"Sometimes, a trip to the park is really just a trip to stand in one spot for two hours while your dog goes berserk chasing a stick. Afterwards, you should bring her to Tippe & Drague Alehouse. It’s like a park, only with fewer grassy areas, and beer you’re allowed to drink in an open container. Keep in mind that they don’t serve food out on their patio, but if you decide to drop the dog off at home before you eat, you’ll find great burgers here." - Aimee Rizzo

"Tippe And Drague is the chill Beacon Hill neighborhood hangout where you can grab a pint of beer and a plate of nachos. The staff here is really friendly, and whether or not you’re eating a full meal, you’ll get a free bowl of popcorn fresh from the popper. We highly suggest ordering the stout burger if it’s on special, and the beer mac and cheese if it’s not." - Aimee Rizzo

New favorite place! They serve popcorn and the turkey bacon tomato heated sandwich - best I’ve had! Local beers don’t hurt either! Muted TVs for those who need to keep up with their sports!

I went here in a whim while my wife was out of town. I managed to grab on of the last burgers of the day and had my first pint of Up on the Rooftop from Rooftop brewing. The burger was one of the best in town and the beer was a pleasant surprise. I will absolutely go back to another burger and random conversation.

This was the first time I've been served cold beer and hot food in months, due to quarantine.. So maybe I'm biased. The service was excellent- the beer was tasty and the selection was wide, and the food was surprisingly good. It was the first time I've ever actually enjoyed sauerkraut. I'd recommend this place as a hole in the wall for small gatherings. There isn't a ton of space, but they do a great job with what they have.

I was staying a few doors down from the Tippe and Drague. Was delighted to find it so welcoming and relaxing for a person on their own. Great atmosphere and great beer to sample. The staff made good recommendations and the food was tasty too. I sure wish my neighborhood had a little bar like this!

Great little neighborhood bar. The bartender was very friendly and they have a very solid draft selection. The night I was there, they had a tuna melt special, so I ordered one to go. I'm a big fan of tuna melts, and this one did not disappoint! I will definitely be back and would love to try some of the other food options, but if they have the tuna melt, that's what I'll be ordering! Oh, and they use real albacore tuna, unlike Subway and whatever it is that they slop on their sandwiches!

Great local bar owned by sweet people. They have delicious, healthy food that's not your average bar food but awesome just the same. Also a great rotation of beers, ciders, and even some meads. Their brunch on weekends is amazing and definitely worth trying as well.

This is our local watering hole and has been for many years. The food is great; very pub styl, and the beer selection is diverse and rotates so you can always try something new. The folks who own and operate treat you like family. They are family friendly but they aren't a Chucky Cheese so bring things to keep your kid entertained.
