"Tiki Tango takes the holidays to the tropics with its inaugural festive pop-up. Expect twinkling lights, tropical tunes, plenty of rum-soaked cocktails like the hot buttered rum, and even a special food menu throughout December. Open regular bar hours." - Beth McKibben

My wife and I are big fans of tiki bars and she surprised me with a gift certificate for Christmas. Cute place in midtown, we went there early because we wanted to check it out and relax on a cold day in Atlanta, 30°, for happy hour. Drinks were great, food was great! Nice ambiance! We will go back with a group next time, I bet late night is probably a lot of fun!

Our server, Phi was AMAZING! Super helpful with drink choices and showed me around the 3 different levels since I had never been and was debating having a group gathering there. The drinks were decorative and strong. The small plates were delicious especially the fries! Overall great atmosphere! We will be back!! I’d love to see more creative drink stirrers (like the ones from three dots and a dash in Chicago) and prices listed for the large drinks (6-8 people ones) but other than that it was great!

The ambience is really nice and it is tucked away. The food was good but the salmon on the tacos had a little too much salt. The seafood dip was amazing. I loved how the drinks are served. If you know Midtown parking is a bit expensive in the garage across the street. I wish they could offer vouchers for parking or for the first 2 hours.

This place was amazing. The staff gave me a full walkthrough for my food review. The drinks were terrific I would definitely visit again. The only issue was the smell from the sewer. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The pu pu platter was a hit. You can see my full video review on Tik Tok and Instagram myrecipesforsuccessatl

I stumbled upon Tike Tango while walking through the area for my first time. It looked intriguing, so I stepped inside. It's such a fun venue with great decorations and theming throughout. It feels very comfortable, and I would definitely recommend coming here with an intimate group of friends for a light-hearted evening. The drink I had was delicious too, and the bartenders were very helpful and kind.

I've been here for a Halloween bar crawl 2 years in a row but this was my first time going for an actual sit-down meal with friends. It was currently decorated for its Christmas pop up bar and it was super adorable. It's normally a dark, dimly lit, eclectic bar with a dance floor and DJ at night but if you can come for Christmas, it's a whole different vibe. We were too early to try the holiday menu but was fine because the regular menu was already amazing. If you're with a group and don't mind sharing a drink, grabbing one of the shared vessels is your best option. We tried the Volcano Bowl. Nothing beats flaming food and it was just enough for the 3 of us to share. A few great dishes to share with a group would be the crab rangoon dip, sliders, wings, and flamingo fries.

Awesome tiki bar. Perfect tiki vibe, large drink selection and some food options. Multiple floors. Came at 7pm and got our drinks very quickly. They are also open late! We will def be back. Some of the group sharing drinks aren't available right now which is understandable.

The Tiki Tango was a really cool place with a great atmosphere but the taste of the drinks didn’t take us away to any tropical place. I had the fog cutter which is billed as a “boozy concoction” so I should have known that it would taste like medicine. My wife had the appropriately named Tiki Tango and it did not have those sweet tropical flavors like she was expecting from the description. The drinks were so strong and expensive that we didn’t need to or want to have another. If you’re looking for a fun kitschy place with stiff drinks this is the place. If you’re looking to get those island flavors then I’d pass.
