Great little restaurant tucked inside an Italian food store. There was only one server when we were then on a Sunday at lunchtime, but he was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food arrived in reasonable time. The crab burger is highly recommended, although the waffles are clearly not a speciality here and were quite underwhelming, even the kids didn’t enjoy them. That being said, waffles in an enoteca are never a smart idea. Fantastic wine list and a few tap beers too.

Awesome service. Small but very personal. Love, love their fascinating array of cheeses, absolutely heavenly. Their cakes are also pretty exceptional too. I usually buy fresh bagels and freshly made cream cheese on Friday evening, for breakfast on Saturday. Yum 😋!

I shop here weekly and always find a variety of fresh prepared foods, salads, cheeses, breads and desserts so why cook?!! We usually have a meal weekly at their cozy cafe and enjoyed this food establishment for 30 years!! The staff are very courteous and helpful always! Please stop in and enjoy one of our favorite neighborhood places to savor great food!! Family owned and operated and we believe in patronizing family establishments.

It is a cute Italian grocery store near NYU Hospital. The best part about this little market is their deli sandwiches. They have great cold cut and cheese and their sandwiches are fresh and huge. They also have a daily special, which is a steal for usually $6. They also have these hot food sections during lunch hours and price is pretty fair. I want to try their Italian coffee next time!

Great prices, their Pesto was amazing :) I had the Tortellini - it worked perfectly. Yes I would go here again - they have a great menu! I like the vegetable focus compared to other Italian restaurants I've been to :)

I have no idea how this has such high ratings. We ate here for lunch and it was one of the worst meals I have ever had in New York. The service was horrible and the food was cold. I complained and the waitress did not seem equipped to respond to a dissatisfied customer. The owner was actually in the dining room but also seemed disinterested in their customers dining experiences. 1 star is too generous for this experience.

It is always a great place for a quick snack, bite or full meal. The wine selection is fantastic. House wine that does not break your bank account. I love to go there.

There's a lot of lore about New York deli's and Todaro's is one of the few family run businesses that still is left. And what a gem it is. From their simply delicious sandwiches made on nice chewy french breads, to their excellent potato salad, to-die-for buttermilk fried chicken, and their prime quality meats... there's a lot here to EAT! My personal favorite are their salads. The leftovers from their expansive cheese section end up in the salad. So not only are you eating a 'goat cheese salad'. You're eating such a salad with a really amazing dollop of any of their varieties of goat cheese. Also did I mention the cheese guy there is NUTS (but in a good way?) I've never heard a man talk about cheese in such a loving way. Ask him a question sometime... :-)
