Georgetown never disappoints! There are so many great options, and Tinte is my latest investment. I say investment because of my time, and I joined the wine club.
Nice and comfortable interior, but the pro tip is to sit in the back. There is a fire pit as the nights start to chill slowly. Plenty of space for large parties is available to rent out for events.
The wine selection was great, with approachable and reasonably priced bottles. I did a full tasting along with the veggie flatbread. The testing selections were good to great, with the highlights being the Irish Eyes and Viognier. The Irish Eyes has wonderful notes and a peppery finish from the Syrah grapes. Viognier was smooth and chewy, as good as some Sauternes I've had.
I joined the four-bottle-wine club--one selection each quarter, at a 20% discount per bottle. My wine tasting was free, and the flatbread was 20% off.
The flatbread was loaded with veggies and balsamic, but I found the bread a bit dry and cracker-like. It needs to rise and could use a bit of sauce or something else to wake it up.
Otherwise, a very good experience, and I will be back at least quarterly to enjoy new wines and great service.
