"Tickle Pickle was originally supposed to be called Buns N Roses, but the current name of the Northside burger restaurant won out in a staff vote. Nonetheless, it kept the rock ’n’ roll theme of the original concept. Burgers have names like Breadzepplin, Meatallica, Slaytar, and, yes, even Buns N Roses. All burgers are made with 100 percent Angus beef and outfitted with a variety of toppings like jalapeno poppers or bacon, egg, and cheese. Tickle Pickle also has an extensive vegan menu featuring black bean and Impossible burgers. Food is available for delivery or carryout, and the outdoor patio has propane heaters for the cold months." - Andy Brownfield

I recently visited a fantastic music-themed hamburger joint and had an unforgettable experience! I ordered the "Nom Petty" burger, cooked to a perfect medium to medium-rare as requested, and it might just be the best hamburger I've ever tasted. Alongside it, I enjoyed their medium bone in "flat" wings special request. They were so juicy delicious great flavor and a James brownie chocolate shake for dessert. Everything was absolutely to die for! My friends raved about their "Meatallica" and "Brad Zeppelin" burgers, and the seasoned fries were a hit too. Our server, Brittany, was an absolute gem—super attentive and friendly. She’s expecting a little one in a couple of weeks, and I wish her all the best with her new arrival! The entire staff contributed to the warm, welcoming vibe. We ended up lingering for about two hours, just chatting and soaking in the atmosphere. They even had chalk for the chalkboard by our table, which added a fun, interactive touch. The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though space is a bit limited for both. Parking is street-side, but we had no trouble finding a spot on a Thursday afternoon. Overall, it’s a cozy, enjoyable spot with great food and great vibes—highly recommend!

Google
I found this place by looking through available restaurants and the name caught my eye because I'm a pickle lover. Once I looked at the menu, I knew everyone would agree to eat there. The place is quite small on the inside and decorated quite uniquely. The staff were helpful and answered our questions. There was a little bit of a wait for our food but it was well worth it. They do a very brisk business in carryout and door dashers. If we are in the area again, we would come back and sample more from their menu. After eating, the kid asked for a milkshake and the thing weighed a ton and it lasted the whole ride home, approximately an hour. The kid said it was one of the best shakes he had had. A definite "hole in the wall" gem.

Google
Excelent burger joint. Order at the counter off of the creative chalkboard, enjoy the decor, and they'll bring you your food. I had the black bean burger (Buns N Roses) and added a fried egg. The spicy ketchup was a bit too much for me, so I am glad I got it on the side. For me, it worked well after I diluted it with regular ketchup. The black bean patty was a bit plain by itself, but good on the burger. It came with seasoned fries. I also had The Crainberries salad and swapped out the raspberry vinegarette for ceazer. The salad was large and full of yummyness that could easily have been a meal unto itself. My boyfriend had a The Hamstien (without kraut) with fries. He also got a side salad and the juiciest pickle we had ever seen. We split the James Brownie milkshake that was blended to order. (And by "split", I mean that I drank it and let him buy and taste it... he treats me so well!)

Google
Fun, rock/music-themed burger joint. The menu is on their website and the wall of the restaurant, so I’d recommend you check it out before you walk in (this is an “order at the counter” kinda place). They’ve got lots of options for burger, including various toppings, veggie choices and more. I got the Nom Petty (their take on a mushroom and Swiss burger) and it was great! Fries are pretty tasty. Not a ton of seating inside, but I understand they have a patio (which is nice when the weather cooperates).

Google
Vegan and vegetarian options at a ROCKIN’ burger joint make this spot perfect for the whole family. All the menu items have music related themes. Shakes that are not too thick and again vegan options! Seating is spacious and the wall art is an I Spy book. I give this a Granny Grammy award! Thanks for the perfect place to bring a two year old and a carful of hungry travels on Christmas Eve!

Google
Yummy vegan entrees and it’s so delicious if you want a quick bite to eat. Tickle Pickle has fun vegan food options

Google
This is a great little place. Delicious milkshakes. Our family had 3 different flavors including one vegan. We also had bean burger, regular burger, chicken wrap. All good. French fries were nicely spiced. Staff were pleasant and engaging.

Google
We tried this place for the first time on Sunday and returned the next day. It's definitely on our list now for favorite places to eat. Burgers are really good, fries are tasty, but the salads...OMG a great big bowl of delicious!

Emily M.

Yelp
This is such a cool place! You can't go wrong with a metal and rock themed restaurant with appropriately named menu items. The puns are great. It's so creative and they've got great rock memorabilia and art on the tables. This is one of my brother's favorite places and I can see why! I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon between going to the American Sign Museum and the Newport Aquarium. I got the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sweet Cherry Pie milkshake. Both were amazing! The milkshake is a special for March 2024 but I hope they make it a permanent menu item. The food was incredible - I was with my boyfriend and brother and they both agreed Tickle Pickle was one of the best meals that they had recently. The price is really good for the quality, as well. I hope to stop in again whenever I am in Cincinnati!

Aaron H.

Yelp
Very much worth the drive. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, grabbed a burger, fries, and a shake. Of course, had to snag one of the pickles, too. Will encourage my friends to hit this place up - The burgers are as unique as their names. We had more fun with the menu before we even arrived. Definitely encourage you to try the milkshakes. Service is on point, food is really good, and the crew working are hysterical. Oh, and make sure to ask about the craft beers on tap - The Humble Monk hasn't disappointed yet!

Deonna E.

Yelp
This place won best burger for a reason. It was absolutely delicious. I had the Metallica burger and was in heaven after the first bite. You can taste the quality of the burger instantly. Then, I tried the James Brownie milkshake. It was everything you can imagine about a vanilla milkshake filled with chocolate syrup, pieces of brownie, and topped with whipped cream. This is the place to splurge! Somehow, they also have the best bags of Grippos in town. What I most appreciated was their vegan menu. I met with a friend who had dietary restrictions and enjoyed their black bean burger. The inside is rock themed and edgy. The staff were friendly. Outside patio seating is offered in the back.

Brian O.

Yelp
After leaving the train museum (EnterTrainment Junction), we stopped at Tickle Pickle Northside for lunch. We had two Coney Bennett (hot dog in a pretzel bun covered with chili and cheese), and a black bean burger salad. Everything was good. Very cool paintings and drawings on the walls, typical of what you see in a college town. Speedy service.

Felecia G.

Yelp
I was on the search for a good bean burger. The reviews lead me to here. When I say this was a solid, solid, solid bean burger I mean it. So far, it is the best restaurant bean burger I have had. Seasoned well, grilled just right and tastes overall delicious. The only thing I would change is to melt the cheese a little. I ordered Swiss cheese on my burger and it was not melted at all. I make an awesome bean burger at home, but this one is just as good. I would honestly buy them individually. Off street parking. Plenty of seating to eat inside. I ordered online for carryout.

Mark B.

Yelp
A MUST burger/chicken strip joint! Thanks to Chris and Brad for buying my birthday lunch!

Arthur L.

Yelp
Located in Northside Tickle Pickle is your go to for tasty burgers from local sources. They have both inside seating and an outside patio to handle all your seating needs. Their burgers are eclectic and named after Rock bands. Each burger is topped differently and they have plenty of options. Multiple visits are needed to try all the deliciousness found here. You order at the counter and the staff are happy to assist you in picking your meal and offering suggestions. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) It takes time to craft a masterpiece. The burgers take time to cook and then put together. So expect to wait for your food even if they are not busy at the time of ordering. We also noticed aa lot of carry out orders were placed online which might make your wait even longer. 2) Get a Milkshake. Their shakes are worth their weight in gold. Try on of the their flavors and see for yourself. Tickle Pickle will become your burger spot after one try!!

Yelp
Tickle Pickle was our last stop while in Cincinnati before we flew back to Chicago. We heard really good feedback .... and my gosh they shredded it! They some amazing options as well as some vegan options out in the crowd! I really liked the theme of various music themed menu. They even had some kick ass cocktails. I went with the Rob Zombwich.... and added the impossible burger and a side of fries. I had to make sure and not pass up the Oreo shake. Service was pretty fast ... enjoyed checking out the artwork while waiting. When the food came out i was impressed. The oreo shake was excellent. Then took my first bite in my Zombwich and really really like it... good heat on the spicy side burger was so good!!!! i liked the fries and good crunch and great flavor. The tickle pickle blew me away... damn good and a must visit!

Robyn M.

Yelp
I always forget about going here and my co- worker suggested it for lunch so I was like oh yeah let's go. I love the decor of the place and the menu is actually on the wall when you come in. I ordered a burger called the slayter. It came on a pretzel bun which I was skeptical about because I always think the bun will be hard and tough but it was soft and fresh and it was absolutely delicious it came with a bag of barbecue grippos chips but I did get a chance to taste my co 1worker fries and they were also pretty tasty so I will be getting those next time. I will definitely be back to try some other burgers. I love when I find a new Place that services a great burger!!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Tickle Pickle Northside I would consider to be pretty alright. Food: the burger was decent, but the bun was not toasted and the bread became mushy while eating. The fries, potato salad, and Mac'ncheese were great. I will say that they may need to consider a different pickle vender as the pickle I had was probably one of the least satisfying pickles I have ever eaten in that it had a nasty after taste. Service was normal service and the ambiance felt cool as it was old and rock themed.

Jenni F.

Yelp
The service and food was great. The place looked very dark but artistic. There was art everywhere. The sandwiches/ burger were the best in the city. Highly recommend if you're visiting the city.

Leah S.

Yelp
This place sincerely tickled my pickle. My stomach pickle. my friends and I went for a hike at a park and had a great time. We nourished our inner children by playing on a couple of playgrounds. We hiked for almost five miles, and got so lost that we had a 20 min walk back to the cars! That being said, we were HUNGRY for a delicious lunch. And that tickle pickle did suffice. I got a black bean burger because I am vegetarian (thank you). The fries were also yummy, let's talk about that. My friend got a vegan strawberry milkshake and I was jealous.

Kabrella C.

Yelp
Easily the best burgers/sandwiches in the city. We get a grilled chicken and veggie burger instead of beef patty and it never dissappoints! Highly recommend!

Jill G.

Yelp
Where have I been all my life! Locally owned and fun spot. Get here and tickle your pickle !

Daniel E.

Yelp
BEST Easter lunch EVER! The MEATALLICA is the covers everything, beef, bacon, egg, and cheese. The fries alone are worth the drive. Hoss makes the most INCREDIBLE Oreo Speedwagon milkshake! Looking forward to coming back!

Shannon A.

Yelp
I had the Metallica burger, and my mom had the vegan dog. It took 45 minutes to receive my food, only after I went inside to ask about it. There were only 2 people inside eating, so there was no reason why it would take so long. The counter person went to check, and our food had been ready for a while, just not delivered to us. She acted like it was an inconvenience to get my food. And the people eating their food had come in after us. I get it, mistakes happen, but as long as the food is ok, I'm happy. However, my mom's dog was withered, and her fries were cold. My burger was crunchy, cold, and made me sick. Restaurants have off nights, and I understand that. Although, mentioning this to my aunt, she was here a few months back with her children & grandchildren, and their entire order was messed up, and their food was just as bad.

Bailey D.

Yelp
If you've been looking for a reason to pay a visit to this Northside burger joint ... let this be your sign. My fiancé and I aren't in this neighborhood all that often ... so we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to stop into Tickle Pickle, and we're so glad we did. Immediately upon entering, you're struck by a casual, welcoming vibe. This is definitely an elbows-on-the-table kind of place - but I wouldn't want it any other way. If the fun, musically-themed burger names don't get you excited ... that first bite definitely will. I ordered the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" burger, and instantly fell in love. This was the perfect balance of heat and flavor - not to mention, the patty was perfectly cooked, and the bun just lightly toasted. All of their burgers are served with seasoned fries - which were delightfully crispy, and easy to munch on. If you're looking for some sort of a high-class presentation, then just keep on looking because you're not going to appreciate the simple beauty of Tickle Pickle. I think there's something to be said about a no-frills neighborhood spot that's serving damn good burgers ... and this place is definitely doing it right. We'll absolutely be back soon for another burger.

Jim M.

Yelp
This is a very unique place. Names for the menu items are very clever. Everything we had was very good. The crowd was evidence of that. The service was excellent. It took a long time to get our order, so don't be in a hurry. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Lisa O.

Yelp
It was like it was an effort to be in business that day. Could of been a one time situation but since it was our first time - we're good. Not going back

Stephen C.

Yelp
This is now my go-to burger joint! Highly recommend! Vegan options too! Buns and Roses!

Katie M.

Yelp
Burgers were tasty and different. Each one is named after a song or musician. The shakes were really good. Place is small but our burgers came out quickly.

Krysha M.

Yelp
Once again, the Yelp gods smiled upon me as we found this place while on a road trip down south from Indy. Tickle Pickle is located in the CUTEST little neighborhood and the inside is so fun and clean. The menu is written on the chalkboard walls and in various places to the right of and even behind the register/ordering counter (shakes are behind). I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars, as this place certainly deserves them. From the creative use of band/music/musician names and themes on the menu to providing options to accommodate folks with differing dietary needs, I was so excited to try everything I could. I opted for the Buns-N-Roses vegan sandwich (sans Cashew Cheese but would try it next time) and was SO HAPPY with my selection. The house made black bean patty goodness was grilled to perfection - and you could actually taste that it had been grilled! NOMS. I also got a ton of sides and the hubs got a vegan milkshake - the Goobie Brothers. WAY too much food for me to devour in one setting, so I took a few of them for the cooler to enjoy later. Everything was prepped to perfection and was so tasty. I would also be remiss to not mention that the lovely Andrew made the experience extra enjoyable for us - making suggestions and dealing with our indecisiveness. Thank you, Andrew! We will TOTALLY come back when visiting the area again!

Scott N.

Yelp
Delivery from Tickle Pickle: My sandwich, the Slaytar, was good. The fries were good. The Goetta Van Fleet didn't travel well. It sounded SO good, but not so much. Maybe super fresh, hot and the only dish you're eating. I ordered Mark the ROB ZOMWICH BEEF, PRETZEL BUN, CHEDDAR CHEESE, SPICY KETCHUP, HOT SAUCE, JALAPENO POPPER, GRILLED PEPPERS N ONIONS, BANANA PEPPERS. Thought he'd like the heat. He said it was too hot! Overall, pretty a-okay.

Jeff B.

Yelp
First time here and there were burger choices that I'll be back to try. I had the Slaytar and it was very good. Served with Grippos BBQ chips. Service was friendly and prompt. Cool atmosphere. One review said the parking was difficult. I didn't experience since I had lunch there on a Friday, but I can understand that may be a problem during busier hours. Don't let that keep you from trying this place, it's worth it.

Joseph G.

Yelp
Very fun and Clever burger joint. We are on a weekend get a way traveling from Louisville to Detroit and was crossing through the cincy area during supper time. If I'm being honest The funny name is what really reeled me in. Outside of having a fun name, they also have really cool artistic wall art, tables and hilariously fun menu item names. It took me a few minutes to even look at what I wanted to eat because I was having fun reading the menu. There is no private parking lot and it's a busy commercial downtown type setup so you have to street park. We arrived at just before 7pm on a Friday night and the meters were free. So that was nice. Upon walking to front door we first hit an entrance for the patio where you enter through a sketchy looking alley. We opted for door #2 aka the main establishment entrance. It was seat yourself and they didn't have a very big inside so that's probably why they use a patio as well. You sit at the table and scan a barcode that brings up the menu and you choose what you want from that link and pay and it sends order to front desk with your table number. The food did take quite A bit of time to come out. Which was surprising because there wasn't many people there. I personally ordered the "Meatallica" burger which was a burger with an egg with cheese and Mayo. It was very tasty. The egg and Mayo was a great touch. The burger was dry in some spots but overall very tasty. My wife got the Big Mac Miller burger and she liked it a whole lot. She hated her side of Cole slaw though. My oldest daughter got a "Rob Zomwich" sandwich which had all kinds of sloppy toppings on it. She liked it and said it was very good. My other two daughters got kids meals. One got a "snoop hot dog" and the other a "Melton John jr grilled cheese". Finally The one year old daughter got the "fleet wood Mac and cheese". Yeah I told you these names were great. Really appealing to my bad pun/dad joke humor. The service here seemed lacking. No interaction. They dropped our food off in paper sacks you would use for a school lunch. They stacked my burger upside down so the inners fell out in the bag and I was left holding just a bun. They evidently closed at 8pm and at 745 we was told to pretty much wrap it up because they was closing soon. Which if they got our food out quicker we probably would have been out well before 745. Overall cool place, fun vibe and good food. Bad service on this visit kept them from getting the 5 star here. The workers were younger and like most young people didn't want to work a Friday night and it showed.

Carl W.

Yelp
I try to support local restaurants and I try to be generous in my Yelp reviews. Screw-ups happen - it's how you respond that matters. We went here Friday night. It wasn't too busy when we got there around 6 or so - we had the patio mostly to ourselves. But it took 45 minutes to get our burgers. 45 minutes. Wife's veggie burger was mush. Mine was fine but I was about to go ask for our money back when it arrived. There was no attempt to make up for it - no partial refund, not even a free French fry. When I gave them a frowny face review on the receipt they said 'I'm sorry for the long delay but it's burger week and this is just how it is on this week every year.' Basically just a ‍. That will be our last trip there.

Cj S.

Yelp
Burger was amazing. Fries are top notch. Understaffed. Workers were kind but overwhelmed. Parking to get there is not fun. But definitely worth a trip if in the area already.

David K.

Yelp
We wanted a low key meal out with our 7yr old daughter and had been wanting to try Tickle Pickle. We chose the Ky location and really liked the atmosphere. Although they were super busy on a Saturday night the staff was all super friendly and service was great. We started out with some cheese curds and beers which were fantastic. I had the Hamstein and Wiffee had the Pearl Jam. Both of which were excellent. The munchkin enjoyed the Melton John. The combo of good music/atmosphere, good service, and good food make it a winner.

Tatianna S.

Yelp
I think this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I was not impressed with the Tickle Pickle. Was it bad? No! I ate the whole thing! But is it somewhere I'm going to seek out? Nope. To me, it taste like a fast food burger, like five guys. They do have some funky toppings if you're into that, but I love a classic cheeseburger. I've been trying to find a good burger here in Cincy coming from Columbus and both here and Zips aren't making my list. Basic burger, decent price, alright place. The decor is cute, but mostly carry out orders happening. On to the next place to find my favorite burger here!

Tyler J.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my lunch! Service was great. The brew house that's connected to it is amazing too! Great beer. There are a few games set out and tons of seating. The ambiance is amazing.

Robert G.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place, and in fact was expecting it from the high reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day there. I had a pretty bad experience. From the start, the dude at the counter was rude and aggressive with the point of sale computer, almost like he was having a really bad day and was taking it out on it. It wasn't a pleasant experience. We ordered two Rob Zomwich burgers. We waited for over 35 minutes. That wasn't a huge deal, but it did suck. Once we got our food, it was bad. Barely warm meat, not fresh. Cheese completely un-melted. At a burger restaurant. What?? I only ate as much as I did because when I first stepped foot into the place, I was starving. So after 35 minutes, I was STARVING. Ambience was loud old rock music. A 50/50 for me, it was whatever. But it made me feel kinda weird as we were waiting for so long. Just disappointing. It should be good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else. Five guys is SO much better. Miles.

carly g.

Yelp
everything was delicious! I got the slaytar without tomatoes and bacon and loved it. Service was excellent and fast and they have a patio which was cute.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Interesting burger place. It has dangerously good milkshakes and decent burgers. Also has a good atmosphere to it with nice if limited seating..

Alicia L.

Yelp
We just waited about 30 minutes for our three burgers. People were cancelling orders as it was taking so long. My daughters juice never came and it was very hard to get to the poor guy working the counter. Maybe staff shortage issues. But this was seriously the worst burger I've ever had. I did the hot chili peppers burger and it only tasted like the ketchup that was seriously all over me as I tried to eat. Messy. Meat was tasteless. Or perhaps just couldn't get past ketchup overdose. Husband had the Pearl Jam and it only tasted like the jam. Also very messy. They reported the kitchen was backed up. But honestly, I feel very bummed we went there. We are from out of town and it was huge let down.

Stacy D.

Yelp
We are vegan....I had the Pearl Jam sub portobello mushroom and cashew cheese. It was AMAZING. Their fries are also fantastic. My son had the black bean burger and honestly it was very dry and not super fantastic. The vegan dogs are also amazing. The vegan milkshakes have too much cream in them. They stay smooth and thick but not cold and not very flavorful. Drinking a warm thick milkshake is kinda weird. Cool little dive though.

Kala M.

Yelp
We were in the area and wanted to try something new. This place is definitely a vibe. It's got cool names for all menu items and the decor is very unique. The workers and the service was mediocre. While the food was tasty my order was wrong. The fries are great. The Mac and cheese was cold. My burger order was wrong but I think if it had been the right order it would've been way better. The milkshake was a disappointing experience. It was more like a Yoo-hoo verses an actual shake. I don't think we would go back but a very cool place to visit at least once.

Kali K.

Yelp
This spot in Northside is a burger joint haven. The design of the restaurant is funky and the menu items were that of a new-age Steak n Shake (burgers and milkshakes). *There were item options for people with food sensitivities as well. I got one of the spicy jalapeno burgers, and it definitely surprised me. The jalapenos were fresh and spicy, (the boys who got the leftovers thought I was joking when I said it was hot, they got a rough surprise), and the chocolate brownie milkshake was the PERFECT addition to my 4th of July, end of a long, sunny day. I'd love to try the breakfast burger the next time I'm here, and there will be a next time.. Guaranteed.

Cera W.

Yelp
Great food! fun environment. Service was top notch. We'll definitely be back when we come to Cincinnati again.

Wendi S.

Yelp
no one there to take our order when we arrived then waited too long for an over cooked, overpriced burger. Wendy's would have been a better value and experience. VERY disappointing

Lauren B.

Yelp
Fairly average tasting food, although the portions are larger than other burger joints. They try to be different and offer unusual combinations, which can be interesting but not always the best choice. Since you have to get your own drink, find a table and bus the table yourself, I'd say the service is minimal. Prices are on the average side for most things. Still better than any fast food restaurant. A big plus- it's in Northside, the hippest community in Cincinnati.

Greg K.

Yelp
The restaurant was filthy and the food was gross. The dining area was beat up and dirty. I was hesitant to touch the table and chair. All food was slathered in mayonnaise and caused indigestion. The side items were greasy and the shake tasted worse than a McDonald's shake. The bag of Grippos BBQ chips were relatively safe to eat.

Scott F.

Yelp
Great food. Nice atmosphere with great service. Theme named burgers. Friendly staff Great food. Nice atmosphere with great service. Theme named burgers. Friendly staff

Chris M.

Yelp
This spot was more then just "Another Brick in the Wall!" The food was absolutely fantastic and made with a "Whole Lotta Love." I came with a large group, the restaurant had plenty of seating, and something on the menu for everyone. I "Turn the Page" with the Meatallica burger: bacon, fried egg, and goetta. The burger was juicy, full of flavor, and my taste buds were "Free Fallin." The jalapeño poppers were jalapeños cut in half with a creamy cheese center melted into it. One bite will have you bursting off like a "Rocket Man." The atmosphere had a fun unconventional theme to it. Overall, I recommend you "Walk This Way" to Tickle Pickle Northside and grab some great grub. I certainly look forward to my next visit when I can bring "My Brown Eyed Girl." Lastly, I had a lot of fun writing this review! So, let the "Good Times Roll" and Rock on!

Elyse F.

Yelp
We had not set out to dine at Tickle Pickle. We were on our way to another restaurant in the area, and saw their sign. Being short on time, we figured this might be the faster option, and decided to change plans. I am so glad that we went in. All the dishes are named after bands or singers. All burgers are cooked to medium, unless otherwise ordered. My husband took one bite of his burger, leaned over to me, and said "this is really good." I had yet to take a bite of mine. I took one and agreed. My order was the burger named after Tom Petty. The meat was flavorful, and jucy. Mushrooms had a sear on them, and added a ton of additional flavor. I immediately craved more once the burger was done. Kid's meals come with a side of fruit. I will say that the kid's mimi burger is very mini. I am talking single slider size. My older two were still hungry. They ended up eating my chips. Their burgers were the same quality as the adult meals. The fruit cup that comes with the kid's meal is of a generous size. The Fleetwood Mac & Cheese is house made. That portion is a little more generous than the mini burger. Tickle Pickle is very environmentally conscious. There is a separate bin for recycling and trash. Napkins are made from recycled paper. The container that the kids mac and cheese comes in is compostable. The people working there were all kind. We received a very appreciative thank you are we left.

Lily A.

Yelp
Great burgers. Service was quick and loved the vibes. Good place to stop on a long tip home. 4 stars just because my vegan burger, Buns and Roses, didn't seem to be warm the shoe was through. Not enough to ruin the great experience however.

Karolyn B.

Yelp
HORRIBLE execution. Soggy burgers. Wendy's style meat. Over cooked. GROSS.

Ben T.

Yelp
I have wanted to try this place for a long, long time and finally took the plunge on a busy Monday evening. Tickle Pickle, from the outside, is a regular Northside storefront. On the inside, however, is a clean, laid back, creative environment. The menu items were displayed on a blackboard using colored chalk. Each item was loosely named after a singer, musician or band, which I enjoyed. Thankfully, I had called in my order ahead of time, because they were packed. I ordered 3 of the " Nom Petty", which is a mushroom and swiss burger. The man behind the counter was friendly and payment was easy. I waited until my food was ready and was on my way. My family and I thought the "Nom Petty" was pretty good...but it seemed like something was missing. The mushrooms may benefit from a little seasoning, such as salt and pepper. Otherwise, a good burger was had by all. I will be stopping by to try their other burgers and hope they continue to be creative. Please try this place for yourself, it's worth it!

Yelp
This was so bad that it became hilarious. The burgers were a couple of dry hockey pucks. They forgot to bring us one of the items that we ordered, and the guy working the register went on break with no one to replace him. Customers kept lining up with no one to take their orders. At least we had ordered before that happened.

Yelp
A few days ago, I decided to take someone to this Restaurant bc I had eaten there before & liked the Food. The downside was that the Prices on the Wall Chalk Board did not "Match" what was on my Receipt which were much Higher & some of the Food Choices were not available but they were when we received our Food & other Food Choices that were unavailable were not listed. I was disappointed they did not tell me or offer me anything else. It seems like the Staff is not on the Same Page with being consistent in what is going on. Also, they should think about where the Customer Line should form. Who wants to be sitting at a Table eating & someone is standing right by your Food. Hopefully, they can work on the Line Formation & keeping everyone in the Loop & keep the Chalkboard update. BTW: The Hammerstein Burger & Fries were so good!
