Toast & Tonic Restaurant

Had a wonderful experience at this excellent place on April 18, 2025! The food and beverages were outstanding, although slightly pricey. The service was good, and the ambiance was pleasant, with neat and clean washrooms. A major plus was the comfortable atmosphere, allowing for easy conversation without loud music. A great spot to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

Toast & Tonic – Ashok Nagar Tucked away in the heart of Ashok Nagar, Toast & Tonic is one of those places that instantly charms you with its cozy, warm interiors and laid-back yet classy vibe. The menu was impressive, and we were lucky to get a great table. Our waiter was friendly and spot-on with recommendations. We tried the Bajra & Ricotta Gnudi, T&T Vegan Dam Dan Noodles, Breakfast at T&T Surfers Paradise (with chicken topping), French Classic Choco Cake, and the Baby Lamb Shoulder. Every single dish was spectacular – the lamb was melt-in-the-mouth soft and juicy, while the noodles were packed with flavor and a definite “oof” moment. Drinks paired perfectly with the food, and the main highlight was the dessert – a French Classic Choco Cake that came as an on-the-house recommendation. Rich, indulgent, and absolutely divine, it was the perfect ending. With its inviting atmosphere, great service, and memorable food, Toast & Tonic is a spot I’d happily revisit to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended.

The music hums in the background, just enough to set the mood without drowning your conversation. The food is consistently stellar, from melt-in-the-mouth pork belly to perfectly executed steaks. Drinks are inventive yet balanced, with enough variety to keep you coming back. Service is sharp, and the team clearly knows their craft. It’s a shame the Bangalore branches are closing. This one’s going to be missed.

Located on Lavelle Road, Toast & Tonic is a compact, lively space that buzzes with conversation and clinking glasses. The ambience is chic and intimate, ideal for a casual evening out. However, when it comes to the food and drinks, our experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. -Choripan Chimichurri Potatoes Fried baby potatoes tossed with shallots, smoked aubergine dip, chimichurri sauce, aioli, and herb seasoning. While it sounded promising, it tasted quite similar to basic aloo pakode—nothing too exciting or inventive. -Millet Gnocchi with Romesco Sauce Handmade millet and potato gnocchi with roasted pepper & tomato sauce, crisp sage, and parmesan. The texture was soft, but the overall dish felt a little flat and lacked the depth or boldness one expects from gnocchi with Romesco. Diablo – Gin, kaffir lime, bird’s eye chilli shrub, tonic water with kaffir lime leaf ice Herbalist – Gin, basil & orange shrub, tonic water with coriander orange ice British Raj – Gin, pomegranate & cinnamon shrub, tonic water with rose-petal cucumber ice Vanillin – Gin, vanilla & cinnamon shrub, tonic water with star-anise ice While the presentation was thoughtfully done with customized ice cubes for each drink, the flavours didn’t stand out as much as expected. All the cocktails felt a little too mild and similar, with not enough character in taste despite the creative descriptions.

We visited this restaurant on a weekday and were the first to arrive. The place was quiet, and the service was good. Our order arrived promptly, and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.

Top quality food. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Bangalore. Love that their cocktails as well as non alcoholic drinks taste great.

This place is a proper fine dine restaurant experience. It is not cheap by any means but again if you want to have a good time with your partner, friends and etc I will highly recommend this place. Their food is just very delicious and good. We ordered 3 dishes and all 3 if them were good. By good I don't mean any normal good. I mean it's commensurate to the price you pay. Their service is fast, friendly and feels like you are being fed food in such a lovely and redirected manner. The ambiance is also well thought out. This place is known for it's Gin Tonics and drinks and you can't miss those of you visit this place (unless you don't drink like me). All in very happy that I visited this place. Highly recommended.

Perhaps the best gastronomic experience of the last year. Everything is great: from the friendly atmosphere, the interior design and the attention of the manager Ganesh Ghulanawar before beautiful обслуживания the team and the most delicious dishes of this year. And of course, signature cocktails! I highly recommend you to visit!
