The 38 Best Restaurants in Barcelona

"Tiberi Bar was born from the Tiberi Club, a popular organizer for creative events and pop-ups that fuse eating and art. Tucked away on a quiet street in Poble Sec, the minimalist, airy interior, with high ceilings and plenty of windows, is the perfect scene for a rotating roster of colorful sharing plates inspired by Catalan traditions and the flavors of the Mediterranean, paired with unique natural wines from small local producers. Duck terrine with pistachios, crunchy polenta with sage, smoked sardine with sour cream and whole grain mustard, and a pork confit sandwich with red cabbage play upon well-worn local staples with surprising flavors." - Sam Zucker

15 Best Wine Bars in Barcelona

"They say ‘X’ marks the spot. In the case of Barcelona's Tiberi Bar, the gaggle of fashionistas in a somewhat dingy street at the back of Apolo nightclub tells us something is afoot. The interior is giving pared-back, post-industrial hip, with a side of cozy courtesy of the low-lit tables and striking green marble bar. With Catalonia making a name as one of the world’s leading natural wine-producing regions, it is no surprise that its capital is overrun with natural wine bars. Some are more deserving of your time than others. Tiberi definitely qualifies in the worthwhile category, not only because its list is huge and mostly local, but also because the staff won’t look down their nose at you if you’re into the natural philosophy but not here for the funk. Tiberi is fun but not rowdy, and equally suited to a quiet weekday dinner or the first stop on a night out. Bring that one friend who “doesn’t like natural wine” and they’ll be sure to leave a convert." - Gemma Askham

The 14 Best Wine Bars In Barcelona

"El Poble-Sec always teeters on the edge of hipness but never quite gets there. Tiberi is the spot that may tip it over the edge—or maybe it already has, judging by the fashionable, mulleted people hanging around the sidewalk while the low-level lighting and bottle-green marble bar beckon them inside like moths to orange wine. Working with mostly small local producers, from Penedès and Tarragona to slightly up the road in the south of France, Tiberi’s natural wine list is diverse enough to please both snobs and newbies. And with glasses starting from €5.50, there’s no reason not to get stuck here. The food is worth a trip in itself. Their take on the Gilda—with a cheese cube and radish added to the world’s best-known pickled anchovy skewer—has achieved legendary status. There are also lots of great vegetarian options, but thankfully, not a Buddha bowl in sight." - isabelle kliger

An architect friend recommended this place as one of the trendiest newcomers in town. Initially, we found the atmosphere a bit cold and unwelcoming. However, once we were seated and started sampling the food, our opinion immediately changed. The dishes here are unique, offering a creative twist you won’t find elsewhere. I highly recommend sharing as many dishes as possible to experience a variety of flavors. Although we didn't try their cocktails since we opted for wine, I have no doubt their drinks are as impressive as their food.

Great food buzzy atmosphere. Suddenly it got very busy and the two waiters were rushed off their feet but they still made us feel looked after.

A very trendy cocktail bar - Catalan tapas with a twist, meets a modern vibe, enhanced by an eclectic crowd, achieving a nice and vibrant atmosphere. The interior is neat, simply sophisticated with charm. We were attended by Phillipe, who was exceptionally helpful with his recommendations, making our experience even better. I would recommend booking, because it’s always packed! 🫒 🍅 The tapas are made with good quality products, probably locally sourced ingredients. In my opinion, the best dish is the chicken focaccia: crispy bread and a savory filling. Their variety of organic wines is remarkable, and the cocktails are nicely balanced - loved the Mezcal Paloma and Pomada 🍸🥃 A nice bar with a sophisticated touch!

Despite an excellent culinary experience and beautifully designed decor, our night at Tiberi fell short of expectations. We had to remind the waitstaff of our order twice, were inexplicably informed that we couldn’t reorder a bottle of wine, and felt rushed to finish our dessert so the table could be cleared. Unfortunately, this left us with the impression that we weren’t truly welcome, which overshadowed an otherwise promising evening.

I was there on Saturday for dinner with a friend. Sat at the bar (my favorite place). The restaurant is very cosy. Small details that make it charming (natural flowers, candles, warm lighting, high ceilings). Nice and friendly service. They advised us on wine and food selection. Cool atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Tiberi Bar – Creative Tapas and an Unforgettable Atmosphere Tiberi Bar is a true hidden gem in Barcelona! It masterfully blends art and gastronomy in a vibrant and innovative way. The creative and flavorful tapas are a delight, and the wine selection is exceptional – not to mention the fun Catalan tradition of drinking wine from porrones (long-necked pitchers) directly into your mouth. A must-visit for anyone looking for a unique, artistic, and immersive dining experience! I will definitely come back!! and keep on rocking :)

Amazing place, cool design, interesting crowd coupled with delicious food and natural wine. The waiters were nice enough not to kick us out despite some loud and obnoxious jokes coming from our group.
