"Although Davis says he found a location for Burdell and is gathering investment, for now he’s holding pop-ups around Oakland. He previously did a run at Tribune and through the end of July is cooking at Sequoia Diner on Sundays, with upcoming events at Bay Grape and Tierra Vegetables Farm." - Dianne de Guzman

A beloved family farm for rare chiles, heirloom beans, and seasonal produce, with a small kitchen turning out sauces and jams. Local media frequently cite Tierra for its distinctive crops and CSA roots.

We have been buying our produce here for years. Everything is picked fresh from the fields and lasts a long time once we get it home. But it’s so delicious we usually eat it right away. Plus, they have the best strawberries — so sweet and juicy. And their selection of heirloom peppers and beans can’t be beat.

Organic, yummy, fresh. Need I say more? Especially love the chipotle powder. 2022 This is still the best place for fresh organic groceries. We have been getting their CSA for many years now, and there is always something special. The folks that work here will tell you it's a labor of love, and the quality of the food bears that out. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a short chat, and don't forget to take home some lovely produce. You wil be glad you did!

Love shopping here at this family run store. They have amazing fruit and veggies. I got the most amazing green beans and super delicious strawberries. They also have beautiful flowers 💐. I love their heirloom dried beans too.

Fresh and local and sustainable. I'd rather see my money go into a local family business, it's a bonus that it's also good for the earth and community. It's refreshing that I never have to worry about the quality of food I get from here. Happy tummy, happy wallet.

We called Wayne and we had a vey specific quest. It actually was a request he has never heard of and was intrigued since it’s dealing with a version of an item he sells. He was so gracious to actual procure our request by picking from his own personal farm. In this day and age of no customer service it was refreshing change to meet someone who is grateful for his customers and willing to help in any way. We will be back. See ya at the farm!

fresh and seasonal produce with hyper-seasonal deli items, like tamales in chard. i love their genuinely sweet & sincere customer service folks, too, and their concept of selling what they grow and preserving/ picking/ drying what they don't.
