"The most upscale dining spots inside Animal Kingdom are Tiffins and the attached Nomad Lounge, with a menu of things like gobi manchurian and tamarind-braised short rib. Nomad Lounge is walk-in only, and a perfect spot to snack on thai milk bread with coconut-makrut lime sauce and charcuterie. It’s also nice for a full sit-down meal in the dining room to have whole fried fish and short rib—you’ll generally need a reservation, but we’ve had luck with walk-in tables during off-peak months." - carina finn koeppicus, anne cruz

"Created as an ode to Imagineers’ trips around the globe while building Animal Kingdom, the space features art gallery-inspired decor, and the menu could rival those of nationally regarded restaurants. Signature items include a whole-fried sustainable fish served teeth and all." - Amanda Kludt, Helen Rosner, Bill Addison, Carlye Wisel

"At Tiffins Restaurant, which has a five-star safari ambience, the bread service kicks off with naan and lavash with a zingy chutney and other sides—be careful not to fill up too quickly. Appetizers skew Mediterranean, with artisanal cheeses, falafel, and charred octopus. For mains, try the butter chicken, sustainably caught fish (fried whole), or the hearty braised lamb shank. The guava mousse with lemon curd makes for a lovely, light finish." - Terry Ward

Overall, I thought this place was good. My daughter's steak came out rare which had to be returned. The kids chicken terriyaki was extremely dry and mostly tasteless. Most of my husband's roast was fat, so hardly any meat. The fish fillet and coconut fried rice was great but hard on the salty side. Bread service was good but the chutney was horrible and wouldn't consider it authentic. The dessert were great!

Must make reservations. Tiffins is a bit on the pricey side but the experience is worth the money, kind of like Disney tickets, right 😉 Pork belly was phenomenal! Bao buns lackluster and not very tasty. The burger was so juicy, delicious and included fries, non alcoholic beverage and a yummy chocolate moose. Surf & turf was good not great. Scallops were not seasoned and pretty much tasteless ☹️ Chocolate bar was very rich but very good! Excellent service by David 👏🏼

Just wow, the butter chicken was excellent, this is delicious if you love curry and saffron flavored you will love this place. It’s a bit on the fine dining side I was nervous with my toddler and 5 year old but the food was worth it. I find there are two types of places to eat in Disney, they are either off the charts with ambiance and characters or the food is spectacular and the ambiance is more for adults rather than kiddos. As I married a chef this was fantastic. We would definitely go again.

Just ok. Out of all the restaurants we tried at Disney this was the least favorite which was sad given all of the positive reviews we heard going in. The appetizers were a strong start, the bread service and charcuterie were well presented and tasted great, though the portion size for the Charcuterie was small. The main course (Surf and Turf) included a very small portion of steak and scallops that were bland and flavorless. Dessert was probably the high point, good flavor, great presentation and good portion size. The actual restaurant itself is gorgeous, and despite it having underwhelming food, the decor was a high point. Service was typical Disney, you don't build much of a rapport with your server in most cases regardless of restaurant, though we observed a server at another table who really went out of his way to converse and make every guest feel special which was great to see. Our server was strictly by the book however. Overall, given the cost/experience this would be the only restaurant I would skip next time I'm at Disney.

Disappointed and Uncomfortable Experience – Not Worth the Hype We were really looking forward to our visit to Tiffins at Disney World, especially given its reputation for unique storytelling, rich theming, and mostly positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the expectations and left us disappointed on multiple fronts. The service, in particular, was a major letdown. While we noticed other tables receiving warm welcomes, detailed explanations of the restaurant’s theme, and the stories behind the artwork and artifacts, our experience was starkly different. No one took the time to engage with us in the same way, and the staff serving us came across as unfriendly and disengaged. At a place like Disney, where inclusivity and guest experience are supposed to be top priorities, this stood out in a very uncomfortable way. It’s hard not to feel that there may have been some bias at play. While we can’t say for certain, the disparity in service compared to other guests around us made us feel unwelcome and out of place—an especially disappointing feeling at a Disney property, where you expect warmth and hospitality regardless of who you are. When it came to the food, the presentation was nice, but the taste and value were far from impressive: The Gobi Manchurian looked appealing but was overly sour and drenched in sauce—not authentic and definitely not enjoyable. The Whole Fried Fish was misleadingly described. The mention of green and yellow curry suggested a flavorful accompaniment, but it was just a streak of sauce for decoration. The Fruit Cup was extremely basic, with just two types of melon, though the cut was neat. The dessert was the only highlight—a rich chocolate treat that we did enjoy. Overall, this visit was disappointing—not just because of the below-average food and high prices, but because of how we were made to feel. Dining out is about more than just the food; it’s about the experience. And unfortunately, this one left us feeling like we didn’t belong. There are much better dining options at Disney that offer great food and welcoming service. We’d recommend places like Tusker House, where we’ve had consistently warm and enjoyable experiences.

If you're looking for a dining experience that feels like an adventure in itself, Tiffins at Disney's Animal Kingdom is the place to be! From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world of art, culture, and flavors inspired by global exploration. We started with a fresh, vibrant salad that was perfectly balanced—crisp greens, bold flavors, and just the right amount of dressing. It was the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then came the grilled octopus, and wow—this dish was a showstopper! Tender, smoky, and cooked to perfection, it was easily one of the best octopus dishes we've ever had. But the star of the show? The whole pan-fried fish. It was beautifully presented, with crispy skin and flaky, flavorful meat that melted in your mouth. Every bite was a delight, and the accompanying sides complemented it perfectly. The service was top-notch, with the staff making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The ambiance is also worth mentioning—it's like dining in a gallery filled with stories from around the world. Tiffins is more than just a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're a foodie, an adventurer, or just someone looking for a memorable dining spot, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! 🌟

Tiffins is very good! I enjoy their bread service a lot and all of their proteins are perfectly done. I liked the couscous I had this time. The mango sticky rice was alright, but too complex when compared to the original style. There was a strong herbal element in this rendition that I did not think went well with the mango.

Incredible meal at Tiffin's. I had pork belly with a scallop as an appetizer, shrimp and grits, and chocolate mousse cake. We had the best adventure with the incredible wine list ! Highly recommend. Every bite was carefully crafted and thoughtful. The scallop was PERFECTLY cooked, the pork belly was addictive, and the pastry chef got a home run!
