"A spokesperson for the largest online seller of used books says interest in the author's titles comes in waves: bestsellers like Martha Stewart’s Martha Stewart’s Homekeeping Handbook: The Essential Guide to Caring for Everything in Your Home and Entertaining continue to drive sales (the latter’s were spiked by the CNN series). Interest "ebbs and flows" seasonally with winter and the holidays, picked up at the start of the pandemic, and also breaks down geographically — the books are most popular in the Northeast and generally in "blue states," with Connecticut, New Jersey, and Massachusetts showing a relatively higher proportion of sales. Age trends show most interest coming from young people as well as the 55+ demographic. The seller notes it hasn't moved many items it would consider "collectible," likely because the author is still publishing frequently, and reports that about 20 percent of customers who purchase her books buy three or more." - Bettina Makalintal

The first 100 pages were missing from the book I ordered. Not exactly a "used-very good" book. Furthermore, it costs me more to ship the book back than the purchase cost. So now I'm stuck with a book starting at page 101. Terrible experience. This really puts me off of buying used books.

Best place to buy used books. I paid $10 dollars for a "like new" book that was $25 "super used" on Amazon. The book in question was a revised version of a book written in 1910. I have bought many books from this store over the years including college textbooks. I had a mishap with an Incorrect ISBN number one time. I was refunded and allowed to keep the book. It was a nice gesture and proof that they take customer service very seriously. I am very happy with the overall quality of everything I have ever purchased even when it was in used and in good condition. They have higher standards of quality for their books compared to their competitors. I will continue to shop at Thriftbooks because their prices are unbeatable and they offer vintage items not available at New book stores.

Not the best to deliver to. Very slow to do anything. Probably they takes breaks about every 2 hrs. It appears that they is no management anywhere, or it’s just poorly managed. Definitely not the worst, but far from the best

Probably the worst service I’ve ever got. Ordered a book from them off of Amazon. Usually when you ship a package, you don’t use gift wrap. Or you tell the customer “Hey, we said we have it in the US but actually we don’t so we’re not going to mislead you by shipping it from the UK and making you wait. Sorry about that” When I got my book in the mail the front cover, a HARD cover, was torn and I had to duct tape the spine. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because I actually enjoy the book DESPITE the abysmal service I got. P.S. it would be nice if I could find you guys on Amazon so I could ask for a partial refund but it seems as though I can’t. Oh well.

Unload at speed of a snail, lost my paperwork for the load, had to wait days to get it then didn't pay but $25hr for detention. We had to cancel numerous loads cause of how long it took.
