Tierra Mia Coffee

Order a Chai tea drink with Almond Milk instead of regular and it’s delicious but not worth 6$ for a small drink. I wish Tierra Mia had their calories displayed. It would help us out specially for people who are on a calorie deficit.. Also the parking is really small and it’s next to a busy street and gas station :(

Coffee is amazing, I had a regular coffee and a Mexican Mocha and I was blown away. Im a Pete's fan and this is as good. No seating inside which was disappointing.

Only thing is that I didn’t like is how there is no where to sit but other than that the employees are friendly and your order comes out quick

Big lobby no chair no table. Not welcoming environment when there is no where to seat . Not even to wait for the coffee. Sometimes coffee is good sometime is not prep right.

No drive thru. Really bad parking spaces and VERY limited. They do not have any kind of seating inside or outside. 0 chairs or tables. So when you’re waiting for your order ( which there can be a long line and a long wait time) there’s no place for you to sit. Or if you come with friends or family, you cannot sit down and enjoy your drinks. Drinks are okay. Food is also okay, they do run out of stock of their most popular items.

Tierra Mia has amazing coffee options as well as blended beverages from the smallest member of your family to the oldest. Our favorite beverage are so far the Horchata Cream and the Mazapan Cream (which is without coffee. You can also order it as a Frappe which has coffee). They also have a small but delicious variety of muffins. We recommend this coffee shop 100%.

It's very funny that I deliberately decided to write a review, just now. I've been a customer here for quite some time. I spent the other half of my life (I'm 30 now, lol) being an active customer for a great while. Although some people come and go, likewise with the former employees who move on to other things in life. I'm positive that the only consistent thing is great service and quality beverages given to the customers, altogether.

Honestly the girls like talking more than taking care of their customers . There slow at giving orders. I like this one girl only sweetheart.

Been her a couple times for coffee only. The horchata iced coffee is good and toward the end it you can see the cinnamon and rice powder. This is however, extremely sweet. And I mean, get the insulin ready sweet. Definitely will ask for half the sweetness next. The staff is very nice and they have a 4-5 car parking on he side so it's convenient in the mornings.

Order an Horchata Frappe, you will thank me later. This is my go to location, they don't have a drive thru but the staff is always friendly and quick with the order, the only downside is their parking lot situation, they only have 5 parking spots available, so if you stop by on a busy day you'll have to park at the Jack in the Box parking lot.

I would recommend their tres leches strawberry muffin. It's moist and perfectly layered. The cubano con leche was too sweet & sugary for my liking. The is very friendly. Unfortunately there's no seating here, so you can only grab and go.

First time experience was what I would expect from a coffee shop friendly and fast service considering I was there at 6:30am on a Tuesday morning. Parking is very limited but the place is clean, lovely and big

I had an incredible experience at tierra mia, and it was all thanks to Hazel! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me warmly and went above and beyond to ensure we had coffee we would enjoy. Her kindness made my visit more enjoyable. She takes pride in her work and I'll definitely be returning because of her outstanding service. The horchata lattes we ordered were hot and very lavorful. The tres leches muffin was soft and sweet, the chocolate croissant was chocolate filled and and flaky. Overall this location was great.

Your standard Tierra Mia menu, but with a to go setting. It never went back to sit down, but it works. You're able to get in and out pretty quickly. If you order online, it makes the process even quicker. I like this location, because I get to avoid the long drive thru line of the closest Tierra Mia. Must get item, The Trea Leches cupcake of course. Get it warmed up and enjoy heaven in every bite.

I popped in here on Sunday morning before grabbing a few last minute Christmas needs. Parking was a little limited but I managed to get a spot at the pancake place nearby (I don't know if that's actually allowed tbh). I get inside and there's virtually no line. Just two people waiting for their drinks and one person ordering. Everything looked SO good in the pastry case. My mom and I got a banana nut muffin, a tree leches muffin and a blueberry muffin (we were hungry) we also ordered two horchata lattes. One hot and one cold. When you compare prices and quality, you can't beat Tierra Mia. In the past, I would have easily paid around $40 plus dollars for the same amount of food and drinks at a "bigger chain" coffee place but it was a little over $20. The lattes were DELICIOUS!!!! Such good flavor. The cinnamon. The sweetness. So perfect. But the star was really the strawberry tree leches muffin. So unique. Really recommend that one. I just wish they had more locations closer to where I live but I will gladly visit when I'm in the area. The staff was also super friendly so that's a major plus.

Let's be honest, you don't go to Tierra Mia for fast coffee, you go for the good authentic coffee. I have no location near me and the drive to any of their location is a bit of a hassle. This location doesn't have a drive thru so it's a bit harder. I typically wait about 10-15 min for my drink which was the same at this location. What made it a bad experience is that they made my drink incorrectly. I was bummed as that it the one thing i was looking forward to! Additionally, they didn't warm up my muffin. It was a disappointing visit.

The customer service was amazing, Francisco was excellent in answering our questions on the menu and gave a great recommendation.Kim and Gaby made sure we received the items in such an efficient manner.Overall wonderfull service ! I will remember this location and return when I can !!!

Where do I start ... Can't believe everything that gets hyped by IG. We traveled far to come and check this place out that IG made seem like it was so amazing well I was so amazingly disappointed. The young lady behind the counter looked clueless at what she was doing which made our wait in line even longer. Once what looked like to be the owner clocked in to help this young lady the line started to move and the orders started to flow. It was sad to see that the owner had to literally get her face in front of her employee to tell her to communicate.., Food was mid but the coffee was good but not great enough to make the trip back to this place. I was really disappointed because I was really looking forward to having a great experience to let all of our friends and family members know about this place.

I love that this location is open late. Employees are super friendly and efficient. I was immediately welcomed once I walked in and greeted with a smile. It was super quiet in there and it looked like all the seats were picked up for the night. Parking was a little difficult as they have a small parking lot. I ordered the Lavender Latte and I was not disappointed. It was the perfect temperature that I was able to enjoy it right away. We also ordered the Chocolate Mexicano de Guadalajara which was super rich. I will definitely be returning soon for another latte.

They have all the space but have not reopened the seating since COVID/2020! It's a mood killer specially on early weekends. Coffees great so I have to drive further out

I dont know why I keep coming to this location . This location is the worse . If the manager guy stops flirting with the girls and spends a minute to greet clients and say good morning maybe the girls can make a decent coffee

Came in to Tierra Mia I was standing in line for 20 min with out being greeted or telling me they will be right with me.. the manager was there she was just came and told the cashier not to take my order so I left

Been here a few times but really enjoy this place, my wife has tried a few drinks from here but I usually just get the horchata frappe which is really good.

THE PARKING IS CRAZY! BUT VERY GOOD DRINKS, FAST AND THE WHIPPED CREAM IS TO DIE FOR! My boyfriend bought me cookies, And he wanted an horchata frap. I've never been to what I call "The Mexican Starbucks" and good lord, it's no wonder I don't! These things are amazing! I think it was about $5.00 my boyfriend paid, but dang. It was super tasty! The parking is horrendous, straight out, lol. There is even people walking from the apartments that are near, people parking across the street, others putting their hazards on and taking up space- it's just a mess, but a mess worth it! Will I come back? 100% yes. Mexican Starbucks for the win!!

Tierra Mia is my go-to cafe in Southeast Los Angeles. I always have a great time trying new drinks and getting one (read: about a dozen) of their delicious pastries! My most recent visit was a 10/10! The barista was extremely kind and patient --they even gave me some recommendations and suggested the dulce de leche frappe which was amazing! I am a huge fan of their tres leches muffins and their honey matcha latte ( a fairly new drink on the menu) so I also got those! Unfortunately this location does not have indoor or outdoor seating, so everything is to go! If you're looking to find a cute cafe to study in, highly encourage you to go to another one of their locations that has seating!

We love Tierra Mia so whenever we pass by a location, we try to support. We were in the area so we came in to buy some coffee. Just like at other TM locations, the staff greets you with a smile. They made our coffees in a timely matter and then we took them to go. Unfortunately, there's still no seating available at this location. The floors are clean and empty.

One of my favorite places to get a Mexican Mocha! Espresso in a Mexican Hot Chocolate? YES! Horchata latte? *kool aid man voice* oh yeah ~ Those are my usual, but today I learned you can adjust the sweetness in drinks (idk why I was told otherwise years ago). I had the half sweetened horchata latte and it tastes exactly as it sounds, but without the extensive amount of sugar in it. As for location, this one's nice and clean, but indoor seating is still unavailable. While standing around waiting for your drink, you can check out the artwork and little blurbs about each coffee roast they serve.

Okurr honey so like we pull up to this place cuz like literally like a homegirl of mine told us bout this place. So I was like sureeeeee and so we pull up. Like literally when we pull up we got attended so like fast by some espangol speaking lady (SO SILLY I'M SORRY) We got like our stuff and drink like so fast it was literally like quicker then me buying ma hydroflask when I saw it. But anyways like the chocolate chip muffin thingy I got like sooo goood as well as the drink thingy I got which I was called hole chata or something like (LITERALLY ME TRYING TO KNOW ESPANGOL LOL) the like only thing I have for compliant is that like literally nowhere to sit so we like had to just be standing on the counter on the photo SMH. Would've like given 5 stars if it wasn't for no chairs :/ But still like a really good spot.

They need to put the chairs back or a few benches while waiting ( I get that there's no parking). Good idea would be to say hi when the customer approaches the register. Also there's no Wi-Fi. It couldn't feel more unwelcoming here. It's not the Tierra Mia brand image I am used to.

I ordered 2 horchata frappes and my frappes tasted like mocha nothing close to horchata. The girls are to distracted talking to each other trying the coffees to pay attention. SMH won't be coming back to this location. I drove 30 minutes and waited 15 minutes for my frappe and there wasn't even people there when I got there.

Very poor customer service. When I walked in I was not greeted.... But I did receive a pretty nasty side eye from one of the girls. And then another girl went to the counter to take my order and I had to be the one to greet her with a "hi, how are you?" And her response was "I'm good, what can I get you?" Go work in a warehouse or something if you can't even pretend like you enjoy interacting with customers.

Came across this place on my visit to LA and boy I'm glad I did. Tried out thier Horchata Frappe Drink and it was so delicious. Staff was attentive. Definitely will come back on another visit.

Oh wow!!!! I'm so glad I tried it here. I was headed towards Starbucks and saw this shop and thought, "what the hay?!" I got a horchata iced coffee- very good!!!! The freaking chocolate tres leches muffin is insane. Yummmm Also I'm buzzing off entirely too much sugar...But I digress.... Staff were suuuuper nice and bathroom was clean which is weird to notice but it was really clean!!!

Drinks come out fast and coffee always tastes delicious, my wife and I prefer this location over the one on imperial and Atlantic, only thing we hope they put chairs and tables to enjoy a little coffee date at some point. Staff is always in a great mood.

First time last week,I don't drink coffee but got the blended horchata drink and it was absolutely delicious! I was also impressed with the tres leeches muffin! I highly recommend this place!

Love the ppl that work there. It's always a good atmosphere when I go in there and feel welcomed by the staff. Plus the Mexican hot chocolate is off the hook, really good. Note to the employees, keep up the great work and thank you guys for your service.

Everything was top notch here! Service,food and drinks were all amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Only downfall was parking is scarce and hard to get in and out of.

The best flavored coffees! My go-to is their Cubano con leche drink...I tried it many years ago and have been hooked ever since. Their muffins are also amazing. We like the churro and tres leche muffins which also comes in a chocolate flavor. Definitely order them warm and one is enough to share as they are big and decadent! It looks like they're still takeout only at this location...no seating available just yet. Go early as they get BUSY!!!

I really like the horchata cold brew & the cafecito cubano con leche over iced (taste similar to Vietnamese iced coffee). Only bad thing about this location is for some reason they don't have any tables or chairs. I think ever since Covid they took them out and still haven't put them back even though other locations do have tables & chairs.

Pulled up and some cute worker helped me and recommended me a lemonade. Hopefully she sees this and decides to give me her number or sum... anyways great service.

Walk in an it smells like coffee grounds, if you like coffee you shouldn't have problem with that. Friendly staff, and was lucky to receive quick service. The churro muffin is really flavorful, strawberry tress leches is so delicious and sweet, with a little filling, the chocolate croissant also really good. I love horchata so why not try the horchata the latte and it was definitely sweet and creamy IMO. Their blended creams were definitely sweet with the right consistency.

Tierra mia would be underrated. But for me I think it's better than STARBUCKS. Here's why Drinks : my first time trying , was the horchata frappe taste exactly like horchata but more icy crumble. The lavander was trippy though. I taste it and it was like a drug or something I was tripping out the taste isn't right away it the after taste . The one from South Gate customer service seems pretty uhhh won't say rude but hard of hearing . So gotta speak up clearly so I guess my fault for that . Other than that it is way perfect tha. Starbucks frappes I recommend to those who love frappes

This coffee spot is soooo yummy, my boyfriend and I had to go two days in a row! Yesterday we went in a little less than an hour before closing and today we went around 4:30pm. Both times it was pretty empty when we walked in besides a couple people waiting for their order. There is no seating in general which is kind of a bummer but they are very quick with getting orders out! The workers were very nice and helpful while ordering. My bf and I shared a large mazapan frappe both times and it was so delicious in our opinion! The frappe had the perfect ratio of the mazapan flavor and still having a good hint of coffee. It also isn't too over powering or too sweet for me which made it the best in my opinion! The whipped cream tasted like it may be homemade ? Super yummy as well! Overall the service, quality, and price is amazing! It was $5.75 with tax for a large frappe and compared to Mc Donald's where a frappe is 5.50 with tax I think it's not that bad with today's inflation.

I'm rating Tierra Mia at 3 stars because the drinks are great and the service is good. The problem is the management because they can't seem to get their inventory right. Every time I come to the shop I want to order a Tres Leches Muffin but it seems they are always running out. You'd think management would adjust their supply based on demand but guess they don't understand simple economics. And it's not just this location but every Tierra Mia in the area is the same.

I went in the morning today and the girl in the front has a bad mood it's not our fault as costumers that she hates her job we go to consume we expect good service as they get treated with good attitude the same from us. I didn't catch her name. The manager should be on her she scares costumers with that attitude !

Only I would drive 3 miles to try a new coffee spot! I asked for bold and I bought the Cuban cafecito with almond milk and no sugar and it did not disappoint! Bold rich flavor and just like that I am ready to start the day! They also had tres leche muffins but I gotta get in a few more work outs to earn that but it is definitely coming! Can't wait to go back and staff hella friendly'

The staff is very slow and take their time. The drinks are pretty good but when they're rushing the drinks are not that great, the pastries are good but I've seen a fly in the pastry case a few times. The place is nice, but ever since COVID they removed the nice furniture that they had . The music that they play is not good at all, and not motivating. The employees are always talking over the drinks to each other which I've noticed makes them work slower. Overall, I do not recommend unless you have nothing to do all day and don't mind waiting 10 minutes for one simple drink.
