are some snacks food options, but I'd recommend eating before you come: there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Jim R.

Yelp
Stopped by with a buddy to grab a beer after the niner game on Sunday. They weren't busy at all and the bartender barely acknowledged us. I smiled and said hello and she literally showed zero emotion. I literally felt like we were bothering her. We didn't feel very welcomed so we finished our beers and left. I guess it's too hard to be friendly these days. Wait! Other places are, so I guess we'll just there...

K V.

Yelp
Super unfriendly bartender. We walked in, said hi directly to her and she didn't even acknowledge us. Gave us drinks without speaking. Walked back to the bar looking like she hated her life. It felt very unwelcoming and we left shortly. The vibe was awful

JoAnn S.

Yelp
I am not a beer drinker, but my partner loves good beer. He got Downtown Brown Ale and is very satisfied with it. We brought in our own growler to fill, but because of Covid they aren't filling customer's containers. You can still buy 32 or 64 ounces of beer, but it goes in their container. The room has high ceilings and there are doors at both ends that were wide open so there is plenty of ventilation. Masks are required at this time. You may be wondering what I got from a beer hall since I don't like beer. I got a can of Hazy Strawberry Hard Cider by Tieton Works. They have a large refrigerator filled with a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. If we are in Dublin and my partner has a hankering for beer we'll stop here.

Timothy T.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe. Came here with friends after coming from another brewery, I think I liked this spot more since it was less crowded and had shuffle board and corn hole to entertain. The staff is really cool to talk to and they are really patient with drink selection. The prices are great and the atmosphere is more like a dive bar.

Jasmine F.

Yelp
We love going here for trivia on Wednesdays and trying new beers! It's a great vibe, staff is nice and friendly. If the food truck is in the back, the garage door is open and it can get pretty chilly, so be sure to bring a jacket. They don't serve food except pizzas I believe, so we usually bring our own takeout with napkins and utensils. Chill and casual spot

Jamee S.

Yelp
I'm not a beer person so I know I'm not the best critic. They only serve beers and a couple ciders. They let me try the 2 they had and I ended up ordering the Made Marion which was delicious. Pretty good for someone who doesn't like beer. You can bring your dog to hang out. There's no food. I think just pizza. Service was fine. You can reserve this place for an event and hire your own DJ and caterer.

Kartika H.

Yelp
great place, nice ambience, and great staffs with lits of beer choices. recommended place for hanging out with your colleagues...

Blake T.

Yelp
Perfect dive bar, friendly staff and great prices. Highly recommend. Beer and shot specials.

Shannon D.

Yelp
What a rad little hole in the wall place! My husband has been wanting to try this bar for awhile, so while we were in town visiting we decided it's time. Luckily we came at a time where it wasn't to busy, we walked in and this place was huge! Tall ceilings, lots of seating, games (shuffle board, darts, and corn hole). The owner was super friendly, there were a couple of guys sitting at the bar that had two dogs, which were so sweet. The environment was inviting, we liked that it was simple and straight to the point rather than trying to over do decorations and make it fancy, it was a cool hangout spot. Would definitely come back here, plus the prices are great!

Brenda G.

Yelp
I don't drink often, but I love this place. They have a beer, wine or cider for every taste. They have a few snacks and surprisingly good cheese or pepperoni pizzas. There are TVs showing all the games, they often have food trucks parked right in front and the staff is very friendly. Plus, they encourage you to bring your dog and even have a large jar of dog treats for them. It's a great place to go to watch a game, relax and have a drink.

Evangelene G.

Yelp
Update: - Great service - Pizza is now available, as well as chips - Limited seating available indoors and outdoors in front of the bar. With Covid-19 restrictions, I'm comfortable with being indoors because the back area opens up and it's well ventilated. Staff wears masks and the customers I noticed wore masks when ordering drinks. - Hand sanitizing stations are available. I have to be honest, I'm not a beer person, but the service is great and I actually found a pilsner I liked today.

Zebra Z.

Yelp
The bartender, Aubrey, literally makes this place!! Super personable- knowledgeable and attentive. Always the good conversationist and has great drink recommendations! Unfortunately, the place is dead a lot of the time unless there's an event and the only event that the owners will allow is trivia night on Thursdays. If the owners got their sh** together, they could really make this place a hot spot. Bartenders like Aubrey are literally the only thing carrying this place from going under since back lounge is right up the road with karaoke.. Hope this place starts having more events - maybe a weekly video game night and possibly karaoke?? Insulate that ceiling asap ;) (more food would be good-The food trucks that are supposed to be scheduled are unreliable since the bar traffic has been slowing)

Hamed A.

Yelp
Walked in, first time. Got greeted real quick, let us sample some beers. Figured out what we wanted and ordered. Simple, easy, fast. Loved it! Great atmosphere, lots of tvs with different stations playing. Nice spot to chill, outdoor and indoor. Was great!! Would definitely go back

Steve T.

Yelp
Lots of beer selections but food was limited due to pandemic. Lady serving was nice . Ambience is so so as it's sidewalk seating on a noisy street. Still appreciate a place to enjoy beer with buddies.

Nancy C.

Yelp
Quick take: Super chill bar Very spacious establishment. Big screen and TV over the bar for sports. I liked the lacquered cooper bar top.Our bartender last night was Brian. Very friendly and great service. We ordered a flight which included 4 5oz. beers. They have a 3 page big screen menu. What is the name of that board? Lol I also saw a shuffleboard and a section for cornhole. A lot of pup style tables. Super chill vibe. That was my favorite part. Will definitely be back. Oh, beer is pretty good too. Favorite drink was Brainless Raspberry.

Alex L.

Yelp
Been here multiple times over the years. Haven't been back in over a year so I wanted to show my wife this cool spot. Walked in and the bartender had no emotion at all. Didn't say what's up or anything. A man of few words to say the least. I gave him my ID while I looked at the beer options. He looked confused and said idk if I can take this lol then he started comparing it to his ID. Turned around and went to his iPad and inspected it some more. Looked at it for a solid min or 2. Im 30 years old lol idk why he thought my Id was fake. Anyway, this guy sucks and im sure im not the only one who thinks this. He clearly should not be working in any position where he has to interact with people. Not sure who hired this guy, but it's safe to say nobody comes here for his service.

J S.

Yelp
Impressively good beer selection. I had an easy drinking Kolsch and a fantastic imperial milk stout. Wowzas. Dog friendly. Bring your own outside food if you'd like. If anyone is loud, the whole place is loud with echoes, so it's not a place for quiet contemplation. The crowd on Sunday evening was mellow and friendly.

Nicole N.

Yelp
I love this place especially when they have the food truck in the back great reasonable drinks good for people that have pets because you can actually bring them in me personally it smells like dogs but if you can get over that smell is nice
