I used to really like the mini tacos they served here before, but the last time I came my food was cold, which was disappointing. That’s why now I prefer to drive to Birrias & Más in Stafford, even though it’s a little far. I heard it’s the same owners and the same concept, but the seasoning and the staff over there are way better. Especially the one or two girls I always see working there on Monday mornings—they make the meat exactly how I like it: hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. (And if you leave a tip, please send it directly to the girls in the back—they truly deserve it!) Definitely worth the drive.
I’ve visited this place in Stafford a couple of times. The first time, I really liked it — the meat was well-cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. That’s actually why I was considering hiring them for an event.
However, yesterday, Thursday night, my experience was completely different. The birria tacos were burned, the meat was dry, the consommé came out cold, and it took almost 30 minutes to receive my order. On top of that, the manager treated me with a rude and arrogant attitude, which made the visit even worse.
I really hope they improve, because I know they can do better, but this last experience was disappointing.
