Tiffany’s Bar and Bistro - Review - H Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"H Street’s latest arrival dishes out Mediterranean-American plates like za’atar grilled calamari and a Greek Isle Smash Burger with feta and pickled red onions. For dessert, a baklava sundae is something we didn’t realize we desperately need. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists. RESERVE A TABLE" - Omnia Saed

The Biggest D.C.-Area Restaurant Openings in June 2025 | Eater DC

"A charming bistro blending Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and American flavors with playful dishes such as a harissa fried chicken sandwich, a kabob melt sandwich, and za’atar grilled calamari alongside classics like creamy hummus and eggplant dolma rolls; the owners emphasize cultural fusion (their opening featured belly dancing) and aim to create a warm, eclectic dining vibe." - Emily Venezky

I really enjoyed Tiffanys Bar and Bistro. Such a great atmosphere; between the excellent and warming customer service and the ambiance, it was a great experience. The food was on point as well. Had the meat dish and everything was tasty. The chicken was roasted to perfection, and the lamb chops were yummy. I’d highly recommend! The owners are very friendly and take the time to give you great service.

I experienced Tiffany’s for my Birthday during the brunch time. Everything was amazing! From the greeting upon entering to the recommendations.. the biscuits and the Greek donuts are a must try, along with Mediterranean omelet, and the French toast. The food has fresh ingredients that you really can taste!! I will most definitely recommend Tiffany’s to all of my friends.

Tiffany’s Bar and Bistro is a fantastic new addition to H Street NE. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the festive, cozy atmosphere. The holiday decor was stunning and high-quality, making the whole room feel bright and welcoming. The service truly set the experience apart. Our host/server was the perfect balance of attentive and unintrusive, sharing the stories behind the murals and the Chef Mehmet's scratch kitchen with genuine pride. The Food Highlights: • Cocktails: Beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. • Starters: Do NOT miss the Urfa Chili Shrimp and the Batata Harra. Both were perfectly portioned and seasoned. • The Main Event: We split the Grill & Meat Delight for Two. Every cut was cooked to perfection. Pairing it with their recommended bottle of red and their spiced mashed potatoes side was a winning move. • Dessert: We ended with the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake (incredibly light/whipped) and the Knafeh (decadent and authentic). It’s clear the team here is passionate about every detail. If you’re looking for an intimate, high-quality meal in a warm setting, this is your spot. Perfect for a quiet date or to impress your family. I’ll definitely be back!

I went to dinner here with my husband for our anniversary and it was so lovely! They have a beautiful patio that was perfect for the occasion. Our waiter Julia and the two owners were all very kind, warm, attentive, intentional, and made our anniversary dinner extra special! (you rock Julia!!!). The food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the scallops as they had a complex and balanced flavor profile while the scallops were the perfect melt in your mouth texture. The salmon was also delicious! The Silk Road cocktail was a great choice if you're looking for a nice autumn flavor profile! There's also a fun swing inside which was an added bonus for a fun moment and some cute pictures.

Lovely early evening with a surprise stumble upon family owned Tiffany’s. Extremely welcoming. Winners for our table: eggplant dolma rolls (a flavorful combination with eggplant and beef), scallops (with barley and a pumpkin puree), Winter’s Solstice (calvados, orange curaçao, lemon juice- and some special yummy rim), with the grand prize going to the Duck Shawarma - perfectly done with forbidden rice, mushrooms, yummy amba sauce (a very flavorful savory mango based sauce). Looking forward to returning to save room for dessert.

Google
Tiffany’s was absolutely delicious. We tried several entrees including the Short Rib Hash. The juices for their drinks are homemade. Even better than the food is the service provided by the staff. We will definitely be back!

I walked into Tiffany’s hungry and walked out wondering if I could legally change my address to their dining room. Let’s talk about the food. The meat platter? Phenomenal. Each bite was like a tiny, delicious love letter to my taste buds. The baba ganoush was so smooth and flavorful I briefly considered asking if they’d cater my future life events. And the knafe—oh, the knafe. Sweet, crispy, cheese-pulling perfection that made me understand why people write poetry about dessert. But honestly, the food could have been half as good and I’d still come back just for the owners. These folks are genuinely lovely humans who clearly care about what they’re doing and who they’re serving it to. You know that rare restaurant experience where you feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home? That’s Tiffany's. I’m already planning my return trip and mentally drafting a group text to convince my friends this needs to be our new spot. Fair warning: I might become one of those annoying people who won’t shut up about this place. Do yourself a favor and go.

Google
Came here for brunch and had the lamb sausage shakshouka and the braised short rib hash. Both were so delicious. The shakshouka is a bit spicy which I really liked. I wish it had more sausages and/or eggs though. They also offered me more bread to eat with. The short rib was so tender and delicious. The potatoes were cooked so well too. The mimosas were great; I appreciated the champagne to juice ratio. Great service; they were very kind. I’ll be coming here again to try other dishes!

Yelp
Breakfast at Tiffany has always been a classic film, but pairing that iconic name with royal Ottoman family recipes takes the experience to another level entirely. We stumbled upon this new restaurant on the H Street corridor 8th street--a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough around the edges--but what we found inside was nothing short of a true gem. The moment we stepped in, we were stunned by how beautifully designed the space is. The décor feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated, offering a calm retreat from the busy street outside. But the real magic arrives on the plate. Every dish we tried showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, layered flavors, and a clear respect for the rich culinary heritage of the Ottoman and Istanbul royal family traditions. You can taste the care and legacy behind every recipe. This is not just another brunch spot--it's a place where history, culture, and freshness come together in a way that feels both authentic and elevated. They have both the upstairs and downstairs of the building. Upstairs is a great social gathering with a bartender and the back patio is nicely renovated that can host pet in the summer months. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what the restaurant offers. It's rare to find a place that surprises you in all the right ways, but Tiffany's Bistro & Bar does exactly that. A beautiful concept, executed with heart. We can't wait to come back.

Yelp
We were in the area and saw the reviews for this place and decided to try it. We were seated on the main floor and were the only ones there. Minimal decor but that was fine. Service was prompt and friendly. We started with the hummus and fennel salad. Both were good but nothing special. The stars of the night were the main dishes...the saffron salmon and harvest ravioli...delicious!! We also indulged in desserts...the cheesecake and kunafe. Both were amazing and so indulgent! Overall a very delicious meal and friendly service...we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner. The service was great and the food was even better. There was a bunch of us so we tried all the appetizers. They were all delicious. The avocado hummus on the hummus plater was really unique. Nothing was a disappointment or something I wouldn't get again. Got an assortment of entrees to share as well. The seafood plater for two was delicious. Lots of different seafood including scallops on it. They gave the birthday boy a piece of their cheesecake on the house with a candle. This was a very nice touch to end the night and everyone voted this their favorite of the two desserts we had.

Yelp
Beautiful space and decor. There's a cute outdoor patio! Customer service was lovely! I ordered the steak and cheese- it was okay, not my favorite. I'd definitely come back and try something else and have a few drinks.

Yelp
On a hot Sunday on H St., the Aegean Afternoon provided the much-needed refreshment of a summer spritz. If there was any alcohol in this beverage though, I neither felt it nor tasted it. Rather, it was like a subtle cucumber-flavored lemonade with a hint of honey. The smash burger provided all I would expect from a burger. Despite initially feeling like I could eat it in three bites, it was heartier than it appeared and the whipped feta gave it a unique Mediterranean feel. The Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake served as the star of the menu with its multitude of tastes and textures in every bite. Pistachio pieces on top of a hard piece of chocolate sits above its layers of mascarpone cheese, heavy cream and pistachio cream. I have no complaints about the service and the interior of the restaurant is pretty, although I wish I knew there was an upstairs to it. I saw another photo of the cheesecake and wish the presentation for mine a little better. The price for my meal was about $60, which feels a bit much compared to other restaurants on H St., but I also understand that it's a new restaurant so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as they figure things out.

Yelp
Beautiful little bistro w/ creative drinks & nice menu. Hummus trio said it was GF but when I inquired, served w/ pita which was not GF:( Grill calamari was amazing! Had hard time deciding better burrata & beef salad but went beet w/ labneh which was delicious. Opted for Raki the Kasbah as my drink & it was so unique & tasty! Service was on point.

Yelp
A cozy, chef-owned Turkish restaurant serving Michelin-quality food in a welcoming, community-minded setting -- absolutely worth a trip from anywhere in the DC area. We found Tiffany's while searching for hidden gems in D.C., and it turned out to be one of the best meals we've ever had. The chef and his wife welcome you like guests in their home, sharing the story behind their food. They're from Turkey and bring a tradition of true freshness -- sauces, breads, and so much more made from scratch daily, with a seasonally changing menu. The food rivals Michelin quality, yet the vibe is warm, unpretentious, and community-driven. An absolute standout in D.C. and worth going out of your way for. #HiddenGemDC #HStreetDC #DCFoodies #SupportLocal

Yelp
Went here with a friend. We enjoyed everything. The food, environment & service. I had lamb chops, the eggplant/beef dolmas and their hand made to order dessert. All were on point. Drinks too. I'm going back soonest. This is a special place, and much needed in our times.

Yelp
Not just fantastic, but surprisingly so. The branzino (with pickled mustard seeds on top), as recommended by my waitress, was perfectly prepared and presented; my idle light cocktail (rye and apricot) was a perfect balance of boozy and sweet; and the service was friendly af.

Yelp
Finally discovered my favorite pancakes (I think the key is the ricotta!) during a first time visit to Tiffany's. The new spot on H St. is beautiful and the staff is warm and welcoming.

Yelp
This place is fine, definitely not my vibe. It's pricey for what it is in my opinion. The service was ok - they were training folks, so a little clunky... the watermelon drink was realllllly not good IMO, tasted like black licorice. The watermelon cooler was much better for me! Scallops were absolutely delicious but you literally get 3, so I was still hungry after a full meal lol. It was also dripping from the ceiling upstairs (not sure if it was the AC or the rain). Prob won't be back, except maybe for dessert, that was good!

Yelp
We had a delicious meal in this cozy restaurant! On a Sunday night three of us walked by Tiffany's and were struck by the charming decor outside and walked in. We were warmly greeted by the bartender. Our plan was just to have a drink, but after a delicious appetizer we stayed for dinner. Between the three of us we shared duck shwarma, veggie moussaka and chicken kabob....all beautifully prepared. We will absolutely go back! such a nice, inviting spot on H Street.

Yelp
The food here was really amazing. I'd describe it as a "slightly upscale"-- you're not going to feel uncomfortable in jeans, e.g., but the food is really top notch. We are vegetarian, and there were multiple offerings for us to try. I was really impressed with the baba ghanoush and raviolis-- but also the pear salad was incredible. We weren't in a rush, so we ordered the kunafe dessert (that they make fresh so it takes 15 min or so), and it was next level. The space is super cute, and the folks there are really nice. We'll definitely be back

Yelp
Absolutely loved this gem of a spot. We ordered the Breakfast at Tiffany's, Hummus and Salmon toast, and both items on the kids menu for our 4 and 6 year old. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is elegant and clean, but also caters for kids. Service was great, we even had a chance to meet the owner. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Love this place! Terrific food, warm and friendly service and great decor. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
Happy hour was good & reasonable: margaritas were $7 & delish! Apps good too especially the kofte dumplings. Cute patio. One thing, music too loud out there.

Yelp
Amazing brunch experience. People need to flock here. Gorgeous space. Friendly, attentive staff. Amazing food. $11 bottomless mimosas for 1.5 hours. Everything made in house, from juices to bread. We will definitely come back for dinner. There was an event upstairs at the time and seemed like it would be a great party venue. Can't recommend them enough.

Yelp
We recently dine at Tiffanys and it was great the food and drinks were amazing definitely we will be back

Yelp
Get in here before this place pops. The drinks...amazing. Food...divine. The Halloumi Delight shows up on the dinner menu, but the were able to make it for our lunch. Oh, my, g--, amazing...served on a smashed sweet potato. I've never had anything like it. Plenty for meat eaters, vegetarians, and. vegans. Order their house drink at happy hour - Raki the Kasbah. Water melon and mint leaves on top. The ingredients are fresh, ambiance is Mediterranean and bright, people are great. This place is a new gem on H street. The owner, Harvard trained chef, and innovator walks the floor. Eric, tending the bar and all things on the second floor is a sweet soul. I came here on a Friday and came back on a Saturday. Both times the food was elevated, fresh, and served in a relaxing atmosphere.

J H.

Yelp
Branzino was raw in the middle and still had scale. Service could be better. Had higher expectation.

Major D.

Yelp
WHAT A GEM! Tiffany's is a wonderful confluence of Western, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. A family run restaurant that delivers on a satisfying dining experience. We sat at the upstairs bar (outstanding) and enjoyed great cocktails and beautifully prepared and presented dishes. For top notch service, ambiance and a delicious menu, Tiffany's is a must!

Brandon W.

Yelp
We had such an awesome experience at Tiffany's Bar and Bistro! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the chili crisp shrimp and hummus, which were both packed with flavor and super fresh. We also got the grill and sea for two, and it did not disappoint--the fish, calamari, and scallops were all perfectly cooked, and the flavors were so well-balanced. Everything on the plate had its own thing going on, but it all worked together beautifully. We also tried a vegetarian grain dish that surprised us in the best way--it was hearty, flavorful, and one of those dishes you just keep going back to for another bite. The vibe of the place was spot on, and the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly, and the owners checked in on us multiple times, which made the whole experience feel really personal. Pro tip: don't skip dessert. The Dubai chocolate cheesecake was next-level--rich, dreamy, and the perfect ending. If you're into Mediterranean flavors, or just great food and welcoming people, go check this place out. We're already planning our return visit!

Lindsey K.

Yelp
I've now come back twice because I love this place so much, such a great addition to H St! The owners are so lovely and have an amazing story and the food is phenomenal.

Winsome W.

Yelp
I am so happy to have this restaurant on H! The food, drinks, and people are all so authentic. Excellent food and drinks in a pleasant, calm setting.

Nina A.

Yelp
Tiffany's provided the best food, service and ambiance I could hope for. The Rose of Petra cocktail was great and just the beginning before the fantastic grilled octopus appetizer arrived. Then came the Lamb of Luxery lamb chops, with amazing chimichurri spices. Anyone looking for a perfect place to take a date has found it on H St NE & 7th at Tiffany's Mediterranean bistro.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
Hugely disappointing. We went for Sunday brunch and much of the menu was unavailable. What we did get was not impressive either--shakshuka that tasted like a can of tomatoes has been dumped into a bowl and mediocre egg and pancake dishes.

Jason S.

Yelp
A hidden gem on H street! The owners are incredibly sweet and thoughtful and the food was amazing. A must check if you are on H street.

Pedro F.

Yelp
First time we dined at Tiffany's and let me tell you this it was amazing we order mix grilled for two it was outstanding there were lots meat, also drinks were excellent service was great definitely will be back not to forget don't miss Dubai chocolate cheesecake

Ömer C.

Yelp
Our party of nine dined at Tiffany's Bar & Bistro following the H Street Festival on September 20th, which drew more than 100,000 attendees. We ordered scallops, calamari, the seafood platter, and other dishes. Everything was delicious service was excellent.

Karen S.

Yelp
The hummus trio was fantastic! Sandwiches were satisfying and the fries sufficiently spicy. The service was excellent. Loved the swing!

Leslie M.

Yelp
Truly exquisite food here. Lovely restaurant decor. Small portions but every bite was worth it. Definitely recommend giving this new place a try!

Molly H.

Yelp
Truly a 5 star experience. From the service to the food to the drinks, everything was excellent. This had been on our list for months, and I'm glad we finally made it in. The hostess was extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home. She gave us great recommendations and you could really feel the passion that she has for this restaurant. The first floor is beautifully decorated and clean. Our waiter, Paris, was fantastic as well. He made great drink recommendations and was attentive in a cool and calm way. We ordered the Silk Road and the rose of Petra drinks, both of which were very good. Then we ordered the htipiti which was like a roasted veggie tartare with fantastic pita bread. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful and the pumpkin puree really complimented it well. We also tried the lamb chop which was delicious, super tender, and the carrots and couscous went well together. Overall, everything was fantastic and there is so much more on the menu that we would like to come back and try. 10/10 would recommend!
