"Now run by the third generation, this simple shop prides itself on its double-boiled silkie chicken soup, which it has been making the same way since it opened in 1948. The flavoursome clear broth is MSG-free, with mild aromas of Chinese herbs. Another must-try is their steamed rice bowl with beef, chicken or Cantonese preserved pork sausage. Seafood cooked in various ways is also popular. Check with the owner for recommendations." - Michelin Inspector

Central location, THE BEST food! Anything with sweet and sour sauce and pickle mustard green are a must try, serious do not miss out the tastiness of those dishes. The soup of the day are always good, we should all listen to the staff's recommendations. The location is great. Right at the heart of Saigon and after the meal, there are plenty of coffee shops and malls nearby (walking distance).

We had a great experience here! The service was absolutely incredible! The owners and staff brought our daughter as much fruit as she could eat, plus some to take home! We ordered the Cantanese chicken which had a mushroom sauce that was excellent! Chicken and broccoli, which had more cauliflower than broccoli but the flavor was so good! The chicken in this dish did have more bones, but some Vietnamese do like bones and do not waste any parts of yhe chicken! It's just not our preference. The fried rice was excellent 😋 The price for it all cost us about $10 USD We review michelin recommended resturaunts as well as others with our honest opinions on pur youtube channel "The Trippin' Family" as well as get into more depth on the cost, flavors and what go order!

It's very old Chinese restaurant. After I visited, I found that this shop was selected as michelin bib gourmand. Nh...I had chicken soup, because some people were saying it's their signature one. The chicken inside was very tender and soup was not bad. Also had clay pot rice with chicken and also beef and Chinese sausage. Those were very small, but tastes good. Then I got one vegetable plate, and also kinda small. Nh... the value for the price was not good for me. It was good but I didn't get the point why this shop was selected by Michelin. Anyway I thought it was expensive as local food, but if it was selected by Michelin, then may be OK to visit. Of course, as food, it's not expensive, but as local restaurant in Vietnam, it is a bit. Probably good to try here if you have the same tang with the one from Michelin Lol.

[Review of a Chinese Restaurant] I visited this restaurant about four years ago and was quite impressed with the delicious and authentic food. However, my recent visit was disappointing. The quality of the dishes has noticeably declined, and the flavors are no longer as rich as they used to be. The prices remain quite high compared to similar places, but the current quality doesn’t justify the cost. Additionally, the restaurant charges a parking fee of 10,000 VND per vehicle, so be aware of that before you visit. If you’re looking for a quality Chinese dining experience, you might want to consider other options.

Cantonese descendants lived in Vietnam that opened this restaurant. The taste is blended into Vietnamese style little bit. However is ok different style. Just bit too much starch on the pork n soups normally is better to boiled away chicken bloods one round b4 double boil soup. It is good idea to revamp bit the restaurant and to avoid having dogs inside running around as there is some strong uneasy smell make us not so comfortable during the whole dinner. luckily the speed of serving is super fast I guess just heat up only. Others are good service n price is reasonable.

A Michelin-recommended restaurant! It has an old-school atmosphere, located inside a wet market and run by several elderly staff. We ordered their famous rice dish, but it was extremely salty! The pork kidneys were recommended—they weren’t gamey, thickly sliced, and had a nice crunchy texture. Overall, the flavors were strong, with lots of MSG, leaving our mouths dry and numb afterward. Worth trying once, but I wouldn’t return!

The food is good and the portion are generous but compared to other similar places is below average, especially for a Michelin rated place. Paid 110.000 VND for seafood with fried rice and a drink that should have been coconut jelly but probably the lady did not understand what I asked for.

I was not hungry, so I took a beef rice with sausage. The beef was good, tender. Tasty dish overall. But portion is very small, at least what I chose.
