We came here to this location because the one near us never have pastry but unfortunately this location is out from my list due to the pastry( it doesn’t have any flavor, almond croissant 🥐 is just a plain butter, guava danish it has a dash of color jelly 😢let’s keep searching for a decent place now 🤷‍♀️

They have decent cappuccino. It is not the best in the world, but it is waaay better than Starbucks or Coffee bean cappucino. Small size, tho. Service is fine. There is nothing special here. The interior is pretty generic but nice. Again, it's better than Starbucks. It's cheaper than Starbucks. Overall: Nice chain coffee place. As it should be. Four out of five.

I dont usually go to this location. I probably have gone about a handful of times. My usual go to's are with family to their Montebello/ City Terrace locations. I love Tierra Mia! But, the times I have gone to their Broadway location, the service is just strange. Today, that was highlighted! I ordered two cold brews, the cashier asked me if I wanted the cream blend or the cold brew, I said both cold brew. She seemed dismissive and talked to other customers or coworkers when taking my order. When my name was called, they were both the cream blends. I politely told the barista they were not supposed to be the blended but the cold brew. The barista took the drinks behind the bar, and seemed annoyed. I get it, I have worked customer service before and have had tough mornings. But, the attitude given was not okay. She made the drinks, called my name and told her coworker to give the drinks to anyone who would want them while looking annoyed. Im sorry, but I was not the one who got the drink order wrong, so the attitude was not needed. It made me upset and uncomfortable to receive this interaction. We all have bad days, but this location being consistently rude is not ok. AND I hate that most of the time its the girls! Hopefully it was just a bad day.

I placed an online order at 5:25 AM not knowing they open at 5:30. I arrive at 5:32 three people are in line in front of me. They pleased their order. Basically everyone got their coffee before I got my coffee when I placed the order before, this establishment was even open, the girl that served me was super rude. She had dark hair ponytail, people that don’t like to wake up early should not be working at a coffee shop early in the morning. There are plenty other coffee shops with better attitudes to give my money to.

TMC is a specialty coffee retailer and roaster that operates thirteen locations across CA where majority of their stores are in Southern California. Similarly, they offer baked pastries. This location is off the 5 fwy and broadway. I have tried most coffee shops but never had the opportunity to try Tierra Mia. It’s indoor was huge and very spacious with lots of natural light. Furthermore, it’s very clean, neat and organized. Interior decor and lighting fixtures were modern and cool. Staff were very welcoming and assiduous. I ordered a medium size iced coffee and chocolate croissant. To my surprise their cold brew coffee with milk was incredibly good and it definitely effaced my preconceived notion about Tierra Mia. In my humble opinion, it’s definitely one or two levels up from other coffee shops. The chocolate croissant was warm, fluffy and soft on the inside. There was no line when I came in the morning but got busy around after I left. Prices were fair and competitive. Parking lot ( w/ shade) was large and spacious. Outdoor patio seats are available. Overall, I had a good order experience and phenomenal drink and food. Therefore, I highly recommend this coffee shop.

Very luxurious coffee joint. They should have installed a drive thru! But then again they do take the sweet time to make the drinks which is actually a good thing and makes their drinks superior to starbucks. The spacious interior makes you feel welcomed with good seating arrangements. The outdoor seating is very nice. Good varierty of drinks.Overall it could be cleaner. I would give 5 stars if it were cleaner and kept up with technology. It's not 2015 anymore we want to order our drinks quickly and with minimal interaction. Maybe design a customer friendly application for our coffee needs.

great vibes all around ! yummy and unique drinks -Their matcha horchata is so delish and you can taste the matcha and horchata in every sip and it works very well. Also tried their chai: It's just a tea bag chai and the first sips are dilute but it tastes better the longer it steeps (I had to wait 1.5 hours before I started enjoying the flavor) Had a large display of baked goods that also seemed great but I didn't try anything they have their own parking lot (it says 1 hour limit but I think people who are enjoying their drinks can stay longer) and free wifi. There are outlets but not that many. Nice study vibes

Fellow food service worker so I feel like I can say I get the business and say how the service wasn't adequate. Went in for a frappe today at around 2:45. Waited about 15 minutes seeing about 10 people leave (3 or 4 of which ordered after me), and still hadn't received my drink. Went up to ask about it, and the guy behind the bar recalled on the order screen, saw someone had bumped mine already, but it wasn't made. He then made my drink. But when I got it I didn't even receive a full size and he also wasn't at all apologetic about it either. Just told me "here you go." Soured my experience, and probably won't be back. From working in food service for almost a decade, I know he wasn't at all busy enough to not say sorry for the wait. Definitely not saying he was the one who skipped my drink, but again to not even sorry was the nail in the coffin for me. The lady who helped me in the front was super nice though and gave a kind smile! At least the AC was on LMAO

There's a parking lot, basic seating and an outdoor patio. The coffee was pretty bad though. It lacked richness. The pistachio latte (5.50) was not drinkable so I swapped it for a classic vanilla iced latte. The winner here is the Tres Leches Muffin (3.75). Perfectly wet and delicious. It's a unique muffin that's worth a try! Love the innovation. Can't wait to try the churro muffin.

Tierra Mia's coffee is pretty good, very busy at this location, decent parking! It was my first time trying it and the coffee is good but wish sizes were bigger for its price. Other than that, still a good place to drop by to even study as they have lots of space inside

Online order, good coffee, however.. Price even more expensive than Starbucks. Convenience fee added + mandatory tip. Let's just say this is the last time I order online.

I came at 8:02 on Thursday July 10 and the lady with a pink tank top and reddish hair who attended us had an attitude. She gave me the wrong order and seem like she didn't wanna be there anymore and wasn't paying attention to my modifications. When I asked for my drink to be remade she made a comment to a male co-workers "she's FUCKEN annoying " Mistakes happen but she didn't have to be rude or make a rude comment.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! First time at this location & was not disappointed at all. Was able to find parking immediately. Went on Saturday May 18 Arrived at 4:35pm. My dog was with me and had no issues having her inside and even got her a water. I ordered a small Salted Carmel Latte which was so good. Perfect blend not too sweet nor bitter just right. Inside and outside are very clean & nice. Service was quick & thank you baristas!

First time trying Tierra Mia and I have to come back for a redo. I liked my drinks but I didn't love them. I gotta try other menu items to see if maybe I missed the mark. I got the iced horchata cold brew with less sweeter and the iced salted Carmel coffee with less sugar. Both were okay, nothing exceptionally exciting to make me want to order it again. There's an attached parking lot which was great considering LA street parking is always difficult. The staff were super friendly and the inside was well cleaned and maintained. I definitely will be back to try other items to hopefully meet the hype I was looking for.

One of my favorite coffee spots for meetings. Latino owned coffee chain with great signature frappes and pastries! This location is very large and also their headquarters. My favorite drink is the Rice & Beans Frappe-- made with a coffee base, distinct sweetened rice milk (horchata) flavor, a little bit of chocolate and ground espresso beans. Garnished with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon. It is really good-- I love it! The crunchiness of the ground espresso beans adds such great flavor and texture to this drink. Service is good, ambience is quiet and relaxing with a bright interior. We usually come during the day-- seating is plentiful and they have a dedicated parking lot, conveniently located right off the 5 freeway. On this particular day, we came at 6 pm and it was really crowded. I was worried that we might not be able to find seating, but luckily we got a table and all worked out well. JJ got hot tea, and sometimes we get a pastry, which are all very good. Highly recommended!

Gotta say... Strawberries and Cream was so delicious... the flavors were melting on my tongue! Thank you to the Barista Mary or Mari? They were very professional and kind! Helped me and assisted me on a drink i'll keep coming back to get!

Like the different flavored drinks and non caffeinated drink options too. The baked goods are tasty too. Pretty pricey though, 3 small drinks was about $13 and a bag of beans $13. Then tip. So about $30.

I look forward to grabbing a hot latte and guava cream cheese croissant before heading into my salon appointment every four months. If I lived closer, I'd be hitting this coffee shop up on the weekly

We stopped here for a bathroom and coffee break during a road trip. Conveniently located off the interstate. Customer parking is free and limited. We drove through the lot and turned left into the alley way. Ample metered parking behind the cafe. The bathroom requires a key attached to a plastic spatula (kept at the front counter). The bathrooms are single, all gender, and in dire need of cleaning. The cafe itself is spacious, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. Hipster vibe. Well ventilated with ample natural lighting. The pistachio cream and cold brew were delicious. We also tried the blueberry muffin and chocolate croissant.

I've been coming here for a long time and never had a bad experience like today's SELENA supervisor was very rude she made my drink wrong twice and on top of it charge me twice hope the owner or general manager from this store will train her with manners because today you lost a customer because I talked to my family and friends and whenever she's is on charge they always have bad service I will never come back again to this location

I've gone to 2 or 3 other locations and the drinks are pretty consistent in flavor. I got the Horchata Frappe and tried a Dulce Almond Danish. The Dulce almond danish was good but probably would have been better if I ate it the same day but it was saved for breakfast. My bf had the Chai latte and also tried the new Pepino lemonade. Service was good, they made the drinks fast. There are seating options inside and also on the outdoor patio. They have a lot of portraits of coffee bean processing along the walls. It's nice and bright inside. The parking lot here is small and I'm not a fan of the side with the column supports that break off every two parking spaces.

Love Tierra Mia! Their coffee and pastries are the best! Lots of options to choose from. Keep in mind what time you go because most likely the pastries sell out towards the end. Parking is good. Great space to work and do homework! Unfortunately some of the workers aren't the nicest. But I still come a good amount because I really enjoy their coffee and pastries :)

My second time here the first time I got a mocha, but didn't love it. Had to come back and try another coffee, got the rice and beans frappe and it is soooo good!! Also the banana nut muffin is so good!

We stopped here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed their matcha. My wife ordered hers hot and mine was iced. Both ways tasted great and were made with ceremonial grade matcha. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. If you have a question about their menu, they take their time to answer. Next time we'll try some of their horchata and coconut flavored drinks as they seemed quite popular and looked delicious. Thank you!

This coffee shop is located in the middle of downtown Los Angeles, and it looks huge from the outside. The decoration is very modern. They have a private parking lot. Line was short when we got here. We ordered lavender frappe, and mocha Mexicano. The lavender frappe was tasty with a little scent of lavender. It will be better if they can add a bit more lavender taste or scent to the drink. Mocha Mexicano was not good. There was too much ice that the drink was watery. The texture of the drink was "sandy" that I was not sure if those were spice or sugar. I will probably pick another drink if am coming back.

10/10 told the barista dude to surprise me w something w cinnamon. Don't know what it was, didn't bother to ask cause it hella packed. shit came out fuckn fire tho ngl, would come back. Vibes were chill.

Came in for coffee on Sunday morning coffee and the service was so quick! We ordered an iced horchata latte and an iced coco loco latte (our favorites). Only thing I've noticed is that indoor seating is limited since everyone loves their coffee and it's such a nice place to study or catch up with a friend. But when the weather is nice the patio area is cute too!

I have been to most of all the Tierra Mia Coffee shops and the most by far that has the most respectful professionalism. Is this one on Broadway in Lincoln Heights I like to give everyone that works at this shop all my appreciation for always getting my coffee the right way.

The horchata iced latte always has my heart! This time I wanted to try the horchata cold brew but it was a bit disappointing. It looked like it was premade with creamer & all. Also tried a tres leches vanilla muffin and a tres leches chocolate muffin. These both literally tasted like boxed cake mix. There was no tres leches flavor in either and they weren't moist like tres leches. Next time I'll stick to the horchata iced latte. Their service was great, they checked up to see we had an everything we ordered. They get an extra star for service and ambiance as it is a cute & quiet place to study or do work.

I'm surprised to see this Tierra Mia has just average reviews! I've been to a few locations and this one has easily become my favorite for a couple reasons: plentiful parking and plentiful seating. My coffee is always ready quickly and this location tends to be fairly quiet on the weekends which makes it a great spot to hunker down and get work done for a few hours. I've tried their horchata latte, horchata cold brew, and pistachio cold brew and I love them all. My favorite treat here though is the tres leches muffin - so sweet and tasty! My only issue is the WiFi can be pretty spotty. I've been able to get by on my hotspot when it fails to connect but it would be great if it was a little more reliable.

Went to Tierra Mia for the first time. We ordered a Horchata Latte (apparently the most popular drink on the menu), a Tres Leches Muffin, and a chocolate croissant. Upon walking up to the storefront, we immediately found the aesthetics of the place to be beautiful, calm and minimalist. However, the space felt awkwardly large with a lot of empty space and some missing items (i.e. the staff let us know that they didn't have utensils). The atmosphere certainly has the potential to be very cozy and peaceful, but the service interfered with the whole experience. The woman at the register did not appear interested in answering our questions or taking our orders. When asked about the content of each drink, she gave two word answers that did not offer a proper description. The staff seemed slightly distracted from their job -- they were huddled in a group engaging in conversation (or standing around idly), pushing out drinks disinterestedly. When our drink was finally prepared, it wasn't called out. We had to ask the male worker there TWICE if this was our drink and he had no idea how to answer or how to proceed with figuring out the answer. In terms of food quality, the CHOCOLATE CROISSANT was pretty good -- it was warm, fluffy, with a perfect balance of croissant to chocolate ratio. I loved the size of it. The HORCHATA LATTE was average -- we ordered it with less sweetness to balance the sweetness of our bakery items, but you can definitely still taste the flavor. It was creamy and had a prominent cinnamon flavor, which I did enjoy, but it did not leave a lasting impression. As for the TRES LECHES MUFFIN, it was phenomenal. A little difficult to eat without a utensil (and a locked bathroom, making it difficult to wash your hands) and I highly recommend heating it up, but overall, it was one of the best muffins I've had. Moist, creamy, gooey, delicious. If it wasn't for the awful service and the neglected space, I would have given this place 4 stars.

Step aside, Starbucks! J/k! Haha. Tierra Mia Coffee houses are popping up everywhere. Usually at a predominantly Latin community. This location in Lincoln Heights is probably the nicest compared to the other local locations. Parking is in abundance, and you'll walk into a huge bakery-like store. But yes, they're like a Starbucks serving coffee, latte, baked muffins, and some pastries. I usually order their Horchata Lattes and their Mocha Lattes. They also have a Spanish chocolate latte, which is okay. There's a cinnamon taste in it, but not as chocolate as I hope it to be. Their mocha is comparable to both Starbucks and Coffee Bean franchises. But, I'm there for the Horchata Latte. It's delicious with the Horchata taste mixed with coffee and milk. You may add an additional espressso shot to the lattes for a bolder coffee taste. The baristas are usually pretty quick to take your order, which they are not always that busy when I go. I like Tierra Mia and will definitely be back here or at another location. This location used to be Phoenix Bakery Headquarters. That's probably the reason this location is huge.

I have always passes by this place in a different location and never got to try it until today. When I came here the cashier was done and can only order online through their website. It was pretty easy and quick. I asked the workers which was better or more popular between the horchata or the dulce de leche. They said horchata is their number one and dulce de leche is their second. One is cinnamon and other is caramel. I opted for the caramel, dulce de leche frapp. And wow it is delicious! It is so much better than starbucks or coffee bean. The frapp is very smooth and no ice chunks, which is so nice to drink. I would definitely would come back more often if it was closer!

I completely failed to say Hot vs a cold drink on my order. The guys working tonight (2/26) were very kind and friendly. Usually Starbucks would roll their eyes but not here! The hot chocolate was the best ! Thank you for such great service and delicious drink !

One of best places to go for coffee in LA. Consistent and always fresh. You can never go wrong with a horchata or vanilla latte. Thing that's weird is you can only order drinks online, no food. So you have to actually order in person if you want food lol.

Came to this new location over the weekend before running some errands. It's right off the freeway which is great for easy access. There's a parking lot with 15 minute time limits, so I'm sure this is great (if enforced) during peak rush hour before work. The lady who helped me and my fiancé out was really friendly. We ordered a hot caramel macchiato, iced honey vanilla tea latte, strawberry tres leches muffin and churro muffin. My caramel macchiato was delicious and the churro muffin is now a new favorite with it being just the right amount of sweetness. My fiancés honey tea latte was super sweet but will continue to be a fan favorite of ours. We were able to try their seasonal strawberry tres leches muffin. My fiancé loved it but it was a little too moist for me liking, but the flavor was on point. Cleanliness, speed of service, quality and friendliness are all there with their staff. Only downside is that their one napkin container was empty and they didn't restock in the entire time we sat down to enjoy our drinks and muffins. Other than that, this location is great and I'll be returning!

Went here for the first time today after driving past it hundreds of times. Glad I did! The shop is fairly large, with a big display of pastries, a pretty big coffee menu, and. Good amount of seats. I ordered the horchata latte and it was SO GOOD. I was actually a bit shocked -- it was honestly the best horchata latte I've ever had! Not overly sweet, a hint of nuttiness and perfectly balanced. The parking lot was a good size and almost all the spots were shaded. The staff are all incredibly nice. Will be back!

Favorite place for Latin-American influenced coffee and pastries. Free parking in a pretty large lot, which is super convenient for DTLA. I am obsessed with their Tres Leches muffins, either the chocolate or the regular. Haven't had anything like it! As for drinks, I either do the Mexican mocha or the horchata latte if I'm craving something sweeter. Either hot, or ice/frappe is excellent. I love coming here and it always puts me in my happy place :)

This is absolutely the best place to go. After years of coming, I find out it's owned by a HS classmate! The Cafecito is amazing! Starbucks has nothing on Thai place except more locations! The strawberry tree leches muffin in the absolute best thing I've had there. Stop sleeping on this place and go go go! Don't let the crowded drive thru turn you around!!! The service is fairly quick and it's worth the short wait.

It's a good spot to just have a pastry with a decent cup of coffee. The muffins are moist and croissants aren't super flaky but they're not soggy like Starbucks

Don't come here if you have a dairy allergy- they can't make most of the drinks you may want because apparently the bases are all made with whole milk. I wanted a dulce de leche latte and they could not make it for me with non-dairy options. Had to opt for a chai latte which ended up tasting horrible anyways. Unfortunately, gonna have to stick to other places for my non-dairy options.

My 1st time here, I will come back again when in the area. Parking lot spaces kept opening, While sitting outside I didnt see anyone come in and not get a space. I enjoy Urth Cafe's Spanish Latte, but parking is impossible at their DTLA location so I came here. About 3/4 in afternoon, so only a few pastries left. Tried TMC's Cubano Latte, learned the difference is Urth replaces 2/3 of milk with condensed milk. Here they use half/half and add raw sugar. Clean, lots of tables inside and outside. Staff is very nice. Bathrooms take a key, also clean. Some here commented high priced, I think comparable $ to Coffee Bean plus more staff working than most coffee shops.

Over priced culture! I had their coffee years ago. Wasn't impressed. I do t k is why people fluent there or any of their locations. Whatever right? I was in the area. I usually stick to other spots for coffee. But I stopped in to see if they had anything new or if anything changed. Nope! Still over charging for basic coffee. They just slap a "Mexican" name on it and charge $8 lol I'm good. I like supporting local but they made it really hard for me to come back. This is why I go to other places for coffee. 9am on a weekday and they only had one inexperienced worker at the register. Slooooooowwww. Parking is terrible because it's literally next to a freeway. So all kind of red flags her. Call the ref! Not coming back to any of their locations. Panera bread, here I come!

I'm not one to post much or complain but 35 minutes for 2 medium drinks. Then get told oh someone might have taken it since we called out the name....when 15 minutes before I asked him if they had called our name. He looked up at me and said No. Never again taking my money elsewhere

I came on April 14 around 11am and order a salted caramel ice coffee. The coffee came out too creamy and not enough coffee, they wanted to charge an extra dollar if I wanted my coffee stronger they kept telling me if I wanted an extra shot of espresso it would be a $1 they don't make their coffee fresh and are pre made as what she told me. It was watery and gross and had bits or white stuff. Disappointing. The barista was a girl either black hair and glasses and gold plated necklaces and gave me such an attitude when I asked to fix my coffee. Gross employee.
