I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious, perfectly capturing the authentic flavors of Sichuan cuisine. The spice level was just right, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The service was also top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience!

Speaking as a native Chinese person, this restaurant is hands down one the most authentic Szechuan restaurants in Portland! All the dishes are super tasty, flavorful and the ingredients are so fresh. I’ve been coming here almost every week and it’s turning into a dining hall for me when I miss my hometown food 😂

I’m posting this a bit late, but I wanted to leave a review to support the restaurant during its temporary closure and in anticipation of its reopening. The interior is stylish and inviting, and they serve authentic Chinese cuisine. The staff were warm, friendly, and very welcoming, which added to the experience. We enjoyed a Tap Beer alongside the following dishes: Beef & Beef Tendon in Chili ($14.99), Sichuan Spicy Fish ($23.99), Sichuan Cold Noodle ($12.99), Shredded Pork with Green Pepper ($16.99), and Steamed Rice ($1.50). Each dish was packed with bold flavors and fragrant herbs, creating a unique and deeply satisfying culinary experience. This isn’t your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant—it’s authentic Sichuan cuisine that truly stands out. I’d love to come back once they reopen.😊✨

The Honey Walnut shrimp was excellent, sauce is light, not mayo-heavy, very different. The Vermicelli was also good. Of the three Chinese restaurants in the immediate area, this is my favorite. Portions are big!

The food is soooo great. They offer very Chinese spicy food and every dish is yummy! We like to come with friends so we could taste more dishes. Its worthy to mention that it does have secret menu so pls check with the staff what are they recommending!

The family and I finally got the chance to visit this hidden gem in downtown’s dining scene, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint. If you’re a fan of Chinese takeout, either for its rich cultural appeal or its flavorful dishes, this place should be at the top of your list. Everything was truly amazing! Whether you're a student at PSU or just in the area, this spot is definitely worth a visit. While some might argue the price is a little higher than your average fast food joint, I’d counter that it is not fast food, in addition, the experience is absolutely worth it. This is one of those places where it's all about quality over quantity. My recommendation: sit down and order something familiar. Take a moment to savor the aroma before diving in. The flavors are more intricate and layered than your typical takeout, offering something deeper and more rewarding in every bite. The only slight critique I have is with the ambiance. The staff were lovely, and the food was exceptional, but the atmosphere could use a bit more depth to match the overall experience. All in all, it’s a must-try!
