Convenient location on corner. Small stall with 1 staff taking order and churning out the drinks. Very slow and inefficient service for such a big chain franchise. I was taking pictures and was told not allowed. I even mentioned I’m a google reviewer and it would be good marketing. The person explicitly said NO in a rude manner. I’m actually afraid they may put something else in my drink. My order was 108 and somehow he called out 109 multiple times. Unlikely to return here again. 👎👎

I have never felt so disappointed about Tiger Sugar as this much. I ordered taro bubble tea also updated to XL cup and of course it will be more “charge”. But what i got more for my drink are milk and ice??? I don’t understand is boba or toppings that much expensive?? And my drink tastes totally like milk and non flavor of taro which is so shameful. Please don’t advertising that much for kept customer disappointed :)!

I visited here because of Hello Kitty. I couldn't resist getting the cup. It looks so cute I ordered a Black Sugar Boba through the self-order kiosk, and it was quite enjoyable. It is a convenient and fast option, allowing me to avoid waiting in line while still giving me the time to carefully review the menu or quickly place my order, especially during busy periods.

Different review/update: So, in this visit I ask for less ice and this dude still put so much ice (see 2 new photos) I paid for ice. I ordered large and in few sips my drink was done. Also, this “jumbo boba” isn’t really boba. It’s jelly shaped into big ball shape. If I knew that, I would have not gotten it. It’s pretty much false advertising. Boba is tapioca to my understanding. I wasn’t happy I felt like I wasted $8 for few sips. First review: Last time I came here I ordered the mango sago and strawberry mochi. Very delicious. I tried to ask for less ice or no ice at all and they said no. I’ve had drinks plenty of times from tiger sugar before and notice too much ice so I thought I’d ask. Its hard to enjoy the toppings when there is too much ice floating around in the drink when you finish drinking it. All bubble tea places allow you to control ice levels. The amount of ice shouldn’t be a “standard” in the recipe. If there is too much ice it dilutes the drink and taste bad. The drink also finishes too quick. People don’t want to pay for ice… they want a drink. Other than the ice thing… the drinks are good and all. Also would it be possible to put all these special new drinks so they could be ordered for delivery or pick up online? I wanted to try place and order but didn’t because of this. Thank you

Brown sugar tea with boba is delicious and will have you coming back for more. Service is good they mixed my drink very well and it was appreciated. They are so busy making lots of drinks. They are working hard nonstop. Plenty of boba and other drinks to choose from at TIGER SUGAR BROOKLYN.

NOVEMBER UPDATE: Ordered the signature boba drink and it tasted like sweetened milk with flavorless boba. It was acceptable but far below my expectations. My last visit was way better. JULY: The place is kind of small and can be easily crowded when busy. Ordered the matcha drink and the strawberry mochi today ranging from 6-8 dollars per cup. The drinks are really good and not too sweet, and also contains a good amount of boba. The only downside to that is the amount of ice, which takes up half of the cup.

One can never go wrong with anything from Tiger Sugar. As a boba tea fanatic, I can't stay away too long from a purchase. I'm such a Hello Kitty fan, so I had to pop out for the cutest collaboration of the summer to try the new limited edition Hello kitty Crush drink served in an adorable line of Hello kitty designed collectable cups and cup holders... Best bubble tea in Bay Ridge! Ever since I attended the Yelp Event, I'm addicted! The #1 Boba in the menu is delicious! I have become an addict thanks to Tiger Sugar.

I asked for less ice, but he gave me a lot of ice and then when my dad asked about it then said it was 40%+ ice/water and when my dad asks who the owner is they said "I don't know". Beware you're paying $7.50 for a half cup of ice. And the place is not that clean and is small and the table there was tall then me. If yelp had 0 star my review would be 0 star.

I visit this location pretty frequently with my partner and we are mostly happy with the drinks at Tiger Sugar. Really happy that there's a location close to home and that the drinks are better than most boba locations. I would definitely put this on my top 5 list of boba places. I had the chance to try the Tiger Mango last fall and thoroughly enjoyed it although it was pretty expensive for $8. I would recommend the signature brown sugar boba milk with pearls cream mousse and the one with tiger jelly. I would not recommend the Mochi bobo drink though. I really didn't like it as the mochi texture was not great and felt gloopy that i had to throw it out. Stick with the classics and you can't go wrong!

My favorite boba at all times. No other places can beat their boba. It's just so rich in creaminess. I'm happy they have a Tiger sugar in the area.

Tiger Sugar is for sure one of my favorite bubble tea chains in nyc! Their boba is so good - the perfect amount of chewiness and sweetness. Not only are their drinks so delicious, they're also super satisfying on a hot summer day. My go to drinks at tiger sugar are their signature brown sugar boba milk tea and brown sugar milk with boba, pearl, coffee jelly and cream mousse. I also tried their taro drink before which was super delicious and had actual chunks of taro in it. While their drinks are on the more expensive side, their drinks do taste more so like a premium drink. Aside from that, did I mention that their drinks are super pretty and instagrammable? A major win for me! I can't wait to come back to try their new drinks on the menu!

Tried the green tea matcha latte with cream mousse and boba - highly recommend. Perfect blend of matcha, not too milky, and the brown sugar compliments it so well. They have a convenient touchscreen inside to order and customize your drink.

Ahem..... Bobaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! I almost forgot how unique and wonderful boba tea is. Unfortunately, where I live there are no shops nearby. So you can imagine my excitement when my boyfriend suggested we come here. I ordered the Brown Sugar Black Tea with boba and I forgot what my boyfriend ordered (blame it on my poor memory). The tea was perfect! The boba was nice and chewy. It had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm at that age, where things are becoming too sweet (yes, I'm that lady that scrapes the frosting off of her cake now). Tiger Sugar never fails!!!

I recently went to Tiger Sugar again for their Yelp Elite week for Lunar New Year! I love that Tiger Sugar is branching out on new drinks as Im not the biggest fan of brown sugar- I got the black sugar lemon tea and it was refreshing and sour, perfect for summer but still worth it in the cold. Next time I do wanna try their mango pomelo drink and also the mochi topping looked really interesting!

I'm aging myself, but I'm so glad the dark days of overcooked boba with no give and drinks flavored by powder are way in the rear view mirror, and we're living in a time of fresh tea and milk teas with the most qq boba you can find wherever you look. The chains from Asia seem to produce the best drinks, and Tiger Sugar is at the top of this list. When they opened their first New York location in Flushing, lines could be seen around the block at any time of day, any day of the week. Even this Bensonhurst location saw lines on end for the first couple of weeks they were open, and for good reason-- the drinks are divine. Their bread and butter is the brown sugar boba tea, which they claim to be a purveyor of. The name Tiger Sugar comes from the resemblance of tiger stripes the streaks of brown sugar make across the drink. Aesthetics of the drink aside, they nail the flavor of the drink. The boba is always fresh and chewy, and the drink is made to perfection-- it's not as sweet as it looks. They just hit all the right notes. I've also enjoyed their coffee with milk and coffee jelly, as well as their egg pudding in my teas. Each drink has hit the spot and had me planning my next visit.

I'm so happy Tiger Sugar opened a location in my neighborhood of Bensonhurst! No more extra travels to the city whenever I'm home and crave Tiger Sugar! Service and staffs are quick, efficient, and very friendly. I've only tried 2 of their signature drinks: the brown sugar milk with boba, pearls and cream mousse and the taro pudding one. Both are delicious; not too sweet and very smooth tasting. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

I've tried the branches in the three boroughs, and the 86th one is the least sweet, which is perfect because you can't adjust sugar levels regularly. I'd also say their drinks are less "fatty" than the Flushing one - I didn't feel as bloated/heavy after drinking like I did at the Flushing branch. Probably not enough cream? If I'm getting TS though, I'm kinda here to get fat, but at the same time, I also feel less guilty receiving a lighter version hahhhh I always get the usual, but for the Brooklyn Yelp Elite event, I tried the #5 which is the regular but with pudding and it was DELICIOUS. Normally I love pudding anyway, but the pudding with the brown sugar swirl, the mousse, it just made the whole drink super creamy and smooth. I would omit the bubbles next time so that each sip is pure pudding without boba clogs in the straw. I finished it in one sitting by myself and immediately wanted another - wasn't insanely sweet as well But boba itself is definitely not as chewy as Flushing's

This was so needed after a stressful week. Came here and decided to try their new matcha black sugar with boba & cream mouse.. I really couldn't decide between this and the taro! I am glad I got this instead of their regular black sugar boba. The matcha drink was the perfect amount of sweetness I think the matcha helps balance it. I came, ordered and was out in less than two minutes.. very efficient workers this is a small space with no seating but I didn't mind since I like to take my drinks to go most of the time and can't really recall a time I really sat down at a spot to drink my bubble tea.

Always worth the drive! The classic signature drinks are my favorite and service is always friendly.

Nothing new to add, Tiger Sugar is my favorite of all chains especially for their brown sugar drinks (kind of their namesake specialty). My sweet tooth can't help itself and yes, one must indulge in moderation. Welcome to the hood and please stay a while! Bensonhurst is booming with boba & tea shops... lines are no longer insane, perhaps the hype has played out or just over saturated with competitions. Order by the window, follow the blue tape for 6 feet apart and wait for your number to pop up! Pick up & show your receipt! For this location, got the original signature (#1) and the tiger jelly (#2)... (PSA: they no longer have the Boba only or Pearl only version. It's now a combined). Definitely more ice, drinks are less sweet... but probably better for those who are concern about diabetes so this would be a better choice. For me, the Sunset Park location is still my fav! Exactly how I like it just as I remember from HK!

Finally a Tiger Sugar in BK! Always good tiger is boba on steroids. Brown sugar boba for the win! Usually get this to go while I'm shopping on 86th. It's the perfect pick me up. I love that you can customize the sugar level you want as well.

I ordered number 5. It was basically number 1 (original/ what they're famous for) but with pudding. If I were to describe the flavor it was basically grass jelly + condensed & evaporated milk + steamed egg pudding. I love how it tastes but sucks that because of inflation/popularity, it's a whopping price of $5.50 ish. Customers can wait indoors at the side, following social distancing rules.

It has been a while since I last had their bubble tea so I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and so happy that there was no line during that time! I am also happy that they decided to open a location in this area so that it is convenient whenever I am in the area. I have tried their signature brown sugar boba milk + pearl with cream mousse at previous locations and liked it so I decided to order it again. It was delicious and the bubbles are quite chewy which is good as I like it "qq" Can't wait to stop by next time!

I got the Mochi Bobo drink and it was super powdery for some reason. It felt like someone took a scoop of cocoa dust and put it at the bottom of the cup. Besides the powdery texture, the drink did taste okay and the boba had very good texture. I wish I could give a higher rating because many of their other drinks are good, but stay away from the mochi bobo one!

Really love the bubble tea here. I got the pudding and the bubbles with cream for $6. It's delicious and that's usually my dessert. This time the cream spilled on me though.

This location has a storm door where you go in and order from a window. The storm door area is a bit tight. I wouldn't really want to be inside if there's more than three people because the air don't circulate. I got the regular number one. The bubble are a bit too soft for my taste but the milk tea was good.

Great boba tea franchise. Expensive but it is satisfying to drink.

Called to place order but they said to use the online to place which I don't understand because I already have you on the phone like why can't you just take my order. Also what if people don't want to pay in advance and want to just order ahead and pay when they get there, a lot of places allow you to do that and take phone orders. I don't like waiting so I always like to call ahead to place my orders! Of course when I get there the lady was indecisive and didn't really know what she wanted so that delays the next customer that knows what they already want! I'll go to another location or bubble tea that I can order ahead next time!

Heard that they were opening up in Brooklyn and I was looking forward to trying this one out. I tried the brown sugar boba milk + pearl + tiger jelly with cream mousse. Super creamy and amazing flavor. The bubbles are really soft and chewy. But it was a little bit too sweet for my liking. They don't allow ice and sugar levels adjustments which is a bummer. They accept card!

I'm writing this review on behalf on my mom, who is a big fan of Tiger Sugar since I have already made my opinions pretty clear on their brown sugar boba. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and was pretty surprised to see there was no line considering how many people showed up for their grand opening last weekend. My guess is the crowds migrated to Moge Tee a couple of blocks down for their GO promotion. My mom regularly orders from the Manhattan Tiger Sugar location so the basis of this review is contingent on her experiences there. She was a little disappointed with the inconsistencies at this location because of the amount of ice they put in her drink, which she claimed diluted the milk flavor considerably and rendered the drink bland. She did appreciate that the boba in her drink was warm, suggesting they were freshly made, and had a good chewy texture to them.

I wanted to see what the fuss was about this place. The tea was pretty good. A bit too sweet for my taste but not too much. The bobba was nice and chewy. Would come back. I like the take our window in this time of Covid-19.

Kind of expensive for a small drink, but they are good. So I don't mind paying for it and get it once a while.

tiger sugar hype is real. love that this location is so much closer than 8th ave. tiger sugar honestly has the best bubbles (boba) hands down. i mean specifically the ACTUAL boba. they're so fresh and bouncy - never hard ! and i actually love the different sizes. their brown sugar is so good not too sweet it's just perfect in my opinion. my go to is the brown sugar boba tea option (im not a huge fan of just milk so i always get the tea version) and the coffee one is SO good too! i believe they use real espresso and it's delicious. a perfect pick me up! honestly the price isn't even that bad - you have other chains who are even more expensive and that's nuts.

Tiger Sugar is a popular bubble tea shop that has recently opened in Bensonhurst. S1 and S2 are their most popular items for those new to Tiger Sugar and unsure of what to try. Their bubble tea is on the sweeter side but has a unique flavor that tastes like espresso and caramel. I like to order in advance on Grubhub / seamless since the prices are the same.

I was so excited when I heard Tiger Sugar was opening near my neighborhood! Prior to this I was only able to purchase if I was in Flushing or Chinatown. Went on a Tuesday morning and there was a short wait time. I didn't see their full menu but they had their signature drinks posted. Drink quality is consistent with their other locations. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't tried yet!!

Scam. $6.20 for Taro drink and it isn't the size of the Mango drink. The Mango drink for $7.58 is all ice in which the employee says it's fixed.

The tiger sugar here just opened up so I decided to give it a try. There was about 4 people in line which is tiny compared to the one I normally go to in flushing. I haven't been to the one in flushing after covid but I did not realized tiger sugar had items that differed far from their regular tiger sugar staple drink. I tried the espresso bubble milk and their most popular bubble milk with mousse. The Bubble milk with mousse tasted just like their other locations so they have that on point but I was not the biggest fan of the espresso flavor. The espresso flavor did not mix too well with the drink and stood out as an individual flavor in the drink rather than a smooth mixed taste. It also tasted like it needed a bit more sweetness to curb the coffee In general tiger sugar is a bit pricey for it's drinks in terms of the size you are getting so it's not something I would get often but it's still something I'd get every now and then when I'm in the mood

Went there this week to try out this new location and it did not disappoint. The bobba was fresh and the tiger jelly was an amazing flavor I had not yet tried, it also really complimented the drink really well. This is a definite must try if you're closeby !

Loveee tiger sugar so super happy when there's one in 86st. They have a takeout window now where you just place the order and they have a barrier that opens to put your drink there. I always get their signature drink which has cream mousse and the tiny little pearl boba. They have one size only and they are known for their "tiger stripes" which is the brown sugar inside their drink. Before drinking make sure you do a shaking dance at least 15 times to get that brown sugar goodness everywhere in the drink.

2day I was in the neighborhood.. Hot summer days. Figure to buy this beverage for trying it out.. I got the Brown sugar Boba pearl with cream mousse beverage.. 1st drink to sweat in my opinion? Doesn't tasted liked the Boba ice cream.. Don't think I going To buy them again.. Maybe less sugar ? I go back with Kung fu tea?? Maybe give me some Other options beverage Not to much sugar tasted?

I was so shocked to learn that Tiger Sugar would be opening a location in Bensonhurst--just goes to show that 86th St is getting a little bit trendier. It's a very welcome addition for me to have this in walking distance. I imagine the opening of Tiger Sugar puts it in steep competition with nearby Kungfu Tea, Vivi's Tea, and Mi Tea, but quite exciting to have so many options. I'm a fan of Tiger Sugar's signature brown sugar boba milk + pearl with cream mousse. I first had it when I was in Taiwan and it's a bit of a hit to the wallet to be spending $6 for a cup here in the States, but it's a nice treat when you want to indulge a sweet tooth.

TLDR; This recently opened around my neighborhood and with renewed curiosity for their bubble tea hype, I decided to look for it and give it a go. Finding it was easy (as long as you have a phone and Google maps... And if you know their store front would be a black awning!) and with my luck, there was no line to order (just a short wait for getting the goods). The menu was easy to read and what better drink to try then their signature right? So I ordered and it was quite pricey - $6 with tax for a standard cup of bubble tea and jelly (or maybe that's the normal price. I dunno, I don't often splurge on outside drinks). I ordered it hot and unlike other places, sugar levels are non-negotiable. When my order was available, I went up, gave the receipt to the cashier and got my drink. I took a few photos to show my friends and within seconds, I plunked the straw into the cup (honestly, this was one of the easier cups to put my straw into which is a plus already) and took my first sip of this infamous bubble tea. And honestly? I don't get the hype. The bubbles are softer than others and the size definitely made it easier to chew but in general, the tea was too sweet for my liking. For something I paid $6 for, I was kinda disappointed. I thought it was good but it didn't blow my mind like I had expected it to. Would I get it again? Probably not unless my friends who loves it wanted one. But if I were to pass by and craved milk tea? I'll probably pass by this store without a second glance and head straight towards a bakery for their $2, negotiable sweetness milk tea.

I love tiger sugar but they only have one size and they don't do customizations like extra boba. It's 6 dollars for a basic drink. Would definitely come more often if it wasn't so overpriced.

It's no surprise that bubble tea is delicious, but something about Tiger Sugar's bubble tea is truly addicting. I was so excited that this location opened up because it was easier for me to get to and I've heard so many good things about it but never tried it myself. Well, once I had my first cup, I was sold. It's so simple yet so complex, I only wish the sizes were bigger! One of my favorite things that they do is the inclusion of two different bubble sizes--gives a nice feel. It's so good!

I managed to catch them on opening day (9/20) and during the time of when the line was only a couple people long, and the wait for the drink was only five minutes. It's pretty quick, but I can see crowding being an issue when waiting for your drink. The drink is the same as other locations. You're not really getting the tea, you're getting it for the texture of the boba. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk and ora Pearl with Cream Mousse. I don't like boba at all, but this place, is the only place where I do like it. They accept credit cards!

Stopped by earlier today and was craving milk tea with pudding. My bf ordered the #5 and I wanted the just milk tea with pudding no bobba. The kid at the register kept saying so just milk with pudding? At first I didn't quite understand what he was talking about and then realized he was talking about the #5. I didn't ask for any substitution on the #5. I kept saying no and that I would like a milk tea with pudding. Then he refers me to the #T5 which was like a cheese foam milk tea. I really just wanted regular milk tea with the pudding so at that point I said forget it. Place the order for the #5. I had to go across to Vivi to get it. They make it the way I like it. It's just that I haven't had a drink from Tiger since Taiwan and wanted to try if it's as good as I remembered.In the end, I'm disappointed in the service. They even got the order wrong. My bf's drink came without bubbles. After all that frustration and the order wasn't even correct.

Decided to stop and get a drink as I was walking past since I haven't had brown sugar boba in a long time. They don't have many selections compared to the nearby Vivi's and Kung Fu tea, which is fine since they're known for their brown sugar drinks. But the one thing I don't like from this place is that you can't change the ice level. I understand that you can't change the sugar level since their signature drink is brown sugar boba, but the ice level?! That's ridiculous in my opinion, they literally just have to scoop less ice. If you've never had brown sugar boba, then maybe it's worth giving it a try. But honestly, it's nothing really special.

I tried their flagship bubble milk and some other of their most popular drinks. The Bubble milk was pretty mediocre and basic tasting. Nothing wrong with it but just honestly not for me. I thought it was a tad too sweet but they provide different sugar levels. To be honest, a bit pricey for it's drinks because the sizes are not worth the price. It's not something I would get often but it's still something I'd get occasionally when I'm feeling in the mood. There are better places elsewhere.
