The Bay Area’s Most Exciting Restaurant Openings - Eater SF

"Cult-fave Cajun chicken chain Krispy Krunchy is relocating its Tenderloin operations, Hoodline reports. The chain, which was founded in 1989 and now sports about 2,500 locations across the U.S., is typically found in gas stations and liquor stores, but its Tenderloin spot has always served the spot’s wings, tenders, waffle fries, and honey-butter biscuits from a standalone location. It was in a teeny-tiny location at 93 Eddy Street, but now it’s moved into a palatial 2,000-square-foot pad at 177 Eddy Street, with a new menu that 'will include healthier options and more variety.'" - Eve Batey

Right then, listen up, because I normally can't be bothered with all this review malarkey, but blimey, the state of the grub I had the other day was so utterly dreadful, I felt it my civic duty to give you a proper heads-up. Should've done my homework, shouldn't I? Live and learn, eh? Anyway, about six hours after I'd chowed down on their so-called food, I was proper poorly. We're talking full-on food poisoning. The chicken was drier than the Sahara, and honestly, the hygiene of the gaff looked like something out of a horror film. I've never been so rough in all my days thanks to some dodgy nosh. So, a word to the wise, steer well clear of this place unless you fancy a day or two hugging the porcelain. You've been warned, it's absolutely minging and'll have you feeling right as rain... well, the opposite of that, actually.

Google
Please do not order from here. I got the worst food poisoning from it. They have terrible food hygiene practices. Don't get sick, do not order from here! Edit: after reading the response of the owner. First of all, just because your staff has a food safety certificate does not guarantee good food safety practices are being done. Secondly, how ridiculous and rude of you for telling me I got sick eating other food or telling me I got the stomach bug? This is 100% food poisoning, anyone who's had one before can tell the difference or idk look up food poisoning vs food bug symptoms via Google or call their doctor. Thirdly, It's disgusting how you the owner would blame the customer instead of taking accountability for these bad practices. Go look at the proof in your reviews, I am not the only one who has been food poisoned by your shop. If you can't own up to your mistakes and fix your issues then you clearly shouldn't own a restaurant. Your response has shown me your terrible character. I repeat again to all future customers. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.

This is some of the crunchies chicken I’ve ever had. I also appreciated the fact that the gentleman behind the counter pointed out to me which chicken he knew for a fact was Halal. That was very important to me, and I truly respect him for that. The biscuit was OK, but it was a chicken that was crispy and tasty.

Google
I love this place. The chicken is so good. I also love that part of its charm is the toss-up nature of the experience. I went in 10 minutes before close and asked for a 4 piece tender and some red beans and rice. I saw them pack the red beans and rice and thought they put it in the bag but when I got home I found that my bag contained 2 extra chicken strips, an extra honey butter biscuit, and no red beans and rice. Close enough, I guess 😂

Google
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a hidden gem for fried chicken lovers, offering a bold and flavorful Cajun-style experience. The chicken is consistently crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside, with a perfectly seasoned crust that sets it apart from other fast-food chains. Their honey butter biscuit is a must-try—soft, flaky, and slightly sweet, it complements the savory chicken beautifully. The menu also features delicious sides like Cajun fries, mac and cheese, and jambalaya, all packed with rich Southern flavors that make for a satisfying meal.

Google
I love going to Krispy Krunchy Chicken it is a real big trip the guys that take your order are very very nice and very considerate for the neighborhood they are in and all the madness on the outside don't pay any attention to that the order takers are on their toes and know about safety I always order the chicken wings the whole chicken (I really have to change my opinion about this restaurant if you like your chicken cooked in fish Grease go to this place they cook their fish and chicken in the same grease so I'm going to give this up one star because you can really taste the overbearing fish in their fried Chicken so don't go here) thank you for the management responding to my review I stand by what I say I work in the neighborhood I just went there on Tuesday and ordered me two legs hoping that I was wrong but the chicken still taste like fish and like a month ago whoever it was behind that counter it was a lady with dark hair saying that she was a manager and she admitted to saying that their chicken is cooked in fish Grease and also when I went by there Tuesday I wanted to double-check it was an African-American gentleman behind the counter and I said could I have two legs and when I got to work I tried them and it was so bad with fish Grease taste I might as well have ordered fish it was that bad and I work in the neighborhood I have to go down the street and get my chicken now because they don't fry their Chicken and fish Grease

Had a very bad experience due to food poisoning. I believe the chicken tenders were not prepared correctly. I was sick fr 24 hours until I "got rid" of everything I. My system.

Chicken is good. But could use a good space for eating. Service was ok
google avatar

Curtis C.

Yelp
*AI* "If I were in the mood for quick and tasty fried chicken, and didn't mind the occasional inconsistency with service as some customers noted, it might be worth a try. On the other hand, if consistent service and order accuracy are top priorities, I might be a bit hesitant based on some of the reviews. It sounds like a spot with a mix of hits and misses, so it could be a gamble depending on what day you visit!"

Yelp
This chicken is ok just ok at most but got the price it should be delicious...25$ for 8 pieces of chicken ?! Why would you charge so much ? The economy is bad enough that we have gas station chicken places charging more for this mediocre low grade fried chicken. Everyone should stop eating your under grown chicken parts. Stop ripping people off , your chicken isn't any good and you know it.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Expensive af compared to other krispy krunchies . Its not that good . Might as well go up the street and buy the chicken from the liquor store.

Paul H.

Yelp
Ordered 20+ dollar chicken meal. Sauce still not included.Supbar food. Had to pay for sauces. Not a fan

Yelp
Chicken plate is bomb and the pricing is excellent but the area is pretty shady so be prepared for that!!

Yelp
I'm all for Krispy Krunchy Chicken, but we picked up 8pc before closing, so the chicken wasn't very fresh. I was hungry, so I still ate it but it was a bit dry and hard. Definitely try to come when it's fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
The customer set was good they have a good selection of snacks . I ordered jambalaya it looks nothing like like the pictures it's takes on . I ored sweet and sour chicken with a biscuit and and I didn't even get my biscuit that I was told come with my chicken. I didn't get no napkins and the don't even put the chicken in a to go container. The place was cleaner than a lot of places down here in the tenderloin I was blocks for half ass food . The ones in Oakland are way better
google avatar

Yelp
Okay. This fried chicken is wildly good. Great seasoning crispy and juice af. My friend and I wanted late night food and went to halal guys. It was closed so we came here... and we were mesmerized. V good chicken. (,:

Yelp
I first visited this place after my meal from elsewhere. I browse through the posted menu and paper menu on what was offered. But this tiny place has no dining area. And we all know that the Tenderloin neighborhood is not very enchanting. Therefore, I had to think of a way to get their fried chicken to my casa. Then I saw Grub Hub do deliver. This is my first time using the food delivery service to my casa. And I chose KKC as my first meal. I ordered the 8-piece leg and thigh for $12.99 and a 6-pack of honey biscuits. I placed my order from my app, and it will take 30-35 minutes to be delivered to my place. After a 30 minute wait, Mohammed, also an Uber driver, delivered my meal in front of my place. The chickens and biscuits were still very hot with steam steaming through the bag. The thigh pieces were ginormous, which is a meal itself. The skin was crunchy and not overly battered. And the honey biscuit had a honey glazed topping. If I had to choose biscuits from any fried chicken places, I would stick with Popeye's. As a first-time user to Grub Hub, you get $5.00 off from your meal and delivery from KKC. Whatever meal you are in the mood for, take advantage of the offered specials from Grub Hub.

Yelp
This is a relatively new fast food place that I only heard of because my high school friend recommended me to check it out. Although I was planning to get a full meal at another restaurant, I decided to check this place out by splitting a 2 pc chicken order with a friend. As expected for fast food places, the price per calorie is pretty great. The meal comes with a biscuit, but it is not a biscuit. Honestly, the biscuit is more like a thick oatmeal cookie than a typical biscuit, which implies they probably ran out of the regular biscuit. Even my high school friend was asking, "what's that?" and he went here just a few hours ago. In that case, I can't say they gave the wrong order, but it would be nice to know they ran out of biscuits. As for the fried chicken, I got the drumstick which should be more tender. It was still a bit dry, and I am not surprised because it is fast food. My mouth was occasionally left dry as I swallow a bite. However, the batter is pretty flavorful and not terribly oily, unlike KFC which I last tried 7 years ago. The "biscuit" was a bit too sweet and dry as well, so while the food is seasoned decently, I had a tough time enjoying the food.

Yelp
So this was my first time having Krispy Krunchy Chicken. This is a location that had just reopened also. Here are my honest thoughts. Fried Chicken (dark mix)- it was crunchy, not as much breading as you would see on KFC's more like Popeyes. The seasoning wasn't too bad, slightly more on the salty side but not overbearing. It was good and def better than I had expected I will say. Jambalaya- it was okay. I mean, I wasn't expecting gourmet or anything but the flavors were there. All the meats in it were tender but was a bit cold, mind you, the location was only like 6 blocks away. So it was a bit surprising. Mac & Cheese- this was actually pretty delicious but..... it was a bit on the cold side too. You don't expect these to be that much lower in temperature as these are warm sides so I'm a bit stunned by that. Mashed Potatoes- not bad, was good in flavor, the gravy was fine, but..... was also on the cooler side in temperature. Honey biscuits- they are interesting. It's very sweet with the honey over the top. The biscuit itself was very crispy as it seemed maybe dry? Every bite was a dry crispy crunch(no pun either)! Don't get me wrong it's good but I prefer KFCs. I had priority delivery so I'm not sure how these sides were even cold as if it's been sitting out. You can just look at the photos and tell because there's weren't even any residue condensations on the containers. The flavors of everything were good but the experience was mediocre. I would've rated it at least 4 stars had it seemed like my sides weren't left out for a while. As I mentioned this was my first impression with Krispy Krunchy Chicken and so we will just have to wait and see if there's a second. Update** Had to update review and change rating to 4 stars as I realized it's not fair of me to lower it to 3 for one minor detail, simply because the service was indeed spectacular and food actually tasted good. Every restaurant during this pandemic is struggling, and we all need to remember that. Plus, I expected too much. Check this place out if you have the chance! Thanks!

Yelp
Super small fried chicken joint in the Tenderloin. No place to sit down and eat so really only good for people in the neighborhood. Definitely not as good as Popeye's or even KFC. It's better than Safeway fried chicken though. Fried Chicken: Got the mixed 4-piece so I could experience all the different meat types. The wing was nice and crispy. The breast was really large and full of juicy meat. The drumstick and thigh were about what you'd expect. Overall, the meat was tender but the skin was only partially crispy. Also, the spices weren't that standout. Biscuits: Was definitely not feeling this. There was some sort of strange butter-honey-flavored glaze on top that was not the consistency of butter nor honey. Needlessly sticky and not that tasty. Boudin Bite: This was fun. Like a fast food arancini with cajun flavors and sausage.

Yelp
Known to many people as "The Gas Station Chicken" finally has a store front located in the Tenderloin. This chicken lives up to the hype and in my opinion is better than the any Popeye's or KFC fried chicken. It's crispy, not greasy, there's no oily after taste. The chicken has that hint of cajun spice. The honey butter biscuits are amazing--sweet and buttery, every bite is a bite of deliciousness. Despite the location, it's worth the daytime stroll to check out.

Myesha V.

Yelp
Food was horrible .the chicken was dry. The restaurant looked like a storage room it was very dirty
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Chicken isn't bad. Better than kfc not as good as Popeyes. $20.00 for 10 bone in wings is pretty steep though.
google avatar

Douglas A.

Yelp
In the heart of the Tenderloin unceremoniously tucked into a building you might think twice about is by far the best chicken in the city! It's not fancy, but it's worth getting to. I've been there several times and it's always fresh and hot. I like the Cajun strips, with just enough spice to set them apart. You don't need dipping sauce, it's crispy outside and juicy inside and cooked perfectly. I'm told other locations are good too, but the staff here is nice, so I haven't looked anywhere else.
google avatar

Lena T.

Yelp
Underrated and surprisingly juicy and crispy fried chicken! The biscuits I was not a big fan of and the Mac and cheese was okay. I do definitely recommend the fried chicken legs and thigh!
google avatar

Cara H.

Yelp
Great chicken spot near our hotel, my family loved it! The potato wedges were huge and rolls sweet. Great neighborhood spot.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
We got it via PostMates so we did not dine in. I am not sure if this was their fault or the PostMates Delivery person's fault but I ordered Biscuits and it was not in my order. In addition, we had the 6oz mashed potatoes and had no spoon. The chicken however was fried very well. I like the crispiness of the skin as it wasn't dried and had flavor. The inside had a little spiciness which I thoroughly enjoyed as it was a kick but not overbearing.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here one drunk night, and I've been hooked ever since. It's in a sketch area, but don't be alarmed. The workers are nice! Pretty convenient since I live close by. And there arent a lot of places near me that I like to go to. This is theeee place to get your fried chicken. Reasonably priced. And the chicken is like their name, krunnnnnchhhhyyy. Unfortunately, their mash is all wrong. I don't know what it is. Not enough butter? Not enough cream? I love mash, and hope they work on it because it's such a staple to fried chicken. At least to me.... One thing they don't lack is a bam of salt haha. As much as I like my food to have a taste, I'd like to decide how much should be on my potato wedges. They tend to have a heavy hand here. But I would highly recommend getting as well. The biscuits are great, but again a little too salty. Highly recommend!

Yelp
There was a time where I was obsessed with finding the best fried chicken...so of course I couldn't ignore this nearby one-dollar-sign location. Although the walk to the neighborhood left less to be desired, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience getting the chicken (and my experience eating it lol). The employees here were very friendly and answered my question about pricing and kinds of meat (I just want dark meat, please!). Pricing was around $10 for dark meat (thighs or something - sorry, he explained but I've forgotten now). And after I made it home and started eating the chicken - wow. My craving was totally and completely satisfied. Thick pieces of perfectly fried, juicy and tender chicken... mmmmm... I'm getting the craving just remembering this! It didn't need the hot sauce to go along with it, it was already pretty perfect. I will definitely be coming back to this place for more chicken! Maybe soon!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a delivery through an online app for the first time (GrubHub). not a fan of food delivery apps actually, but this evening I made an exception due to my craving of fried chicken and I'm not in the mood of walking to Popeye on Divisadero. so, I ordered these fried chickens through the online app. the food came on time, hot, generous portions of napkins and ketchups & hot sauce without being asked for (good service). fried chickens were awesome and crunchy! the buffalo wings were really tasty and done correctly. I will visit this location in person. I like this.
google avatar

Terence T.

Yelp
You ever walked out of Popeyes crestfallen? Yes You ever walked by a KFC, looked in and feel upset? God Yes Have you had to resort to Korean Chicken? Hell yea, it's amazing but my wallet cries each time. Pavlov could use me to study the link between fried chicken in SF and sincere dejection. Ordered from here trying to rekindle my spiritual connection I had lost since moving here... it didn't disappoint Value for money is amazing, the size of the chicken pieces was very satisfying. Tenderness of the chicken, ALSO satisfying, almost too soft but we good The only thing lacking is the flavour. Good salt amounts and some attempts at flavour but for the most part, relatively plain. It just means BYOS (bring your own sauce). Would have been 5 stars if they had their own unique flavour.
google avatar

KanTwoTan O.

Yelp
I ordered a 7up Lemon Pound Cake (look at receipt) and they gave me a sprite instead... freakin $6.99 for a can of soda! Way to rip someone off! So mad! (Their Fried Chicken is soooooo gooood tho). Tried calling to let them know, however, I only got a voice greeting stating that they are not available!!!! Waste of time!!! Waste of money! Won't be going to this location! There are plenty others...
google avatar

Sonam A.

Yelp
Quite possibly the worst chicken sandwich I have had - they had one left and didn't bother to tell me how stale or old it was. It was anything but crunchy and just disgusting.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
The fried chicken is good, but the Mac is great , and the honey biscuits are addictive. Like I'm in Step 5 of my 12, and I am considering going back.
google avatar

Dee L.

Yelp
Ghetto mentality. First and last time I'll try their products. When I say ghetto mentality a general disrespectful and dismissive attitude towards most of their customers. They chicken was OK they mixed up my order and when I picked up my order and he looked at the receipt he was having issues. Very paranoid. They have an attitude like some customers are bothering them and that they're so busy and gruff who needs that nonsense for fast food. Hey this is only deep fried overly salted chicken nothing special. I'll never visit again.
google avatar

Vince L.

Yelp
I placed an order for 2 family platters through Uber eats and ultimately only received 1 family platter. I tried calling multiple times, but was never able to get a hold of someone. I called Uber eats and all they could do is apologize and discount me the $48 and . So now I'm stuck with no food while my coworkers eat...
google avatar

Huey N.

Yelp
KKC might be the best fast food fried chicken out here. The batter is the right thickness and has just enough seasoning. I usually get it delivered and it somehow travels really well versus other fried chicken I have ordered from other places. On top of all of the pros is the price point. Eight pieces of chicken is around $10. My only complaint is that it is a little salty, but whatever it is damn good.

Nhan N.

Yelp
Not consistent. The chicken is great on good days but so salty on bad days, even ketchup won't save you. I would have to throw away the crispy skin just to eat the meat, which defeats the purpose of fried chicken. Its a crapshoot every time I'm craving for fried chicken. I hope they read this review and fix their recipe soon, because Jollibee is opening up a new location 2 blocks away and I would prefer to support KKC because they seem like a local family owned location.
google avatar

FoodLover F.

Yelp
Liked it a lot. Reminded me of Popeyes with the meal deal and the sides We got a wing, a thigh, a biscuit and a side of rice and beans Everything tasted great. And the chicken was moist and crispy and perfect The clerk at the register was sweet I also like their clear bags! Today was voting day and this was near our polling location
google avatar

Misha T.

Yelp
It's fine but it's not better than popeyes which is the standard that all fast food fried chicken (and frankly all fried chicken period) is judged against. It might seem unfair to set the bar so high but it is what it is. But KKC is totally still good and if this spot is convenient for you, def give it a shot.
google avatar

Andy K.

Yelp
Fried chicken is delicious. Crispy crunchy goodness just like the name says. Biscuits and mashed potatoes are also perfect. Definitely picking up from here again. Try their sweet and sour sauce!
google avatar

Sammy O.

Yelp
Stopped on in my lunch because I seen they have a new location right in my work district. Service was great, staff was friendly and food was fresh and super good. Very personable people working here which makes it more fun to go. So far first experience was great. Highly recommend and Will be back.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Bomb as fuck . Come here when your stoned . Your welcome . You'll thank me later. I usually get the fried mixed chicken or spicy Cajun
google avatar

Brandon K.

Yelp
This restaurant serves fried chicken and tries to be a cross between KFC and Popeyes. Unfortunately, it's worse than either. Their chicken is well done - juicy, with crispy spicy breading. However that's about all they got right. I had their Mac n cheese side, and it tasted exactly like the Boyardee stuff that used to come in a can before it was discontinued. They don't have any vegetable sides besides mashed potatoes which are the highest calorie option. The "biscuit" that came with my meal was a blueberry muffin top. None of the meals have fewer than 900 calories - and that's without a side or drink, both of which cost extra! Overall, my meal cost over $11 for some tenders, a biscuit, and a side. I can get the same combo, with a cookie and a drink, two blocks down at KFC for $6.
google avatar

Sam D.

Yelp
YUM. A worthy chix alternative when you've OD'd on Popeyes. The chicken tenders are so good you don't need to douse them in sauces. Mashed potatoes better than KFC not as good as Popeyes. Fricken biscuits...so good but watch out because they are 250 calories a pop! Haven't tried the other sides so can't speak to them. It's worth noting that I found out about this place because I was standing in front of a guy on Muni who saw another guy with the Krispy Krunchy bag and they both had a love fest about how good it was. Earned media!!
google avatar

Sandra C.

Yelp
Ordered here recently and half the order did not arrive or was substituted for other items without asking us about it first. The chicken was meh. Honestly if you are craving fried chicken go somewhere else. This place only gives frustration and an underwhelming experience. We will not get anything from here again!
google avatar

Abochn D.

Yelp
I ordered chicken sandwich And trust me I have Eating chicken sandwich so many time in my life But this one is different. They put honey in my shit instead of sauce. Like wtf brh This is the worst sandwich I have Ever eaten in my life. nasty ass bread Gummy ass chicken. DO NOT ORDER THAT Sandwich. Just Take that shit out the menu,If you don't have sauce you don't have to sell that. To the owner you just lost a customer and u will lose more if u don't fix this

Yelp
I am a huge fried chicken lover. And when I talk about fried chicken, it can only be buttermilk fried chicken. Not Korean style. When talking about fried chicken, this area was lack of option. But I am happy it's not anymore. Beside KFC and some over pricing fried soggy chicken restaurant. Finally have a fried chicken that is make sense to me. And in walking distance.

Yelp
Today wanted something special since it is National Doughnut Day so sent my in-home support worker Juanita out to run down Eddy Street to pick me up some fried chicken. It was broad daylight so I did not feel guilty about sending Juanita down through the Eddy drug corridor gauntlet to get the chicken lunch. I wanted to sample their chicken so had her get me a couple of drum sticks with a side of macaroni and cheese. When she arrived there, they were out of mac and cheese so when she called to tell me so, I had her substitute the mac and cheese with their jambalaya. She made it back pronto and I sent Juanita back out to finish my shopping and pick up the doughnuts (mini doughnuts from Walgreens) so I can pig out in peace with the take-out. Ate the two drumsticks first - wow, on par with the corner store at the New Orleans French Quarter deli (Burgundy at Dumaine) and so damn good. I love my Popeye's chicken (the best in the world among the chicken chain restaurants) so this is a couple of notches down but many notches over the KFC and Church's franchises. Onto the jambalaya ... this is where I bumped up the four and a half star rating to a five star rating. It was the best chicken chain jambalaya - the rice was spiced just right, the sausage chunks cut just so, and the chicken bits perfect. It was just like what they would cook up at someone's kitchen in New Orleans. Not too spicy but enough. Reminded me of Popeye's "dirty rice" when Popeye's first made it back forty something years ago. Only thing missing was a strawberry soda, and biscuit (I'll reprimand Juanita later about not including it in my order) which I always get when back in the Quarter. All in all - great chicken lunch to go. No need to cross the street to hit Brenda's or KFC (cannot walk sufficiently and safely). Wow, tummy feels so full for under $10. Definitely going to send Juanita down there at least on a monthly basis. I need to try their mac and cheese, please.

Yelp
I've only ordered delivery from here. However, I LOVE their chicken, mashed potatoes and biscuits. The chicken has just the right crispyness and flavor. Mashed potatoes with gravy were good. Reasonably priced. The Good: Chicken really is quite good. It's not your KFC or Popeye's. Also they have never messed up an order. The Bad: Hmmm maybe that the mashed potatoes feel like instant. Still good but not great. The Ugly: Nothing I can think of. Chances I'll go back: I'm already thinking of my next order
google avatar

RICHARD W.

Yelp
My first time ordering from here. I ordered 8 piece chicken and macaroni & cheese. I did requested that I would no breast and wings and I did marked as extra charge for thighs but I only had 3 thighs the rest were 2 breast and 3 wings.. I would of given 5 stars because it was good but with only less thighs and I ate the thighs but I had my parents eat the wings and breast. Next time should follow the order requested..
google avatar

Tim L.

Yelp
Great fried chicken! Tasty and fresh when I picked it up. Nice and clean service as well. Definitely returning soon.
google avatar

Sandi L.

Yelp
I ordered delivery. One problem I often see is crispy dishes are covered so that steam cannot escape defeating the crispy crunchy texture we all live. Happily however, my order was packaged to retain that delicious crispy crunchy perfectly cooked juicy chicken and the Honey biscuits are heavenly. I would like to see some sides added to their menu and even a desert or two. Nevertheless, I'm hooked.
google avatar

Simon C.

Yelp
I've come here twice to satisfy my fried chicken addiction. Pros: Location, right in the TL Obviously fresh check with constant turnover (unlike KFC !!) The friend chicken itself ... better than KFC and lighter than Popeyes IMO The sides, the Mac n' Cheese and Jambalaya are awesome Quick and friendly service Will definitely come back every Friday for my fix from now on Cons: Not many, maybe small space with no seating

Yelp
I came here about 2 weeks ago and the food was great. And everything was fresh and not to greasy. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star was because the young guy sitting behind the counter semi working found his cell phone more important then me being a customer.

Yelp
You're better off getting McDonalds! It'll be cheaper and taste better! What a RIP OFF. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich from them and got a sad excuse that made a mcchicken look like a 5 start meal! For their crazy prices you would expect better food. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Yelp
We were walking on Eddy St when the fried chicken smell reached our noses. I told my husband "It smells soooo good". This guy on the street overheard us and came to tell us that this place is the real deal. We walked on and planned to come back later, but we ended up walking back rightaway because it smelled so god damn good! The chicken was so tender and juicy. Absolutely delicious! So happy to finally have such great fried chicken joint in our neighborhood

Yelp
I got delivery and the chicken tasted more like frozen recipe than Cajun recipe. Mashed potatoes also had an odd flavor to it and I, myself am not very picky about potatoes.
