Fun little spot. 2 stages for music. 6 sure if the stage we were at was newer or what, but the 2 bars in that area did not have most of what we wanted, so we had to go over to the other bar. Great band, Ty Ellis and the Flatliners.

First time in this establishment and it’s my last. I ordered a double strawberry marg from the male bartender with tattoos. Very rude for no reason. Will not ever be back. Go have fun at the landing… way better spot. At least they have good drinks

Sat down waited for a server for 20 minutes. Moved and waited for food for at least 45 minutes. Still waiting… bartender was also coughing and eating at the bar. Also couldn’t get a side of sour cream because he was too busy playing on his phone.

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at a restaurant. Wusso was our server and is hands down 100/10 the best server ever. Before we had him, we had a terrible experience at Tin Roof. Bartenders are always rude (especially male African American bartender with a cutoff shirt and literally every female bartender has a bad attitude). Wusso was professional, prompt, kind, and very helpful with all of needs that were not met previously. Live music was WAY too loud and not needed for a Saturday afternoon. Food was soggy and dry at the same time (not sure how that is possible). The drinks though were perfect! The outdoor bar smelled like vomit and had gnats and flies, would not recommend sitting out there.

Some girl with pink hair told us we COULDNT pay 10$ cover each to go down and enjoy the last 30 min of the DJ. There were four of us, so they refused $40 profit at the end of the night that we were more than willing to pay. It was really weird and she honestly wasn't very nice about it. I was with my three black friends, not sure if that had anything to do with it or not but it felt uncomfortable. I'm from Chicago and we have a Tin Roof there as well, there's no way they'd ever turn down making an extra $40 worth of cover for the last 30 min of the night... on a SUNDAY.

The food was good! The atmosphere was ok. Televisions with one sporting event are shown on all of them. The BBQ was good. The BBQ beans lacked flavor! The waitress was attentive and extremely polite! It was actually a quick meal, as needed! The floors ate clean along with the tables. Way too pricey for the amount of portion! That was really disappointing! Probably won't eat here again, but we tried it!

Food has good flavor but nothing is spicy. They advertise Nashville hot chicken but nothing is hot about it, not even a little. Service is hit or miss at the outdoor bar, bartenders are usually on their phone and if you sit at a table outside you wait forever to get your order taken. The side of the bar closest to the entrance smells awful. So many spilled drinks right there and not sure what else makes it smell like throw up. They need to throw some hot soapy water or bleach water over the area every day so it doesn’t smell so bad, they do nothing but let it get worse and worse. They do not wipe down the bar area in general and all the cups and to go containers are dirty from sitting outside without proper coverage. We went inside to get to go containers. Also, the last time I was there they had 2 dead birds just laying in the outdoor seating area.

We went for Xtreme Bingo on a Thursday night. We went inside and my only complaint was it was hot. There wasn't any air movement in our area. KC is in one of those day-to-day periods on AC being needed. It cooled off when the sun moved and we had a great time!

I went for a private event in their back room. The ambiance was just a little off - the lighting was too bright for a bar scene & the music volume kept getting adjusted to either too loud or not loud enough. After the event, we had drinks + apps in the main bar area. No complaints at all about service. The fried pickles were fresh & perfect temperature & came out quickly. A band was also playing. Definitely a good place for live music! The bathrooms were dirty & some locks were broken on the stall doors.

Stopped by last minute to watch the Chiefs game. Super cool setup outside with the BIG screen and a DJ that played during commercials. Had some wings and drinks, service was great, vibe was great, we will be back!

We came here on a Thursday night specifically to play trivia. My friends and I do a trivia night about once a month and often try different venues. We got there around 6:30 to get a booth. It was gross underneath the table -- the floor was kind of wet and there were several used napkins wadded up under it. It wasn't busy when we first arrived, but almost every table was full by the time trivia started at 7. I ordered a Jim Beam and diet and a friend ordered one of their speciality drinks (which also contains Beam). We were told that they might be out of Beam. I don't really care specifically for Beam, but I was wanting a cheap bourbon drink. They finally found what was possibly the last bottle of Beam (which is featured in their menu) because they might be discontinuing it. Mind you, this is right before Memorial Day weekend. Maybe don't feature a certain type of liquor on your menu if you're discontinuing it? Our server was actually great and she did her best to make up for the bar gaffe. She was prompt and kept the drinks flowing... probably the only reason I'm not giving this joint 1 star. I decided to order some nachos (one of a few vegetarian items on the menu). The chips were kind of stale, they were chintzy with the cheese and sauce, and they left something to be desired. They definitely could have used more pep, more sauce and more cheese to be called "Sloppy Nachos". This place was already "meh" but it got worse. When trivia started, they didn't really turn down the background music, making it extremely hard to hear the host over the mic. To make things worse, the trivia host was a mess. One of my friends thinks he'll be featured on Dateline as a serial killer in the next 5-7 years. He was all over the place and clearly liked to hear himself speak (thankfully we couldn't hear half of it). With the dismal food, weird drink menu situation, dirty floors and poor trivia hosting, I will not be back. Thankfully our sever was the only saving grace.

Ok. I love this place because it's always a good atmosphere. But today was the worst service ever. I literally was looked at by this server... she said "I'll be right with you " the whole football game passed and NOT ONCE ..Not once did she come to our table. I got up to order drinks and to order food at the bar. To me it's just crazy how she still made eye contact with us and still didn't come to us. I get it's a busy place ...but come on NOT ONCE!!! Severs like this make a good place look bad. Smh !! #horrible server !!!!

my friends and I wanted to find a nice patio to sit outside on a warm day. Bartender and service were great! But this terrible sewage smell kept lingering by the patio bar. We got our round of drinks and had to tab out, it was so bad!

I cannot speak for what goes on in here on the weekends because I am terrified of the lines down the block and the insane sports watch parties that you can hear all the way down the block. However, I can say the food is stupid good. If you aren't eating at Tim Roof, you're doing it wrong. Highly recommend participating in Intelligence Check Trivia on Thursday nights, and that's a great opportunity to stuff your face with hot honey chicken tenders, fried pickles, and ranch. It's insanely good. Their appetizers, burgers, and tacos are so good, and the brunch menu is small but killer as well. I do have a distinct memory of one of my friends having to basically wring out her chicken taco because it was so wet, but the taste was great.

Honestly the worst bar I have EVER been to. I wouldn't go back even if someone paid me. The staff was so incredibly rude, the bathrooms were so disgusting and dirty, none of the stalls had toilet paper and they just opened! Back to the staff, tried to order a drink and the lady rolled her eyes and poured my drink. She then proceeded to make it wrong! I asked where the bathrooms were and she completely ignored me. The live music was also terrible. Hurt my ears so bad. The vibe was so off too it made me uncomfy. Even the security was rude and made me so uncomfortable as well. I thought they were there to protect? One of them was flirting with me and even tried putting his hands on my waist. Overall I had a horrible time and wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Beers and drinks always good but can't sit on patio cuz it smells so bad....really hope the fix it

Sat at the outside container thingy when you first walk in. Service and bartender was amazing. The smell though???? RANCID!! I almost got kicked out for gagging. I wasn't even drunk, it just smelled like pure sewage. I really wanted to enjoy the nice weather.

Favorite time to go is Sunday for day drinkIng. It's a great local music joint with all the genres. I have been thoroughly impressed with all of the talent they are recruiting for this new place. I was here when they first opened and things were a little bit rough on staffing. Came here again two months later and things were so much better. Which makes me so happy because I want this to be a staple in Westport. As a music junkie, this is a huge addition to our metro for local bands to play. Even better that it's in Westport and centrally located. I like how they decorated the outside with the turf, it gives it that great game day feeling for Sunday football. Well the inside has its own vibe. I like a lot of thought went into curating the space. Loaded tots are to die for! Had them every time I've stopped here.

Welcome to the party. This corporate nightlife concept isn't complicated. A band that plays your favorite songs performs inside. If that's not your bag, you can walk outside and enjoy an expansive patio and faux lawn. A couple of bars, one inside a modified shipping container, have all the ingredients to pour your favorite drinks. A menu full of bar food-themed dishes, I like the burgers, helps soak up the alcohol. Be prepared to have a good time. Please pace yourself.

Awesome Buffalo Chicken Wrap, tots and ranch. 10/10. The atmosphere is great as well, ate outside and watched the big screen, listened to live music.

So far so good! You can't go wrong with good service, good drinks and a good DJ when you're "day drinking". IJS Kyle (bartender) was great. If we hadn't just come from brunch, we would have ordered vittles! While sitting at the bar, someone said, "beer makes you smart". Of course I said, how? he said, because if Bud makes you wiser (Budweiser). ‍

I don't typically go to Tin Roof for live music like it's known for, but they host a super fun trivia night with Intelligence Check! I highly recommend trying the watermelon margarita - really delicious! All of the food I've tried has been a hit. I usually go for the chicken tenders tossed in the hot honey sauce. They are big so be prepared! The crinkle fries are awesome as well. The tacos have been very drippy in the past so we usually stick with burgers or tenders. I recently tried the brunch as well - the breakfast burger was stacked!! We also tried the breakfast burrito which was delish. They do not skimp on the meat! Service is usually quick and good, no issues on the weekdays that I've been.

Pass on This One! Service was awful, tables were so sticky we shared our lunch with bee's all afternoon, food was sub-par and drinks were weak. Beer selection is lame and did I mention bad service... we had to track our server down multiple times and had to order things again and again to remind her she forgot it! When I made my reservation I was told live music, there was none, they FORCED us to spend over $500 and our server gave herself a 22% tip and when I told Marlon, the manager I was not going to pay the bill until this is addressed he ran it anyways and told me "there is nothing I am going to do about that" Susan at Corporate was not much help either! Just PASS on this one!!!

Excellent service and menu items. Great DJ on Saturdays. Drinks are great, I recommend the Chiefs Drink it's 32 ounces of glory.

I really wanted to love this place, at first walk up the vibe was great with live music and indoor/outdoor seating with the option of hearing the music every place, but the bar service was less then great. I ordered a beer, and a cocktail which was super sweet. They didn't offer any other options when I let them no the flavors were extremely sweet and syrupy. just needed up taking the beverage and didn't drink it. The atmosphere seems cool but they should work on customer service.

We had a young man by the name of Anthony as our server. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE EXCELLENT! Our original server who was a young lady did not treat us up to our standards but Anthony took over and made our experience worthwhile! Very apologetic and sincere for our trouble. Talked to us about our day and made sure our food and drinks came out fast and fresh. Our Chicken Tacos were soggy and had too much cilantro and our tenders were a bit dry - so I would not recommend those food items here. However, the service more than made up for it. There was a younger crowd but Anthony made us feel right at home and made sure our drinks (which were also very average and over priced) came always at the right moment. Would highly recommend him as your server or bartender if you go to this establishment. Some of the food is of not good quality and the drinks are drinks just overpriced. The atmosphere was very nice, they have an outside patio which we sat on.

We liked the food and the drinks here. We had the cheeseburger and the southern cheeseburger. Both were very good. For drinks we had the ice teas with peach snaps. They were excellent.

Nashville - meet KC. KC - meet Nashville. I hadn't seen any advertisements for this place opening up, so I didn't know what to expect when a friend suggested it on a Friday night. This place is AWESOME! Outdoor setup with a shipping container bar and multiple different seating areas, a large indoor bar, dance floor, and even upstairs seating overlooking the stage. We saw two performers (end of one set, start of another) and both were incredibly talented. I hope they continue to bring in great talent to keep people like me coming back. I think this will turn into a "must hit" for KC visitors who are looking for live music.

Came here on Saturday for my friends birthday for bottomless mimosas from 11 AM until 3 PM!! They have multiple juices to choose between which was nice! Also it was only $15!!! What a steal! The service was a little bit slow but it was a nice day outside so we didn't mind too much. Definitely recommend coming here and chilling outside with your friends! They were also playing a good mix of old and new pop music that wasn't too overbearing.

Dylan was our server and he was fantastic! Food was great, trivia was a blast, and the service was the best!

Y'all gotta check this place out! They have one of my favorite drinks in town! It's called a "Crush" and is made with fresh squeezed juice. I believe they have five or six different flavors and they're ALL amazing. I'm not a huge key lime flavor gal, but this drink with that flavor is soooo good. Go check this place out and get yourself a Crush! Tasty and gets the job done!

Aaron the bouncer was very aggressive with me. I asked for my food that I ordered to go which was thrown away by staff, when I asked for assistance he became very aggressive caused me to have a bruise on my leg and a cut on my elbow. Very disappointed by how staff handled this. Felt very unsafe and filed a police report.

Would do 0 stars if I could, as we were illegally denied service with a service dog.

0 stars. Well deserved. I've never met a single person that worked there and was nice. The service is crap, everyone acts like they are above you, and the entire vibe is uncomfortable. Don't waste your time.

Came here for quick drinks on Tuesday. They were having trivia night & the dj/hype guy was very good at his job. It made for an eventful night even though I suck at trivia games. Drinks were decent. Our bill came to around $70 for 6 people. We only had a drink or 2. Atmosphere was diverse & pretty spacious area. I guess it use to be the McCoys.

The person before me in line for the restrooms threw up "everywhere" and I got thrown up everywhere. I did nothing wrong besides try to go and have and good time, but I didn't even do anything wrong and I got thrown out. Horrible derives and they do not care about actually service.

Awesome! The live music here is insane. Their drinks were super reasonably priced and the food looked good but we didn't have any. The outdoor patio is pretty big and there are multiple large TV's. Can't wait to come back!

The salsa was the best in town hands down, but the best part of the experience was our bartender, Nina! She was amazing! So on top of things and handmade me a strawberry margarita that was so delicious! Definitely Recommend!

I watched the bartender, take a fry off of someone's plate before the server served it. That literally put a bad taste in my mouth. Do not eat off my plate you nasty mofo who's cleaning a bar with a dirty rag.

My daughter and her friends went to Tin Roof on Saturday for a birthday celebration. By the end of the evening, 2 friends had their phones pickpocketed out of their back pockets and 5 had their wallets stolen. Westport is not the safest area but owners need to take some Control over what is happening inside this bar!

The line to this place was an hour and a half on New Year's Eve and when we finally got in ($20 cover), it was just like any other run-down college bar. It was supposed to be part of a bar crawl, but we ended up only going to two spots because it took so long to get in here. The payoff for all that waiting was the worst drinks I've had since college--the only difference was these drinks were seven times more expensive. This bar was my biggest disappointment of 2023, and probably will be for 2024 too. If you are thinking about going to this place, you should also consider just staying home and drinking alone or doing absolutely nothing because, in hindsight, I would have had a much better time staring at an empty wall for three hours sober than going here. That was the last time I celebrate NYE at a bar.

Extremely rude waitress. Openly dropped F bombs to our group when she was upset that we were asking to order food and split the tabs (5 tabs altogether). 4 of us were ordering food and she asked if we wanted to pay right now. We assumed she asked us this possibly to make it easy for her or something.... So we said 'sure!' Our friend had his card out pretty fast and she took it and walked away before the rest of us could hand her our cards. When she came back, she handed my friend an 'amount owed' receipt that was obvious she put everything on his tab. We asked her super nicely if she could split the tabs and that we weren't expecting her to charge everything to our friend's card - we literally all were ready to pay with our cards when she asked. She told us 'you can just Venmo him, it's not that ****ing difficult' and walked away. When she came back to grab her copy of the receipt, we asked her for an itemized receipt showing us the drinks and food we had gotten so that way we could *vEnMo* our friend like she told us to (news flash, not everyone has Venmo). She said 'we don't do that' and told us we would have to find the manager if we wanted one. So ultimately we didn't know what we were all charged for or how much we owed our friend. When we got our food, she set the plate in front of my friend who had just paid for everything and said 'does everything look okay to you??? Or do I need to go and have a talk with my kitchen??' - extremely sarcastically and completely uncalled for. The 9 of us left as soon as we could and we all refuse to go back.

No soul. Another demon has been planted in my beautiful once greasy and great pirate Westport. This bar has live covers of country music and maroon 5 ? I guess? No local beers(lol????) and the cocktail I ordered for my gf - I watched the drone pour - had a half shot of vodka. Not to mention 2 drinks cost me $30. We don't need more chains and basic Johnny Kaws bull**** in Westport. Oh well. I wouldn't go here again if I was offered free drinks for a month. Hard pass.

Went here for an event and the bouncers and bartenders were both really rude to everyone I talked to. They were yelling/talking down to everybody, to the point that people stopped buying drinks and stayed on the dance floor so that they didn't have to deal with it. Seems pretty in line with other reviews on here too. The venue was cool, but super dirty. The people hosting the event were nice but everyone actually tied to Tin Roof was unpleasant to deal with.

Brett the bouncer inappropriately groped my friend while we were waiting in line. We were all 21 years of age. He lifted up her dress and felt her behind extremely aggressively. Will never be going back as it resulted in making my friend extremely uncomfortable to the point where we did not even want to go inside anymore. Never go here. Don't even want to give a star but yelp us making me. Never go here if you are a woman.

Fun, live music bar. Open layout with outdoor and indoor areas. Long line on a Saturday night, but a fun place to hangout with a group of friends!

Summer time is the best time to be here to enjoy the outdoor patio. But they always have live music playing inside so it's always a good time year round. Great place to hangout with people.

Fun atmosphere. 9/9/23 at 12:40. Sat down and watched our server look at us then walk by us minimum 10 times and we sat there for 30 minutes without being offered water or help of any kind. Server was just talking to the bar tender the whole time

Bottomless mimosas on Saturday's with live music! Great venue and a good vibe! Defiantly more places like this are needed for KC!
