Time and Tide

This review is for Amber and Cassius! I had called a week or two ago inquiring about the tattoo process and everything it entails, as this would be my first piece. Cassius was extremely kind and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail and answer the million questions I had as a first timer. The shop is so beautiful but also a very chill environment that's quite welcoming. The art and jewelry pieces for sale up front were all very pretty and nice to look at while I waited for my artist to set everything up. I also really liked the fact that there were private suites for the artists. I'm super anxious in social settings, so not having to lay on the table in front of random people was a HUGE plus and made it all the more enjoyable! I connected with Amber via Instagram after falling in love with her art style and she was able to draw up the perfect tattoo. She was more than happy to make any adjustments and other tweaks as well. Amber took the time to walk me through the stenciling process and how everything else works. The process itself wasn't bad at all and she was very kind! She was more than happy to answer my questions regarding the healing and aftercare to make sure my tattoo stays nice and fancy. Definitely a great person to have as your artist. She even said I sat like a champ. Once this piece heals, I will definitely be back for more with her! I cannot recommend Time and Tide enough. Amazing place! I brought my 16 year old daughter to see Cheryl for her first tattoo. She did such a great job. Such a nice and relaxing parlor!

I got a tattoo with Charissa. She was literally amazing! The environment was safe and comfortable. She also ensures that her clients are happy with the artwork and creates an original piece. I would highly recommend getting a tattoo with her :)

Carissa did an amazing job on this “sugar skull” bull. She took my idea and brought it to life. Not only is she an amazing artist but her chair side manner is so comforting. If you are worried about pain Carissa is your gal! All the artists at this shop deserve 5 stars. You cannot go wrong here!

I see Cheryl and she has given me such beautiful artwork. Everybody at the shop is so friendly. I love the atmosphere of the shop with all the plants in their lobby.

Loved this place! The vibe is so relaxed and my tattoo artist Charrisa (Chorizo) made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She explained everything every step of the way. Would definitely recommend to anyone but especially if it’s your first tattoo.

Amazing work by Cassius - can't compliment him enough. Before the visit, they were so communicative and willing to make as many drafts as we needed to get to the design I wanted. He spent extra time on making something that looks incredible and was super flexible with changes I made and unmade to our schedule. Incredibly, he did this all in one sitting that was around 8 hours! The shop is a really friendly and open environment. Gorgeous spot and the other artists were really great to interact with as well!

Last Thursday, I went there with a friend to get my septum pierced, and she was gonna get her smiley pierced. The guy who did our piercing seemed to just have started working there, and he had his own tools, he was a very nice guy to talk to, but he was very rough when he was piercing my septum and the needle came out, and he had to redo it again, and after he put on the piercing, I looked in the mirror and at the moment the piercing seemed OK but after two days The piercing started to feel weird and I’ve had the septum piercing before this was my third time getting it, but the placement felt uncomfortable. I went to another tattoo shop to get it removed and it took them almost an hour to take it off because the jewelry that was put in my nose was so small that they couldn’t grab it to be able to take it off and unscrew the ball. I am disappointed because I really wanted to keep in my septum this time, but I had to remove it once again. And I paid almost $90 plus the tip I had given him.

I asked Colin to create me. A Deadpool meets say anything tattoo. I told him some of the elements I was looking for and told him he could put his own artistic spin on it . He took on the challenge and hit it out of the park. I'm absolutely floored with how gorgeous this tattoo is. The colors are spot on. He gave me exactly what I was looking for. The pictures do not do it justice. I absolutely love his new location. The vibe is great. I love all the plants and the artwork. I have several tattoos from throughout the years and I will continue to go to him.
