Love the seasonal menu and fresh drinks. Please upgrade to the fries, you won't be disappointed and will beg for more. The deviled eggs are chefs kiss. There hasn't been anything I've been disappointed with. I little birdie told me that there will be an arcade opening next door with a walkthrough from Tocororo.

So, this used to be Stache, a really good sandwich shop. Not sure if they are the same owners or not. The interior is the same. Seems that the only thing that is different is the name and the menu. The menu has a ton of Jerked meat options. I was there for a work event and we had the BBQ and Jerked Chicken samplers. They were really good. They have a spicy fries option that was different but so good. I ordered their burger and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The pictured cocktail was good too. I can't remember the name but just show the picture.

Every time I go back, every drink, and menu item continues to impress me. You really feel like you can relax and enjoy yourself. Is this "Island time"? Looking forward to the collaboration with the arcade to give myself even more excuses to find myself at Tocororo.

Can't wait to return. When I say we both don't care for "wet or poutine" fries, and loved their Buffalo curry fries! Also the Gochujang chicken thigh sandwich was soo flavorful, crispy and delicious!

Excellent little place to grab a bite before a show or a drink and munchies afterwords. We tried a cocktail and a mocktail. Both were delicious and I actually think I preferred the latter. Got the mushroom dip and the jerk chowder as an appetizer. The chowder was phenomenal! Loved every second of it! Didn't get pictures of the burgers we ordered, because they were so tasty we devoured them without a second thought. I had the lamb burger and my partner had the mushroom Swiss. My burger, I loved the pineapple slaw on it and my partners burger tasted like mushroom gravy, so good! This place is fantastic if you're in Detroit and want a little dive to hang out at with your friends.

The Tocororo is the best restaurant in Detroit. It's located right off of I75 and super easy to get to. The service is fantastic, the bartender and chef are top notch class acts all around. The drinks are amazing. Connor the bartender makes amazing cocktails and is fast and fancy. The atmosphere is super chill with plenty of room to move about and mingle. They also do game nights on Wednesday. The food is amazing. We had curry fries and some pulled pork sliders, they were divine. I can't recommend Tocororo enough, if you live in southeast Michigan you owe it yourself and to Detroit to try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed. Highest Recommendation I can give.

Everything was fine. I'm a tough grader. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Service was relatively quick, but, at the time I was there, I was pretty close to the only customer. I had the chicken legs, to go. The barbecue was better than the Jamaican. They were both good. With tax, it was almost $12 for 3 chicken legs. Even though they were decent sized, that's just a little bit pricey, to me. Location, convenient. for me. Parking, a bit problematic. A couple of other bars right next door, so I suppose one could have a little fun. I've definitely had worse. Enjoy

Came in on their Wednesday Game Night, with my daughter( I believe they have a live Dj that starts at 9, but we left before that time). The staff was really friendly and inviting. Had fun playing the games provided, and the drinks were perfect! Great taste and strong! I recommend the Hurricane and my daughter enjoyed her mocktail made custom by the bartender based on her preferences :) Didn’t stay for food because it wasn’t a typical kid friendly restaurant although kids are indeed welcome. No kid menu for my daughter and it was very dimly lit inside. This place would be great for a date night, a meet up with friends or a place to stop by for a drink after work. I’ll definitely be returning to try out the food and give a better review

My wife and I went here after doing our Market thing on Saturday. Vibe was cool and friendly. Rum forward drink selection; plenty of beers. Games and a complete set of D&D Monster Manuals for the nerd in you. Bob Ross and Pet TV - I like sports too but a nice change of pace. With trees. Food was excellent. Mushroom-onion dip with chips was a great take on the classic, the legs were fabulous (don't want to go back to tiny wings) but the star of the show was the Caribbean chowder. Best bite of food I have had in a long time. All delivered by the chef hot out of the kitchen. I have my sights set on the lamb burger on my next visit. Check it out.

So I really had no idea what to expect at this restaurant- transparently I thought it would be Mexican food! Instead we were greeted with delicious chicken legs, well seasoned fries, and burgers. The chicken was insanely good and a great price for the portion. These aren't rinky dink legs, you'll leave feeling full! The interior is nothing too fancy but there's a plethora of board games to choose from should your group like to play + a full bar for drinks. Service was great and our waiter was very helpful in making suggestions. He let us know some of the apps, drink specials, and sauces will change quarterly so be sure to check in once in a while to see what's new.

Found this place on a fluke and loved it. The address on E Fisher Fwy threw me, but it is between Thomas Magee's and the meat market over the bridge and to the south of the main Eastern Market. Owners Connor and David are entire operation, with Connor on the drinks side and David working the food. We started with cherry bbq chips and chervre cheese and moved on to burgers and fries. Both burgers were delicious and loved the buffalo curry fries. I thought the ambiance was perfect, laid back, nice background music, anduted TV's playing pet video station and Bob Ross ;). I was impressed that Connor and Davidade a point of calling us by name - I guess you're only a stranger once! I can see that stopping in for drinks and/or food to or from an event would be ideal. Great find!

Top notch food and service in a lively area in Eastern Market. They also have fun drinks at reasonable prices. Don't expect fancy, laid back vibe.

Tocororo was very much just ok food wise. However I appreciated the number of vegan food options. The fries were a great texture but they went a little overboard with seasoning. It was very salty. While my crispy "fish" sandwich was overly bland. Additionally I am not entirely sure on what the vibe they are trying to give in regard to the decor. Part tropical, part edgy, part forest with an option to play board games. However it could be a nice ice breaker place to go for a date. People were playing D&D there and they did have books available to use to play also. We didn't have any drinks while we were there but they sounded interesting. I probably wouldn't be pressed to go back but it was a chill spot. The service was really good however and the main person waiting us had a great vibe.

Great new spot in the former Stache International space. Cool music, good vibes, doesn't look too different from the former spot except that the horses are gone and a few pairs of Tocoroco birds are present. From what I can tell, the food is great. I got the pimento cheese burger that normally comes with chips but you can do a couple buck upgrade the fries. The burger was a dang tall monster! I might have preferred a more medium cooked patty that was thinner to match then bun size better and could have been eaten with a more lady-like bite. Regardless, it was damn tasty. For drinks, I got the Painkiller on ice but I think the preferred style of to have it blended. They actually have a blender here and are not afraid to use it! So if you've been hankering for blended tiki drinks, come on down! I also got the Grog which was potent, pretty, and tasty. Service was great. Attentive, not hovering. Definitely a welcome edition to the area and Detroit as a whole. I'll be back!

Best burgers in the city! Best craft cocktails! A must if you are looking for quiet & fun! So yummy! The frickin best!!!!! Great food! Great service! A pleasure to be here! Also, try beet eggs, and homemade onion dip! I trip to childhood grandma's homemade favorites!

Giving 5 stars for atmosphere, prices, food quality and friendliness of the staff. This is bar food, so it's heavy and greasy. Totally yummy and the taste matches the price! Drinks were INSANE. Sooooo good! Love all of the decor, and love the displays of ally-ship to marginalized peoples. Go visit!

LOVE this place. The food is consistently amazing every time me and my husband pop in. Drinks are super good and strong. Just realized today that the bartender is also the waiter now I'm wondering how he does it all! He is absolutely amazing, quick, never messes up and order and super friendly. The chef comes out sometimes, he's awesome you just instantly wanna be friends with the guy lol. It's always a chill cozy vibe in the heart of a lively neighborhood. You can hear music, yet hear each other talk. It's perfect, I hope they're around for years to come. All in all it's a great vibe for date night, day drinking, catching up with the girls, or bringing the folks who came to visit from out of town.

Super solid food and great cocktails. Nice service too. I liked the pinnacle burger and the grog drink.

What a great place in Eastern Market! I recently went with a group of four people following a Lions' game and was very impressed. Service was great and they had a great drink menu. The best part is that they can make anything on their menu vegan! Highly recommend!

For the app I had the Pickled devil eggs - delicious. Followed up by the legs (one day I had the jerk and next time the hot bbq) sauce was great and the legs were done right. Good flavor and tender. Top tier smiles and friendliness from Connor behind the bar and Dave in & out of the kitchen. My friends that met me up there were checked in on anytime drinks got low. Both drinks and food were prompt. I love the lighting, color palette and overall atmosphere in this fine establishment. Will be returning often. This place is an absolute gem.

Our burgers were very delicious! We are looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken.

We were starving and looking for some food at 11:30pm and stumbled upon this place which was open till 12am. We were warmly greeted. It was AMAZING! We ordered the Cherry Cherve burgers with fries and the hot honey BBQ chicken legs. I inquired about gluten free and ordered mine w a gluten free bun which added a few minutes on to the cooking. The food was all amazing! The gluten free bun was wonderful and the burgers were delicious and cooked to perfection! The fries were delicious and seasoned so well. They were not too skinny or too fat; they were just perfect. The ketchup was a smaller plastic squeeze bottle which worked well. I am not a fan of the glass bottles where the ketchup doesn't come out. It's the little things. The legs were yummy. The food was very fresh, cooked well and served piping hot, which in and of itself is amazing late at night 30 minutes before closing. The bartender recommended a pain killer cocktail and it was amazing too!! My husband ordered a 51K beer and said it was an outstanding IPA. And he knows his beer. This place is a hidden gem. Great service, amazing food and cool ambiance. I used the restroom and it was attractively decorated and sparkling clean. We will be back for sure!

Great, creative cocktails, and the flavors coming out of the kitchen are incredible! We're coming back to taste again!
