Tiffany’s Bar and Bistro - Review - H Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"H Street’s latest arrival dishes out Mediterranean-American plates like za’atar grilled calamari and a Greek Isle Smash Burger with feta and pickled red onions. For dessert, a baklava sundae is something we didn’t realize we desperately need. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists. RESERVE A TABLE" - Omnia Saed

I heard about Tiffany’s Bar & Bistro from a friend who highly recommended it, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! I went last Saturday with a couple of friends, and we were all really impressed. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was top-notch—modern, welcoming, and full of good energy. It’s also a great spot for taking pictures—the decor and vibe make for the perfect backdrop. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

A Gem on H Street: Tiffany’s American Mediterranean Tiffany’s American Mediterranean is a fantastic new addition to the H Street corridor, offering a delightful fusion of American and Mediterranean flavors. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a welcoming ambiance and a charming outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying a meal on a pleasant day. The culinary experience, curated by the talented Chef Mehmet, is truly exceptional. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The service is just as impressive, with bartender Eric crafting exquisite cocktails that perfectly complement the menu. Whether you’re looking for a new spot for a special occasion or a casual weeknight dinner, Tiffany’s American Mediterranean is a must-try. The combination of a beautiful setting, delicious food, and top-notch service makes it a standout dining destination in DC.

Had a great dinner experience. I tried both the chicken and the lamb. Both were delicious. They have a wide selection of Raki and Mediterranean inspired cocktails. Very nice ambience with murals and a swing. The decor definitely gives you a Mediterranean vibe. The outdoor seating is very nice and cozy. Overall, it’s a quaint place with a friendly atmosphere and staff. A great place for a date or just to have a good meal.

We had a great meal at Tiffany’s during its opening week. The food and drinks were very tasty and the service was very personal. The golden grains vegetarian entree was great- kind of a barley risotto like dish. The shishito peppers with whipped feta was also a favorite. The Dubai chocolate cheesecake was the perfect finish.

Amazing!!!! Amazing! The staff and owner was very welcoming and helpful. It was my first time. The chili shrimp is the best sautéed shrimp I have had in a restaurant thus far. The branzino reminds me of a restaurant that I frequent in Miami. I literally have been waiting to find a place who cooked their fish like that. Also the chef is friendly and will discuss dishes with you and everything. Can’t wait to go back!

If you haven’t been to Tiffany’s yet, it’s time to make your way over to H Street and discover one of DC’s newest gems. This American Mediterranean spot blends warmth and elegance with rich, flavorful dishes and a beautifully curated atmosphere inside and out. Food: The highlight of my visit was a stunning dish from Chef Mehmet perfectly braised beef short ribs served on a velvety purée, topped with a sunny-side-up egg, pickled onions, and microgreens. Every bite was rich and balanced, with beautiful textures and layers of flavor that showed real culinary finesse. Drinks: Bartender Eric crafted a stellar whiskey-based cocktail that was the perfect pairing smooth, citrusy, and just strong enough to wake the senses. His hospitality and knowledge made the experience at the bar feel personal and inviting. Atmosphere: Tiffany’s is stylish yet cozy, with a modern design and welcoming energy. The outdoor seating is an absolute treat ideal for warm evenings, people-watching, and casual conversation under the city lights. If you’re looking for a place that combines culinary craft, great service, and ambiance, Tiffany’s is it. Whether you’re here for a full dinner, drinks at the bar, or just a taste of something new, this is a place that will keep you coming back.

Yelp
On a hot Sunday on H St., the Aegean Afternoon provided the much-needed refreshment of a summer spritz. If there was any alcohol in this beverage though, I neither felt it nor tasted it. Rather, it was like a subtle cucumber-flavored lemonade with a hint of honey. The smash burger provided all I would expect from a burger. Despite initially feeling like I could eat it in three bites, it was heartier than it appeared and the whipped feta gave it a unique Mediterranean feel. The Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake served as the star of the menu with its multitude of tastes and textures in every bite. Pistachio pieces on top of a hard piece of chocolate sits above its layers of mascarpone cheese, heavy cream and pistachio cream. I have no complaints about the service and the interior of the restaurant is pretty, although I wish I knew there was an upstairs to it. I saw another photo of the cheesecake and wish the presentation for mine a little better. The price for my meal was about $60, which feels a bit much compared to other restaurants on H St., but I also understand that it's a new restaurant so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as they figure things out.

Yelp
Beautiful space and decor. There's a cute outdoor patio! Customer service was lovely! I ordered the steak and cheese- it was okay, not my favorite. I'd definitely come back and try something else and have a few drinks.

Yelp
This place is fine, definitely not my vibe. It's pricey for what it is in my opinion. The service was ok - they were training folks, so a little clunky... the watermelon drink was realllllly not good IMO, tasted like black licorice. The watermelon cooler was much better for me! Scallops were absolutely delicious but you literally get 3, so I was still hungry after a full meal lol. It was also dripping from the ceiling upstairs (not sure if it was the AC or the rain). Prob won't be back, except maybe for dessert, that was good!

Yelp
Not just fantastic, but surprisingly so. The branzino (with pickled mustard seeds on top), as recommended by my waitress, was perfectly prepared and presented; my idle light cocktail (rye and apricot) was a perfect balance of boozy and sweet; and the service was friendly af.

Yelp
Amazing brunch experience. People need to flock here. Gorgeous space. Friendly, attentive staff. Amazing food. $11 bottomless mimosas for 1.5 hours. Everything made in house, from juices to bread. We will definitely come back for dinner. There was an event upstairs at the time and seemed like it would be a great party venue. Can't recommend them enough.

Yelp
Finally discovered my favorite pancakes (I think the key is the ricotta!) during a first time visit to Tiffany's. The new spot on H St. is beautiful and the staff is warm and welcoming.

Yelp
Truly exquisite food here. Lovely restaurant decor. Small portions but every bite was worth it. Definitely recommend giving this new place a try!

Yelp
I've now come back twice because I love this place so much, such a great addition to H St! The owners are so lovely and have an amazing story and the food is phenomenal.

Yelp
We had such an awesome experience at Tiffany's Bar and Bistro! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the chili crisp shrimp and hummus, which were both packed with flavor and super fresh. We also got the grill and sea for two, and it did not disappoint--the fish, calamari, and scallops were all perfectly cooked, and the flavors were so well-balanced. Everything on the plate had its own thing going on, but it all worked together beautifully. We also tried a vegetarian grain dish that surprised us in the best way--it was hearty, flavorful, and one of those dishes you just keep going back to for another bite. The vibe of the place was spot on, and the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly, and the owners checked in on us multiple times, which made the whole experience feel really personal. Pro tip: don't skip dessert. The Dubai chocolate cheesecake was next-level--rich, dreamy, and the perfect ending. If you're into Mediterranean flavors, or just great food and welcoming people, go check this place out. We're already planning our return visit!
