Thrill Korean BBQ is hands down one of our favorite dining spots! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and modern with a very appealing aesthetic. It feels lcomfortable, perfect for all. The food is absolutely outstanding. Every single item we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The meats are succulent, well-seasoned, and high quality. Everything tastes delicious, and you can truly tell they care about the dining experience. My child loved both the food and the overall experience, which made it even more enjoyable for me. I’ve recommended Thrill to my sister, and she loved it just as much as we did! It’s the kind of place you’re excited to tell others about. The only small downside is that the original $25 per person buffet pricing which initially drew me in, has been replaced with a discounted offer instead. While I do miss the old buffet structure for budgeting reasons, the food quality and experience still make it well worth it. Overall, I strongly recommend Thrill Korean BBQ. Delicious food, great vibe, and a wonderful experience every time!

We have been going to thrill since it opened years ago. We took some time away and came back And the menu is totally Different. We were pretty disappointed with the meal. Rice was crunchy. Atmosphere was pretty dead but I get it’s a week night. Kimchi wasflavorless and we’ve Never had to ask for sides like radish before… if you are newer to kbbq this place may fit The standard but for Us as veterans we won’t be back…

Went late on a Friday night, wait for table for two was about 15 minutes so we had a drink at the bar. My white Russian and his crown and coke were great--definitely well proportion of alcohol. We were sat and the table is setup with condiments and a few veggies. Our server, Hunter, was great throughout our entire visit and broke down the run of show meticulously with it being our first time there Appetizers highlights: we loved the chicken dumplings and Korean fried chicken. Entrees/Protein: our favorites were the Hawaiian steak and and Cajun shrimp. It was great that we could essentially cook our protein to our desired doneness. For two our bill came to about $90. We will be back!

Absolutely LOVE thrill! I would frequently dine here a couple of years ago until I moved out of the area. I’m back now, and my family and I went for my brother’s birthday. Not only is the atmosphere incredible, but they have the service to match! Anaya you’re amazing and Brian your mixology skills are top tier! When I go to a bar sometimes I get sick of my usual and like to mix things up— so I ask the bar tender to fix me their specialty. Let’s just say Brian’s drink is top 3 and it’s not #2 or #3! Get a passion fruit marg or ask Brian to make you something! Not to mention the staffs camaraderie! Keep up the great work thrill staff! All of you! God bless ❤️

We’ve ordered takeout from Thrill Korean BBQ in Sandy Springs plenty of times — the spicy beef bulgogi, chicken dumplings, rice cakes, and rice never disappoint. But this was our first time actually dining in, and it was an even better experience than we expected! The food was phenomenal across the board, but my favorite protein had to be the Denver cut steak — incredibly tender and flavorful. The ambiance was also really nice and modern, which made the dine-in experience feel elevated yet comfortable. Huge shoutout to Taj and Rafael for the amazing service! They were both so attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back for more — this place is a gem!

We had Tony and Ting as our servers and they were and are, always amazing! Nee and Baron were wonderful in checking with us, and I love requesting any of them when we are here. The food is always amazing, and they were quick about bringing them out. They helped me pick out a drink as well and it turned out so amazing that I got a second one. It was a slow night, so they were able to check on us often and make sure we had everything we wanted

What a wonderful experience! My husband, friend, and I came here on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated quickly and our server, Koa, was very personable and professional. We ordered a couple of apps, which were delicious, and asked for lettuce for wraps. We could order two meats at a time, and I think we ordered a tiro al of eight or ten proteins. My favorites were the bone in short ribs and the garlic shrimp. All of the sides were delicious, and my husband loved the pickled vegetables. I liked the macaroni salad. The music was upbeat and everything was bright and clean. Our server came and wiped off the grill several times, and he helped us cook the meat when we needed help. Overall, this was a great experience! My husband is now a k-bbq fan, which is a big deal. I recommend this place for small groups and for food lovers! $50 per person is high, but the food and experience are definitely worth it!

This is an AYCE type of Korean BBQ. So basically you get a grill at the center of the table and they keep bringing you meat to grill (yourself). The area is in a strip mall and it's free parking. There are a lot of walkable areas so parking and walking around after a dinner would be something that you could do. The vibe at the restaurant is super nice. They have an upstairs area so there is a lot of space inside the establishment. There is a lot of light so even though the decorations are dark wood, it's still bright. On the weekends it's the standard dinner pricing (the Donner and weekend price is $50 a person). Everybody needs to be able to eat the same, so just be aware that everybody at the table has to be on the same page. And also, there's no carry out for all you can. They bring the meat two at a time, and they bring a bunch of different accommodations in the forms of salad and kimchi and wraps and such. The appetizers are coming out hot so you have to think about ordering those. But it's pretty straightforward, order all to meat you want. I like the fact that The waitresses and waiters will want to grill for you between food and help you cook your food for you. I bet you may need it but it's nice that they actually try. That's a really good touch. For the appetizers I tried the Korean fried chicken, spicy, and I tried the chicken dumplings on my first go. The spicy chicken was fried chicken tossed in a spicy sauce and it was pretty tasty and savory with the proper spice. The dumplings didn't come with a sauce but I dipped mine in some yum yum sauce and that made it good. The egg souffle was also pretty good. Very light and airy. For my meat I tried to different cut steak and to be brisket to start off. I also tried the Hawaiian steak and the spicy beef bulgogi. I also dabbled in plenty of peppers /onions/ and mushrooms so they helped accommodate the meal. Aside from the Hawaiian (which may have had a little too much sweet for me), Everything was good. The bulgogi was kind of fatty but had plenty of favor. I ordered a few orders of brisket, they add sesame oil and a salt and pepper blend and it hits every time! This is a solid choice and has a lot of options (as long as you pay attention to the pay points regarding what days are a specific price).

First timers at Korean BBQ, we visited Thrill for the AYCE lunch special and were so glad we did. The restaurant was clean and attractive. I'm sure it's even more beautiful at night. For $25 a person, the AYCE was an incredible deal. My husband and I had the chicken dumplings (amazing), house fried rice, lemon pepper chicken, teriyaki chicken, beef bulgogi, and pork belly. The food was delicious, and our server, Taj, was incredibly helpful in ensuring everything was cooked properly. We left stuffed. Highly recommend this restaurant and experience!

Quality KBBQ! Thrill has easily become one of my highly recommended spots for Korean bbq. I ordered the melon alcoholic beverage and it was really delicious! The service was efficient and friendly and they even came by to flip our meat for us. When we arrived it seemed a little empty but I think it was because they have sufficient room for large parties.

Went here for lunch after the gym and it was amazing!! The service was great! Our waiter was perfect, he made our lunch very special and the inside of the restaurant was very well kept, clean, and pretty! We ordered bulgogi and shrimp, our waiter cooked it for us and kept checking on us to make sure it was ready. The sides were amazing, especially the green onion salad..to die for! Definitely will be coming back!

I visited Thrill Korean BBQ for lunch, arriving around 2:30 pm on a slow Sunday. We were promptly seated and presented with an array of sides listed on the menu, including kimchi, pasta salad, broccoli, pickled onions and jalapenos, radish wraps, house salad, green onion salad, and spicy radish salad. Of all the sides, the green onion salad stood out as my favorite; however, the others lacked flavor and freshness. Curious about others' experiences, I turned to TikTok and Yelp for reviews. Some TikTok users claimed the grills were non-stick, preventing food from burning easily when changing proteins. Contrary to this, my experience differed. When our server placed Spicy Beef Bulgogi on the grill, it instantly smoked, requiring a plate swap. This happened with every item cooked, making the ventilation inadequate and leaving us smelling like we had been by a grill all afternoon. A positive aspect was the attentive server who ensured a steady flow of proteins to our table. Unfortunately, the rice provided was cold, lacking warmth. The $45 price tag, covering appetizers, sides, unlimited protein, and soft drinks, seemed reasonable. However, I was disappointed in the quality of meat, not considering it the best cuts as suggested by TikTok reviews. I ordered the Hawaiian Steak, Thrill Steak Medallions, Marinated Galbi, Teriyaki Chicken, Pork Belly, and Garlic Calamari. The steaks were fatty, and some proteins lacked flavor when cooked. The only exception was the enjoyable Hawaiian Steak. The appetizers, including Cheese Corn, Chicken Dumplings, Rice Cakes, and Spicy Fried Chicken, tasted as if they had been sitting out for a while and were not fresh, contradicting TikTok recommendations. Comparatively, I usually dine at Iron Age, where the food quality surpasses my experience at Thrill. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Trill Korean BBQ as a must-try until they improve their food quality.

I used to frequent thrill almost every weekend. Once their price increased, I stopped going. It's a far drive for me and I could no longer justify the cost. We were in the area and figured we'd treat ourselves. With as much competition as there are now, this is just one I wouldn't frequent often. It makes sense for those who live nearby but otherwise meh. The service was terribly slow for not being rush hour. They apparently gave our sides to another table so we had to wait even longer for them and there were many times our grill was empty because the server was no where to be found to order more. I enjoy the variety of items they offer but, if I can't even order them then it's pointless. The bartender and front staff were friendly and quick. It could have been an off night for the server or the kitchen so take what is said with a grain of salt.

Trying new things is such a big treat in the food world. Here are a few fun facts about Thrill Korean steak and bar. Upon arriving to this restaurant, you can enter either on the shopping center side, or there is parking on the front side of the restaurant. As you walk into the restaurant, you will notice a full bar and several tables for seating. Reservations are definitely recommended especially if you have large parties. The establishment was very clean and the staff were friendly. The food presentation was beautiful, but some of the foods tastes could have been better. The cocktails were refreshing and I definitely went back for another. Overall, the restaurant was good. It's in a perfect location and I would recommend it for those who are trying it out for the first time.

My daughter and I had great expectations but while service was good, we did not like the food. We do not eat pork and decided to stick with the beef choices. I hate to say the quality of the different cuts of meat was not there. Beef Brisket had no flavor, Beef Bulgogi was over marinated as well as the short rib and the rib-eye. Every bite was either flavorless or super salty. The small dishes/appetizers are very basic and I did not find them appealing at all. Ate little, spent way too much. $45 a person + drinks + tax + tip......$130 total (2 people). All you can eat when you are not liking anything is almost a torture. The 3 stars are for the host and the wait staff.

I really enjoyed eating here. They are super nice and friendly. They also cook for you while you watch. I always burn my food so I'm glad they did. I am used to going to these type of places and come out smelling like smoke but this place airs out pretty good so you don't have to worry about that. The food is pretty good. I really liked the Kal-bi or bone in spareribs. Sides were also plentiful and just as good. Hope that you like like kimchi.

First things first, the service was amazing! January 11th the day before my birthday, and the server was attentive, informative, quick, patient, and friendly. That made the experience that much better. Nice seats, great looking bar, and every bite of the food was delicious. Having just returned from Korea myself and having Bulgogi, this place DID NOT MISS. The biggest highlight honestly is the service which I cannot emphasize enough. While I genuinely feel bad I don't remember the you by gentlemen's name, it's important to highlight exceptional service when it happens. We also had spicy pork belly and chicken teriyaki and both were fantastic ! Highly recommend, especially for their $25 special.

Updating my review after trying again , Generally why I gravitate towards korean food is because they always have a balance spicy, salty, sour, acidic, garlic. And a bit sweet too. I have to say the bulgogi is strange its seasoned but not juicy like what I'm used to. Salty finish and dry and sticks together. It also a bit boring as theirs no onion or anything. Can I have Yoshinoya instead? The rice cake this time is stiff vs somewhat soft and "firm" . This time very salty. Not enough sauce The kimchi salty too. If I were a snail, I'd be dead! I think for the $15 price point I can't complain as its still okay food. I won't be ordering here again though. Korean food is popular and competitive and there's much better places at similar price point.

There was nothing thrilling about Thrill. While the ambiance is quite modern and their service solid, the food was lackluster. On the positive side, their menu is extensive in terms of appetizers, sides, marinated and unmarinated proteins, desserts, and drinks. Their Korean Fried Chicken, Fried Tofu, and Kimchi Chimps were disappointing. We tried a myriad of their protein options and nothing impressed us. Totally bland. For $50 per person, I expect so much more. I've been to many great Korean steak houses in the US and abroad (including South Korea), and Thrill is at the bottom of the barrel. In summary - overpriced, a bit pretentious, and flavorless.

Thrill KBBQ is a great KBBQ place that does have a higher price point than other KBBQ joints, but the ambience and meat selection is there! The lack of big projectors playing loud KPOP definitely won't be here! Service for a Sunday night was so great and the servers really were always there when we needed them to cut up meat or flip. I usually do all this for my table, but they did really well and I had no issues. The banchan here and other side dishes are great as well. Love me some Thrill!

I love Korean BBQ and decided to try this place to celebrate with family after a huge accomplishment. The ambience of this place is great, has modern decor and dim lighting. I came during lunchtime on a weekday, it was relatively busy but the wait wasn't too long. The service was good; they checked up on us frequently throughout our dining experience. They had a lot of banchan (Korean side dishes), but I felt that taste-wise they were very mediocre. The quality of meat wasn't great - generally for AYCE (all you can eat), the meat quality goes down but I felt that compared to other AYCE meat qualities for other kbbq places in metro Atlanta, this was very unimpressive. For example, the brisket tasted a little flat, and the sauces weren't flavorful enough. - attentive staff - they gave us complimentary Melona at the end of our meal! - quality of all-you-can-eat meat wasn't fantastic - banchan was very mediocre

Thrill is tucked away, but it's definitely worth searching out. Drinks, Korean BBQ and great friends. You can't beat this combination. The sides could improve. They don't give as many as some other Korean BBQ places, but the meat selections are great. I would come back just for the drinks. Lots of variety and some pretty cool concoctions. Service was friendly and fast.

We had an amazing experience at Thrill up in Sandy Sorings tonight! Our server Tai was top-notch - attentive, skilled at cooking our proteins to perfection, and always pleasant when we had questions. Plus, they added a dash of charm to our evening. :) When things got busy, their co-server Andrea stepped in seamlessly and provided the same high level of service. Great teamwork! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Visited this place yesterday after leaving a training on that side of town. I saw that it was female owned and the menu looked good so no harm in trying it right. It was 5pm on Thursday and the restaurant wasn't packed at all. It appears very kid friendly. The restaurant itself has a nice, low light setting. There is plenty of space and they do have areas for larger parties. Service was A1! Please order your drinks with Ty. I ordered a side car and he made it to perfection! June and Increase were our servers. They actually come around and cook the food for you which is the first time I've seen that level of service at Korean BBQ. They are very attentive. The food was awesome! They even include Ramen in the price of your all you can eat. All appetizers are included. Soft drinks and tea are included as well. I did not like the taste of the beef steak. It was also tough to chew. I wouldn't recommend the the Cajun shrimp either but lemon pepper shrimp, beef bulgogi, Korean friend chicken and cheese corn was good. They offer plenty of options on the table as well. The server said that they are opened late on Friday and Saturday. You can expect to here music and there may be more of a upbeat crowd. I'll let y'all know if I check them out for the late night scene.

Holy cow!!! Best Korean bbq in Atlanta! Totally worth the price. There's plenty of parking, since the location is in the back of a strip mall. I LOVED the spicy beef bulgogi, by far a stand out for me! I also loved the egg soufflé. This spot has great apps, delicious well seasoned meats, and awesome bonchon! We'll definitely be back. Ohh and you can't beat the service or ambiance bc it's legit gorgeous in here. Come check them out!

My wife and I were looking forward to try Thrill Korean BBQ in Sandy Springs, buy oh such a let down. Aside from decent service, we were quite disappointed. The ban chan were okay but not quite up to par flavor wise, corn cheese was more like dry canned corn with hardly a hint of cheese, and the meets such as spicy beef bulgogi and spicy pork belly were quite bland. Even the Korean Fried chicken was disappointing, the worst I've ever had. So what was good? The steamed egg was good as was the spicy rice cake. But overall, a disappointing experience that my wife and I agreed there would not be a return visit. With such a wide variety of good KBBQ available, it was worth the try but not worth coming back.

Had not had Korean BBQ since before the pandemic, so I was really excited to try this place out. We went to the recommendation of a friend who would been there before, and I can say that we were not disappointed. The price is $40 a person, but you get over 23 tors of meats, and you were basically have unlimited appetizers as well, honestly my favorite appetizer was the cheese corn, which was surprisingly flavorful, despite being true to the original dish. We really enjoyed all of the meats, and we were especially happy with the service, which was fast and very pleasant. The owner herself actually came to check in on us, and we really appreciated that. The overall place gives the vibes of a very chic, elegant, but very modern restaurant, and it is the perfect place to go for a night out!

One of the better Korean barbecue places I've been to in Atlanta. They have a large assortment of meats and the huge number of side dishes. My favorite meets were the galbi and smoked pork belly. However, I'm not a huge fan of the bulgogi - The taste just seems really off and not anything similar to the authentic Korean version. But overall, I've had a pretty good experience both times that I've been here. The waiters will come by and help you cook the meat but of course you can cook it yourself if that's something you want to do.

I brought my parents here for the first time and we had Tony and Koa as our servers. We had a wonderful time, full of laughter and excellent service. We also had a few drinks with Rachel at the bar who recommended really Good cocktails that we all enjoyed. We will all definitely be back!

I went to Thrill again today and the service as usual was amazing. I enjoyed a Strawberry Margarita and grabbed some potstickers and corn cheese and picked some different proteins with them. A party next too was celebrating a birthday and it was really nice to hear all the guys who worked there being really loud and proud together to sing a quick happy birthday. Devon was our server and he was really awesome. Really nice personality. I can tell the people who work there must like working together. I'll be back! Lol

Food and service were excellent. Portions were ridiculously large to the point that we got meated out. I'm done with meat now, going to have to turn vegan from all the meat I ate. I went in 173lbs, I left looking like Cartman from South Park. As delicious as the food was, I don't think I could come back. I can't eat my monies worth, I am not worthy. The atmosphere was pretty chill, I felt like an old fart hitting up the club with the crowd being so young and I am not THAT old.

They are willing to do the cooking or let you do the cooking - very attentive constantly checking adjusting the grill or cleaning the grill (no change out literally wipe down) The use some type of silicon grill and tongs as the smoke was very minimalistic! Lychee Asian beer and strawberry soju - delicious and paired well with all the consumption. The quality of meats! Delicious! Pork belly no skimping here Brisket easily shared to consume more The Galabi - pork beef patty goodness! We had a company outing and surprisingly was pretty empty for a Friday night that we were able to snag a table by walk-in, granted it did get busy around 7:30. I was weary of this place and thought it was just another pretty KBBQ spot, but overall was a decent experience and they have so many options that you'll sure to find sides and meat of your liking. I didn't pay but I believe it was around $40 per person for AYCE and that is the only option that they have. Meat wise, my favorites were the brisket, Denver cut, and pork belly. In other reviews, steak medallions were known to be tasty as well but we missed to order this so I'll definitely try this next time. Side wise, I would say to skip all the fried stuff like the fried chicken and tofu. Rice cake, corn cheese, and egg souffle were all on the more dry side but I liked all the pickled and fresh veggies like the green onion salad, pickled veggies, radish wraps, and kimchi. What our table loved was the ramen since it's just a staple to a late night meal. Next time, I do want to order the sliced pineapples, lettuce wraps, and kimchi jjigae that we had missed this time. For drinks, they had variety of options and my passionfruit mojito was pretty tasty but on a weaker side. To finish off our satisfying meal, we had melona ice cream. In the end, we were thrilled to have come here and service was great! I felt like they had catered to us every step of our meal and while there's 2 hour limitation per visit, I didn't feel rush at all. Couple things to note: - Bathroom was clean but be careful with the hot water because it is pipping hot. I think they actually need to put a caution sign since its a hazard. - I would stick to the left side of the restaurant or upstairs. There's a nail place next door and I smelled the acetone. - You can either park in the Canton Cooks/Whole Foods plaza lot and walk through the corner to the restaurant or make the left on the next street over to park in the back of the restaurant.

This might've been one of the best all you can eat Korean bbq places I've been to. The meat quality was above average. I especially liked the Galbi and was surprised they offer smoked pork belly on the menu! This is the first time I've seen that item available and it didn't disappoint! The Denver cut steak is also great. I would say the marinated meats shone above the non-marinated ones. The servers were great at efficiently cooking everything for us. The sides were also pretty solid; definitely try the steamed egg. It has an immaculate texture. Will be coming back.

In Maryland, where I used to live, I used to visit a Korean bbq place called the Honey Pig all the time. Since moving down to the Atlanta area I've been looking for a place with delish Korean bbq. I found it here at Thrill. My husband and I recently visited for the second time. We went on a Saturday right when they opened when they have the dinner menu available. For appetizers we added the fried chicken and chicken dumplings. We also got about 6 different kinds of protein like the spicy pork belly, garlic calamari, and spicy beef bulgogi. Everything was so good and the service was top tier. We will be back and it is worth the 40 minute drive for us.

I was looking for a new KBBQ place to try and came across Thrill. It had awesome reviews and it looked like they had way more to choose from as far as proteins and sides than most KBBQ places I went to. It did not disappoint. My party of 4 waited about an hour on a busy Saturday night. We had 3 rounds of brisket, 2 rounds of galbi, 2 different pork bellies and sides. My favorite side was the egg soufflé. It was so juicy and fluffy! Our server Rafael was amazing! He always made sure that we had everything we needed, and if he was too busy with another group, another server would pop up and happily serve us. The customer service was definitely the best I've had in a very long time! Thrill is absolutely worth the wait and worth the $40 a person. They also serve you Melona(melon) ice cream at the end to cleanse your palate. Will be back and highly recommend if you only have one KBBQ place to go to!

Stopped in for a late lunch with a friend. Lunch goes until 3pm and is only $18. Our server Daisy was amazing. I told her right as we sat down that we can eat a lot. She took it in stride as we ordered wave after wave of meats and banchan. She never rushed us or even questioned our order as empty plates kept piling up. All the sauces and flavors are amazing (and yes we did cook it ourselves) The interior feels fancy, upscale, and modern. Nearly two hours later we finally had to tap out. We took it as a compliment when she said it's the most eaten she has ever seen. Thanks for a great lunch Thrill and Daisy

I'm not a Korean bbq guru but I always enjoy the food here. It's very consistent and a bit upscale. We bring my young kids, and they love getting to experience the fun of the fire and grilling your own food.

The ambiance was really nice & our server Austin was absolutely amazing !! Great service , great suggestions, great food overall. I would definitely recommend for a group of friends or a date night.
