15 Best Restaurants To Try Along the Las Vegas Strip | Eater

"Southern fried Twinkies and a fried bologna sandwich alone make two great excuses to head to Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah’s Las Vegas, and the nightly live music doesn’t hurt either. The country music star named the restaurant for his song “I Love This Bar,” then filled it with Southern fare and country music acts performing every night. Sometimes the star even makes an unannounced visit to drop a few songs on his fans. Deep South favorites include chicken fried steak lathered with country gravy; the Bronco Burger made with smoked brisket and topped with cheddar, bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion straws, and BBQ sauce; St. Louis ribs slathered in a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce; and jumbo beer-battered shrimp with a choice of two sides. Make sure to stop by the gift store for Toby Keith memorabilia." - Vox Creative

Google
Great food and great Oklahoma hospitality! I sat at the bar and Elisabeth introduced herself and took my drink order. She also wrote down her name and the other bartender's name on a name card and set it in front of me. A nice touch to the service. I wasn't starving but wanted to give this place a try, so I ordered the half rack of ribs and green chili mac & cheese. Both had a nice little crust on them and were delicious! I'll definitely come here again if I'm ever in OKC.

Google
From a Mississippi girl, I'm embarrassed to say this experience put some of our best restaurants to shame.... server was amazing, fast, catered to our needs, kept drinks full, friendly, etc. The food came out fast, hot, prepared and presented perfectly! Gorgeous restaurant. Very clean. Affordable too! Very impressed all around!

Google
One of my better restaurant experiences!.. we went early so wasn't super busy. Service was perfect! Food was good I found the pickle just a little salty. Portions were generous!

Google
The experience was great! The servers were very friendly, the service was timely, and the portions were great for the price. All of the food tasted good, but it wasn't what made the experience. The bread rolls had too much salt, it took away from the bread, my salad was supposed to have ranch and it didn't, but our server quickly brought some out when we informed him, and the main course tasted average.

Google
We ate early before a huge rush on a Friday late afternoon. Getting to this parking lot was a bit messy but that could have been on me and my GPS maps. Not real sure. But we had a filet and a ribeye and tumbleweed onions and a house salad. I actually really liked the honey mustard dressing here. It wasn't overly sweet and delicious. I would have liked a French dressing choice because I think everything was available except a French. Other wise it was delicious

I have wanted to stop here ever since I heard about it years ago so while in OKC for the Women's College World Series we made a point to eat here. The food was great and the service was even better. Everything we ate was great but I have to recommend the fried pickles as a key appetizer to get.

Google
We needed lunch after the Ultimate RV show, so we picked Toby Keith's. We were seated right away. Our server was quick with the drinks ( and he kept them coming). The menu wasn't extensive, which i found surprising, BUT what they offer on that menu is 100% perfection and deliciousness!! I got the brisket nachos, which is on the appetizer menu. I wasn't sure about the spicy ranch, so i got it on the side. A 2-ounce cup was not enough of that spicy ranch wizardry!!! A whiskey barrel would have been an appreciated amount!! The brisket was tender and delicious. The barbecue sauce was perhaps the best bbq sauce we've ever had! And all together with queso drizzle and tortilla chips, salsa!! 💋 Hubbs got the smoked brisket quesadillas. He didn't speak through his entire meal and he ate his leftovers at home! We were too early for the live music, but we had a 2.5 hour drive home. This is a really cool place, and I would love to come back for more food and music. The restaurant is enormous!! It's larger than an average restaurant, and the bar is pretty dang huge too! The staff we encountered were all very professional, the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were well kept also!! We highly recommend Toby Keith's I love this bar & grill!!

Google
The ORIGINAL Toby Keith’s bar. Had an amazing fried baloney sandwich (what they’re known for) and some quality drinks. Sydney was awesome and even played my favorite Toby Keith song, “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” - highly recommend stoping here when you’re in town!

Yelp
My sister and I went to the location in Moore. The food was good, the ambiance was pleasant. But the service and staff were phenomenal. Everyone, the waitress, hostess, manager, was very attentive and and kind. The manager was out wiping tables alongside of the other employees. It truly felt as if everyone genuinely liked being where they were. You can tell a difference between servers who are happy and those told how to look happy. It was just a good dining experience. Also the portion sizes were huge.

Yelp
What a change since Toby's passing!!! No longer have my go to... shrimp dinner So, I ordered the catfish... only baked beans ??? No cornbread??? No hush puppies???! One side??? Not a happy camper

Yelp
We decided to go here on a whim. You could smell the delicious food from outside. The place is huge and set up like a concert venue and I love all of the thoughtful details. FOOD: the catfish nuggets were ahmazing! You could smell how fresh they were. The fry was light crispy and flavorful, the tartar sauce was just as good. A must every time we come back to OKC. The ribs were delicious as well, another must order next time. Baked beans were delicious. We tried the brisket sandwich and it was okay, I wish I ordered the ribs. The cowboy corn, which is a spicy cream corn was good but not something I would order again. SERVICE: Wanted to give a shout out to our server (( TJ )) he was absolutely amazing. He had great recommendations for food & was very knowledgeable about the menu. He handled any issues with food swiftly and professionally, he made our first visit here wonderful!!!!

Yelp
Best catfish this side of the red river. Chicken fried steak was top notch. Only needed one side for the catfish so filling and amazing food. Service was excellent never ran out of my drink. I love this bar.

Yelp
First place we tried since arriving from NC. It was early in the lunch hour and we were seated quickly and greeted by our server Chloe. We got drinks and cheese fries to start. We took our time exploring the menu and Chloe didn't rush us at all. She always kept our drinks full (my son has a drinking problem, with soda) and was extremely attentive. I ended up getting the fried catfish sandwich and my son got the Who's your daddy sandwich. They were both very good!! Overall the food was great but the service was even better!!
google avatar

Mary Beth B.

Yelp
The food was outstanding. The best catfish I've had. It was a lot of fun for game day. The waiter had his hands way too full. We waited a long time to get food and the check. We will come again but hopefully next time it won't be a long wait.

Lauren G.

Yelp
Today we had lunch at Toby Keith's . We ordered the brisket sandwich. I would not recommend it nor will I go back to this restaurant. I have cooked brisket and ordered it at other restaurants and never have I had meat that contained so much fat that I couldn't eat it. My lunch was so disappointing. The sandwich made me feel sick it had so much fat. I tried two bites and left the rest . Our waitress was very nice and recommended the brisket but I don't.

Yelp
This location is huge!!! Music is mainly country but it is a welcoming atmosphere. The food took about 20 mins to get out to us. This was right after lunch so they weren't busy however all of our food was freshly made. Keep in mind if a baseball game is going on expect to wait longer.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was just Ok, I wouldn't sit down at an antique desk and pin a hand-written letter to my family. The joint is large with tons of tables...with oddly short chairs. Lots of murals adorn the walls as well as cool memorabilia. The spunky waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the special...my mistake for ordering a sea living animal at a land based eatery. The Mahi was tasty but dry, and I don't understand the large scoop of guac on top of it. The creamed corn is killer, though! If I wasn't working, I would have ordered an adult beverage. I may re-visit during the weekend when there's live music.

Yelp
It was a fun place to go in and eat at. It was a country bar with glitter saddles hanging from the ceiling! Very patriotic! Service was good seemed a little rushed and it could have been they were closing in 30 mins. Food was good, the nachos were good, kind of skimpy on the toppings, but the cheese and beef was good. I had the Spicy Chicken Enchiladas and it was kind of dry on the inside, the sauce on top was good, it was spicy, the rice was very plain and not a lot of flavor. I was just expecting more flavor.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Food was good, we both had chicken fried steak and it did not disappoint. Drink prices very reasonable. However, service was lacking. Asked for some extra gravy when our food was delivered and it never appeared, our waitress did not check on us once after delivering drinks until it was time for our check. It wasn't busy so there's no excuse. Ambiance was fun, not a huge Toby Keith / country music fan but still enjoyed it thoroughly. Our vehicle got vandalized in the parking lot though. That was the icing on a rather meh cake, we will not be back.

Yelp
I came here for nostalgic reasons, I passed through 17 years ago around the time this place first opened but it was too early and we couldn't wait for it to open for the day, so I took this opportunity to try again. The place inside has some really cool decor but it's super dim inside so if my you're anything like me and your eyes don't adjust well to dim lighting it's hard to see the menu. Our server was kind and offered her personal opinion on the choices we were hung up on. I started off with a beer that was good but it wasn't very cold. I personally went with the Brisket Nachos. Which was very, very tender and flavorful but everything was cold from the Queso to the brisket. I didn't want to complain because we were on a time crunch. We also tried the catfish dinner with a side of green Chile Mac and cheese. The catfish was well seasoned with a good corn meal crunch breading. The Mac had a bite which lost the cheesy flavor BUT it wasn't burn your mouth taste nothing hot. Other than my food being cold the service was a little slow. We asked for a minute to review the menu after drinks being ordered and it took about 15 min to come back. The food came out super Quick though after we ordered.

Yelp
My first time eating here and I was not disappointed at all!! Was in OKC for a Blue Star Mothers convention and they even recognized us! The service was excellent the food was amazing, the prices were great. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
First off, I never leave reviews because my family owned a catering company for over a decade and you can't please them all.. From the start, we walked in and the hostess said happy hour was till 7pm. My coworker is from Arizona had never had catfish and I wanted him to try the nuggies because I read good things about them. Turns out happy hour ended at 6pm, no big deal. l asked how much they cost and was told a price...OK great.. Food comes out and it's Calf Fries & my coworker wouldn't try them. Ordered beers at the same time as the appetizer and his beer was wrong....On a roll now..They continued to bring the wrong beer back several times during our dining experience Ordered the meal next, I ordered the fried bologna sandwhich and my coworker ordered a loaded bake potato. The server made sure to ask everything on it and he repeated back No Sour Cream. Food came out and you got it...Sour Cream. Two managers were standing right there the entire time. Tall skinny guy and Hispanic lady and not once did they ask anything or check up on us. They were standing 8ft away. Even though the bar top ladies knew how messed up the order was considering they kept bringing the wrong beer. I am not the type that causes a scene over messed up orders one time... no biggie BUT FOR EVERY ORDER we made!!!! Houston we have a problem....I live in Texas ... Picked this place after recommendations from the guys that run the show @ OKG&E after working at their site for the week refreshing their video calls.. Check# 1349085 Table# 202

Yelp
Went for lunch with friends. It was warm inside. It wasn't too packed, but still had a 30min wait. Server was great, live music was nice, and the food was yummy

Yelp
My wife and I came here a year ago. We came back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love Toby's grill. Very clean. Desira did a great job taking care of us. The food was fresh and hot. We will definitely come back again
google avatar

Yelp
First time visitors to Toby's restaurant. The service was good and the ambiance was great. We were in the back area where it is more private and better for one on one dates. I had the grilled chicken with French fries and it was okay. However my date had the filet, ordered medium, it was overcooked and dry. She described it as her worst steak ever. She enjoyed the salad and the side of okra. Overall looks like a great place to go for events or concerts but a little lacking in the food department.
google avatar

Mike N.

Yelp
Ordered the TK Burger, the wife BALT - bacon avocado lettuce and tomato. Service was good. Definitely has a country bar vibe.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a cold beer before hitting an early afternoon matinee at the theater next door. Needless to say, the place was relatively empty in the afternoon, especially given the size of the establishment. The place is large. A very cool country atmosphere that reminded me a lot of Texas music venues. Seemed clean and well kept. We sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartended. We ordered our drinks and looked at the menu. Drinks were served within a couple minutes. My tall beer was cold and fresh in a frosty glass. My wife's martini was just right. Good drinks. We didn't want to eat much since we were going to be in the theater for the next couple hours, so we just ordered the chips & queso, salsa and the chili topping on the side. The chips were nice, seemed fresh. The queso was really good; tasty and decent sized dish. The salsa and chili side was a bit lacking in size. Tiny plastic containers that would normally be for condiments like ketchup. Wasn't thrilled with this since we paid at least $2 for that tiny bit of chili. I'm sure the place is really cool in the evening when a band is on stage (huge stage). We'll probably go back one evening and try it out.

Eugene C.

Yelp
Well. Disappointing is a good word. Let's start with what's good. The beer and the service. The prime rib ($30) is literally the worst prime rib I have ever had. It tastes like it was cooked on charcoal that wasn't burned down long enough. Ordered medium and I guess that means well done here. Hate to say but I would never order food from here. But good place to stop for a couple tall cold ones.
google avatar

Abby T.

Yelp
Stopped here while in OKC and had a great experience! The service was great and the staff was cheerful. Hubby and I split a Brisket Sandwich and had a couple drinks. The brisket was super yummy and full of flavor!! The decor was so fun and the ceilings are super tall which makes for a spacious and uplifting dining experience. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
First of all, I love Toby Keith. He's an amazing musical artist. But his restaurant did not match his amazing aura and energy. I happened to be in town and my longtime friend was gracious to take me to this restaurant. The food was basic and nothing exciting that stood out from it. Alex was our server. He was kind. Maybe one day I may try out this place again, and give it another chance, but then again there are a lot competitive restaurants nearby.
google avatar

Tiffany R.

Yelp
While in OKC, figured we'd try this place. The fam was so happy we did. Had great service, excellent food, and left with leftovers since the portions were pretty big.

Donna S.

Yelp
Our server Gracie was just as her name says gracious and kind. The food was wonderful. We will definitely consider coming back when back in town.
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
Our server Mercy was a phenomenal person. She was witty and fun to speak to. Her food suggestions were amazing and we indulged in a wonderful meal. My brother in law was serving in Iraq when Toby paid them a visit, Toby rode in the van and visited their spaces signed the van and signed his fender guitar. So stopping here was important, I was sure glad we did. The place is spacious and really a fun spot to enjoy a drink and spend time with friends. We hope you stop by if your ever in Oklahoma City. This was a total American Vibe! Salute!
google avatar

Theresa E.

Yelp
In my humble opinion: Curb appeal is simple but still manages to look grand. The main dining is also pretty grand. Large horse shoe bar. And upper balcony. Patio seating as well. Kaitlin was our server. She was attentive and easy to talk to. Not at all awkward. Just real friendly. The tumbleweed appetizer was massive and yummy. We tried to eat it all. The BALT sandwich was also delicious and a little bit greasy. The prices are up there but we shared. And beer was $3- making dinner for 2- $33
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
We had to come back because my daughter wanted more sirloin steak and a loaded baked potato (9$) for that is unbeatable. Oh and it comes with delicious fresh orange juice. So we stop by on our way to the movies . The service there is so nice they made us feel right at home ! Love the music and ambiance!
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
The live music was good and the staff was friendly...but the service was extremely slow, most of our orders had something wrong about them, and the food was barely like warm. Wouldn't come back...Did not love this bar.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
The Music is great, bartender we had was great, but the food isn't the best.. mediocre at best. We had a few beers, a few shots, martini's and they were all great. The sandwiches were a bit forgetful.
google avatar

Donna T.

Yelp
We were wanting to get a steak for dinner and we wanted some place new. At least some place we hadn't been to in a long time. So we tried Toby Keith's. We got in and were seated the place was clean and inviting. We were given menus and when we were looking at the steak choices we were unpleasantly surprised by the prices and the choice of steak sizes. We usually buy a bigger steak and share the sides. They only offered one sirloin and it was too small to share. We decided to leave and try something else.
google avatar

Helen C.

Yelp
Ok so we went twice in one weekend and the bar Service was amazing ,Very attentive and Very sweet ,we had Grant ,Alyssa and Sydney and they were great we had calf fries ,chicken fried steak ,roasted chicken ,baked potatoes and bologna sandwich all was amazing the only down fall was they forgot my gravy on the chicken fried steak and I took it to go so that was a huge let down but everything was super good !!!!I can't say enough about the service it was a great experience all in all !!!

Rebecca R.

Yelp
The food was great. Service was perfect, very nice & polite. The setting was really cool. I even purchased a t-shirt while I was there. I really great experience!!

Teresa T.

Yelp
Great service for a Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and the beer was cold. We had the catfish nuggets as an appetizer - ask for it - not on the menu. I had the BBQ chicken with fries. We shared the banana pudding dessert. All were great tasting. The only downside was they don't subscribe to NFL Ticket, so we were stuck watching one NFL game that we didn't care about.

Teresa A.

Yelp
Awesome place. Bartenders were on it. Merci and dalton were super nice and very attentive. Live music was great - hunter Thomas. Food was good drinks were well priced!!! Not too loud and a great atmosphere
google avatar

Steve E.

Yelp
Walked in and immediately felt like I loved this bar lol. Seriously though, it was very nice and clean. We sat at the bar and were waited on immediately by a very nice lady that made a great recommendation...The TK burger which was delicious. The other people visiting this establishment were also very nice and fun to talk to. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling through OKC to stop and check it out.
google avatar

Lawrence C.

Yelp
Great food, great service, very fair price and terrific nostalgic atmosphere. Serving size was very fair. Great Bricktown location. Loved the catfish. Loved the beer. Will definitely return. Cheers Toby- you are an American hero.

Linda P.

Yelp
We went to the I love this bar in OKC and ordered the ribs. They were so tender and flavorful. The side salad was a good size and tasted really fresh. The sauce on the ribs was a good sweet barbecue flavor and you can order a bottle to go. Ribs were so good we ordered some to go. The bar/grill has lots of Tony Keith memorabilia and a stage for times when they have someone scheduled, or not. There is definitely a sense of pride that went into making this bar. Service was excellent, we went on a Friday early evening.
google avatar

Doug B.

Yelp
The Staff was super friendly and our server was great! The Bbq Brisket Quesadilla appetizer was 8 fully stuffed triangles packed with brisket and cheese and other goodness and was phenomenal. We had the fried Bologna sandwich which is a super think cut piece of fried bologna with cheese and bbq sauce and lettuce and tomato along with the fries it was delicious. Also got the TK burger which was packed with onion straws and cheese and the side with that was a green hatch chili Mac and cheese.... Totally worth stopping in after the Sooners Game in Norman! Only had to wait about 10 min for our table and the food came super fast! Overall great dining experience along with staff and ambiance!
google avatar

Corbett D.

Yelp
My wife and I visited here this evening for the first time. There was a little wait not bad for a Friday evening. The food was really good and fresh. Our waitress Amelia did a wonderful job she took very good care of us. The atmosphere was great. Evan Phillips was playing and did a very good job as well.
google avatar

Stu Y.

Yelp
The filet and baked potato were one of the best I've ever had! Absolutely outstanding! If Toby's music thing doesn't work out, the man cooks a mean steak! Also our waiter TJ, took good care of us. The live bad was very good - they played a lot of oldies! I highly recommend Toby Keith's!

Greg S.

Yelp
Had the brisket sandwich. It was terrible. Bun was stale. Sandwich was cold. Meat was sparse and mostly fat. Piled string onions on top to make up for lack of meat. Had to ask for bbq sauce since there was almost none. Go somewhere else. Green beans were good. Big deal. Service was good and the ambience is what you'd expect.

Chris F.

Yelp
Good food and great service, clean restaurant, The wait time was just like they said See you next time God bless Toby Keith!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
What can I say I love this bar. The food and drinks are always affordable and taste great. Depending on day there's sometimes a wait but it's worth the wait.

Gary W.

Yelp
great food. the biggest country fried steak I have ever seen. service was also great. we ate early but the atmosphere was good anyway.
google avatar

Sandy N.

Yelp
Great place and fun atmosphere. Lunch was Ribeye and Prime Rib, both cooked to perfection. Sides, mash potatoes which have some spice, and mac and cheese with a kick. Server was attentive. Would go back for sure. As an extra bonus, drive down the parking lot (toward Bass shop) to see the magnificent Sooners Land Rush statues. Or go see the statues first and come back to the restaurant. It was amazing!!
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
It's a cool place, and not expensive. I'd go there all the time if I lived nearby. Kudos to TK and this restaurant for the on-the-house cheeseburger for American soliders. I love this bar!
google avatar

Dee T.

Yelp
Two words: Don't Go!!! We stopped at this restaurant recently and while we were super hungry, they totally under delivered and left me hungry. I'm not sure who is keeping them in business, but, you should be ashamed!!!! It's terrible.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Better I'm sure with live music! Awesome food. Awesome service. I asked for extra sauce. It was a little late- but brought by 2 servers, so it's a 4- not a 5.

Nia G.

Yelp
The food absolutely salty and flavorless couldn't even make it past the appetizers. Service just as horrible as the food they don't know how to properly serve people or at least me in a professional manner I hate to say it but people of color this might not be the place for you. Overall I won't be back here ever again and as for their business I hope they find a better way to run it. XD
