"I was excited to learn that the two-level, 3,300-square-foot former Art Haus building, vacant since a 2013 remodel, will finally be filled downtown by Three Sheets Craft Beer Bar. Revealed back in October, the owners have quickly upgraded the space across Casino Center Drive from Vesta Coffee Roasters, finishing priming the front, beginning to paint a gray ceiling and blue walls, and installing a galvanized steer bar top; they had been hoping for a March debut. The original Three Sheets in Dublin, California—about 35 miles east of downtown San Francisco—is run by self-described 'craft beer nerds' Wendy Rather and Stefanie Jackel, who prefer leaving food to the experts in the area and encourage patrons to bring in your own food (BYOF) or dine from a roster of scheduled food trucks. Expected to favor local brews, the bar will continue its tradition of more than 20 taps of premier craft beer rotating frequently for you to explore, and it will keep the large 'bar' sign that dominates the outside of the building, a remnant from the failed speakeasy project The Hawthorne." - Bradley Martin
