Tiger Sun is a fun twist to your "let's meet for drinks" social outing - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Tiger Sun is a cool way to switch up your "let's meet for drinks" social outing. Housed in a vintage bus in the back parking lot of Muchacho, this Reynoldstown omakase-style cocktail bar looks like a ’70s time capsule—shag carpet, a lava lamp, and fuzzy white chairs. Since it’s a literal bus, it’s close quarters, so it’s perfect for a date night or a catch-up with someone you don’t mind touching. It’s $75 per person and includes four fun and creative cocktails (like a Japanese whiskey topped with a fluffy ball of cotton candy to sweeten it up) paired with a small bite of food (like a juicy birria potsticker). Food Rundown Cocktail Omakase Each experience consists of four courses. The menu changes quarterly and always has a theme based on a movie, like Karate Kid. There are two versions of the menu each night, featuring completely different drinks and small bites. If you're here with a partner and don't mind sharing, get both versions to try more things. Plus, if you’re not a fan of a course (for example, we love the cream cheese-washed gin and mezcal drink, but it might be too smoky and strong for some), you can swap with you tablemate. photo credit: Tabia Lisenbee-Parker photo credit: Tabia Lisenbee-Parker photo credit: Tabia Lisenbee-Parker photo credit: Tabia Lisenbee-Parker photo credit: Tabia Lisenbee-Parker Pause Unmute" - Juli Horsford

Where to Find Tiny Martinis In Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"An 18-seat omakase cocktail bar tucked in a bus behind Muchacho, offering a four-course cocktail-tasting menu. Offerings change regularly; the current lineup, called "Banzai!," includes a lychee martini–style drink that incorporates plum wine and yuzu." - Caroline Eubanks

Cocktail Bar Inside a Vintage Tour Bus Opening in Reynoldstown | Eater Atlanta

"Opens November 20 behind Muchacho in Reynoldstown and is housed inside a vintage tour bus. Described as an "omakase-inspired" cocktail experience with only 18 seats and themed courses of cocktails and light bites. The opening menu is inspired by the 80s classic Karate Kid and offers two menus to choose from: Wax On and Wax Off; menu themes will change throughout the year. Reservations are available now." - Henna Bakshi

Tiger Sun is a total hidden gem in Atlanta! The ambiance is stunning—dark, moody, and upscale with the perfect vibe for a night out. Whether you're out with friends or on a date, this place delivers. The cocktails were creative and absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome the entire night.

I have been here twice now and can say this is just a really fun experience. If you enjoy craft cocktails, or just even something different than the usual fine dining scene GO! You will not regret it. Onto the details! (without giving too much away). Prepare for like a tasting menu of cocktails. The times I have been there have been 4 cocktails, each paired with a bite of food, and an amuse-bouche. The experience is themed around a 70s-90s cult classic movie that rotates a couple times a year. So far I have been to Karate Kid and Pulp Fiction. They try to do everything they can to lean into the themes, which makes for some really fun drinks (and glasses). It takes about an hour and a half and there are add-ons as well, I would always recommend the bump, and they probably will too. If you are a big drinker you can supplement with an additional craft cocktail, which are also delicious. If you are a light weight no worries, the standard menu will treat you just right. The food bites are usually really good for what you would expect out of a taco joint in a bus... Think a mix between bar food and fine dining while trying to adhere to the theme. All together really good flavors and fun bites. The service, atmosphere, food, and drinks are all top notch. It is just a really fun night, this spot makes for a great date night. Let loose, get into it, and have a great time. Some tips: It is two to a table, probably not the place to crowd in with 12 of your friends, although apparently the later serving can get rowdy. Get the bump Bring someone you feel comfortable sharing with It is very red If Tiger Sun actually reads this please add Tron to your theme list! I will be back

Google
This is the coolest experience. Reservations will open this Tuesday, 5/13 for their Pulp Fiction themed menu. No where else can you get a cocktail omakase. Don’t eat before you go because you will get more than enough food. Lesson learned!!

Loved this place! We Went for a date night and really enjoyed it. It’s only four courses but they change every few months with whatever theme they create themselves. Loooved the Pulp fiction theme that’s currently on menu. The food was so well correlated and creative to the movie AND delicious and upscale. The experience was intimate and despite the food being small bites, they were well portioned & delicious. Seating and atmosphere were lovely! They kept our water glasses full at all times and were considerate of my food allergy. The substitutes were not as good unfortunately & Gratuity was automatically included on our bill but nothing that we wouldn’t try again.

Tiger sun was a really fun dining experience. It's located on a remodeled bus behind Muchacho. I snagged a reservation for one but was seated with someone. The menu is a prefix with a drink pairing and there are two menu options. Some items I loved but others weren't my cup of tea. The menu theme changes periodically. Right now the theme is Karate Kid. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back

Google
Cool cocktail 'themed' Omakase experience. The whole thing takes place on a comfortable, but small retrofitted bus complete with shag carpet and fuzzy pink chairs. The creativity of their first theme 'karate kid' shown through and was evident in the service and atmosphete. Evidentally they will be changing this a few times yearly to present a new experience for returning customers. If you can get reservations and like interesting food pairings with cocktails, atmosphere and service, you will love this place.

Google
One of the best fresh experiences in Atlanta, fully themed by film (we went to the first one which was the karate kid). The “building” is a 60s regional charter bus but you would never know while sitting inside. 4 courses of light food paired with 4 drinks. We added a cavier bump and you can also add more cocktails if you like.

We came opening week and it was a wonderful experience. The whole vibe is fully thought out. It’s four “courses” of drinks with food bite pairings. All the drinks were great and the side bites were perfect compliments to your drink! The service was attentive and friendly. It’s definitely a unique experience and something that’s not really found in Atlanta. Lovely date night experience. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Yelp
Tiger sun was a really fun dining experience. It's located on a remodeled bus behind Muchacho. I snagged a reservation for one and ironically was seated with another yelp elite. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back

Yelp
Overall a great experience at this omakase style cocktail bar. It's a decked out coach bus with really thoughtful service but didn't think the drinks were very strong and the food wasn't very memorable. Overall would return especially when they rotate out their theme/featured movie that they base their menu on. Definitely should check it out for date night or a fun night with friends.
